If you want to have a good time on the dance floor at your wedding, Marc is the right choice. We originally met Marc at a vendor day at our venue and after talking to a few different DJ's, we knew Marc was the right fit for us. Marc helped us curate a fun playlist from the ceremony all the way through to the end of the reception. The dance floor was full all night and we still have guests telling us how much they loved the music at our reception. Marc kept the energy high all night and he is truly an entertainer, we couldn't have asked for anything better, and we can't recommend him highly enough!

An extraordinary 50th wedding anniversary Beverly and David Musselman
The event went from a playlist to an explosion of fun . Our children surprises with the DJ Mark Snyder, and what a gift of fun it was for all one of the extraordinary talents of marc is not only can he read the audience, but I told him several stories I wanted to share And he repeated them verbatim word for word ..50 years ago we had a very modest reception and now we had a great celebration with our children, grandchildren and close friends. The first time I met Marc was at the event and we definitely connected. Marq was incredible! His professionalism and gift of weaving a magical night were impressive! Marquis is absolutely amazing! Very professional, the ease of picking what you want to hear and what songs everyone should come out too. The up lighting was a last minute add on by us, and it came out amazing. Definitely worth the money! Marq kept our dancefloor bumping all night! Marq was able to provide two top quality wireless microphones for our ceremony. He curated the pre-ceremony music and the entire cocktail hour music. I asked for instrumental covers for pre-ceremony and songs like guardians of the galaxy for cocktail hour and he delivered!! We understand everyone has slightly different preferences when it comes to music and when we requested slightly different transitions Marq adjusted that immediately. We really appreciate his ability to accommodate our requests. Everyone loved Marq's enthusiasm and how he jams out to his music and gets the crowd going.

I hired my entertainment at the last minute and was really having an hard time with the wedding planning process because of COVID, but DJ Marquis was a God send! I knew from our first conversation after how kind, patient, and professional he was that I was in good hands. Marc was recommended to us by our venue owner, and we could not have been happier with our decision to hire him for our wedding! He was highly responsive throughout the entire process and make it so easy and fun! We had a blast making our own playlists for our ceremony, dinner, and dancing! It was important for us to work with a DJ who would set the vibe for our reception and could keep that energy all night. Marc was listed as a recommended vendor on our venue’s website. After reading all of the reviews, we were confident he would deliver the experience we wanted for our wedding. We reached out to Marc and he responded immediately, quickly jumping in to get a sense of what we needed and the services he could provide to deliver that experience. We signed the contract and we were all set.
Months passed before I reconnected with Marc because of the pandemic. We weren’t sure what we were going to be able to do because of COVID and all of the restrictions. We decided to move forward with our wedding. We had to make some slight changes to our original plan, but Marc was able to accommodate and bring all the extra sound systems needed for our outdoor ceremony and reception. The online planning system he provides is great! Working within the system leading up to our final meeting was very helpful and allowed us to get organized by including timelines, songs, and playlists we wanted.
Everyone had a blast at the wedding! My husband and me did not sit down the entire night! We had an eclectic playlist, from tropical house and instrumental mariachi, to 90s, 00s and top 40s. He mixed all of these genres seamlessly! We danced from the moment we had our first dance to the last song. Our family and friends of all ages raved about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Marc checked in with us throughout the night to see if there were still certain songs on our “must play” list we wanted to hear, which we really appreciated. I loved seeing our friends go up to Marc to request a song and get so excited when he played it.
Although we started the initial conversation in December 2019 for our wedding in August 2020, we actually met for the first time via Zoom the week of our wedding and in person on our wedding day. If you’re considering Marc for your wedding, book him even if you can’t meet in person until a later date. He is responsive, flexible, has a great personality, and will make sure your wedding is a memorable experience! We would work with him again in a heartbeat!

