Absolutely Perfect!

My wife and I were absolutely overjoyed that we selected Mark as our wedding photographer for our special day. Planning our wedding during a pandemic presented plenty of challenges for us, but we never felt we needed to stress about photography. Mark was incredibly communicative and flexible with us as we navigated all the uncertainties and date/time changes prior to the wedding. During our engagement session he made us feel at ease, ensuring the entire session was incredibly enjoyable and fun. The photos also turned out amazingly! On the wedding day, Mark and Lindsay arrived very early to set up and discuss the photo plans, communicating with us throughout the day. All the members of our wedding were raving about both of them during and afterwards, complimenting their professionalism and overall fun demeanor. To top it all off, the photos looked absolutely gorgeous. We cannot say enough good things about Mark and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day.

Perfect Day

What a perfect day! Mark and his team were one of the most positive aspects of our big day. Being the groom, Mark really made me feel important and a big part of this process; where other vendors fell short. Mark also laid out a perfect timeline for us and kept our whole wedding party on track; while treating everyone with the upmost respect. Incredible from beginning to end

Mark was incredible from beginning to end! He did a fantastic job and took gorgeous photos in a short period of time. I cannot recommendation him enough! We just love our photographs! Mark truly captured the joy and emotions of the day. You can’t even tell that it was raining in our outdoor photos (although it was sprinkling quite a bit!)

Absolutely amazing... Lit!

My husband and I highly recommend Mark Adrian Photography. I had the pleasure of meeting Mark and his team (Sheela) in 2014, they were the photographers for my best friend's wedding. After observing their friendliness, level of engagement, and creativity during her wedding celebration I told my then boyfriend that I wanted Mark Adrian for our big day. Fast forward to 2019 my husband and I got engaged and the first photographer I contacted was Mark. I was unsure of how we would connect or if we could hire Mark since we had relocated to the west coast and having a destination wedding. Mark recommends face to face consultation which created a challenge for us due to our recent move. My fiance and I traveled to Detroit for my "Say Yes to the Dress" experience in February, and was unsure if Mark would be available during our travel dates. I informed Mark and he gladly made time for us to meet with him. Mark met with us within hours of he and his family returning from vacation, this accommodation meant a lot to us. Mark told us to feel free to bring our bridal party and that we did. This gesture also contributed to our decision because it enabled us to have uninterrupted time with the bridal party while still conducting business. It also provided Mark with a glimpse of our relationship. After seeing our engagement photos we knew we had made the best choice to have Mark shoot our special day. Mark and his team traveled to Jamaica along with us and our entire wedding entourage. Once he and his team arrived Mark found the most amazing spots for us to be photographed at the venue. Mark Adrian Photography is a well oiled machine they are creative, responsive, efficient and very personable. It amazes us how one interaction in 2014 created such impact that Mark Adrian photography will photograph all of our memories going forward.

Mark Adrian Photography!

From the moment my husband and I decided to hire Mark Adrian Photography we have had nothing but a positive, professional, and unforgettable experience. I couldn’t imagine having any other photography team capture the day like he and his team. It was truly a blessing to have them there on our special day to capture all of our memorable moments. We received our proofs in record time and were able to review them over the last few weeks. Mark and his team were able to catch every angle so that we had plenty of options to choose from. We actually ended up with TOO MANY amazing pictures from the day that it has been hard to select which prints we want. I don’t even know where to begin. Mark was a great asset to our special day. From the very first time we met at a wedding event, he captured our trust and our respect. He is very professional on everything that he does and is there to help throughout your wedding day. I would refer him to anyone that needs a photographer, especially a wedding photographer. He and his partner Lindsay, were absolutely amazing and were willing to do anything to get the best shot. Mark and his team are AMAZING to work with

JD Entertainment and everyone that we dealt with was amazing and over the top nice. Will was our DJ and I can't tell you how much everyone at the wedding loved him. he kept the dance floor moving and was fun. All my friends wished they would of had Will for their wedding. I can not tell you how amazing Will was to work with. He answered all my questions, he went over the top and helped make my day special by playing the songs my grandfather had sang for his grandchildren before he passed. He kept a secret from everyone from the wedding so I could have a special moment with my Bonus son (my stepson) he went over and above what we asked for. I have been married for a month now and my guest still talk about how great our DJ was. The photo booth was a hit as well. Mark and his team were an ABSOLUTE DREAM to work with.
Everything was seamless, having Mark and his team to count on was a huge weight off of our shoulders both day of and in the time leading up to the big day.
Everyone involved in our photos ( bridal party, parents, close friends and family) were so impressed with him! Mark and team were so upbeat, all smiles, and relaxed that everyone else was able to just enjoy the day!
It’s been 2 weeks and we are still talking about him.
The turn around on getting the digital proofs was shockingly fast and lines of communication have always been open. At no point did I feel like I was waiting to hear back from Mark.

I would highly recommend Mark Adrian Photography. Mark really gets to know you as a couple, as well as the bridal party and family. He is very respectful and makes sure to capture the kinds of photos that you want. Mark made sure that during the cocktail hour and reception he went around and captured portraits for any couple or family that wanted one. My guests really appreciated that! Mark also made sure that the pictures, ceremony, and reception were all going according to schedule so that nothing gets missed. Mark was very attentive and willing to discuss what we wanted and answer any questions that we had. I got so many compliments about my wedding photos and how fun and friendly Mark was! This is the photographer you want!

