  Book with Marquee Events!

  It was an honor to have Rick Parisi DJ our wedding in February 2024. He was able to take a few genre preferences and a handful of song request and curate an unforgettable night of music. He brought the coolest ambiance to cocktail hour and best vibe to dinner. Our friends are still talking about his playlists! He has a sleek booth that creates the perfect stage to the dance floor. Even with only 40 guests, he kept us dancing all night long. Not only is he talented, but his composure and kindness made him a pleasure to work with. Truly elite - highly recommend Rick Parisi with Marquee Events.

  Incredible DJ service and personality!

  We had the pleasure of working with Marquee’s DJ, Shaun. After completing the DJ forms online through their portal, Shaun met with us to review all of the information and our timeline. Shaun was able to keep the party going all night by reading the room and making incredibly smooth transitions. He listened to our requests, shortened songs, and made sure that the microphones were always working. We received numerous compliments on the DJ throughout the night and after the party.

  Two word: book now

  IMMEDIATELY GO BOOK RICK-SERIOUSLY DO NOT CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE. Rick went above and beyond for us. When we originally booked him (a week after we got engaged and choose the wintergarden), we knew he would be amazing. When we decided we had to postpone, he was there with us every step of the way making sure he was a support. Luckily for us he was available for our new date and we didn’t have to lose out on an amazing DJ who we get to party with twice! One of my bridesmaids who was giving a speech this year was unable to attended the wedding very last minute due to COVID and I was heartbroken. Rick took control and made sure to have her set up on Zoom to be able to do her speech. Not only was she set up for the speech but he also called her early enough and set her up to be able to see the first dance and father daughter dance as she has been in my life for 13 years. He made sure she saw everything and took all my stress away. During the reception he was always asking if we needed anything even going and getting us more drinks. He also helped keep us updated on what was coming next so we were ready. We played the shoe game and not only did he read off all the questions but he made the whole game even funnier with his responses. When I saw him before I went down for the first look, he immediately complimented me and said we were going to have an amazing night. He was so energetic both him and his assistant and at the end of the night he said how excited he is to party with us really next year when we don’t have to worry about masks on the dance floor! Rick made sure at the end to thank us and say how excited he was to see everyone next year. I seriously look at Rick as a friend now and couldn’t imagine not having him be a part of our wedding and we can’t wait to party even harder with him next year

  Great vendor to work with!

  I worked with Joe G. and his assistant at a backyard wedding a few weeks ago and I can't begin to tell you how great of an experience it was. They were both flexible with the schedule and willing to lend a hand when I needed one throughout the entire event. From the first time I reached out to after the event, Joe's communication and assistance has been impeccable. They are the kind of vendors, other vendors in the wedding industry truly enjoy working with! I really hope and look forward to working with these guys again and again!

  Absolutely fantastic and memorable evening!

  I have worked with Rick and his team multiple times for Corporate events and they have always been perfection. So when my daughter was getting married, there was no question who we would be working with. We hired Rick and Evan to DJ our daughters wedding on 9/3/21. All I can say is from start to finish everything was amazing! The up-lighting, the music and the way they interacted with the crowd was beyond my expectations.   Marquee Events - Above and Beyond our expectations

  Rick Parisi was our DJ and MC for our July 2021 wedding (300 people) and we couldnt have imagined our night being as amazing without Rick.
  
  Rick went above and beyond to meet with my fiance and I to discuss our wedding day events and expectations. His expertise of music, logistics of the big day, sound systems/sound quality and excitement for our big day helped my fiance and I to feel excited and at ease. We could tell right off the bat that we were in good hands. Rick was so flexible and accomodating when we decided to have a solo instrumentalist play along with him. He met with myself and the instrumentalist prior to the wedding to talk about logisitics and the overall vibe. Rick went above and beyond to helped the instrumentalist (sax) hook up to his system and work together as a team. I was so impressed by the willingness and excitement Rick had when it came to trying out this idea.
  
  We couldnt imagine our night being as fun as it was without Rick and Marquee events. Our expectations were blown away because of how amazing Rick was...he was a pro at grabbing our large crowd's attention and annoucning all of the important moments on our wedding night.
  
  Our friend's and family's energy level were through the roof because of Rick's ability to read the crowd. Not a day goes by that I dont think about our wedding day and night. My fiance and I are forever grateful for the efforts that were put into making our wedding day a dream come true. I wish I could give Marquee events and Rick Parisi more than just 5 stars. He is someone that will go above and beyond for you on your wedding day and you will be left feeling at ease knowing you are in good hands. I cannot praise him enough for his management of a very large wedding and wedding party, his ability to read the room and pull songs/music together that allowed us to continue to dance the night away. Rick will be my recommendation to all my friends and family and I hope to use Marquee events again in the future!!!

  Shaun worked our July ceremony & wedding and we could not be happier. He took all our requests prior so we didn't have to worry about any of our favorites not being played. He kept the dance floor alive throughout the night, family and friends all stayed dancing until the end!