This DJ was very professional and understands wedding receptions. He took charge of our entrances, bouquet toss, and added beautiful touches during the evening including a special dance for my parent’s and a moment for my grandfather to be acknowledged and sing his favorite song because we mentioned it to him over the phone. We also gave very vague and obscure instructions for the projection of our names and he worked with someone to do a beautiful job with it. He was familiar with our venue, understood my musical tastes based off of the songs I provided, and was able to use songs that weren’t in his database. He gave good suggestions in the planning process. He asked me and my husband before the evening ended if there were any songs we didn’t hear yet that he should play. Marc was very professional and accommodating to us when we originally changed our wedding date. His system for choosing music and creating playlists is very easy and user friendly. Leading up to the wedding we had calls to confirm everything was right. Marc really goes out of his way to give the customer what they are looking for such as creating a mash up song for us. Marc did an amazing job at our wedding!!! From day one he was professional, responsive, and very helpful. We told him generally what music we wanted to hear, along with a few of our must play songs, but left most of it up to him. He absolutely knocked it out of the park! DJ Marquis was everything we were looking for in a DJ! He was so easy to talk with and made the whole process stress-free. His online system of choosing must play/do not play songs was also something we really enjoyed. He was a down to earth guy that kept us and all of our guests on the dance floor all night! He came recommended to us from a friend and we certainly pass on that recommendation! Our wedding planner and photographers both had amazing things to say about him when we were asked who we were using. Best DJ I've experienced! Thank you DJ Marquis!

Marc was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. The online planning forms were incredibly easy to use and we were able to request songs that weren't already listed in the database. We didn't actually get to meet in person until the wedding day itself, but Marc was so easily accessible by email and by phone that it honestly didn't feel like that was the first day we were meeting. He worked so well with the photographer, the caterers and the representative from our venue that the whole reception was seamless and everyone had a great time. His transitions between songs were great and people were dancing all night long. (I had requested limiting slow songs to keep people on the dance floor and he definitely honored that request.) I would absolutely use Marquis Entertainment again and I would recommend Marc to anyone!

Marc DJ'd our wedding a few weeks ago and we were thrilled with his work. From his responsiveness to our first inquiry (within the day) to his accommodations for our special song requests, to his performance on the day: we were blown away. He really *got* our vibe, which I can't stress enough IS EVERYTHING. We've been to so many weddings where the music was just "off" and even though people wanted to dance, the vibe just wasn't there. I can honestly say that I've never been to a wedding with more people consistently on the dance floor than our wedding. He really understood the pacing of the night, kept the energy up, and his announcements were not cheesy at all (see "other weddings" ;). He looked great (wore our wedding colors), had an upbeat party attitude (while still totally professional) and had the perfect balance of performer while not making it about him. Would rec 100% and definitely hire again for any event.

Marc is the absolute best! He's helpful, kind, professional, and beyond accommodating! We met him at our friend's wedding in PA, and even though we live in CT we knew he'd be our dj for our wedding. Luckily it all turned into reality when Marc didn't hesitate to travel all the way to CT for our wedding! He's awesome at what he does, so do yourself a favor and hire a great dj, with a great online planning system, which is also really fun!

DJ Marquis (Mark) was recommended by our wedding planner (Cindy Condella; Condella Consulting- highly recommend!). He was great and attentive to our requests. There were some unique songs on our list and Mark was able to find and play them! He definitely read the crowd and we had everyone at the party dancing all night long! Even my uncles :)

music was an INCREDIBLY important part of our wedding. Marquis entertainment made our music goals come true! The online planning forms enabled us to pick out all the songs we wanted played from the first minute of cocktail hour to the last minute of the reception! For someone who wanted to plan every minute of their wedding, Marquis entertainment was amazing! Dj Matt Matiks did a fabulous job playing all our music and feeling the vibes of the dance floor to add in songs that perfectly fit the mood of all the guests! He did so well in fact that at the end of the night all our guests began chanting "10 more songs! 10 more songs!" I wish I could get married all over again just to be able to relive the night Dj Matt Matiks helped create!