I immediately liked Mark the day I met him. There were so many people around that wanted to talk to him and yet I felt like I was the only one there. He listened to what I was saying and totally focused in and explained everything I needed to know. Mark is very kind, calm, clear. I think he can see the picture in his mind before he even takes it. Sheela is wonderful, as well. She is the same with her clarity but adds the perfect touch of sweetness. They work together beautifully. Priyanka, the 3rd photographer was also a gem to work with. All were very easy going and were so open to suggestions.Photographs are definitely an expense. But, this is what your special memories are going to be made from. These photos are going to let you relive your special day, over and over. These photos are going to tell a story, not just any story, YOUR story. Years ago, I skimped on my photographer for my wedding and I hated my pictures. They were such a disappointment. I was not going to let my daughter make the same mistake. We are both anxiously awaiting ALL the photos. The ones that Mark has shared with us are absolutely breathtaking. Creative, fun, romantic and just surprising in such a wonderful way. I have been scrolling Face Book a lot checking for any new pictures that Mark posts. I do know the wait will be worth it and the memories, well, we will have those forever because of Mark Adrian Photography.

I am SO HAPPY we chose Mark Adrian Photography for our wedding day!! I was super nervous in general, bc I’m not a photogenic person while my husband is ( which is why I opted out of any type of engagement pics) but Mark made the entire day fun and didn’t seem like we were actually having photos taken. I gave Mark probably a little more than needed photo inspo shots bc of my nervousness :) and he also brought his own twist and inspo to the day. All of our photos came out fantastic! Our bridal party and family kept telling us how great Mark and Sheela were all day from their personalities to their talent and that we were going to have a hard time selecting our photos bc they knew they were going to be good ones! Mark and his team were seriously the best! I found him at the bridal show at the Palace about 3 years ago and have known that he would photograph my wedding someday. Fast forward to September of this year and he was there to capture our big day! It was one of the easiest and best decisions I made regarding my wedding. Mark and his team were so personable and kind. He was even able to create time to have a special moment with my brother who has special needs, and for that I will be forever grateful. Awesome! Mark’s pictures of our daughter’s wedding were completely awesome! All of our children are married but, if we had another one, there is NO ONE else I would hire to photograph the wedding other then Mark. From the moment my daughter and I met him, we knew we wanted Mark to do the wedding. Mark has an upbeat and engaging personality. Mark and his team exceeded our high expectations. Not only did the photos capture the day, Mark was great to be around. Several of our guest commented during the wedding how much they like our photographer. After seeing the pictures, several people have commented on how perfect they are! I'll start with this: my officiant (who marries hundreds of people a year) saw Mark before the wedding, sighed with relief, and said "Oh thank goodness, you got one of the good photographers."

Mark was truly a savior at my wedding. First, imagine walking around in a Wedding Expo, knowing nothing about weddings, and talking to a few photographers, all of which are already booked, 8 months in advance, and beginning to panic. Then you stumble upon a friendly man who talks to you about the timeline of the services you need to register and how to start, without trying to sell you something. Then it turns out, he's also a great photographer!

Then, your life gets crazy, and he patiently waits for the info you send him, accepts your last minute call for an engagement portrait session, and turns out to be a genuinely fun guy who makes you and your fiancee laugh when you feel awkward posing.

Then, on your wedding day, he runs behind a horse carriage for an hour in 80 degree sunny weather, becomes an interface between you and the DJ delivering messages on timing, takes the most amazing photos in which he captures how truly happy you and your fiancee are, and even manages to help you escape guest tables that want to keep you talking forever by taking formal photos so you have an excuse to move on and see everyone else!

I was honored, and so grateful, to have had Mark and his wife, Sheila, at my wedding. Sheila paid attention to the tiniest details (where my veil was blowing, how my dress was arranged) in every shot, and they both had amazing creative ideas for poses and places to photograph. They were patient and comprehensive and hilarious. They made everything fun. The luckiest thing that happened to me in 2017 is that I randomly started talking to him in the Novi Bridal Expo. Except I'd say, it probably wasn't luck-- he just is that friendly looking that I stopped to talk to him.

If you go with Mark, you will not regret it.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark and Lindsey at our daughters wedding. He has such a way with people! So easy and fun to work with, I had to get a picture with him before the day was over. We cannot thank Mark enough for his expert guidance on our wedding day, and we are still getting compliments on our photographer – nearly four weeks since our event! Mark is not only extremely organized, but he also has the most impressive demeanor we’ve ever experienced – he was adept in giving direction to our guests and explaining our vision in order to get the perfect shots. We had a Star Wars theme wedding, and even when things got about as chaotic as a Broadway show, Mark remained cool as a cucumber, and his calm disposition soothed even the most frantic of brides (me). He handled a crowd of immense proportions with ease, and captured some of the best large group shots possible! Our wedding was in a historic theatre, and Mark adapted to the darkened environment seamlessly, preserving the essence of the theatre experience, while adding enough light for the perfect exposure. He has an eye for composition and color you would expect from an art museum exhibitor, and once he makes sure your requested shots are covered, he works his magnificent “Mark Magic,” which is the reason we hired him. He can elicit the perfect responses and expressions from his subjects, creating a photographic tapestry of cherished memories preserved for a lifetime. His second shooter, Lindsay Johnson, also deserves high praise, as the communication between the two of them was flawless, allowing shots to be captured from two perspectives at all times. Lindsay came to the rescue twice, saving me from a near catastrophic wardrobe malfunction by swiftly offering a pin to keep things in place, and also bustled my dress for photos faster than anyone in my bridal party could’ve ever hoped – she’s a bride’s dream! The professional combination of Mark and Lindsay resulted in magazine quality spreads, and photos we will treasure far and above any gift we received. There is only one word to describe Mark’s work: Epic. And it truly was. He’s the best.

