  Great energy and professionalism

  We hired Marky for a gala afterparty and he did a fantastic job keeping the energy up and integrating a variety of music styles to suit the event demographics. He was very communicative both to us (event planning company) and the other entertainment vendors and we would happily work with him again.

  Intuitive, professional and responsive

  Marky captured the mood, setting and vibe of us and our guests. He has a good process of understanding what you want and envision the music to be. He is also very professional and down to earth! We were beyond happy and grateful for his services.

  Good news, your search for a DJ is over! Marky is just flat out the best DJ around. Seriously. In the hectic swirl of wedding planning, he was a source of steady calm. He made the whole process effortless and easy and when it came to the big day, he killlllllled it. Marky knows how to keep the dance floor packed the whole night. He can tailor the music to your guests with almost preternatural instinct. If you need an MC, Marky strikes the perfect balance. He brings excitement and energy, with zero cheesy MC vibes. Just an amazing experience had by all. Book Marky!

  DJ Marky was exactly what we wanted!

  From the start we were looking to have a fun/free-flowing vibe for our wedding night and DJ Marky gave us exactly that. Marky was extremely responsive to our emails and made time to talk through our plan to fully understand exactly what vibe we wanted. On the night of the wedding, everyone there had so much fun dancing the night away while DJ Marky curated the perfect songs all night. Would highly recommend him for any event in the future.

  Perfect in every way

  Marky took a great party and elevated it to transcendence. He was extremely thoughtful and communicative beforehand about the music and the vibe we wanted, and man did he deliver. Everyone was dancing, even people who later told me "I never dance." We had so much fun and got exactly what we wanted. Thanks Marky!

  Marky is the best!

  We hired Marky for our wedding celebration/dance party at the Moongate lounge and he was absolutely amazing. Every step of the way he gave the perfect combo of guidance and flexibility to us, and put us completely at ease. All his communications were prompt, clear, and professional and his price felt very fair (he also gave a great cost breakdown with his quote, which was awesome).
  
  As for the music, he managed to perfectly tie together our disparate requests spanning modern and throwback hits, R&B, and 80s/synth classics. We seriously can't recommend him enough!

  Knows where the energy is going before you even do!

  Marky is incredible! He could sense where the crowd's vibe was going and play songs that kept people on the dance floor and energy high! I was so impressed at his ability to blend every type of genre, musical era, and hits so that everyone was into it. For the entirety of our office party, people were raving about him. I couldn't recommend him enough for your party (of any kind). I was especially grateful for his knowledge and expertise of what kind of space we were trying to create. He was very intentional in his selections and his process for gathering song requests from us was perfect. Not only was his DJing amazing, but he was also responsive, kind, and professional. 5 stars through and through!

  We will definitely work with Marky again!

  Marky was fantastic, great playlist and was able to not just DJ the event but also was partly the EMC. He was able to pump up the guest at the right time, you know you have an awesome DJ when even the caterers and servers are grooving to the music!

  The Best DJ!!

  Marky was so amazing to work with! When we initially met with Marky, we instantly clicked and knew he would be the DJ for us. He was open to our music choices and worked with us to incorporate our personal touches. We were constantly receiving praises all night (and after!) of how wonderful he was! We can't recommend him enough - would book him again and again!

  Marky was very kind and easy to work with. He gave us expert knowledge and tips going into the planning process, and made sure we felt comfortable with his and our music selections.   We hired Marky for our wedding events after both my sister and my cousin hired him for theirs. We honestly couldn’t recommend him enough!
  
  Marky is awesome. He can read the room perfectly and people couldn’t stop dancing! Many of our guests mentioned how much fun they had because of how great the music was. He also can play music across cultures (ours was an Indian wedding). Also, he’s really professional and can deal with changes day of (timeline, weather, etc). Leading up to the wedding he was super responsive and easy to work with.

  Top Notch Professional With Good Taste

  Marky did a killer job from beginning to end. I sent him an overview of our tastes and he played lots of our favorite songs that we didn't even ask him to play. We requested a lot of dirty music, but he tactfully waited for the right time to play it. Throughout the event he checked in with us to see if he needed to make adjustments. He was a total professional that brought in some great tunes and "mashed" them with each other in a way that went beyond just fading in and out from one song to the next. I've never seen my mom dance so hard.

  Excellent - one of the wedding's highlights!

