Mark is incredible! 5-stars.

Mark is incredible! He was recommended by our wedding venue and had DJed our friend's wedding a few years back.

As part of the process, Mark shares an online planner that makes it simple to request specific "must-play" songs as well as any songs that you do not want played during the event.

During our live call, Mark made several suggestions about various aspects of the wedding that we hadn't even thought of, for instance, the song we wanted our wedding party to walk down the aisle to, the song that would play after our ceremony finished, the cocktail hour music vs. dinner music, and more. He also provided recommendations & suggestions to help perfect our timeline.

Mark was energetic, communicative & responsive, and he was flexible to a few last-minute changes the day of the wedding. He was truly able to read the room/crowd. We felt very comfortable with him throughout the process, especially the day-of. All of our friends & family raved about Mark's emceeing as well as the music that he played.

Finally, his pricing was also very reasonable and included uplighting! We would highly recommend Mark for your next event!

Perfect DJ for a perfect wedding

Mark was spectacular. Very smooth, very easy to deal with. The dance floor was hopping and he was just so friendly without coming off like a gameshow host. Very authentically a nice guy. I got tons of compliments on his work. Hightly recommended.

Hire DJ Mark!!!

Mark is even better than 5 stars! We hired Mark to DJ and MC our wedding and he exceeded all expectations. Leading up to the wedding, Mark was always available to answer our questions and help with the overall flow of the reception. Throughout the reception and the day after, we constantly had family and friends come up to us to tell us how good the DJ was and how impressed they were that he curated a vibe for all ages and not just the younger guests. In addition to providing musical entertainment for the evening, Mark acted as a planner for the reception, making sure we didn't miss any components and allotted ample time to all our key moments. Mark truly went above and beyond when 2 weeks before the wedding we asked if he could provide us with a speaker and microphone for our Welcome Dinner without any issues. I would STRONGLY recommend Mark for any event and hope I get to attend a wedding he djs in the future!

Simply The Best

Mark did a truly amazing job MC'ing & DJ'ing our wedding. From our first meeting, Mark understood what we were looking for and exceeded expectations. He helped us refine the vibe that we wanted in our entire wedding, from guest arrival, dinner music, to the dance floor. We had our brother in law (who does not usually do weddings) play keyboard during our ceremony and first dance and Mark seamlessly connect the piano to his system and ensured we had the correct connections for the model we had provided. Mark is the ultimate professional, his charisma and commitment to ensuring not only us but our guests had an amazing evening. Highly recommend Mark for any event, can't wait to work with him again!

Mark was the best DJ/MC we could have possibly wanted for our wedding! We had big dreams for our wedding reception, and Mark pulled through in a huge way. My husband and I put together a super elaborate trivia game with sound, music, and lighting cues – and Mark absolutely went above and beyond to make it a smashing success. Need a DJ? Book Mark Addington!! We met Mark through close friends who booked him for their wedding. We reached out and were immediately impressed with his energy, knowledge, professionalism, and attentiveness. We were blessed to see Mark in action at our friends' wedding several months later. Mark was brilliant from start to finish!!

Mark was helpful and amazing throughout our process. On our big day, Mark brought his "A" game. He checked in with the officiant and wedding party before the ceremony and assisted our coordinator throughout the night. We trusted Mark with the dance music, and Mark did not disappoint. Best DJ EVER!! Highly Recommend!

Mark is so easy to work with. He is organized and has a portal where you can input all your party information, songs, and vendors. He is professional and makes all your instagram/pintrest inspo come true. We just told him what vibes we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and he delivered! He was keeping the party alive throughout the night with the inpromptu song requests from friends while maintaining the atmosphere of the wedding we wanted. He was just as excited as we were for our big day as both of us are huge disney fans. I felt like he understood us as a couple and gave us really great suggestions. He was great at MCing as well and made the night flow seamlessly. My wedding party has names that are difficult to pronounce and he perfected each one of them. Mark is awesome, professional and provided amazing services throughout the whole day. All my guests said they had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend him to anybody who is looking for someone to make their wedding planning and day less stressful.

The Party Is in Great Hands With Mark

We were first introduced to Mark via word of mouth and we are so happy to have stuck with this decision. He was extremely attentive, fun, and professional throughout the entire process leading to our event.
During our preparation, we communicated with Mark a few times over email, phone and zoom to share our ideas and refine details. He is extremely positive and was open to our suggestions. Whether it was playing music related to movie soundtracks, pop culture, or K-pop, he was more than willing to have fun with us. His attention to detail also did not go unnoticed as he would also make sure that he finds the specific versions of songs that you request.
He was also extremely helpful with adjusting music as well. For example, we wanted to cut a section out and slow down our first dance song. He was able to do this for us perfectly and also helped provide a copy of the file for us to practice. These may be small details but were important to us.
Ultimately, you cannot go wrong with working with Mark. He was absolutely amazing at what he does and will do everything that he can to make your dream event come true! Thank you, Mark. We are so happy to have worked with you.