Besides his non stop energy, the thing that struck us the most about Mark Adrian is that he knew the names of the entire wedding party within a few minutes and called us all by name for the two days. He went out of his way to make sure our daughter's (bride) shot list was totally completed. Then he added his genius and all inclusiveness to end up with a product that was awesome and precious to our family and guests.

Mark and Sheila made our special day nothing less than amazing!! I was so glad I attended a bridal show and he was there. There were other photographers I met along this planning journey but no one "wowed" me like he did! We loved Mark Adrian Photography! They were so professional and made us very comfortable. I originally met with Mark and he gave a well organized presentation that explained how everything would go. The wedding day was a busy one but they really made it seem effortless and produced the photos super quickly! We are so lucky to have found them and will always recommend to anyone looking!

From the first time I met Mark, I knew he was the one...to be our wedding photographer! On top of being a brilliant photographer, he is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, and so much fun! What really stands out about Mark is that he takes the time to get to know each of his couples, and captures their personalities through his photographs. My (now) husband and I aren't big fans of staged photographs, so when our engagement photos came around, we were a little bit nervous. Mark made us laugh the entire time, and our photos really showed our true selves!

On the morning of my wedding, I was a nervous wreck. When Mark and Lindsay walked in, they pulled me aside and calmed me down, which nobody had been able to do all day. Thanks to them, I was able to relax and enjoy every moment of my big day! In addition to being the calming presence that every bride needs, they were so much fun and kept everyone engaged the entire day. Mark and Lindsay were the dream team, and managed to get incredible pictures of everyone. They went above and beyond and managed to get pictures of all of our family and friends at the reception! We felt as though our wedding pictures really told our story and captured the day in a way that no videographer could.

Mark was there for us through every step of our engagement, and really helped to make our wedding amazing. I highly recommend him to everyone, whether you're engaged, married, or looking for someone to capture any of your special moments. Mark is the best, and we cannot wait to work with him again in the future!

Mark was more than anything we could have asked for! He really captured the feeling of every aspect of our wedding, and he made both everyone there and the venue look even more spectacular than reality! During the day, he got every shot that we wanted, and if a family member or friend asked for a special shot, he always got that shot next! When all the girls got a little off schedule in the morning getting ready, we was on his toes and adjusted his schedule for us! He was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend him. At the end of the night, all the guests where asking how we found him and how amazing he was! And he posted some pictures from our wedding before we even got to bed that night! Like within hours of leaving, we got to see some of his amazing shots! We got to see all the pictures really quickly after that as well! Mark and his assistant were so nice and so professional, and their energy had everyone wanting to take more pictures with them, and that gave us an amazing assortment of beautiful shots! We were so lucky to find him, and he captured every moment for us to look back on our best day ever!

I have never seen two photographers work harder than Mark Adrian and his wife, Sheela. And, the results were outstanding at our daughter's wedding. They are so creative and easy to work with and we could not be happier. Mark has made her and her husband's special day most memorable and a precious gift.

I met Mark Adrian at a wedding expo, there were hundreds of vendor's but there was something about Mark that pulled me in, his work is fantastic, his personality is cheerful and his methods and ideas about how to get the best shots was inspiring. Our date wasn't even set yet but I knew I wanted Mark & his team to photograph our wedding. Fast forward 10 months later, I married the man of my dreams and Mark captured every moment perfectly. I am so thankful to have found him and will continue to pursue him for any new opportunity where a photographer is need as I know I will NEVER be disappointed with his superior work. Mark & Sheela are wonderful people and photographers, they capture natural moments and set up for genuine reactions that are timeless. Mark and his wife were great to work with! They made the whole process easy and stress free. Our pictures turned out great and Mark had them ready to look at within a week of our wedding! We also did our engagement pictures with Mark and loved them. He took lots of time to get all the quality photos we wanted. Quite a few of our guests the day of our wedding complemented how awesome Mark and Sheila were. One thing I would recommend is having any special photo requests you want up front because the night goes by so fast. We have loved going back through and enjoying all the pictures captured on our special day. Very personable and easy to work with!

Mark is so much more than just a photographer. He really gets to know you and your bridal party. Over the course of planning our wedding we met with Mark numerous times, per his request, to discuss our families, the types of pictures we like, and what we expect the day to be like. He creates a personalized plan for the day and is nothing but prepared. During the wedding day, Mark is on the ball. He ensures that the bridal party is on schedule and taking photos efficiently. He is incredibly easy to work with, and has a personality anybody can get along with. Also, if you are fortunate enough to have Mark's wife, Sheila assisting him on your special day, the two of them are a delight to work with. They each do their jobs well without overwhelming you. Mark goes above and beyond to make your day successful. He was present during our rehearsal, and even went as far as to scout each location we were to shoot photos at ahead of time. Mark Adrian is the very definition of "exceeds expectations", and we would recommend his service to any person for any occasion. His photos are absolutely beautiful, you will NOT be disappointed!

Mark provided the best photography I could have hoped for and went the extra mile. For example, on rehearsal night I

Mark and his wife were such an amazing team! Not only did they focus on us (the bride and groom), they made everyone at our wedding feel important on our big day! They have a vibrant energy that everyone feeds off of and it really shows in the compliments we received from everyone that attended our wedding. They are so very personable and I am still amazed at how they remembered so many names throughout the weekend when I know they meet hundreds of new people every weekend! I swear they had to practice que cards! We were married up near Traverse City and with was well worth it to have them travel to our destination! Our venue had very tight time constraints but they were able to work with that as much as possible. You want the best of the best in that situation! Highly Recommended and worth every penny!

