We love Joel!

Joel is the best! He was super helpful when we needed help picking a song for our introductions. He helped make our wedding reception an unforgettable night! He was great at reading and engaging the crowd. His playlist was absolutely perfect! He kept our party going and even joined us on the dance floor several times. Joel is both personable and professional and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Best event DJ ever!

We hired Joel as our reception DJ for our wedding in May at the Roswell River Landing. Not only was the planning process through their website easy and efficient, Joel himself was so personable and guided me through timeline and song suggestions when I wasn't 100% sure what to do or pick. Joel made our reception SO FUN! I loved that he chose songs that flowed throughout the night instead of a typical club DJ that just plays upbeat song after song (although, I'm sure if that's what you wanted, Joel would accommodate that too!). He was interactive and funny, dancing with us to keep the party lively! Joel is clearly an event professional who knows what he's doing and he gave us the BEST wedding experience. My family loves Joel and stands by his services so much that we already hired him again to be the DJ for my sister's wedding next May! It was truly a no brainer. If you want a personalized, fun, and perfect reception or event music experience, choose Joel and Marquee Events!

We had Matt with Marquee as the DJ for our wedding, and he was GREAT! We talked beforehand with a lot of DJs, and he was the only one who really listened to what we wanted for our reception. He listened to not only the type of flow we wanted for the reception, but also did the ceremony as well. We were able to build a list of must-plays, nice-to-play, and do-not-play songs which helped create a super fun party. He engaged the crowd and everyone loved the music. We had a great wedding because Matt with Marquee made the party!

This is the second time we’ve used Joel with Marquee Events and the event was a huge success! Joel went above and beyond to help make sure we had everything we needed. We unfortunately, had lots of technical difficulties with the hotel equipment (NOT Marquee’s fault!) and he was there to help us make sure everything went smoothly. We also had Three Men and a Tenor perform at our event that night and he was very helpful coordinating with the group to make sure we had all the necessary equipment and that everything was good to go for the show. After the show, we had open dance floor and Joel was super engaging with the crowd and getting people to dance and have fun! The dance floor was full the whole time and lots of people made comments about how much they enjoyed having him as our DJ! Joel with Marquee Events is professional, friendly, organized, helpful, and completely on top of everything. He will definitely be our go-to guy for our future events!

Our DJ Joel was absolutely incredible! Since the wedding, so many people have mentioned to me how much fun he was. There were a lot of power issues at the venue and Joel did a great job of keeping things moving through that.

We hired Matt Frankel from Marquee Events for our wedding day and could not have been happier with our decision! Working with Matt was a wonderful experience from start to finish. He always communicated clearly and effectively leading up to the event - often offering to chat on the phone or over a video call to answer any of our questions. On the day of the wedding, not only was Matt on time, prepared, and professional, but he worked amazingly with our coordinator and us. He worked off the playlist we specified and knew all the right times to pepper in requests or something that suited well for the moment. To our surprise, he even helped coordinate with my sister (Maid of Honor) to set her up for an epic rap toast that ended up going viral!

Working with Matt honestly felt like working with a long-time friend - on your wedding day, you don't want to have to worry about anything except having the time of your life, and Matt made sure we could do exactly that. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding or event, look no further than Matt Frankel and Marquee Events - you won't be disappointed. Thanks Matt!

No need to think too much about whether to book them or not. Just book them and I promise you'll be satisfied and have an amazing time! They're the best and my husband and I had a fantastic time at our wedding!

Matt with MarqueeEvents was super easy to work with and made the whole process fun, exciting, and less of a burden than I thought it would be. All of the questions to iron out the details were well thought out and showed that they knew what they were doing. I was able to choose every song that was played, all with some helpful guidance and advice along the way. The whole thing was very professional and I would recommend these guys for any event.

Our DJ, Ben, did the most fantastic job on our wedding day. He was awesome leading up to the big day, he killed it on the big day, and he's even followed up afterwards.

He kept the entire night running smoothly and kept our guests dancing all night.

I loved every bit of working with Ben!

I can't recommend them enough! The whole process was fun and easy. You get to organize your whole play list via an easy to use website, that you can visit and tweek up to a week before the big day! Also lots of one on one consulting with a professional. It was one of the easy parts of planning the most important day of our life! Scott made our important day perfect! The dance floor stayed packed. Everyone mentioned the music!