  I chose Rick and his team for our wedding based on prior experiences and they did not disappoint. My wife and I did not have to worry about a single thing the whole night. Rick checked in on us to make sure everything was going perfectly and adjusted to anything we asked on the fly. Not only did we think it went perfectly, we received numerous compliments about the music throughout the ceremony and reception. Marquee has found a customer for life and I will recommend them to anyone that wants their event to run as smooth as possible.

From our ceremony music to the after party, I received compliments all night long about how awesome the music was. He stepped in when I really needed him and we couldn't be happier with the atmosphere he created for our day. His positive energy truly set the tone and he created one of the best parties of my life.   Awesome from start to finish!

  Easy to work with , very responsive and kept our dance floor filled all night long! We worked with Shawn and he was awesome at keeping the night going at a good pace with none of those awkward pauses you see all too often at weddings! The photo booth was also really fun and good quality prints!

  Marquee events was just what we needed for our special day!! We had Shaun and he was outstanding! He made our day so easy and one that we will never forget. Shaun was personable and energetic, he fit in like part of our family.

  Rick Parisi was our DJ for our wedding on 8.24.19! He was amazing and met with us prior to the wedding to go over all details or questions we had. The worksheet forum they use is easy to access so you and your DJ can make changes. Rick was able to take charge of our rowdy wedding party to go over the details prior to announcing them to our guests so they knew what the line up was going to be. Kept the dance floor packed all night! Our guests ranged from mid 20s- late 70s and everyone loved Rick! He also checked in throughout the night including checking if we wanted the song to be changed for cake cutting while the dance floor was packed or if we wanted them to continuing dancing which was very thoughtful and I know most DJ’s wouldn’t have thought to ask and was flexible with our timeline that was pushed out a bit from sunset photos! We would hire Rick again and again!! Five stars!

  Rick Parisi was our DJ for our wedding on 8/17/19 and he beyond met our needs and expectations. Rick is top notch at what he does. He can read the room and can adjust to meet your needs and get everyone up and on their feet. He made the process super easy and was very accommodating. You will not be disappointed with Marquee Events or Rick Parisi! He is extremely talented and brings a high end touch to events! I would highly recommend them and use them again at other events!

  Rick was great! upstanding guy and business man, great values and attitude. He made my wedding night even more than great! He was interactive and fun, he kept the guests entertained and even played a closing song requested by our 6 year old flower girl! 100% would recommend the Marquee team to anyone and will for sure book them again for the next major event!

  Marquee events was outstanding

  Shaun Lewis was our DJ and the dance floor was full all night. He did a phenomenal job of reading the crowd as well as our style as the Bride and groom and he played the perfect mix of songs. We couldnt ask for anything more. He kept the flow of the wedding right on time and made sure our guests had a ton of fun. Rick was top notch when arranging all the wedding details and responding to our emails. We couldnt have been happier with our choice and I would highly recommend Marquee events for any occasion.

  Pound-for-pound greatest

  Just wow. Rick is amazing. Right from the beginning, he was so approachable and welcoming. He was very responsive to our questions and concerns leading up, and he was clearly one of the most knowledgeable professionals we encountered the whole day. He knew exactly when to tell us adjustments needed to be made to fit our vision, and it made our prep work so simple and frustration-free. Even if he was terrible on the actual day of our wedding, just the work he put in before hand would've earned him five stars. Of course, he wasn't terrible, though. On the day of the wedding, he got even better! Like most weddings I know of, ours was busy and bustling the whole time, and Rick was great about finding us and checking in with us about the flow and our plans. Hell, he even saw me getting a little fired up at one point, asked me what was going on, and he actually went and dealt with it while I continued to celebrate with my friends and family. Everyone was dancing the whole night, the formalities and introductions were all great, and he was one of the top factors in helping create the best days of our lives. The only hiccup we noticed all night was that a speaker plug seemed to get pulled out during our introduction, so it was tough to hear a name or two for about 30 seconds, but out of an 8-hour day, I'll chalk that one up to one of my guests probably messing it up and him immediately fixing it. Of course, he wasn't the cheapest option we looked at, but he was absolutely competitively priced alongside all the other DJs, but offered so much more, especially in terms of experience and expertise. He was also great about working within our budget and not pushing us to upgrade things we had no interest or need for. Rick Parisi should be enshrined in the wedding DJ hall of fame for his work, and anyone looking for the best should go with him.

  Perfection

  Rick and his team went above and beyond to help make our wedding day perfect. His website is an excellent planning tool. Sounds quality was great. Uplighting was beautiful. Our guests had a blast with the photo booth. Rick took the time to meet with us in person before our event and go over every detail. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! - AS+MS

  I can not say enough about Rick. He was beyond amazing. He made my day so easy, simple and beyond enjoyable! Raving about him and our wedding! We had the perfect day and he contributed 100% to our perfect day! He went above and beyond what we could have asked for. Complements from our guests as well. We have been told our entrance into the reception was the best anyone has ever seen. We are beyond thankful and if we had to do this day 100 times over again we would do it with him 100 more times! Thank you so much for being yourself, being receptive and seeing our vision with our even having to explain a lot!