Our Wedding at The Ranch in San Jose

If there was ever someone batting a thousand in life it is Mark Addington. For those of you unfamiliar with the baseball phrase, it means he gets hits every time he is up to the metaphorical plate, and this guy is for sure hitting home runs! Sports terminology aside my wife and I adore this man. We had the pleasure of meeting him at a few of the numerous weddings we have been to and immediately locked him in the moment I proposed to my then-girlfriend. Incredible

Mark was the absolute BEST DJ. From the moment we chose him, up until the last second of the wedding night he was ON IT! He is very organized, personable, and outgoing which are all the qualities you want in a wedding DJ. We had a venue with the bar in a different room, so that is hard to keep people dancing ... but Mark worked his magic and had people in the dance floor all night! Mark was amazing!

For starters, he was super helpful with everything from start to finish! Gave a lot of ideas and tips for the night but was very reseptive of what we wanted and how we wanted it accomplished. During the event was just as great as he had everyone ready for us and kept the dance floor going all night. Absolutely Phenomenal

We booked Mark for our wedding and he was FANTASTIC! From the moment we had our first introduction call to the day of, his energy was high, his dedication was unwavering and his attention to detail was impeccable.

I also want to highlight how great his communication was. When planning a wedding, it's really stressful when you work with vendors who don't respond right away and Mark never dropped the ball. He commented on how flexible he was as far as being involved as little or as much as we wanted when it came to the music and being MC for our event. And this is something I really appreciated as I was overseeing so many details that I was feeling overwhelmed at having to choose all the music and manage the pacing of the wedding but he really jumped in enthusiastically, ready to tackle whatever we needed. During our 2nd call in particular, he was so well organized and asked many questions that my husband and I hadn't even thought of so that really helped build our trust that he would handle everything day of without any issue.

A lot of my guests were impressed that the MC at our wedding was also the DJ because of how well he multi-tasked. Music was very important to me, particularly the dance playlist and in our first call, Mark had said that his goal at the end of the night, was to have our guests saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to and that they didn't want the party to end. Well, I can confidently say that he nailed it! Cannot say enough about how happy we were with Mark and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ/MC!

His online portal, complete with a user-friendly template for selecting songs for different moments during the wedding, made the entire process so simple and stress-free. We were able to curate our ideal playlist with ease, and Mark was always there to offer guidance and suggestions when needed.

AMAZING DJ! Got our vision and executed perfectly

Mark was amazing to work with and made our Aug. 19 wedding so incredibly special. From our initial conversation I knew he would be a good fit . We were a bit insane and gave him a playlist of about 6 hours of music, ranging from oldies to Reggaeton, to dance music, to classic rock to work with. Mark understood our vision perfectly and somehow made it all fit seamlessly together. Our goal was to spend as much time on the dance floor as possible, and I was excited to see people that normally don’t dance out there.

Each time we spoke with Mark leading up to the wedding, we felt so secure in our choice. There’s sooo much more to what a DJ does than just play your music. They set the vibe and quite literally move the event along. Considering how much goes into pulling off a wedding, our vendors made it unbelievably easy for us to sit back and enjoy our night — Mark was a major part of that, and we can’t recommend him enough.

Mark Addington was the best DJ and Emcee we could have asked for!

Mark was incredible to work with. Right off the bat he was clear and organized and was friendly and professional. He told us that his top priority was to help us have the best wedding, just the way we want. The process could not have been simpler with the form Mark had us fill out with all our special songs. This helped keep things clear and organized and made it all simple! We provided Mark with a playlist and he took that and just really understood the sorts of things we like, and he was able to fill that out and also read the crowd and did a great job playing certain songs at certain times!
His sound system was great, of course for dancing but also all of the microphones and speakers for the ceremony music and for speeches. Everything sounded great!
We told Mark that dancing was important to both of us and that we wanted it to be a great time at the wedding. He did an excellent job making that happen! He is a great DJ and Emcee and truly we could not have had a better time working with him. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Mark was THE BEST Wedding DJ!

Hiring Mark to DJ our wedding was THE BEST decision we could have made. Starting with our very first phone call with Mark, he did a great job of understanding our vision to have a fun wedding/reception and he delivered!

Not only did Mark do a great job of keeping the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT with our guests aged 21-75, he was the perfect emcee throughout the entire day. Even with a last second venue change due to weather, our reception went off seamlessly. Most importantly, he made sure all our guests were aware of the "big moments" (cake cutting, first dances, etc.) throughout the night.

Whether you're looking for someone to DJ/host a wedding, a birthday, or corporate event, Mark is sure to exceed expectations!

Best DJ Ever

We just had our wedding this last weekend (in Mill Valley) with Mark, an exceptional DJ. From start to finish, Mark's candor on the phone leading up to the wedding during our first meeting was superb, and made us feel immediately like this was the right man for the job. Mark also has a deep deep knowledge of music (house, latinpop, salsa, disco...whatever) and we needed mark to help bridge the gap between my now wife's latin/jewish family and my jewish/ashkenazi family not to mention all of our friends who are not jewish or latin.