Best. DJ. Ever.
We were referred to DJ Marquis by our photographer who had worked with him many times and were so glad we were!! He was absolutely amazing! Very helpful with any questions we had, addressed any and all of our concerns and was able to read the crowd. We didn’t want a DJ who would play the cookie cutter wedding reception playlist. We wanted someone who could read how the crowd was responding to the music and play more or less of it and keep the guests dancing. He was phenomenal at this, our guests danced so much we actually broke the dance floor and had to take a quick break for them to put it back together! Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. I would recommend him 1,000 times over!!

We had Marc DJ my daughter's Sweet 16 this past weekend. He was amazing! The girls really loved his music and how he was so open to requests. He has a great vibe and is super kind too. My husband mentioned how when it was time for the birthday cake, he ran outside to find the little ones so they wouldn't miss the cake cutting. Obviously, this went above and beyond the call of duty. It is a testament to his character too. A great entertainer and I would highly recommend him and we will use him again in the future.

DJ Marquis is absolutely the best! Not only did he make our wedding amazing, he was so great to work with from day one and made the entire process exciting. We received so many compliments during and after the wedding on what a great DJ he was. He brings so much energy and knows exactly what to play to get people on the dance floor. Once booking Marc, you have access to a huge music database in which you can plan and create playlists to fit your wedding style. If you can’t find a song in the database, Marc will find a way to get it for you. At the wedding, he does much more than just play what’s on your list. He professionally mixes your choices and adds in songs that he sees fit. He is also very aware of the crowd and what they are liking/not liking. If there are requests from the guests, he will always run it by the bride and groom first. It is easy to find a DJ who can hit play, but the professionalism and experience of DJ Marquis is what makes a difference. It truly is a craft. He went above and beyond his DJ duties and any request or idea that we had, he found a way to make it happen. He created a special “Man of Honor” mix, helped us coordinate videos to play along with our first dance and parent dances, and set up lights in our reception space and after-party tent. We can’t thank him enough for making our day spectacular. He is such a nice guy too! Wish we had more weddings to book you for!

Marc was the DJ at our 10.1.16 wedding at the Please Touch Museum. We couldn't be happier that we asked him to do so! From our initial meeting, Marc seemed to understand the vibe we were going for and made it clear that our wedding was our night and asked us several times what it was that WE wanted, which was very refreshing and much-needed! He gave amazing suggestions and ideas that we would never think of, including the last song of the night! Ask him about it!
He used the few songs that I provided for our 'dinner music' and for the dance party list, and added on to them to make the absolute perfect list! He mixed our first dance song perfectly , which both my husband and I were surprised by, and very pleasantly surprised! There is an awkward slow part in the middle of the song, and we were wondering what the heck we were going to do for that time, but DJ Marquis had already thought of it and we were so excited when we heard it cut out during out first dance :) Little things like this really made our experience with Marc amazing and one-of-a-kind! He will definitely tailor the music, and general vibe, to your unique needs and personalize the night as much as possible!
He is super fun and entertaining, while also very professional and organized. I got so many rave reviews from my guests both the night of the wedding and the week after. I received texts the next morning saying it was the best dance party ever! I do have to agree!

Marc was a great DJ at our wedding. He arrived more than on time, with a big, enthusiastic smile and played some of my old school favorites while I was getting ready. He provided an online system where I could list 'must plays,' 'if there's time/mix a few in,' and 'don't play' songs so I could customize everything prior to the wedding. I let him know ahead of time that guests could request songs (he provided that as an option). He checked in with me a few times throughout the night regarding inappropriate song requests and keeping tempo versus playing 'must haves' we listed before the event, which I greatly appreciated. All in all, he was wonderful- kept everyone on the dance floor (especially- the perfectionistic bride) and having a great time! He also took some of my favorite group shots at the end of the night at my sister's request after our photographer had left.. Highly recommend Marc!

From our first phone call I knew DJ Marquis would be absolutely fantastic and he was. He was very responsive and accommodating and willing to do whatever it took to make our day special. I needed the song I was walking down the aisle to cutdown and edited and he did it fast and well (other DJ's I'd interviewed told me that wasn't possible). His online system is easy to use and ensures the music you want will be played at your wedding. I highly recommend hiring him for your special day!

