Milestone made our wedding! They were the highlight of our night, kept the party going, and were SO GOOD. They are phenomenally talented musicians and entertainers. All of our guests were dancing and most people barely left the dance floor. My 82 year old grandma couldn't walk the next day because she danced so much but she says it was worth it! It's been almost a month since our wedding and we still have people reaching out to tell us how fun the band was. Their songlist is massive and they have tunes that will make everyone happy. Mark is just an absolute gem to work with. He is extremely responsive and so kind. We've been told by many of our guests this was the best wedding band they've seen by far! -

Mark and his band DEF Trio played at our wedding in September at Chautauqua in Boulder and they absolutely crushed it! They opened with two requested songs for our first dance and mother/son father/daughter and then played classic rock and wedding song covers (also many we chose) for the rest of the night. Everyone had a blast and the dancefloor was bumping all night (almost three hours!). Young kids, adults, grandparents, and all of our friends were singing along and dancing as Mark and DEF Trio played flawless classic covers. All three of them sing and are super talented. The next day, everyone was talking about how great the band was and how much fun they'd had.
Mark was amazing to work with. He was easy going but completely on top of everything and very responsive. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Mark, DEF Trio, and his other bands for any wedding or event. -

I'd give them 6/5 stars if I could.
We had them perform for our wedding ceremony and reception, and the production quality and performance was absolutely top notch. In addition Mark and the entire band was quite sociable and great to work with every step of the way, from planning to execution.
I highly recommend them anyone looking for a polished and professional, world class band for their wedding! -

We booked the DEF Trio band for our wedding and were absolutely blown away! Mark was wonderful to work with and was so helpful with planning everything out before our reception. The band showed up extra early to set up and made sure they were ready well before guests arrived. Mark, Ed, and Jay work flawlessly together and you can tell they were having a blast performing. They helped involve our guests and played a wide variety of music that everyone wanted to dance to (our guests are still talking about how much they loved the band). The band also learned our wedding song just for our reception, which was so so special. They are seriously talented guys!! If you are looking for a band, Mark Diamond Music is the way to go! We are so thankful for all the time they put in to make our wedding day unforgettable. -

We loved our band on our wedding day!! We hired Mark Diamond and The Milestone Band for all parts of our special day. We hired the three-piece trio to play at our ceremony, the five-piece band to play during our cocktail hour, and the eight-piece band to play during our reception (the core five musicians, plus three horns). They were excellent during every part of the day! They allowed us to choose what songs we wanted played, and Mark was so easy to communicate throughout the entire planning process-from the moment we contacted him (about eight months before our wedding day) through our special day! He is so personable!! People repeatedly told us how much they loved the band, and it showed! Our guests were out on the dance floor pretty much all night! They are wonderful, extremely talented musicians, and we highly, highly recommend hiring them for your special day!! You will be so happy you did! -

We highly recommend The Milestone Band for your wedding or event!
They were an incredible additional to our wedding day. We booked the 3 piece jazz trio for cocktail hour and 6 piece band including one brass player (saxophone) for our reception. All of our wedding guests couldn’t stop raving about them and our dance floor was full the entire night! They were extremely talented, fun and exceeded all of our expectations.
Mark was courteous, flexible and responsive to all of our requests and questions. He went above and beyond selecting music for our night, introducing us and introducing our special dances. We are hoping to book them again for our next party! -

Best. Band. Ever.
Hiring Mark & Milestone Band for our wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made. Not a single person was sitting down the entire time they were playing & our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was. They are truly such high-quality musicians and their breadth of music knowledge is incredible. Absolutely can not recommend them enough - I wish we could have a wedding all over again just to hear them play!! -

We hired Mark and the DEF Trio band to play at our wedding in July and they were FANTASTIC! Guests from my wedding are still talking about how great the music was! People were dancing before the dance floor even opened, and I don't think the band took a single break because they saw how much everyone was enjoying themselves!
Mark was able to read the crowd, played excellent music, and kept the evening going to the schedule that he and I had crafted together! I didn't have a wedding coordinator and so he was able to talk me through everything -- offered great recommendations and listened to my vision! He is obviously very experienced in making special events incredibly special and we would 110% recommend for your next event! Thank you Mark!! -

If you want a fun band for your wedding or any event for that matter, this is THE band. From the initial meeting, Mark made sure that he understood what we wanted to hear for our wedding in Telluride, Colorado. He has an extensive music list that encompasses many different genres. On top of that, he said he would learn some of our favorite songs. His three-piece band with a stand-up bass player, let me repeat, a stand-up bass player, cranked out some of our favorite jams. He played music we danced fast to as well slow. At one point I was jumping a glowing jump rope while we were all engulfed with bubbles from a plethora of bubble guns all fueled by the power of the Mark Diamond Trio (MDT). Bottom line is that you can’t go wrong with the MDT. From his communication to the final performance it was masterpiece. -