Mark's professionalism, talent, and ability to keep the dance floor absolutely rocking all night long (from 7 - 12) made our reception unforgettable. His infectious energy, and seamless coordination with the venue and other vendors were truly impressive. Mark's easy-going nature and responsiveness made the planning process a breeze. He was the easiest vendor to work with of anyone we had at the wedding, and you can tell he is super super experienced at making sure the event and planning flows smoothly and clearly.

We highly recommend Mark for his ability to create an electric atmosphere anywhere! And we will be booking him again in the future.

Best Wedding DJ/ MC EVER!

Mark was the DJ/ MC for our wedding in October of last year. We truly could not have asked for a better all around experience. Mark was incredibly responsive, easy to talk to, accommodating, and best of all SO EXCITED to be a part of our wedding. As we discussed our playlist and day of events schedule Mark made us feel that he was genuinely excited for all of our ideas and that just made us even more excited and at ease for our coming wedding day. I had no idea how important having an organized MC was until our wedding day came along and Mark did the best job keeping the days events flowing, directing guests, and keeping us on schedule. He played all the music we asked for and had everyone up, dancing, and having a great time. On top of that, he lended a helpful hand with other little details like tracking down the sparklers at the end of the day or pulling the sun shades when he noticed it shining in our eyes at the head table. The best DJ around

Mark is absolutely amazing!!! He rocked the house for us at our wedding this past Sunday. He made sure to include our requested songs and his transitions were flawless. He's patient and kind and caring and you can definitely tell that he loves what he does and boy does he do it well. We even have people asking for a playlist. He's a kick ass MC as well. Amazing Wedding DJ

We can not thank you enough Mark, for the incredible DJ/ MC service you provided for our Wedding . The music was perfect, and I can’t tell you how many compliments we had from all of our guests. We appreciated the opportunity to sit down with you a couple times prior to our wedding to go over all our details with our music selection. Mark was incredible! He listened to our ideas, offered his suggestions, and assured us that our wedding would be a party to remember. Mark, went above and beyond for our perfect day, and for that we'll be forever grateful. He orchestrating our music for our ceremony, creating a perfect atmosphere for our cocktail hour and dinner, and my heart felt Father Daughter dance, then an amazing reception atmosphere. More than everything, our guests had a very memorable experience. When you have a DJ that perfectly sets the mood for your evening and reads the crowd to make sure they have the time of their lives, at the end of the evening, you end up with a wedding to remember!

The best dj/mc ever!

A great MC/DJ is VITAL for any wedding reception. They set the tone of the entire event; they make sure all timelines are meant in a reasonable time; and they keep the party going for as long as our guests have the energy to dance the night away. So when it was time to find our perfect DJ/MC for our long-awaited wedding, I scoured countless of websites, reviews, and recommendations until I landed on Mark Addington.

From our very first phone call, I knew Mark would be perfect. It was the kind of conversation where personalities instantly meshed, where I smiled and laughed thanks to his friendly demeanor, and where I KNEW I found my DJ/MC. I hired Mark very early on, almost 10 months before our wedding, but as we got closer to the wedding date, I appreciated how Mark kept in touch and followed up with me often.

On the big day, everything went PERFECTLY. Mark's upbeat tone kept the atmosphere light and happy. His music choices, which I decided to leave to him based on our preferences, were spot-on throughout the night. And he made sure all important events started at the exact time. Mark also provided gorgeous up-lighting for our reception which looked amazing in our pictures. Then at the very end the night, he even played a special song for my husband and I to have one last private dance before packing up for the night.

I can't say enough positive things about Mark. He was not only a delightful person to work with, but also an amazing guest at our wedding. If you have any doubts at all, don't! Mark will take care of you, I promise!

Extremely accommodating and a great time!

Mark was amazing when it came to executing our wedding. We had 3 separate locations at our venue and he was able to accommodate everything all while adjusting to any last minute changes. Everyone had a blast and we couldn’t of done it without Mark.

Amazing corporate event - we danced all night!

We hired Mark for a company event of about 500 people at The Tech Interactive in March 2023. He was a great communicator before our event and was ready to go when we arrived. He brought the great tunes!! I gave little to no direction on the song list and he really picked the best songs!! I'll absolutely recommend Mark to teammates that are planning events and will hire him again for future events.

Amazing! Thanks Mark!

Can't say enough about how great Mark was for us! My now wife and I hired Mark as our DJ with warnings that we were somewhat eclectic people in our music tastes. Lots of musicals. Lots of Disney. You get it. Mark listened and gave suggestions on our playlists that we gave him. He was responsive and courteous and made some great suggesions.

On the day of, Mark was there early, got everything set up, made sure to comply with the noise regulations of our venue, and everything operated so smoothly I didn't have to worry about it at all. The only thing I even noticed was our procession was a bit slower than we planned and our track was going to run out while my wife was walking down the aisle. Luckily, Mark saw it too and pretty seamlessly looped the track so it kept going and gave us plenty of time.

Best dj ever!