Met Mark at the Palace last year and instantly KNEW he was THE ONE! Not only was he our photographer but he was there every step of the way when we needed something. He helped with the day of timeline, coordinated our rehearsal and on the BIG DAY he was by far the best person to have following us around all day. We did not a paparazzi photographer- Mark was patient and always allowed us to have our space while still getting all of the amazing shots. Mark & his team were PHENOMENAL!!!

Mark Adrian Photography was fun to work with and did a superb job on our wedding photos. Mark and Sheela kept everyone laughing and having fun all day. They went above and beyond their role as photographers as they made it a point to learn the names of everyone in the wedding party and immediate family, and were continually engaged with us and our wedding guests throughout the afternoon and evening. Many family members and friends commented on what a great job they did interacting with the guests and capturing every moment. We received our proofs extremely quickly (within three days!) and are thrilled with the results. We were immediately at ease when we met Mark for our initial consultation, and have had no reason to regret our decision since. Mark Adrian Photography is THE photographer to go to, and worth every penny.

Mark is absolutely wonderful, the quality of his work is beyond compare. He is truly gifted and a pleasure to work with, I would choose him again for any photography needs in a heartbeat.

I first saw his photos on the website for our venue, then by pure coincidence a few months later I met him at a bridal show and recognized his work. He was meant to be our photographer! He is so personable, charming, likable, and always professional. The initial consultation was very comprehensive - rather than simply showing his work and saying why we should choose him, he spent a lot of time getting to know all about us and our wedding details, etc. I was planning our wedding from out of state, and Mark was very accommodating in scheduling our engagement shoot for a day that we would be in Michigan so we didn’t have to make a special trip. My now-husband and I had never been professionally photographed like that, so we didn’t know what to expect. Mark put both of us at ease immediately and told me not to worry. He made the whole process so much fun for us, and we were both completely blown away when we saw the photos.

On our wedding day, Mark and Sheela captured everything that we wanted and more, while making everyone feel comfortable and happily excited as the photos were being taken. Mark’s smile and personality are simply infectious!

The photos themselves are simply breathtaking. More than once while viewing the proofs (which were delivered sooner and there was so much more than I’d expected) I found myself brought to tears at the way Mark and Sheila were able, through their photographs, to show the beauty and magic of our wedding day. We are so grateful that we were able to have them as such an important part of our wedding.

My mother and I met Mark at one of the Bridal Expo shows and we were immediately drawn to his work and his style. The candid photos were a style that my fiance and I would to capture our day. Your immediately drawn to his personality and humor. He and his wife were easy to work with, flexible and understanding. My husband and I could not have picked a better couple to have captured our day. We are so thankful we found someone who just took charge and just did their thing while you got to enjoy every minute of it. The prices are worth it, especially once you see the pictures and believe you me they are amazing. They are very friendly, laid back but very professional and you'll love to work with them.

My husband and I used Mark and his assistant Lindsay for our wedding photos last year, and we were incredibly impressed every step of the way! His level of talent, professionalism, and enthusiasm really helped complete our special day. He was more than we originally budgeted for but after meeting with him and seeing his work, we didn’t want anyone else. We cut costs elsewhere and chose his middle package, which included an engagement session, a framed engagement photo, 8 hours of photography the day of our wedding, a wedding album, and then some. It was 120% worth it!!

Mark really goes above and beyond. He made a real effort to know each of our bridal party and family members. He was our only vendor who knew everyone involved by name. Whenever we talk to people who were guests at the wedding, they almost always mention how much they enjoyed Mark. He really makes an impression for all the right reasons! I particularly appreciated how he was able to get photos of every guest. It was so much fun seeing so many photos of our guests having fun!

Mark also knows how to read people. When my husband was getting burnt out, Mark noticed and suggested taking a break. Wedding days can be extremely long and tiring, and I was so thankful to have a photographer who recognized and respected my husband’s need to have some time to relax.

Mark had teaser photos from both our engagement session and from our wedding up within hours of each shoot being over. The proofs (literally over 2000 high quality photos) were ready before what the contract promised. He was very patient as we chose the photos for our album, and was quick to edit album proofs once we made our choices.

From the first consultation all the way to when we received our album, Mark has been absolutely wonderful to work with! We could not have hoped for a better photographer!

I met Mark at a bridal show shortly after I became engaged. After talking to him for only a few minutes, I knew he was the photographer for us. His price was a bit more than we had budgeted for, but after spending the afternoon with him for our engagement photos and the entire day with him for the wedding, I would've gladly paid double and triple! We went to Downtown Detroit for our engagement photos since I am a die-hard Tigers fan. He knew all sorts of neat places to take us downtown to get some great shots. The day of the wedding, he was joined by his wife, Sheela. They would alternate between the bridesmaids and the groomsmen, making sure every shot was captured. They even held up traffic for us! No matter what picture or pose we wanted, they took it. It was raining a bit the day of the wedding, so Mark and Sheela were kind enough to be our personal chauffeur to each photo spot. They even had umbrellas on hand to let the bridal party use while they walked to each spot! Once all of the necessary photos were taken (and there was a little bit of downtime), Mark & Sheela made sure that anyone who wanted a photo taken got one. I have never met a photographer who is more involved with not only the bridal party, but the entire guest list! When it came time for them to leave, we said our goodbyes, but it seemed like every time I turned around they were snapping more photos! We just got our proofs back last night and I am in love! If you are looking for a phenomenal photographer, Mark is definitely the best choice!

