Mark is absolutely incredible - probably the best musician I've ever had the pleasure of being around. Mark played violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I only had one request, the song that I walked down the aisle to - I left everything else to him and it was the best. Mark exceeded my imagination in terms of skill, and the violin was the absolute perfect ambiance for both ceremony and cocktails. I absolutely cannot recommend Mark enough and we are so happy he was a part of our special day! -

Mark Woodyatt is a gifted musician. He performs from the heart and puts his all into his work...and that is someone you want performing on your Wedding Day. Mark catered to our every need, learning several specialty songs for our ceremony as well as acting as a choir director last minute for a group of young singers I had planned to sing at our ceremony. He learned a song on the piano for them as well as recorded it in his studio for us to practice with. He has top notch equipment, can basically play any song you can think of, is also a gifted pianist as well as a violinist, AND he gives a performance that is second to none. It is so easy to tell that Mark lives and breathes his work, and our families and guests were so impressed by his professionalism and talent with several people saying that “The violinist earned every penny you spent on him.” On top of the quality service, fair pricing and music, Mark was very communicative and engaged in working with me to plan my special day. Thank you for your kindness and passion Mark! If you are looking to hire a musician for your Wedding day or special event, Mark has been playing music for so many years, and and I can truly say he can take anything you can throw at him, and make your day a fairytale!!!! Mark did an excellent job for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He took requests. He was able to preform very song as requested by the bridal party. He has excellent communication and assured everyone had a great time! -

At the time of our wedding on October 8, 2016, I did not have a computer. Today, on our third anniversary, I am reminded of that beautiful day. Mark Woodyatt was the only entertainment at our wedding and certainly the only entertainment needed. All communication with Mark and his partner, Lily, was clear and concise with no questions unanswered. Mark's professionalism cannot be matched! He played every song that we requested, as well as all requests from our guests, with incredible passion and precision. It's amazing that Mark's hands can create such magic! Our guests all felt the same! Mark Woodyatt is a remarkable talent and he made our wedding perfect!! -
User2542791 Sent on 02/26/2016If you're looking for an amazing musician, Mark is your your guy! My wedding ceremony was in Scranton and my reception at a local Country Club. I have to say, the music was the easiest part in the planning of everything. I relayed to him the "feel" I wanted for the ceremony and cocktail hour. What I received was: carefully chosen classical preludes and postludes and sophisticated, classy jazz for my cocktail hour...with a few personal requests from my new husband. There's nothing this guy can't do! He made our day so so special...my family and friends still remark about it. I'll be in a friend's wedding this summer, and luckily, she was able to book Mark for her day. I can't wait to hear him again and re-experience my wedding...Love it!!! If you're on the fence about music for your wedding, let this be a testimony to you....Great music totally makes the difference!

User2524579 Sent on 02/01/2016I hired Mark to provide music for my contemporary Jewish wedding ceremony at the Scranton Cultural Center. His violin playing was impeccable, and we are so thrilled with our wedding video and the beautiful music that accompanied our ceremony. As an added bonus, we hired him to play with the Exact Change Band. His professionalism, flexibility and musicianship were beyond any of our expectations, and he seems to have a vast amount of experience as both a soloist, band leader and sideman, bc all the musicians knew who he was and had nothing to say but great things. It made us look good having a violinist who knew just how to tastefully enhance our ceremony. I highly recommend Mark Woodyatt for any weddings. Not only can he play, he can book any number of excellent musicians for every aspect of a wedding day. His partner, Lily also helped out immensely. My wife later shared with me that Lily coordinated the timings of all the mothers, bridesmaids and, of course, Danielle, with Mark's music. Having an extra hand on the job further enhanced the impact of Mark's performance. I'm still hearing about how beautiful our wedding was nearly 1 1/2 years later to the day. So I thought I'd write a review as a way to say Thanks again to the most talented violinist I've ever met, Mark Woodyatt, for doing a job perfectly-done. -

Wow, definitely recommend!
I do not even know how to write a review that properly describes Mark. He did an incredible job with our ceremony and our cocktail hour. He went above and beyond for us and my husband and I were extremely satisfied. The songs we requested for the ceremony were: Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley for the bridesmaids and for me, the bride, he learned Live Forever by Kane Brown; both of which were stunning! Mark played Bohemian Rhapsody (a request by us as our large family loves that song), songs from Star Wars (that we also requested), as well as many other songs that were crowd pleasers. We were disappointed that we did not get to hear him play as much as we wanted to but we heard from our guests that he did an amazing job. Our guests were even dancing with him while he was out in the dance floor playing during the cocktail hour. Additionally, it was pouring when we arrived at the venue and his wife helped me off the bus with her umbrella! All in all, he was phenomenal and we would definitely recommend that you use him for your wedding! -