Trust us, HIRE MARK! Mark is the gold-standard for an all-around DJ, Master of ceremonies and sound extraordinaire! The minute we met him, his high-energy and can-do attitude made it clear that we needed him for our special day. What makes Mark so successful at what he does is his attention to detail. Mark proactively reached out to our live musicians beforehand to ensure they had everything they needed for clear, beautiful sound during our ceremony. He also helped mic and prepare our officiant so she could maintain focus on us. At the reception, Mark added special touches, such as facilitating the shoe-game (which our guests raved about!) and dropped in ad-hoc flair, such as a reference to the Godfather after a speech given by my Dad. Last and most importantly, Mark is a fantastic communicator. He checked in with us when needed during the evening to ensure our expectations were met and adjusted where needed. THANK YOU MARK! Absolutely amazing

Mark was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for our wedding. Right from the first conversation we had on the phone I knew he was the one we needed for our big day. All of our guest loved him, we are still getting compliments on how amazing the music was. I was very specific about the style of music that we wanted and not wanted. My husbands 93 year old grandmother truly appreciated the classic music during cocktail hour. He followed the crowds vibe perfectly. I couldn’t leave the dance floor all night, every time I tried he would play one of my favorite dancing songs. Not only was he great at the DJ part but he was flexible on my husband and mines last minute song changes, questions and concerns. If we ever need a DJ for anything. We know who we are going to call!

Best dj ever!

Mark MC'd and DJ'd for our wedding and he was AMAZING! He had a great system that allows you to plan all of your songs for all the various moments, he worked with us on all of our one-off/ special recordings and he made the whole planning process super painless! He also is just a joy to work with. His energy is infectious and he made us feel heard and supported! He had great ideas and insights, and a ton of good experience. The wedding day he did an EPIC job. Everyone was talking about how awesome the music was, the dance floor was packed the WHOLE night, and he was ready and on top of all the room changes, events, etc.

10/10 DJ for our wedding of a lifetime!!

What can I say about Mark… my husband and I had only a few important goals for our wedding, and one was a great DJ. Mark exceeded our expectations so let me tell you about him. He had a smile on his face all night, he was dressed so nice, he played all our music plus some, he walked to every table to release them for the buffet and shared he had great conversations with all the guests. The biggest thing for us was someone who could ‘host’ and take charge so that the evening goes smoothly, and Mark was PERFECT at it. He was entertaining without taking attention away, not to mention his whole DJ set up is so pleasing to look at! I really wanted uplights and he set them up no issues, which totally added to the ambiance of the reception! He introduced people by name with such excitement and respect. He pronounced names correctly and didn’t make one noticeable mistake! My husband and I got so many compliments on our DJ and how good he was, and we couldn’t be happier!!

If you’re looking for a DJ who has the experience and JOY in his work, Mark is your guy!!

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it was having Mark Addington Events DJ and MC at our wedding. I knew from our first phone call that his energy was exactly what we wanted at our wedding. Not only was he extremely personable but his technical knowledge impressed us as well. And boy, Mark delivered! He helped us through the planning process and offered wonderful ideas of things we could incorporate into our wedding. He was super flexible when it came to submitting music and happily accepted the 5 playlists we submitted.
Let me tell you, Mark can READ THE ROOM. There were so many things that impressed us, but this blew me away. Depending on the atmosphere he knew whether to turn it up, cater to certain crowds that went on and off the dance floor and even played swing music for my parents (they swing dance) when they were the only two on the dance floor.
I cannot express enough how important having Mark Addington Events as a vendor for our wedding was. The day was absolutely magical, and everything I hoped it would be. A giant part of that was how extremely well Mark was able to create the ambience of our dreams. Mark - Brent and I forever thank you for making our day so special.

Cool, flexible, responsive DJ! 10/5 stars!

Mark was so much fun! From the first call as a potential vendor, we were hooked on his enthusiasm, warmth, and clear excitement for our vision. He immediately understood the related but totally different vibes that we had in mind for the ceremony, cocktails/dinner, and dancefloor, and executed them flawlessly. During the planning he was helpful and responsive, providing enough fast feedback that we knew he was thinking about us, without bogging us down in the details. At the wedding, he made sure that we had all of the information and equipment to trust that our event was in good hands, from lapel mics to standing mics to enough kit that he could run a ceremony and reception on opposite sides of the building just minutes apart. He was happy to accommodate our last-minute details about the exit music timing, and flawlessly covered up a last-second ceremony delay with guests already in the seats. He adapted for a mid-ceremony audio issue (not his fault!), and secretly worked with the best man to perfectly execute a mid-speech audio gag. After dinner he kept the dance floor packed until the very end of the night, spinning the perfect mix to get a bunch of 30-somethings to shout themselves hoarse singing their favorite pop hits. At every stage of the event he was totally in tune with the situation, matching the music to the mood, taking requests, making announcements as needed, and reacting instantly to keep us and our guests in the moment.

Mark did an incredible job for our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a better guy to keep our party going and keeping it running smoothly! 2/20/22 wedding

Mark was definitely the hero of the night! We weren’t going to hire a DJ because we had a small guest list (about 40) and we were ballin on a budget. BUT after giving it some thought decided to have a DJ and we are sooo glad we did and even more glad and grateful it was Mark! Fabulous wedding vendor!