Mark Adrian photography was one of the best parts of my wedding! My whole bridal party of 14 people absolutely loved him! So much so that they are now all facebook friends with him. The married ones even agreed that they all wish they could re do their weddings with him as their photographer. From the very first time my mom and I met with him, we knew that he was the perfect photographer for me! At Cam and I’s engagement shoot that thought was confirmed as he made that day so much fun and filled with laughter. He goes the extra mile in his photography, for example during our engagement shoot, there was a fair and he went in and asked an old fashioned popcorn stand worker if we could go inside and get a shot of us looking through the window! It was great and made for some cute pictures! It was evident again on our wedding day, when he stopped the traffic on a boardwalk so that our bridal party could have a soul train dance session…and those pictures are some of my favorite! Our wedding day was a blast and he was a big part of that! Mark and his assistant Lindsay captured our day and they were both so much fun to work with! They made taking pictures fun and feel natural! And we got the pictures back so fast that we were still on our honeymoon when we received the email! These pictures were amazing, I’m talking blow up your data plan on purpose because you can’t stop looking at them while out of the country amazing! The time and effort Mark puts into his work is clearly evident and we are so grateful we went with him! Seriously, he produces magazine cover type photos! Trust me when I say this….Your wedding day will go by so much faster than you think, and having a great photographer like Mark makes it so no matter how fast it may go by, you can look back on these pictures forever…because he literally captured everything! What can I say about Mark that hasn't already been said?!
My first experience with him happened when he shot my friend's wedding this past October. I was a bridesmaid so I got to spend a lot of time with him throughout the day. Mark REALLY knows what he's doing! He relieves the tension of the day and makes taking photographs easy! Nothing is ever "staged" or awkward. Sure, he'll pose you for a photograph or two, but he does it in such a way that makes everything feel natural. When he takes photos, something amazing happens. He does more than point and shoot at the subject, but rather he captures the emotions of the moment. I don't know how else to describe it other than magic!! I guarantee you that when he flips the camera around to give you a sneak peek or two, you might have to double take to be sure it's really you! His photos do more than just hang in a frame - they tell a story and serve as beautiful reminders of your special day. Mark and his partner Lindsay shot my wedding this past weekend and the two of them are an amazing duo. They float through the crowd effortlessly and you almost forget that they are there. They simply become a part of the day. It's a sad moment when they begin to pack up to leave at the end of the night :( Mark is truly one of the greats. Mark has been amazing! From day one, he has been professional yet personal and has continually wowed us with everything! He was great with our wedding party, learning everyone's names and even giving some nicknames. He impressed my mom by pronouncing her name correctly, which sounds little, but to her, it's huge! Mark and his team far exceeded our expectations! Mark was really great at making everyone relax during the wedding, and was able to efficiently corral everyone to get them where they needed to go for pictures. He was very flexible throughout the day, moved everything along quickly, and he was cognizant of how we were feeling and gave us breaks to go inside in the AC when needed. We also had a lot of fun with him, and he was really able to make everyone laugh and look natural in the photos. Our guests loved him! We have had several people tell us that they would recommend him to couples they know in the future. It was also great to have 2 photographers to capture different angles, and small moments that might otherwise be easy to miss.

Our pictures turned out beautifully, and we are very happy with the end result. It was raining much of our wedding day, but Mark was able to keep calm about the weather, and scope out great alternative spots for our portraits. You can't even tell that it was raining from our photos. Also, once it stopped raining, he made sure to grab us to get some nice outdoor shots. We were also thrilled with the quick turn around time for getting the pictures to us after the wedding. Our only regret was not having him stay longer to capture more moments later in the reception!