My wife and I used Matt Frankel as our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! From start to finish he was very professional and really knew what he was doing. We cannot recommend him and Marquee Events enough.

You are most definitely making a right decision choosing this company! We could not have been happier with our DJ's performance! Not only he put in a lot of effort into helping us organize the event but also he ran the show flawlessly! His positive vibes, interactive games and excellent music selection got everybody going all night! We chose Matt for our DJ services and I am so glad we did. He was absolutely amazing. He walked us through the entire process and helped with song selection and even with the timeline for the reception. He was engaging during the reception but not too much and we felt like the music was absolutely perfect for the night. I am so beyond pleased with our DJ services for our wedding night!

I can't say enough amazing things about the Marquee Events Team! Matt was the DJ for a wedding I coordinated and he was FANTASTIC! Extremely responsive to my clients, prompt in responding to pertinent emails and was diligent in collecting all important information regarding ceremony + reception songs. On the day-of, he was on time, volunteered to help with whatever was needed, had amazing crowd intuition and kept the party going like I've never seen before. EVERYONE was out on the dance floor and my clients could not have been more pleased. HIGHLY recommend! Thanks again for everything, Matt! You are awesome!

We used Matt with Marquee Events as the DJ for our wedding, and couldn't be more pleased! Matt was flexible with meeting us for the initial consultation, which was a great sign to start. After we booked with him, his great communication and flexibility continued. We weren't sure of what songs we wanted for our reception, and Matt did a great job of helping us pick the perfect songs for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He even gave us advice on our introduction songs and last dance songs. Matt did a great job of making sure our personalities came through with the music, and that our selections were personalized. We received several compliments during and after the wedding that the music and dancing were some of the best they'd seen at a wedding! Matt also helped us with coordinating our timeline throughout the night, and he worked very well with our day-of coordinator to ensure everything went smoothly. The dancing was by far one of our favorite parts of the wedding, and we are so glad that we had Matt to make the night go smooth! We would definitely recommend Matt and Marquee Events to anyone looking for a professional, fun, DJ!

Matt with Marquee events was our DJ at our wedding and did a wonderful job. We booked Matt about 8 months before the wedding and he checked in with us every month or so to see how the planning process was going and if he could be of any help. We used Marquee Events for my 60th Birthday and Retirement Party. We had attended my niece's wedding a few months earlier and that is where we first met Scott Mikell and were introduced to his company, his professionalism and his ease at the microphone.

He really put my mind at ease about the music so that I didn't have to worry about that part of the party at all. Thank you Scott!!

We were lucky enough to be recommended Matt from Marquee Events for our NYE wedding. Matt set us up with DJ Kenton for the ultimate experience. Matt, our point man, was easily reachable throughout the year as our wedding plans would change slightly. We met with Kenton a few times so he could get a feel for our style. What we got on our wedding night was pure music perfection from DJ Kenton. We gave him our ideas, a few songs, and told him to run with it; what he did was more than we could have asked for. Our guests after the wedding kept talking about how DJ Kenton perfectly captured our genre tastes and how we wanted the night to flow from a wedding into a NYE throwdown. Everything flowed just the way we wanted it to, with some events throughout the evening changing on the fly and nothing frazzled Kenton, who was as smooth as they come. Kenton was great with our wedding party, helping us all be properly organized. He was a true professional and knows what he's doing; we asked for a party and Marquee Events nailed it.

Matt was our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing to work with from start to finish. From our first meeting, Matt was very professional but also fun and energetic. I didn't want a lot of the traditional "cheesy" wedding events, but Matt helped to ensure we had a night that both my husband and I and our guests thoroughly enjoyed. He kept things running smoothly all night and he had everyone on the dance floor with an amazing playlist. I even had a guest who said her goodbyes and was leaving, but came back because the music was just too good! I would highly recommend Matt and Marquee to anyone looking for a DJ for their event!

Matt was fantastic! He was so much fun to work with from our first meeting to the day of. We met in person to go over our thoughts and ideas and he gave us input and kept in contact throughout the planning process to just see how things were going. The day of he was absolutely amazing. He was so flexible with us and the not so amazing weather we were having. He kept the reception moving and had everyone out dancing on the dance floor.