We worked with Mark for our November 2021 wedding at Roaring Camp, and could not have been happier with our choice! He was kind and pleasant to deal with, and very professional. When I invited him to take the train ride up with the guests so he could see the layout for ceremonies performed in the redwood grove (for future events), he kindly offered to play the ceremony music on the venue-rented speaker system. He even chose some similar music for the "getting everyone situated" portion, which I hadn't even thought to pick a song for! I appreciated that he noticed what would be an awkward silence, and assisted there. Mark also handled our reception like a pro, and kept playing even when all our guests left early and the event essentially ended before our time was up! We finally gave him our blessing to pack up and leave, though he was a trooper and would've kept playing while the wait staff cleaned up ;-) We would 100% recommend him.

Incredible

This is a long overdue review, but Mark was our DJ/MC for our wedding in August this year, and we had the BEST experience! From the get go, Mark was so excited about our wedding and really made us even more excited too! He is SO organized, knows all the questions to ask, all the people to coordinate with, and how to really make you feel at ease. My husband and I had a pretty good idea of the music we wanted for most of our wedding, but Mark was super helpful in giving us suggestions and recommending things that felt very "us".
During our wedding, it felt like we had our friend DJ/MC-ing. He felt like one of us and seamlessly kept the night moving. The dance floor was NEVER empty which is exactly what we wanted. Would recommend Mark a thousand times over and over-- if you are considering him, please go with him! You won't regret.

5 STARS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! We first spoke with mark about two years ago while searching for the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was very professional but also personal in wanting to get your "vision" and made sure that he met that AND more. Mark was so very easy to talk to and communicate with whether it was by phone or email. He was always there to quickly respond and point us in the best direction when it came to questions that we had about the big day. We hired Mark for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Mark is professional, thorough, fun, and just an awesome guy all around. We did not do everything in the traditional order and our music tastes are so varied and obscure and Mark embraced everything. Mark is amazing! My husband and I hired him as our wedding DJ and were not disappointed in his services! From the first call we had with him, he was super informative and gave us some great ideas for how to think about and select our music. As we got closer to the wedding, he was quick to respond to our request for another call with him and did a great job at answering all of my questions and making me feel at ease with the process. At the last minute, we decided we wanted to add some extra lighting. Mark had a site visit and was able to recommend the number of up-lights to add to the event. He was an absolute professional and had an amazing energy on the day of the wedding. He was 100% accurate in our song lists and didn't play one cheesy wedding song (per my request). There are so many DJs to choose from and both my husband and I are extremely happy we went with Mark!

My husband and I knew we liked Mark from the first phone call. He was positive and upbeat, and was engaged and consistent in his communication. When we had to postpone because of COVID, Mark went independent, and maintained a strong line of communication with us throughout. He took our playlist suggestions and curated a perfect atmosphere for our wedding.

Do yourself a favor, and just hire Mark :)

Honestly, no improvement could be made on Mark. He's quick to respond, easy to work with, and his wedding experience was invaluable. We had no idea what we were doing and he was more than willing to hop on a call with us and explain some fun options to help plan the songs. The day of, he knew exactly what to do at the ceremony and was even able to make some changes on the fly for us. It was only at the reception that I realized I had not sent him any of the music we wanted played for the after party XD. Mark handled it perfectly though, and already had perfect selections for everyone to eat dinner and mingle to and dance to. Do yourself a favor, and just hire Mark :)

Mark was FANTASTIC! My fiancé and I booked Mark for his spectacular DJ services for our wedding shower. To begin, he was extremely responsive and took the time to chat over all of the event details on the phone. He was incredibly flexible, positive, and willing to do whatever it took to make sure we had an amazing event, which we did and a huge part of that was because of him. During our event, we had several games to play with our guests, which Mark did a perfect job leading right there on the spot. If you are considering booking a DJ for your event, book with Mark if you are ready to have the time of your life. He is a terrific speaker, great with capturing the right music at the right times, and he is so very kind!

Professional and Personal during COVID

We did a ton of research for our wedding and eventually hired AG Productions as our DJ because of the awesome reviews they had but more importantly based on the conversation we had with Mark and his team. They were engaging, accomodating, had tremendous experience, and knew exact what we wanted. We were comfortable and felt in good hands. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our wedding due to COVID and never got to meet Mark or anyone from his team in person. Mark was very understanding, wished our families happiness and safety, and fully refunded us our deposit. We were very grateful for that. AG Productions was very professional throughout the entire process and added a personal touch, which I am sure was not the experience many couples had during COVID. The ultimate wedding dance floor experience

Seth and AG Productions are the best!! Working with them was easy, fluid, and they were able to custom tailor the exact experience we (and the crowd) were looking for. The dance floor was absolutely packed all night. People of all ages were singing and dancing all night long. Seth had the perfect mix of music to keep the party alive. Everything was on time and flowed great. It was the most amazing night and everything was perfect.

Best Wedding DJ From Start to Finish

Seth was our initial point of contact and the DJ the day of our wedding this past November. Prior to the big day he helped in a big way with a timeline that flowed well, with making it easy to incorporate our favorite songs and style, and with being professional the whole time. The day of, everything went off without a hitch and even for a diverse crowd he absolutely nailed the vibe, kept the dancefloor packed, and made the entire reception as good as it was. Amazing!