  We loved having Marky as our DJ. He worked closely with us to figure out the finer details including procession music, grand entrance, etc., but we only gave him a rough outline for the type of vibe and music we wanted for the reception. He nailed it! We've received multiple compliments from guests that the music was excellent and the dance party went right up until the very end. Highly recommended!

  If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding/event, please consider DJ Marky! I was helping my sister plan her wedding and she was supposed to get married Aug 2020, but due to COVID we had to push it out...then we had to push it out again because of COVID restrictions then again! I felt really bad for sister due to stress COVID caused in planning her wedding but Marky was with us every step of the way. He was so accommodating and flexible with the many changes to the date. He was very responsive and professional with every interaction. During the wedding, he played many styles of songs to accommodate all age ranges. We received compliments of the DJ and song play list afterwards, so we were very pleased. Thank you again Marky for everything you have done for us!

He was incredibly easy to work with and helped guide us through the process of determining a timeline, choosing songs for important moments, and figuring out what was a top priority for us. We were somewhat unconventional in the things we wanted/didn't want at the wedding and he was completely supportive and gave us advice that made it so much easier to figure out what to do. Marky has extensive musical knowledge so we could give him a few example songs and a vibe and he was able to develop a plan for how to meet that. We weren't sure how things would go with such a small wedding, but he was able to adjust to the crowd and find exactly the right songs and flow throughout the evening to keep people dancing.   Marky saved the day by throwing down a set for a party we threw together last minute. He showed up a day early to verify the equipment, was all prepped and ready to go before we kicked it off, and then threw down an amazing set - couldn’t of asked for a better experience!!

  We had seen Marky DJ at multiple events in San Francisco prior to hiring him for our wedding. He was as great at those events as he was for our special day. We had a smaller wedding, but the dance floor was still packed once he started to play. Thanks so much, Marky! you're the best!

  Awesome wedding DJ!

  DJ Marky Enriquez aka Proof was a fantastic DJ! He came recommended by a friend and our entire experience working with him was exceptional, from start to finish. His response time was very fast (under one hour). He was very transparent with his pricing, which was very reasonable for the services he was offering. He met with us beforehand to understand our tastes in music and goals for each part of our wedding night, and tailored the music and sound to our preferences. He was also able to put us at ease that he could deliver, because he is experienced and already knew our venue, so he knew exactly what we would need for our ceremony, our reception and our dancefloor in terms of equipment and set-up. He was professional and a pleasure to work with. And most importantly, on our wedding day he really delivered! The ceremony sounded lovely and was well executed, he set a nice vibe for the reception dinner, and the dancefloor was bumpin! 10/10 would recommend.

  DJ Marky Enriquez aka Proof was a fantastic DJ! He came recommended by a friend and our entire experience working with him was exceptional, from start to finish. His response time was very fast (under one hour). He was very transparent with his pricing, which was very reasonable for the services he was offering. He met with us beforehand to understand our tastes in music and goals for each part of our wedding night, and tailored the music and sound to our preferences. He was also able to put us at ease that he could deliver, because he is experienced and already knew our venue, so he knew exactly what we would need for our ceremony, our reception and our dancefloor in terms of equipment and set-up. He was professional and a pleasure to work with. And most importantly, on our wedding day he really delivered! The ceremony sounded lovely and was well executed, he set a nice vibe for the reception dinner, and the dancefloor was bumpin! 10/10 would recommend.

  You cannot go wrong with Marky

  We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than Marky. I corresponded with several before finally stumbling onto him. He was engaged, committed to making our reception amazing, gave me homework to give him an accurate sense of our tastes, and was open changes (to the point of accepting txt messages with requests and timeline changes).
  
  I consider myself a music nerd, and Marky more than delivered. Not many are up to the task of seemlessly blending soul, country, wedding classics, and even sneaking in the occasional hip hop I asked for.
  
  My wife and I cannot recommend him enough. He's even better than advertised.

  Excellent!

  Going into the last week of my wedding planning, I was pretty stressed out with all the unfinished details. There were constant texts, emails, and phone calls from so many people and to be honest, I had reached my max in patience. Marky was that vendor who was calm, kind, polite, and respectful in all the communication with me and husband. And I very much appreciated that. And he was an excellent DJ. The guests had so much fun dancing and we had so much fun.