Wedding reception
Stop now if you are searching for the perfect event music! Mark Diamond and his band performed a jazz set on the patio during hors dourves. Then, they led my wedding guests in a night of revelry and dancing. (As my son, a jazz musician, advised: get a jazz band that can also play rock!) Except for a few of my choices, I left the playlist up to his discretion. IT WAS PERFECT! In addition, working with Mark on preparations was seamless. We consulted via phone. He understood my intentions for both the hors dourves and the dance portions. All my guests commented that “it was the best band” they had experienced at an event. A fabulous time was had by all. -

Mark is a legend. We hired him and his Milestone band for our wedding and I really really really recommend Mark and the players he works with. The experience was a delight from our first conversation to sadly saying goodbyes at the end of a perfect night. The music was absolute fire and the band simply grooves and rocks, all the things. True professionals, experts in their craft. They played an electric 15-minute hora and 2 really versatile sets that covered so much musical ground. They were just really fun. You will really enjoy working with Mark and the band. -

Mark and his band absolutely crushed it at our wedding. There were some sound restrictions they had to comply with and it was absolutely flawless. The repertoire selection is just as impressive. My husband and I hired Mark’s musicians and his band, the Milestone (5 piece band), for our wedding in Colorado this past August. Not only did Mark provide the band, The Milestone, for our amazing wedding reception but he also provided musicians for our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour and Mark himself played in all 3 events! Mark is a jack of all trades and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else on our big day. Not only did we work with Mark to coordinate and manage all 3 events, but he also provided song recommendations, had several planning phone calls with us leading up to our wedding, coordinated a song with my sister as she sang while I walked down the aisle during the ceremony, played in all 3 events, helped MC when the bridal party entered the wedding reception room and passed off the mic in-between speeches during dinner! Mark is very professional, personable, organized, prompt, experienced, wonderful to work with, and is an amazing musician. He made us feel very comfortable from day 1 and instantly earned our trust to perform all music for our wedding. The Milestone were a huge hit at our wedding reception and guests were talking about the band for several days after! The dance floor was packed with friends and family dancing all night and our guests didn’t want the music to end! Mark’s band has over 1,000 songs to choose from, and they even learned 1 new song for our wedding reception which was a blast! In fact, my best friend loved Mark and the band so much that her and her husband booked The Milestone for their wedding in Colorado this April 2022. We are so excited for this wedding and can’t wait to see Mark and The Milestone again! We would highly recommend Mark Diamond Music / The Milestone for any events, especially weddings, as they are the best and Mark is great to work with, so look no further! -

Highlight of the Night
Wow! What a class act. Mark Diamond and the Milestone Band single handedly made our wedding an unforgettable event. They are so versatile, playing Van Morrison during cocktail hour, Miles Davis during dinner and Led Zeppelin during the reception. All our guests commented that the band was the highlight of the night. I would recommend Mark time and time again. Thank you so much! -

Your expertise and advice in planing many of the wedding details was invaluable, and really helped the ceremony and reception go perfectly. You have obviously done this a time or two : ) The music was incredible and everyone commented on how good you were. Your energy as an MC for the first dance and cake cutting really made everyone feel comfortable and my daughter said you and your band were one of the best parts of the wedding. Mark Diamond and his band Milestone did a fantastic job for us! From the very beginning, Mark was extremely professional, clearly walked us through what our options were, what he would and would not do for us, what everything would cost, and his recommendations.
Even when it came to coordinating with the venue, which got a bit hairy, Mark was awesome, and helped us find a solution that worked for everyone.
The music was awesome. We requested only 2 songs, and gave vague requests for the rest, and he and the band did a great job of playing a collection that worked for everyone. Multiple guests remarked after the fact how good the band had been, and how they recognized and loved so many of the songs (many of which we'd never heard before).
I highly recommend Mark and crew for your events! He's friendly, professional, prepared, and a darn fine musician. -

Mark Diamond was the first person to call me when I started looking for live music for my wedding and it honestly would've saved me a ton of time and headache if I had just immediately booked with him. But there are a lot of good musicians out there and we originally weren't sure which direction to go with the music so we weighed our options and attempted to book with someone else.
Flash forward two weeks before the wedding and I've been talking with this other musician for a week or two trying to get demos that were promised, sign a contract, and pay and they seem unreachable half of the time. Finally three days go by and I haven't heard from this woman so I call Mark up and tell him I'd much rather go with him. He says, "no problem", finds musicians playing the exact instruments I want and even works with me on the price. He then put in a few hours over several conversations with me over the next week just to make sure everything will be perfect.
Mark and his network of musicians are very talented and absolutely professional. The day of the wedding, there was a lot of nonsense with the caterers and other hired help but Mark and his crew were amazing. Everyone complimented my wife and me about our choice of music. He's also just a great guy and a pleasure to work with. -