WOW! I had high expectations for the vendors that I used for my wedding, and Mark really exceeded those expectations. He knew how to keep the party going with his great music selection and personality. AMAZING! Best DJs around with the best playlist to make everyone dance! Even with those with a cane!

If you’re looking for the best DJ/MC around, stop your search because you just found them!

I can’t express how amazing AG productions was for our wedding day. They made the day better than we could have imagined!

From there very beginning, Seth and Mark were extremely responsive, professional and knew the answers to all of our questions. Seth was our DJ/MC for our big day and seriously, this was the best and easiest vendor decision we could’ve made. We spoke with a few other companies before speaking with Seth and once we talked to him over the phone, we instantly knew we wanted to hire AG. Seth took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand what vibe we wanted for our wedding and he NAILED it at the wedding. All of our guest are still telling us how amazing the music was and how friendly and fun the DJ was at our wedding.

As if the above wasn’t enough, our venue had been on alert for the mandatory PG&E power outage. Like any bride would, I silently freaked out but Seth was on it! While I was getting ready for the big day, he sent me a text to let me know that he was bringing back up lights and other equipment to make sure the party would still go on if the power was shut off. He quickly and efficiently changed the timeline so that we got everything that needed to happen before the power outage and it went so smooth as if nothing was changed last minute at all! Seth made me calm and excited for the day even knowing that the power was going to go out but since he was prepared and in Constant contact with our venue, coordinator, photographer and my parents- he made me feel super calm when most brides would have broken down in panic.

Our wedding day was THE BEST because of AG productions and even when the power did go out, the handle it professionally and made it fun and exciting for our guest. If you’re looking for a professional, knowledgeable, fun DJ/MC company to make your wedding day the best with everyone not wanting to leave the dance floor, book them NOW! They are simply the best around!

Perfect DJ For Our Perfect Night

If I could give AG Productions, and specifically Seth, more that 5 stars I would. After talking on the phone with prospective candidates for our wedding DJ, AG seemed like a great balance of a talent, production value and cost. After meeting with Seth personally at the venue before the event, I was confident AG would be a fine choice. After it was all said and done, I can easily say we picked the perfect company to help us celebrate our nuptials.

Seth got what we were going for immediately, had great suggestions, worked with us to the extent we wanted to be involved and shined when we told him to run with it. He was warm, attentive to details and just a great addition to our special day. As we didn't have an official coordinator, we really leaned on the people we hired to guide us through, and he absolutely helped us along.

Thank you AG, you absolutely killed it.

Seth & AG Productions killed it!!

We've all been to one of those weddings where the dance floor is basically empty, the music is sub par, and everyone feels awkward. Thanks to Seth, our wedding reception was the polar opposite of that--everyone from my 90 year old grandmother to my 3 year old niece closed down the dance floor and was raving about the awesome playlist. Seth went above and beyond to make everything so fun and memorable, including all our must-plays and crafting a playlist full of bangers, making sure the sound quality and lighting for our rural outdoor venue was on point (no easy task), and offering great suggestions for the pacing of the reception. His add-ons really elevated the whole experience (pro tip--spring for the gobo light). Bottom line--I loved working with Seth, he helped make the lead-up to the big day feel less stressful, and the dance floor was packed all night long. What more can you ask for? Thank you, AG Productions!

Friendly and awesome DJ!

As all soon-to-be-wed couples know, the early days of wedding planning can be very stressful due to all the different vendors couples need to research and talk to, and also from the pressure to book vendors by deadlines that wedding websites recommend. The stress of finding a wedding DJ vanished when we spoke to Mark! The initial phone call with him put us at ease because, not only is Mark friendly, he also has a lot of experience with DJ/MCing weddings, so he knows where he needs to be and when. Mark is so easygoing which made it easy to reach out to him during the process with questions about customizing a playlist or even just asking if certain songs are wedding appropriate. Mark's also got an expansive knowledge of soundtracks; when we asked for the soundtrack from Fallout 4 to be played during seating, he knew exactly the songs to play. I also loved that he was so excited about our choice of Jurassic Park for our ceremony! But Mark really hit the target with our dinner playlist, he put together some really great songs for our lowrider and motown oldies request, even our guests noticed! On top of the stellar customer service AG Productions provided some awesome uplighting for the party and it really transformed the room into a dance floor! Future brides and grooms if you want one less thing to worry about, Mark and AG Productions is the way to go! Thank you Mark for giving us an unforgettable soundtrack to our wedding day!

Amazing DJ- Highly recommended!

AG Productions was absolutely amazing! From the moment I met Mark he was extremely helpful. Mark met with us to go over what would be included in the price. He then sent me several emails telling me where to go to select all of the music. He even met with us a second time at the venue and spoke with the wedding coordinator at the venue. On the day of the wedding he took care of everything. He helped guide the guests where they needed to be and just did a fantastic job during the entire wedding. Flexible, solution oriented vendor for a logistically tough wedding

AG productions absolutely killed it for our wedding. We got married in the Santa Cruz mountains and AG productions had us covered on a really logistically challenging wedding. They had a whisper generator to cover our sound needs in an Oak Grove for the ceremony, the entire set up for the DJ looked amazing, they helped us fully light up a pitch dark ranch, and Seth was super helpful at walking through the entire ceremony with my now wife and I. He really helped us think through what needed to happen from end to end and the DJ killed it day of and kept everything on track.