Marc (Marquis Entertainment) was our wedding DJ and he was awesome! We met in person and had a few calls before the actual wedding. Marc uses this online planning system which allowed us to select songs we absolutely wanted to hear, and those we really did not want him to play. This made it easier than having to email a list or something like that. Marc is funky, fun, and kept the party going all night long. He played the songs off our list, nothing we didn't want, and added in a few of his own that kept people of all ages dancing. He checked in with us numerous times throughout the night and gave us a heads up on key events (cake cutting coming up, last dances, etc.). The dance floor was packed all night long, with friends and family all getting down together. Plus, Marc is a really nice guy and very professional. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him!

A few years ago, when he was with a different company, Marc DJ'ed at a bar that I frequented. My friends and I would go just to hear him play because no other bars in the area played such a good collection of music. When he started up his own company and I was planning my wedding, it was fate. I knew I had to have him. Marc's pricing is extremely fair and he's great to work with. His website is full of songs and has a spot where you can add any songs he might not have that you want played and a place where you can choose all of the songs you don't want played. Music was one of the most important factors to my husband and I for the wedding as we both take music seriously and know how important music is to the mood of the night, and I knew Marc would deliver. Deliver he did! EVERY wedding guest raved about how great the music selection was and I have Marc and his abilities to thank for that. He took the extremely random types of music and songs we wanted played and somehow fit them into the evening perfectly, like usual! The dance floor was packed the entire night long. Marc's a great guy and super reliable. I knew I could give him our wants, needs and what we DIDN'T want and I could step back and he would work his magic. No stress needed. I would (and do) suggest Marc to anyone who is looking for a DJ, I'm so unbelievably happy to have found him years ago!

Marc provided excellent entertainment for our beef and beer fundraiser event. I can't tell you how many of our guests asked me where I found the DJ. First I want to say that his choice of music was fantastic. There was singing, laughing, and overall enjoyment. Our guests seemed to love song after song. He played requests when appropriate. Second I would like to say that his presentation was great, he was very professional and had great equipment such as a flat screen where he played music videos the entire time. It was great! Last I want to say that on a personal level, he was very pleasurable to talk to, he was flexible, set up and cleaned up quickly. I will most certainly use him at my next big event and recommend him to all of my friends and family. We had so much fun and I'm so glad that he offered to help us out. Did I mention he did all of this at no charge since it was a fundraiser? What a great person and a terrific DJ!

Picking a DJ for your wedding day can be extremely stressful. You want everything to be perfect and music is one of the most important things. I looked into multiple DJs and wasn't pleased with their customer service. I asked a work associate for a recommendation and that's how I found Marc. The level of professionalism, confidence, and over all genuine love for what he does sealed the deal. We had a huge excel spread sheet with songs we had picked out, but after talking to him we realized it was better to just give him genres of music because he does this all the time and we don't. We wanted him to feel out the crowd and get EVERYONE dancing not just the younger crowd but aunts, uncles, and our parents (Daddy hates dancing). We told Marc we wanted a good mix of today's hits and 70s. I thought it would be a really hard task since they are so polar opposite but Marc was literally fantastic. The absolute best part of my wedding was looking around the venue and seeing literally almost no one in their chairs. Marc is very talented at what he does. He was patient with my guests when they had requests and listened to everything we wanted. I would highly recommend Marc to anyone having a wedding or special event. Without Marc our wedding would not have been the same. The last thing I can say is you will know after a minute of talking to him on the phone that he is the right choice. He genuinely is a great person and DJ. Thanks Marc for making our day one of the best in our lives!!!!

This past February our non profit worked with the Tim Tebow Foundation to put on a Night To Shine event. It's a prom experience for those with special needs. We needed a great DJ to ensure that all 500 guests had a great time. And boy did we find one!
Marc was incredibly responsive and professional. He also did an amazing job and kept the party going! Everyone had a blast!