Mark is absolutely amazing! He was so fun to work with. We felt very relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire process, from picking our package, through our engagement session, and our wedding day. Mark had a timeline we discussed earlier which kept is on track the whole day. I also couldn't believe how quickly we were able to see our pictures. Before we even made it home from the reception, I had a email from Mark with some hilights from the day. The pictures he took were absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable, and gave several recommendations at the rehearsal which made the wedding go very smoothly. If you are looking for the best wedding photographer in the world, stop looking because you just found him (and his team). Mark's work is incredible! In addition, he is very charismatic and EVERYONE loves him! He helped make my sister's wedding perfect by going above and beyond the call of duty (not to mention his work is perfection)! Everyone was captivated by Mark as a person and super impressed with his work. Mark is highly educated and happens to be one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. Mark was able to capture some amazing shots of the wedding and reception. I liked the fact he was barely noticeable during the wedding but captured some great shots. I was like, "How did he get that shot, I didn't see him there?" The pictures of the reception were magnificent. I (Elisha) Just had my wedding November 1st, 2014. I Utilized Mark Adrian Photography for the photos. We first did an engagement session and his skills really impressed me then because he knew the exact poses that would look good and how to deal with outdoor lighting. He was extremely efficient with time and knew exactly how to utilize every moment. I was blown away at the resulting pictures so I knew he would do a great job at the wedding. Come wedding day of course it's hectic and time restricted but Mark and his wife Sheila were amazing! They got so many pictures in such restricted time frames. They didn't waste one moment! They captured every scene I requested. Every moment I ever wanted for my wedding since I was little they got! They were also very creative with poses and shots on the spot. They were extremely professional and friendly. Friends and family said they were amazing. I would 100% recommend them. So glad I used his services. My pictures came out great! My husband and I recently got married and used Mark as our photographer and were blown away by his work! When we first walked into his studio, we knew that we were making the right decision. Mark was so personable and made you feel right at home! He made us tea and showed us a bunch of his work and was extremely interested in who we were as a couple and how we wanted to go forward with our photos. We had an engagement session which was great, because my husband is not one who likes getting his picture taken, and especially posing for the camera; Mark made him feel so comfortable and my husband actually left the session saying that he had fun! When our wedding came, Mark brought his assistant, Lindsey and she was AMAZING as well! They both arrived early to the ceremony/reception and made our entire bridal party feel comfortable. Both Mark and Lindsey got us all of the photos that we wanted plus more! All of our wedding guests raved about how wonderful the photographers were and how much fun they were! I first met Mark at the Novi Bridal Expo, where I met about a dozen different photographers. What first stood out to me was that Mark did not ask if I had already booked a photographer, or when I was getting married. Instead he asked my name, how I was doing, and who was with me that day. He had a VERY welcoming personality and seemed genuinely interested in me as a person, not just as a bride, or as a sale. He introduced himself to all my bridesmaids who were with me as well. Before he even talked about prices or deals, he told me this, "Do not even think about prices when you look for photographers, even if you go with someone else other than me, look at the photos, look at the quality and the creativity." Let me tell you, I looked at many photos while I was there, but Mark's had the best quality, the bridal party always looked like they were having fun in the pictures, and there were mostly unique, candid pictures, rather than posing and rehearsed shots. Mark made such an impression on me with his caring and attentive personality that I couldn't remember any other photographer I had met that day. I'm so thankful that we hired him because we have so many great memories captured, and he made our whole bridal party and wedding guests feel comfortable when he was shooting our wedding. What's great is that Mark is THE photographer. He doesn't have a bunch of people working for him, so you're not wondering who will be photographing your wedding like some larger companies do. If you book with him early enough, all of his packages include an engagement session, then you meet with him to choose your engagement photos, then he also does his best to come to your wedding rehearsal too. You really get to know him and feel comfortable with him after all those meetings, which I think really makes a difference in the pictures! I would book with him again in a heartbeat for any other professional photos that I want taken again!

We are just THRILLED with our wedding and engagement photos! Mark was recommended to me by a good friend who is very particular about everything, so I trusted her recommendation from the beginning. Upon meeting Mark, we absolutely loved him instantly! He welcomed us to his warm and inviting studio, and was very organized in explaining his approach to capturing fantastic photos. He would frequently refer to his wall of previous client photos as examples, and always referred to them by first names as if long time friends. By the end of the consultation you genuinely want to be his client, and appear on that wall for the next potential clients to see and hear about with excitement. During the start of the engagement shoot, we were anxious about having our photos taken, but Mark has a way of putting you at ease and making you feel beautiful or handsome. The proof was in the photos! Upon reviewing the proofs several people commented “I want Mark to take my picture!” We don’t consider ourselves overly photogenic, but Mark found ways to capture ourselves looking our Very Best! We received numerous comments during the wedding and afterwards, recognizing how hard Mark and Lindsey worked the entire day. I wouldn’t consider another photographer, Mark is absolutely fantastic!

Mark Adrian Photography made our wedding day experience so enjoyable and fun that we couldn’t help but write a review.

I have to start by saying I was given Mark’s recommendation from my sister, which she had used Mark for her engagements photos the year before. I was unable to find time with my busy schedule to meet Mark before our wedding week but I had reviewed his work from his website and I liked what I had seen. Mark was super easy to talk to and work with, we had a unique private wedding up in Northern Michigan and Mark had no problem traveling north for us.

The day before the wedding, Mark arrived early afternoon and being that we still had never met in person he came by the rental home that we were staying and having the wedding. He and his wife Sheela were very personable and just fun to work with. They walked around the property with us and gathered ideas for the photographs for the next day. After they left from the short visit my wife and our families couldn’t stop talking about how nice Mark and Sheela were. There vibrant character made us feel special and excited for the next day.

The wedding day came and Mark arrived early with a detailed list of shots to complete. He was well prepared and never hesitated to take the shots or move furniture to make it happen. Very professional, fun loving couple that make the photography process so enjoyable. Marks attitude is contagious and you can’t help but smile.

Just two days after the wedding just a couple teaser shots were put up on Facebook and we were blown away! Beautiful, vibrant colors, and captured every moment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark Adrian Photography to anyone. You will get what you pay for and enjoy every minute of it.