It was hard to choose a DJ that would be entrusted to be part of "throwing a great party for our family and friends" as my wife put it since they have such a big influence on a wedding reception, from the announcements, to the music selection and most of all to the energy of the event. Meeting with Joel McGuire to hear what Marquee Events offers and being joined by Chris Horton, the DJ who would be in the hot seat, made the decision much simpler. Chris really seemed to understand what we were looking for and said that he had some ideas that he felt would add to the experience for us as well. In the time after we met we were very busy, but Chris and Joel made sure we took the time to at least choose songs for the most important moments, entering and introduction at the reception, first and last dance, cake cutting, and the like. Chris displayed a skill at fleshing out those few songs into a great musical background for a very fun reception. His game of asking the bride and groom questions while not facing each other was hilarious and got everyone into a good mood to enjoy the party. Chris did a great job of making announcements that helped everyone feel they were a part of the evening without being too intrusive. Chris also showed a flair for visual arts in placing the blue uplighting we requested like two spires of blue behind our medieval themed head table in a way that looks amazing in our wedding pictures. Many businesses make promises, but Marquee Events really delivered for us. It was great to have someone like Chris Horton with his passion and skill at making a wedding reception a fun party be a part of one of the most important days of our lives. Knowing the importance of people's wedding reception, I can say that I would strongly recommend talking to Joel from Marquee Events and have him talk to you about the style of event you are going for and see what they may offer to you.

I worked directly with Matt Frankel at Marquee Events and he was WONDERFUL! He was thorough on everything that he did and thought of every possible detail. He listened to my opinions yet provided guidance and expertise when I both needed and wanted it. He was always a breath of fresh air when I spoke to him and was always willing to help in any facet of the wedding planning process. He truly wants the day to be all about YOU and will do whatever it takes to make it the perfect experience for the bride and groom. I would highly recommend Matt for any type of event.

This was a swim party for a 15 year old and the DJ, Ryan played the best music. He interacted with the kids and we would definitely recommend him and the company.

This is the third time we have used this company and they have never disappointed!

Marquee was a blast to work with! My DJ was great and they did everything I asked. We had about 200 guests and not one of them left before the end of the night!!! Will definitely refer to my friends.

Scott was so great to work with. He was very professional. organized and made us feel comfortable from our first call to the end of the wedding. He really knows his music and production. I have done many events over the years and A/V is always the part where mistakes happen. Not so at our event! There was not a cue missed or a bad transition. He was fun on the dance floor interacting with the guests. I can't say enough about Scott and Marquee Events.

Marquee Events is an amazing company, and I highly recommend them. Kenton was the DJ for our wedding, and he was perfect and very professional. He clearly had prepared for our event rather than showing up and winging it. For the ceremony, we used a few songs that weren't on the list of songs that Marquee provided, but he found them. We wanted one of the songs to begin at a point that wasn't the beginning of the song, and Kenton nailed it.

Before the reception, he introduced himself to our wedding party and ensured that he would pronounce everyone's names correctly before he announced their entrance at the reception. He also called our parents' names when he introduced the mother/son and father/daughter dances. Many of our guests thought he was a friend of the family because of the personal touches he included throughout the night. Everything was perfect, and I am extremely pleased with the service we received.

Matt Frankel was our DJ for our elementary school (Shiloh Point Elementary, Cumming, GA) Father/Daughter dance. We felt completely comfortable knowing that such an important part of our big day was in the hands of Marquee Events. We felt extremely confident in their ability to engage our guests. They did a great job of understanding our taste in music and carrying out exactly what we wanted for our reception. The DJ was prepared and kept us reassured by bringing back up equipment in case of any technological malfunctions. We choose Marquee Events as our vendor for a Casino style holiday party. Matt was very professional, through and friendly. He promptly returned phone calls and emails. He helped with the planning and let me know how many tables we would need plus he met us at the sight in advance to discuss the set up and placement of everything. The dealers were ready to help explain the Casino gaming rules if you are a first time player. And they did not mind repeating for those of us who were a little slow catching on.
The dealers were fun, very engaged with players, and just made the over experience extremely fun. They were professional but at the same time, easy to talk to and fun to play with, we all had a great time.
I would definitely recommend!