DJ Linx Minier, from Marquis Entertainment, was our wedding DJ this past September 12, 2015 at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel. We were incredibly specific and picky with our song list but DJ Linx played every single song we wanted to hear and more! Our wedding party and guests were on the dance floor the entire night. There was never a dull moment. He was such a pleasure to work with before and during the event. He impressed my husband and I with his kindness, professionalism and attention to detail. He even met with us twice before our wedding to go over details. He really out-did himself with the set-up, lighting and sound equipment. He created the party atmosphere we wanted. We could not recommend DJ Linx more!!

He took the time to get to know us as a couple and customize our wedding play list to fit the ambiance of the evening. His transitions between songs were flawless and he never missed a beat. Where to begin,
Our DJ Marc was the straight awesome. Its almost impossible not to have an exciting wedding. He was making sure everyone had a great time. I think just about everyone at our wedding was like your DJ is awesome.
We had an outside wedding at Valley Green Inn which is an amazing venue to begin with. The absolute funniest thing happened when he was getting people outside of the venue pavilion to sing along with the the music.
Overall I would recommend Marc. I've been to a lot of weddings in the past but I have never been to a wedding with this much energy before. It was fun our guests had fun and before we knew it the wedding was over.
If I ever need a DJ I know where to go.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having DJ Marquis provide MC and DJ services for our wedding on August 1st, 2015. From the moment we booked with him till our last dance of "Shout!", DJ Marquis was nothing short of amazing, professional, and engaging. When we began looking for our DJ, we had difficulty finding someone who truly had a passion for not only the music in which we were interested, but also personally invested in the atmosphere and mood of our wedding. DJ Marquis was always available for our many questions and had a HUGE selection of songs in his web-based database to choose from when planning out our playlists on his website (if he didn't have a song, he was able to get it without any problems). Wedding planning can become very overwhelming, but DJ Marquis made everything so easy for us. During our reception, he was able to get all of our guests out of their seats and dancing all night long. We hired DJ Marquis for our wedding. I knew after seeing him dj my sister's wedding that he would be a perfect fit for ours. He had an amazing upbeat, energentic, friendly personality. He never played a song request without coming to myself or my husband first and ok-ing it with us and I loved that! He also involved my 2 small children by having them be "guest djs". My kids were thrilled! I would highly recommend him and would absolutely use him again in the future if I'm ever in need of a dj!

Marc was the best all day!
Not only is he super cool and approachable, but the music mix fit the couple perfectly! He didn't just stand back with a pair of headphones on the whole time though. He truly made the night unique by being incredibly involved with the crowd and hyping the party up. To be honest, it was the most fun wedding I have ever been to, thanks in part to the NON STOP dance floor that went on from the minute the last dinner fork was dropped.

There truly are not enough stars on this review to describe how much we appreciate what DJ Marquis was able to do and bring to our wedding experience. Our venue was an actual music venue and many people wondered if we'd have a band and when they heard we had a DJ they were hesitant. Once they saw and experienced Marqui they totally got it and were thrilled! He kept our dance floor packed the whole night playing songs that brought generations of all ages together! The flow from song to song, and the mixes he was able to blend were great! You can honestly see how much he loves what he does! I would have him play any event from now on that we need a DJ for! Thanks again for all you did on our big night!

DJ Marquis was hands down the best DJ we could have dreamt of having at our June 2015 wedding. He spent time getting to know us as a couple to learn what music we liked and what feel we wanted for our day. He took time during the wedding to personally introduce himself and let me pick his tie, such an amazing human being with true talent and passion. He kept our guests entertained and had everyone off their feet! His DJ skills are beyond compare and his transitions between music were brilliant. I would highly recommend DJ Marquis for any entertainment needs! 2 thumbs wayy up!

That special day is defined by so many factors, a big part of ours was getting the music right from beginning to end. Marquis Entertainment are on point, Marc played a huge part in ensuring that the memories we took away from the day will be replayed over and over again. Highly recommended...!!