Our engagement session (which was included) was one of the best things we could have done. We absolutely adore the photos, and it was our chance to get comfortable being photographed and to gain trust in our photographer. We were worry free on our wedding day and that was priceless!! They say a customer’s perception is your true reality. Well Congratulations Mark & Sheela because you are absolutely top notch across the board! You were by far one of the best parts of Nicole and Petes wedding!! Both professionally and personally you are first class! Let me be sure and point out that I was simply a bridesmaid in my dear friends wedding...But I was so blown away and so impressed from the entire experience with them that after I found myself telling friends, co-workers, and family about how wonderful they were, I figured why stop there ~ I should post a little something online to share with anyone who may be looking for “the perfect photographer”. Good news…you can stop looking!! Any photographer can show up with a camera, “clock in”, take some pics, and do a decent job. But they not only brought the cameras, they brought an energy and a magic that was the greatest gift of all! Everyone knows that enthusiasm is contagious ~ and theirs was abundant! What you don’t expect you are hiring a photographer, is that there are ones like Mark Adrian Photography who provide much more than a service of taking pictures. They are not only passionate about what they do, they truly seem passionate about their clients (AND the clients friends, family, and guests!) and make a personal investment that is heartfelt and genuine. Mark and his adorable wife Shelia were a fantastic duo in taking my daughter's wedding pictures. They were bubbly, creative and very accommodating. All of the bridal party were very comfortable with them. A bonus in using them is that Mark made great contributions for organizing the whole day for us in order to maximize our pictures and time. Mark and Sheela are an amazing, extremely talented team!! My now husband and I met Mark at a bridal show at the Dearborn Inn, and we hit it off immediately. We booked over a year in advance because we knew that GREAT photographers are hard to come by and we didn’t want to miss out. Not only do they take pictures amazing pictures, but they are so much fun to work with. We had previously done an engagement shoot with a different photographer, and were completely disappointed at the lack of creativity and ability of the photographer to direct and position us for great photographs. When we decided to go with Mark, he suggested an engagement shoot so he could get to know us, our personalities, which sides we looked best from, etc. We were a bit nervous in the beginning because of our previous engagement shoot experience, however this time was different. Mark not only took awesome and creative photos, but he made the process enjoyable and made us genuinely laugh. After the engagement session, I didn’t even care how the pictures ultimately turned out because of how much fun we had running around Downtown Detroit (the pictures of course turned out PHENOMINALLY!!). We still receive compliments on them. Mark and Sheela really make an effort to get to know you as a couple and we felt that was incredibly important when you are sharing a special (and stressful) event in your life with them. Throughout the wedding day they knew when to make us laugh when we were stressed out, but also when to be serious so we got the photos we wanted and stayed on schedule. They have a great calming sense to them and make everything fun! Also their eye for different, unique shots is stunning. It is definitely not the standard cookie cutter wedding pictures! We had an absolute blast working with them. They will not just be our wedding photographers but our go to photographers for other special events/moments in our life! There is not a price tag you can put on that.

Both Mark and his wife were a pleasure to work with. They were fast to respond to any emails (my preferred way of communicating), and flexible with my limited budget. While taking the pictures they made everyone feel comfortable and gave helpful hints in order to look your best. When taking the picture they shot a ton with multiple different angles so there are plenty to pick from. To future brides i would requirement having a photographer who will do engagement shots even if you don't plan on buying any. It was a great way for Mark to get to know us and us, him.

Mark Wright did a great job during my engagement and wedding photo event. He made sure that my husband and I remembered each moment as I look back on the pictures. Not only are Mark and Sheela true gems to work with, they have a wealth of information to help on your wedding day. They brought up several ideas that I had never even thought of (considering first looks with both my groom and my dad for example). We had a VERY tight timeline the day of the wedding to get the pictures that I wanted due to the venue. However Mark and Sheela managed to get every shot I wanted and SO much more. They are artistic and creative and a blessing to work with. They got to know my guests and everyone ranted and raved about how amazing they were. The Quality of Service that was provided was above expectations, exactly what I expected. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Mark and Sheela were throughout my entire wedding and wedding planning process. Not only are they truly genuine people, THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF!

They were 100% organized to make sure that we got every shot that I would ever want or need. I did not have to stress or worry about any aspects regarding the photos of my wedding. I knew that they had everything under control from start to finish. Mark was very thorough in making sure he knew every area we would be taking photos... so I didn't have to!

Additionally, our photos look beautiful. They made sure to advise us on where to place our hands and their are no "awkward" moments in our photos :). Something I thought was impossible! They were amazing with my guests as well, taking over 6000 photos throughout the day. They were always behind the scenes, but somehow helped carryout the overwhelming feeling of love and happiness in the room. Everyone felt welcome and important because Mark and Sheela made sure to make their rounds and get shots of so many guests.

I truly felt like it was meant to be to have Mark and Sheela shoot my wedding. Sheela even offered me her shoes (at least 4 times!) when we were walking Greenfield Village. They were so excited for everything to go perfectly for me.

I met Mark at the Novi bridal expo and from the moment we exchanged hello's, I was immediately sucked in by his charisma and personality. There was an energy coming from his booth that I knew I needed to have at my wedding. The moment I left the expo I called my husband and told him I found our photographer. We immediately arranged a meeting to sit down and talk with Mark and give my husband a chance to meet him. Let's just say the meeting went very well and we hadn't even left Mark's driveway before we both agreed that he was it!
The engagement session was awesome. Mark knew exactly what to say and had energy and fun personality. He had a way of making us feel comfortable and care free. This was something that we really valued because our daughter tends to be shy. From the minute Mark met our daughter she was instantly comfortable and taking beautiful photos.
On our wedding day, Mark blew us away again! He and Sheela were welcoming and took the time to get to know our bridal party. They were both fun, upbeat, and full of energy. Their energy helped calm my nerves and made me feel comfortable to the fullest extent. Mark and Sheela were very professional, yet were able to let loose and have some fun too. Our guests all really enjoyed taking pictures and have made comments on how well they liked our photographers!
After the wedding, Mark was very prompt to get our proofs done and sent them right away. What a pleasant surprise to get those two weeks earlier than expected!!
Overall, Mark and Sheela were very professional, great personality, respectful, thorough, energetic, and take EXCELLENT photos! They were top of the line and you will definitely love your photos!

