We were absolutely thrilled to have Tyson as our DJ! From start to finish, he was incredibly detail-oriented, ensuring that everything was exactly how we imagined. There were so many thoughtful touches he added that I never would have thought of, which made a world of difference in the overall experience.
The audio quality on our wedding day was outstanding; every song sounded fantastic, and the flow of the reception was seamless. He expertly navigated transitions and kept the energy up, making sure every moment felt connected and enjoyable.
I genuinely believe he elevated our guests' experience, keeping everyone engaged and having a great time. His professionalism and class truly set him apart as a high-end vendor. If you’re planning a wedding in Iowa, you absolutely need to hire him! Thank you for making our special day unforgettable! -

Amazing service. Tyson is great to work with and sets you up with everything you need to decide on for your big day. The app is so easy to use and was so helpful for organizing the music. He also has such fun add on's like cold sparks, CO2 machines and great uplighting. Highly recommend. -

Marquee Events
Tyson was very easy to work with. He was able to set up our audio for our ceremony exactly how we wanted it to be. It was important for us to get to know our vendors and he made effortless. My husband and I enjoyed our DJ and would recommend him to all couples. His set up is absolutely beautiful and looked amazing in photos as well!

Great party!!
Tyson was so wonderful; from the initial meeting to wedding day, he paid close attention to detail and made sure to answer any of our questions thoroughly. His guidance was certainly appreciated when it came to choosing songs for our wedding. Tyson did our ceremony sound, as well as our reception. We added cold sparklers to our package and they were quite the surprise for our guests. His set up is exquisite and perfect for any location! We still receive compliments on how smoothly our ceremony flowed into cocktail hour then the reception, and how FUN our day was. Tyson absolutely knocked it out of the park and we cannot thank him enough for making our day a wonderful memory for not only us, but everyone that attended. We would absolutely book Tyson again, and recommend him to anyone who wants their wedding to be fun for people of all ages! -

Tyson with Marquee Events was so accommodating throughout our entire wedding planning experience. He was so easy to talk to, helpful and he truly wanted to bring our vision to life. An emcee and music are key components of your guests' experience and vital to moving your wedding night along. We trusted Tyson completely with those responsibilities. He was professional, warm, positive and a ton of fun! My husband and I, along with our family and friends, thoroughly enjoyed the entire reception, thanks to Tyson/Marquee Events. I also need to mention is modern, chic set up. Fit for any venue, Tyson ensures his set up isn't an eye sore, which I really appreciated! -

Upscale & fun DJ
Working with Tyson was great. He was super flexible and was easy to meet with via FaceTime or to get ahold of by text or email as we were planning our wedding from out of state. We were looking for someone that had upscale equipment that also wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb. The ceremony sound, music, timing was perfect. He played great music the whole night, combining the likes of both the bride and the groom. It was such a fun and memorable after party with a huge thanks to Tyson! -

From the get-go, we knew Marquee Events was a perfect fit. Tyson jumped on a Zoom call with us almost immediately after our inquiry to get an idea of the vision we had for our wedding and reception. The party element was super important to us, so we knew we needed to book someone who would make sure the night lived up to the hype we created in our minds.
Tyson did just that and then some. I cannot emphasize how much he absolutely KILLED IT! We went all out for our wedding — cold spark machines, CO2 cyro jets, and a "dancing on the clouds" production for our first dance. To this day (months later), we still get compliments from friends and family of all ages and music tastes, on how amazing our DJ was and our wedding was the best they've ever been to. From hyping up the crowd during our grand entrance with a bridal party roast, to turning our dance floor into a mini music fest with all the amazing light effects and enhancements (it genuinely felt like a rave)... Tyson was an absolute force to be reckoned with. He kept our dance floor packed with our guests on their feet all night long. Not to mention, he gave my husband and I the opportunity to DJ a full song towards the end of the night — how cool is that?!?
Everything Tyson delivered was EXACTLY what we were going for, but know he is completely customizable and experienced in whatever atmosphere you're envisioning. He is professional, courteous, efficient and thorough, and all in all a damn good time.
Do not think to look elsewhere — book with Marquee Events and this aspect of your day will be phenomenal! -

Exceptional DJ
We met Tyson at the Des Moines bridal show. I fell in love with his sleek, classy, white set up and sealed the deal with his cold sparks. He went out of his way to meet with my venue coordinator to make sure I could use the cold sparks. Tyson is very professional, responsive to all inquiries throughout the process, and has an easy to use app to collaborate. Day of he was at the venue early setting up and checking in. His set up EXCEEDED my expectations. The lights he used throughout the venue were the addition I didn't know I needed. Tyson kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening with a playlist that is still being raved about! If you want an epic party Marquee Events is you DJ! -

Book Tyson with Marquee Events!
I can't recommend Tyson with Marquee Events enough! His good reviews and classy, clean set up are what sold me initially to reach out to him. From beginning to end, Tyson was super easy to work with, reliable, and professional. Our wedding was at Harpors Vineyard, his first time at the venue and he pulled everything off flawless from the announcements, songs, lighting, and those sparklers (a must add!). Our family, friends, and vendors were raving about him all night. His style and setup fit so well with Harpors in keeping with the classy and elegant look. You will get nothing but the best service when working with Tyson. -

An amazing wedding DJ! Highly recommend!
Tyson was so easy to work with! We love the fact that he DJ’ed in college and came back to the business later in life. We knew he had the experience and skills to make our day perfect. He met with us multiple times before our wedding to plan out our day. On the day, he was there early to set up and didn’t bother me or my husband (which was much appreciated that morning!) and problem-solved throughout the day. He incorporated all of our wants during the reception from our anniversary dance to my husband’s fraternity sweetheart song. We also surprised our guests with our college mascot and he made the best announcement using our school fight song. The dance floor was bumping all night long! An amazing experience! -

I was completely blown away by the incredible service provided by Tyson with Marquee Events. Not only was the dance floor packed all night long, but the set up, preparation, and service was better than anything we could've imagined. It felt like we were his only clients with how much time and energy he spent making sure we felt good going into our day. Marquee Events is luxury set up AND luxury service, I can't recommend Tyson enough! -

We absolutely loved working with Tyson for our wedding! He was extremely organized, professional, and attentive to every detail. He worked with our venue and design company to make sure the dance floor and speakers were set up perfectly. His equipment is super nice and aesthetically pleasing, and he nailed the lighting. As for the music, the dance floor was packed the entire night--we couldn't ask for anything more! We felt completely at ease knowing Tyson was handling the music and lighting, and he did not let us down whatsoever. He really thought of everything and the night went so smoothly. All in all, Tyson helped make our wedding so much fun!! Cannot recommend Marquee Events enough for weddings in the Des Moines area. -

Tyson was an awesome fit out our wedding. We originally thought we were going to go without a DJ since we had a small wedding (20 people total) But I'm so glad we decided to go for it. Music makes or breaks the vibe of the whole event. And Tyson made every moment even that more magical and fun. Not to mention how he knew exactly what to play to get our family moving and dancing all night long! His set up was completely professional and even included lights to help set the mood even further. Look no further for a DJ, Tyson is the man for the job. Thank you Tyson for being a part of our big day :) -

Above and Beyond
I can’t imagine there’s a better option for DJs than Tyson/Marquee Events. Tyson was so attentive and professional. He genuinely cared to make our day perfect and special. His forethought and planning, as well as his communication with our other vendors, made the day of the wedding stress free and seamless. We also loved his greenery wall - we got so many compliments from guests on it and it made for a great photo op for guests! -
