  Mark did a beautiful job with our wedding. He got some great candids at the Welcome Dinner and Wedding Breakfast, and caught memorable preparation photos. The best were his shots of the Wedding and Reception. He seemed to be everywhere at once, getting close-ups and long shots. He captured the joy and love of the day in people’s faces, and in the riotous dancing. In particular he got delightful candids of my groom and me on the altar, precious memories. And great family shots. Thank you Mark!

  Amazing wedding photographer!

  Mark was AWESOME!!! He was easy to connect with-- he was easy to communicate with on email and set up a pre-wedding meeting via Zoom to make sure he had a good lay of the land and an idea of what we were looking for. The day of the wedding, he executed things perfectly-- he obtained amazing candids of the cocktail hour and dinner/dancing with really beautiful portraits of the wedding and group shots that we had planned to do ahead of time. Mark nailed it. He also was really enthusiastic and so incredibly easy to work with. I would use Mark again and again! He was AWESOME!! And we LOVE the photos!!!

  We loved having Mark as our photographer! From the first consultation with him we knew he was the right choice. He listened to what we wanted, asked great questions, offered great tips, and was just so warm and friendly. He did an awesome job on the day of our wedding! He was on time and jumped right in getting before shots. All of his shots of us and our guests were perfect. He was professional and fun! He had us laughing and feeling comfortable. Our photos are treasures, and we are so glad we chose Mark!

  Mark and Rich photographed our wedding on June 4, 2016 in Phippsburg, ME. From the start of working with Mark all the way to the very end was absolutely seamless. He was very responsive to any of my questions and his pricing was on point. I recently received our photos and they exceeded our expectations. Mark and Rich were so personable and such a pleasure to work with. They both made me and our guests feel very comfortable and were never in the way during the wedding. Mark and Rich were really able to capture all the details and the whole spirit of our wedding day. I would absolutely use Mark again and recommend him to anyone! Thank you Mark and Rich!!

  There is something very unique about Mark Bolton photography that I would like to share with anyone who is considering a photographer for their wedding. When we were perusing their website, We noticed that his wedding pictures were like a collection of amazing candids! Some formal pics are fine for weddings but it's Mark and Kristin's unique ability to capture the candid moments that sets them apart from everyone else. When my fiance and I met Mark, he explained that he is a former veteran photo journalist! Now it made sense to us how he was able to perform like that. We just received our pics and we couldn't be more pleased!! Mark and Kristin are professional and fun. Other than formal shots...nothing else is staged and even some of the formals were candid! We HIGHLY recommend Mark Bolton photography. They are also very reasonably priced for the extreme talent and quality that you receive. Thanks Mark Bolton Photography !

  Mark and his wife were an absolute pleasure to work with! We just got a look at our pictures and they are beautiful! Mark really listened to what we wanted in regards to pictures and was wonderful throughout the process. He had tons of great suggestions for pictures and was willing to travel to our location before the event to get some ideas. Mark was thoughtful and you can really tell that he loves photography.