Mark did an excellent job on our wedding day. I had no idea how much of a role photography played in a wedding and Mark did not disappoint. He was even present at the rehearsal and made an effort to get to know both of our families. We felt like top priority for the entire day! Even our families could not stop complimenting our photographers. The pictures are beautiful! Mark Adrian Photography is highly recommended!

I met Mark at the Novi Bridal Expo where he had a booth set up. At a first glance I was extremely impressed with his work. When engaging in conversation with him about his work, pricing and whether or not he had availability on my wedding date he really encouraged me to take time looking at not only his booth but others before I made a decision. He was so friendly and interested in getting to know me personally. I went off to continue looking around when I ran into another photographers booth. He asked, "Do you have a photographer for you wedding?" I said, "I think I have one picked out." He replied "you think, than you don't?." He continued to ask who I was interested in and when I did he took a step back and said, "Whao! He is AWESOME, I can't compete with that, however if you want something a little less expensive then I am your guy, but you definitely won't go wrong with Mark." After I heard Mark's potential competitor share such honorable remarks, I new he was the guy for us! He didn't try to persuade me into booking him, in fact when I came back to his booth he offered to hold my June 1st date for 24 hours before booking him as he wanted to allow us time to look over his contract as he realized its an investment for couples and wanted to make sure we (my fiancé & I) agreed with the contract. We booked him the next day and it was the second best decision my husband and I made in regards to our wedding, besides marrying each other! He was so much fun to work with. He puts tons of time into the couples he works with. He tries hard to come to the dinner rehearsal so he can meet family and get to know the area for shooting great pictures. He is so organized, the wedding would not have ran as smooth as it did without him! He had an agenda ready to go on the wedding day. Mark was very relaxed, professional, personable, funny and creative. We had many many compliments on his work along with his assistant. They really made the party! They are the best of the best!!! :)

Mark did both our engagement and our wedding photo and we couldn't be more happy! ^_^ We LOVE our photos! I look at them and can't believe how well they turned out.

Mark was excellent, always making us and our guests comfortable. All my guests boasted about our photographer when we got back, even before the pictures came out. It was so important to have someone who was outgoing and fun as our photographer, as we are a bit shy, and cameras are scary :P.

He was able to come to our wedding rehearsal which made a huge impact, helped us plan parts of the ceremony, without ever being pushy ^_^.

He also worked with our furry family member who was terribly distracted.

I am so grateful for his time and effort and can't wait to get my album!!

There really aren't enough words to describe how pleased we are with Mark Adrian Photography. As background, my husband and I can be high maintenance and extremely detail oriented when it comes to events as we are both in that profession. We knew Mark was the right fit for us after our first visit. He is a rare composition of creativity with a strong business sense. The photos from our engagement and wedding sessions are incredibly unique. I had several comments from my guests/event colleagues who said how impressed they were with Mark and his wife Sheela. Both were onsite for our wedding day and really captured all of the special moments. They exceeded our high expectations, not only providing stellar photos but also keeping things organized and running smoothly throughout the entire wedding day. They are professionals in every sense and we look forward to using them in the future once our family starts growing.

When my (then) fiancé came home from the bridal show up at the Palace I asked her how the day went. She replied back "It was crazy, overwhelming, and exhausting but I met the most amazing photographer!"
A month later, we met with Mark and we both knew right away that he was the photographer we were going to go with. Mark's passion, enthusiasm, and creativity really set him apart from other photographers. The photos he showed us from previous clients really had a spark that we knew we wanted in our photos.
The next time we met with Mark was for our engagement photos. It ended up being a great opportunity to get to work with Mark and for him to get to know us a little better. The photos from that day turned out amazing and we just knew our wedding photos would be just as great.
On the day of the wedding, Mark and his assistant photographer (and wife) Shelia were on time, professional, cordial, and classy. Before the ceremony, they took photos of the ladies getting ready and then came over to the church. During the ceremony, they were discrete and knew where to be to get the best shots without being in the way (mostly because they knew what to expect because Mark had taken the time to come to the wedding rehearsal the night before). After the ceremony, he and Shelia followed the limo to Belle Isle, where we had the bulk of our photos taken. Our time on Belle Isle was very limited but the session went smoothly because Mark had driven to the location a few days earlier, at the same time of day, to scope out the very best places to get photos and it shows in the amazing shots he got. There are so many great photos that it has been really hard to narrow down which ones we want in our albums.
I've been told that it is hard to find photographers who can consistently take amazing shots and it is equally as hard to find photographers that are easy and fun to work with. Mark is definitely the best of both! My wife and I can not recommend him highly enough.

My daughter and I met Mark at a wedding show at the Holiday Inn. Mark was one of the first vendors we stopped at with several more to see during that busy day. Mark introduced himself and explained in a brief conversation what to look for when choosing a photographer for her special day. That conversaton was a lasting impression for Amy and I. Mark was friendly and had a outstanding personality! These were just the qualities we were looking for.
Amy & Kevin scheduled an appointment with Mark & Sheila and were very pleased with them. They booked them for their special day.

On the morning of the wedding we met with Mark and his wife Sheila at amy's dads house. While we were getting our makeup and hair done, Mark and Sheila were taking pictures while getting acquainted with the bridal party and parents. They were alot of fun and made everyone feel like family and at ease. This was important to us.

At the church and reception many beautiful unique pictures were taken. Mark and Shiela were friendly and accommodating to our family and friends who wanted pictures also. Over all we were very happy with Mark and Shelia as our childrens photographers. We would highly recommend them.