I got tons of compliments from from guests over the DJ and I'd recommend Seth in a heart beat.

PS: Upgrade for the gobo light, totally worth it

Got our vibe and ran with it

Mark was amazing to work with!! He totally got our vibe and made sure the music reflected that. He kept us on track and was super flexible when we needed to change timing or mics throughout the day. AG Productions is AMAZING! I decided to have them MC and DJ at my wedding on August 4th. Before the wedding, Mark was willing to meet with me in person to discuss the arrangements and put my mind at ease. My Wife and I were so busy we did not provide Mark with all of the information needed as far as music goes. Mark made executive decisions on the spot at the wedding that were amazing. After the ceremony, his skills as a MC shined. He was received very well by all of the guests. During the wedding I was approached by older and younger folks asking for the DJs play list. I provided maybe 10 songs as a starting point for Mark and he knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed all night. The lighting and sound was also perfect. Truly, AG Productions deserves 10/10 stars.

Perfect DJ for our 200 guest wedding!

Extra-ordinary DJs

These guys rocked it! We could not be more impressed by their performance at our wedding, nor could any of our guests-all of which got on the dance floor and stayed on the dance floor…4 hours through! We let them have complete control of the music for dancing, only giving them a little of our tastes and preferences, and they just ran away with it. My wife and I, as well as all of our guests, had the best time partying with them and we’re so thankful we selected them for this all-important task. We really wanted to make sure everyone could relax and have some fun at our wedding and so this was a very important decision for us of who we’d bring on to get the party started. We went through many DJs and musicians on many different sites looking through numerous reviews and with pros and cons to each we finally settled on AG Productions. From our first call with Mark, to the days before, and the wedding day itself, they brought it the whole way through. Such good energy, positivity, and fun! These guys really know what they’re doing and are so good at what they do. Mark is amazing!!! The deejay is the one who really runs a wedding reception. Mark at AG Productions made ours perfect! Amazing from start to finish!!

Mark was amazing throughout the whole process. From initial phone calls with basic details of needs and plans, in person meetup where he basically help us outline our full timeline, to the day of where he was able to keep us on track and make sure we got everything we wanted.
Mark became the MC and coordinator of things to do during the event without us even asking. Always checking in on us to let us know that we wanted to do speeches or garter toss next but was never pushy.
Once the dancing started he picked up on the crowd almost immediately and kept the party going with great songs that everyone could sing along too and the occasional slow song to get a quick dance in with my new wife or family member.

Would highly recommend AGProduction to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding.

Best experience with AG productions

This is going to be a long and detailed review, so if you don’t want to take the time to read it, at least read this. Seth and Mark at AG productions were the best DJ’s we could have asked for. If you want to hear more about why, read below.

First things first, Seth and Mark ROCKED OUR WEDDING! From the very first call we had together, Seth was knowledgeable, excited and threw out many good ideas to give our wedding the exact vibe we were going for. AG productions did our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Starting with the ceremony portion, the musical transitions and sound for the ceremony were perfect. We have been to to many wedding ceremony’s where the mic’s cut in and out or the screeching is so bad you can’t hear the people speaking. We were so happy the pastor and our voices were clearly heard throughout the whole ceremony and there was not a single screech. Our ceremony ended almost 30 minutes early (due to a mishap by us and the venue). Mark worked directly with the day of coordinator to seamlessly workout a new timeline without bothering us at all. We didn’t have to stress about a thing. From the moment Seth introduced us into the the reception, we were on cloud nine. We told Seth that we wanted to dance as much as possible at our wedding and that we wanted to make sure everyone was on the dance floor. We took his suggestion to start the evening off with a few dance songs to set the tone for the evening and he could not have been more right. The dance floor was PACKED all night and I can’t even tell you how many people came up and told us this was the best/most fun/highest energy wedding they had ever been to. Seth worked well with us to keep us on schedule, letting us know when to wrap up each portion of the wedding, without being annoying and demanding, since this was clearly our day. I will be recommending them to all our friends that get married after us!

AG was recommended by our photographer for our wedding and we can't thank her enough. From the very first telephone conversation, I was put at ease. Seth was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and walked me through the process of the DJ'S role for the wedding. I really knew what to expect and felt we were in very good hands. Mark was hired to DJ at our wedding and he did a fantastic job to say the least! He not only reached out to us on multiple occasions prior to the big day to make sure he knew exactly what we envisioned, but his experience and expertise made it easier to work out all the details that come with planning a wedding. On the big day he made sure to pull me aside to formerly introduce himself before the ceremony started which instantly made me feel a sense of relief, because I knew our wedding was in good hands. Our wedding was located up in the mountains which was quite a trip for Mark, being he is located in the bay area, but he showed up with a smile on his face and ready to get the party started! Everything was perfectly set up, the lighting was phenomenal and he did an excellent job reading the crowd and playing the music everyone wanted to hear. We hired DJ Mark for our wedding at The Circus Club in Atherton, CA, September 2010. We gave him guidance on the type of music we wanted him to play with a list of specific songs to help him with making selections. He kept our wedding guests dancing all night and we had a blast - he totally read the crowd! Our wedding was an EVENT. 300 people from around the world, at a beautiful outdoor venue in the Sierras an hour north of Tahoe. Mark drove out from the Bay Area to DJ for us...TWICE - once to scout the venue with me and then again for the main event. That's 9 hours round trip, two times. That's commitment to making a party excellent.

