Marissa was so fun to shoot with! As a videographer the relationship between the photo team and the video is key to a smooth day, and Marissa made it a blast. Relaxed and confident and a great creative mind to bounce ideas back and forth. Her work speaks for it self but I just wanted to mention how great she was to work with. -

Excellent Photographer
We’ve only gotten back our sneak peak, but those alone are amazing. Marissa did a great job at our wedding, along with her second photographer. She was kind and willing to take all the shots we wanted, and was also good at sneaking to take shots when we weren’t looking. We can’t wait to see the rest of the photos she took! My only feedback would be she could embrace bossing people around more, especially for weddings like ours with big unruly families and bridal parties who can’t keep their mouths shut. Thank you for your amazing work, Marissa! -

Marissa went above and beyond for us. She was quick to respond, professional, and kind, she has great timing for the perfect candid shots, which are my favorites! The best part, she had several sneak-peaks emailed to us that very night. That was the best surprise! -

Look no further!
Marissa is amazing. I found her page on Facebook and from there it was easy peasy. Do you need an artist that gets the vision? Look no further. She is so talented and kind, and has an amazing dedication to her craft. She was totally down to drive out in the sticks and stay with us in freezing weather to get our dream winter wedding pictures. Marissa also made the process incredibly smooth, and provided tons of helpful advice and things to consider that I hadn't even thought of! We got a 6 hour package on a great special, but to be quite honest I am surprised her normal prices are so affordable. That was a concern for me as we didn't have an endless budget, and I felt like a lot of photographers started at much higher prices. It is greatly appreciated and I think that she could even charge more for the fantastic service, and keen artistic eye. Marissa also offers some really cool printing services and products which we will be using. Whatever you need, Marissa has got your back. Book her time asap!! You won't be disapppointed!! -

Worth every dollar!
Marissa is super responsive, friendly and professional. She made us feel so comfortable and she guided us through everything. This was our second photo session ever and she was so helpful. From the minute we met her for our session, she was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We were visiting from California so she even gave some advice on local places to visit. It was truly a pleasure working with her. -

In the middle of a pandemic, full of unknowns and cancellations and postponements, Marissa was one of the vendors we kept for our small ceremony. And I’m so so glad we did. She was so understanding, so flexible, and so so talented. She got our photos back so quickly and they are amazing. -

Amazing from day one.
I can’t express enough how amazing Melissa is. She is friendly and both my husband and I instantly liked her. From the moment we met her we knew! I think we talked about it for an hour before we connected her and wanted to book her services. She kept in contact with us throughout the year as we had booked her well in advance. She was super flexible the day of because our wedding party’s timeline was off. She got us sneak peaks the next day and the full gallery a week later. Just incredible. Will be using her services again as soon as we are allowed for have larger gatherings. -

A phenomenal experience for a lovely outdoor wedding
We were fortunate to have Marissa as our wedding photographer and are so happy with the phenomenal photos and service she provided! Marissa was professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and most importantly is just a down to earth awesome person. She worked with us to find the photo style we wanted and helped us find a package that was a good fit too. She really listened to what we wanted for our special day. We were not interested in photographs of the wedding party prepping for the occasion, a personal preference in my opinion. Marissa completely understood, while other photographers really tried to pushed us into those as part of a particular package etc. Additionally, she did an amazing job of working with everyone for the family photos even those with “big” personalities. Marissa took candid photos of our event with a great eye for fun and unique moments that we could look back on. We look forward to working with Marissa again in the future because she really is such a talented photographer and a joy to work with. If you are looking for an excellent photographer in the Portland area I cannot recommend her enough. -

Perfection

Marissa is amazing. She watched the weather for you and is willing to change the dates as needed. Is willing to travel wherever you need to be. She gives great prof advice. She helps you find everything you need especially when you’re in an unfamiliar area. She is flexible professional helpful fun friendly and just the best. Her QUALITY is OUTSTANDING. Marissa has been so easy to work with during this whole process. She just did our engagement photos and will be shooting our wedding in September. She suggested such a great spot for our shoot. We actually loved it so much that we are using it as our ceremony location! My fiance and I are definitely not used to being in front of the camera but Marissa made us feel comfortable and was good at directing different poses. We cant wait to have her there for our Special day.
Updating now that the wedding is over! Marissa was truly the calm during the storm on our wedding day. She was a breath of fresh air and our photos came out better than I ever could have imagined! I can’t recommend her enough. -