Scott is fantastic to work with!! Preparing for the wedding is a lot of work, and we could not keep up with all the deadlines. Scott was very accommodating and understanding to work with. But, the best part was during the reception. He made everything work so SMOOTHLY. He is very professional without being invasive and exactly knows how to take care of the party. We were not expecting our guests to dance much (not that kind of crowd, we thought), but during the party, somehow the dance floor was full and everyone had a GREAT time. Hiring Scott was one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding. He is great to work with and knows how to get party going and manage the party. It turns out he worked with my cousin 6-7 years prior, and I remember having a good time at that wedding as well. He is very experienced. Two thumbs up!

I cannot recommend Joel McGuire enough. He made our reception so much fun! It was very easy to use the online tool where I was able to select specific songs I wanted for certain events (cake cutting, cocktail hour, first dance, etc.) and also songs not to play! As an added plus, all guest song requests were ran by the bride :) Joel also took the time to meet with us and further vet out our tastes so everything ran smooth. We had so much fun at the wedding and almost everyone was on the dance floor! It was a stress free experience.

We used Marquee Events for our wedding and they were amazing! I've hired DJ's before for my job and this company is by far the most professional, nice, easy to work with team. Scott, the owner, responded to my email immediately and suddenly i had a wedding DJ without having to lift a finger. I love that you get to pick songs you love, like and even songs you hate to have played {or not} at your wedding so you can make it personal to your taste. I highly recommend them for any event you are hosting!

I love Marquee Events and couldn't imagine my wedding day without them. They paid extra attention to every detail I wanted, and made sure the party was rocking all night long. Ryan Love used the request list I gave him perfectly, and even had the mic ready for me when I wanted to rap along with a couple songs myself! They even went the extra mile to make sure I had music outside on the patio of our venue and hooked up a wireless speaker. From the first meeting to the last song, Marquee Events could not of done a single thing better. If you are looking to have day to remember forever, def give Marquee a call!!!

Scott Mikell of Marquee Events did a wonderful job as DJ for my daughter's wedding. He accommodated the music my daughter and now son-in-law wanted, led the events through the evening as requested, and did it without being intrusive. Marquee Events helped me put on the best house party EVER! We did a Las Vegas casino night at my home in addition to showing the Mayweather/Pacquaio fight on Saturday, May 2nd. We booked 4 tables (craps, roulette, poker, and blackjack) with dealers for 4 hours (9pm-1am). My guests LOVED it!!! The staff was professional, engaging, fun, informative, they were on time, they set up and broke down the equipment in a timely manner, and they were even willing to teach us how to play the games (for those who had never been to Vegas or gambled). Craps was a HUGE hit!!! Blackjack and roulette did well too. Poker not so much as many guests did not know how to play. And, learning how to play poker at a party proved to be tedious.

I would definitely hire Marquee events again! Many of my guests are already talking about hosting their own casino parties soon. GREAT JOB, MARQUEE!!!

Scott was our DJ for our wedding reception. I have to say that our dance floor was packed the entire night and it was in large part to him! The lighting was great and really set the mood for a party. The price was unbeatable, and he took the time to get to know us and our style. We were able to suggest any song that we wanted beforehand and he took requests during the reception. Only two issues to be aware of:
1. A lot of our guests said that they heard a hard time hearing announcements and speeches if they were not . This could've been an issue with the speakers, however, to be fair, we did have a large venue.
2. Scott is perfect IF you plan everything you want beforehand. We had him change some things around the day of and it flustered him a little. Ex: We planned to have two songs for our dollar dance. We picked the songs and he announced it and played it when we requested. However, there were so many people who had paid and were still waiting in line when the second song ended and he announced that it was over. I told him to keep the dollar dance going and to play another song. Instead of just playing another song, he turned the music completely off while he was either looking for another song or trying to insert it into the playlist for 3 or 4 minutes and then finally he announced that we were going to change the dollar dance up a little and started playing "Shut up and Dance" - Not a good song to slow dance to.
Again, if you are a planner and expect to stick to your schedule, then this is the best DJ all around.

Our Company use this services for Holiday Casino night. I would like to say that the dealers was awesome. They explain and show everyone how to play and what to do. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we will definitely use their services again.

May Wedding

Used Kenton Meyers from Marquee. Kenton has a great personality and is super easy to get along with. He isn't the greatest at following up and checking in, but was responsive to emails when I reached out to him. The wedding setup was beautiful and he did a great job with random music tracks I sent him the week before, and with reading our crowd of people from various ages / backgrounds. Kenton really wanted to make sure the night went as I wanted it to!