Mark was there early setting up, and stayed late to break down. He MCed the party flawlessly, getting people excited and dancing, playing requests from partygoers, and really paying attention to what was getting people excited and what wasn't. He had great suggestions for transitional music (think: what to play during cocktail hour, what to play when guests are getting seated, etc.) and built out full playlists for these segments based on themes and descriptions (e.g. "60s rock and roll, but with country flair" for the cocktail hour). Even my wife's 93-year-old grandmother told us the next morning: "The DJ was fabulous!"

If you're having a wedding, mitzvah, or any other awesome party anywhere in Northern California, we cannot Mark and AG Productions recommend highly enough!!

Weddings are such hard events to DJ due to the varied ages and music preferences. Seth knows how to bridge that gap better than anyone out there. If you are looking for a packed dance floor with everyone having a great time, he is your guy.....if that isn't what you want then you should look elsewhere.

Seth is an incredible DJ who has organized numerous parties that have been absolutely top class. I've used his services for over 7 years and have been constantly impressed by his ability to provide top class DJing and MCing for our events. From wedding after parties to fundraisers, I would recommend Seth's skills for any event!

Seth has organized and DJ'ed countless parties that I've attended over the years. From Bar Mitzvahs to nightclub takeovers to my own wedding after party, he's as tried and true of a party-thrower as there is. Musically-speaking, he always knows how to deliver on exactly what the dance floor demands, and he's great at taking direction when specific genres or songs should be included/avoided.
Logistically, he has juggled every aspect involved in throwing a party with finesse. Seth has handled an incredibly wide range of parties and is prepared for just about any type of vibe you could go for.
Above all, he's a true professional and a pleasure to work with. Trust him to handle your party and you won't regret it!

We hired AG Productions for an event we hosted. Mark & Seth met with us prior to the event. They asked questions & made some suggestions to develop an idea of what we had in mind. The night turned out perfectly. They set the mood & kept us going all night. I was able to let go of my responsibilities as a hostess & thoroughly enjoy my guests.

We were visiting California for a friends wedding and had the best time because of the DJ. Knowing our wedding was coming up we had had to get his contact info and find out if he traveled to New Orleans. Mark said that he totally traveled and had the date free for our wedding. Not only was communication with Mark simple, fast and easy, but he let us personalize every aspect of the wedding. We really felt like we were getting the wedding and music we wanted. Mark provided mics and music for the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, dinner and dancing. He MC’d the whole party and kept us on schedule so we had time to visit and time to dance. He even provided power cables for the beignet vendor when theirs did not work. We can’t say enough about Mark and AG Productions, they went out of their way to make our wedding perfect!

We had Mark DJ at our wedding back on August 5, 2016 at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park, Berkeley. He already knew the venue and how to execute a great night. Leading up to the big night he reached out to us to ensure our music was picked out and that all the songs we wanted would be played. Not only was he extremely professional and responsive, he knows how to read a crowd and keep the night moving along smoothly. People say as the bride and groom the whole day goes by so fast and it’s no lie, and Mark did a fantastic job keeping us on track and working with the wedding coordinators. I’d recommend Mark for any wedding, celebration or event. Music and the man behind the table is what will make it a memorable night and with Mark you won’t be disappointed.

Mark Addington is not only handsome but talented. He is passionate about his work and is amazing with people. There isn't anyone else who I would of picked to host and DJ my wedding reception.

Mark was amazing as our DJ. He came out to the wedding venue prior to the event in Madison, WI to make sure the sound and room was equipped to our satisfaction. He went above and beyond all expectations to help create an evening of seamless entertainment for the reception. He also was the DJ at my sister's outdoor wedding reception and did a great job. We would recommend Mark enthusiastically for your DJ needs.

Mark is incredible

Where to begin... To start, Mark was absolutely incredible before the wedding having us build some "inspo-board"-style playlists for the different phases of the wedding (cocktail hour vs. early dance floor, etc) that ensured the tone was exactly what we liked without needing us to dictate every song. He worked excellently with our coordinator and was able to adapt on the fly to some last-minute changes and requests that we had. All we wanted out of our wedding was a big party and celebration, and I kid you not, Mark kept the dance floor full in 90 degree heat for more than 3 hours! It was the best energy we could have asked for and we got so many compliments on the job he did. He did the little things great, (mics for the ceremony, announcements, timing on the fade-ins and outs, etc) and the big things better. To top it off, the love and exuberance Mark had for us on our big day was like having a best friend in the booth. We cannot recommend Mark highly enough.
