Great custom engagement rings

An amazing group of individuals that worked tirelessly to get me exactly the ring I was searching for. The process was professional, efficient and very straightforward throughout. I worked primarily with Mila and I can't recommend her enough. My fiance could not have loved her ring more. The Marissa Perry team even worked to integrate an heirloom diamond, making the end result all the more special for my fiance.

Beyond impressive!

My fiancé and I could not be happier with our service, experience, and of course our RINGS from Marisa Perry Atelier! Not only do I receive compliments almost daily on my engagement ring, but during the times that we have visited Marisa Perry to pick our our wedding bands, get my ring cleaned, or even just to say hi (the staff is THAT friendly!) we've always had a beyond pleasurable experience. Every staff member is attentive, knowledgable, approachable, and so helpful. I will continue to be a loyal customer and could not recommend another jeweler more!

Incredible in EVERY way!

Where do I even begin when discussing how incredible our experience has been with Marisa Perry Atelier? As an opera singer, I know that when words can no longer express how you’re feeling, you need to break out into song to fully express your emotions. Well, I could sing a 6 hour opera about how incredible our experience has been with Marisa Perry and Douglas Elliott! From the moment we walked into their store, the staff made us feel completely comfortable, well taken care of, and that this process meant as much to them as it did to us.

My fiancé had a wonderful idea for what he wanted for my engagement ring, and Douglas turned that idea into an even more gorgeous reality than we could have dreamed of. He walked us through different cut and setting options, helped us choose the perfect diamond, and created the most stunning ring I have ever seen. Marisa helped us pick out the classiest and most incredibly ‘us’ wedding bands—and treated us to lovely sparking rosé wine while doing so!

I receive compliments on my ring every single day, and recommend everyone we know to head straight to Marisa once they see it. Whether it’s for an engagement ring, a statement necklace, or any other piece of fine jewelry, I know that they will receive the unparalleled quality of care and craftsmanship that only Marisa and Douglas can provide.

From the moment you’re greeted at the door, Marisa Perry Atelier provides their customers with a first-class experience. It was an absolute pleasure working with Nesrine who quickly turned an overwhelming and nerve-racking experience into a fun and engaging one. She took the time to educate and explain all the intricacies of a diamond to me as we collaborated to design the perfect engagement ring for my now fiancée. Throughout the entire process Nesrine along with the rest of the MP staff demonstrated superior service and proved to be masters of their craft as the finished product was absolutely breathtaking!

Best bespoke engagement rings

Got my engagement ring here last year. 18k rose gold, round cut, halo, pave, 1.5mm band. Received ssssoooo many compliments from people, even strangers. A Tiffany's sales representative in Toronto asked me where I got my ring and thought it was from Tiffany's New York, and proud to say it was from a boutique mom and pop shop in West Village.

Wonderful!

My fiancé had a such a wonderful experience picking out my (beyond beautiful) engagement ring with Nesrine at Marisa Perry that we had to come back to pick out our wedding bands! Nesrine (and all of the staff at MP) were warm, helpful, and open to our own personal style and budget. The jewelry is unique, classic, and very well crafted!

The best experience all around!

Marisa Perry is the absolute best! I couldn’t imagine my engagement ring or wedding band coming from anywhere else. Great Experience

Was thrilled with my experience at Marisa Perry and most importantly, the ring came out perfect – luckily my now Fiancé agrees. I worked with Mila although it felt like the entire store was there to help. Mila did a fantastic job guiding me and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Mila was knowledgeable, patient, transparent and communicative. I went to the store multiple times to discuss ideas before finally looking at diamonds and didn’t feel any pressure to quickly make a decision. Each time I went, I felt like I could take my time to build the perfect ring. Once I decided to move forward and narrowed to 2 stones from the many beautiful ones that Mila picked out, the whole staff helped me make the final decision. Cost and timeline was clear the entire time and my Fiancé and I couldn’t have been happier with the result.

I love my ring and Marisa Perry!

I can not recommend Marisa Perry more highly. My fiancé and I worked with Neil to pick out my engagement ring, and were also able to meet with Douglass. Everyone in the store was an absolute pleasure to work with and very patient as well. The ring is magnificent, even more beautiful than I imagined, and I cannot wait to go back for our wedding bands!

Exceptional Service from Start to Finish

From start to finish, the entire team- Mila, Nesrine and Marisa- made what could have been an overwhelming experience, completely seamless. They never put pressure on and were there to answer all of my questions. And, their work turned out even better than imagined. My fiancee and I went to Tiffanys, Cartier and other high end stores, but from customer service to the end product, Marisa Perry hands down stands out. We highly recommend them and will be buying our wedding bands and much non-wedding related jewelry from them in the future. You really can't go wrong.

Wedding Band Dreams Come True!

Wedding Band dreams do come true with thanks to Marisa Perry Atelier! My now husband had my engagement ring made by Douglas and I knew I wanted my wedding band made by him as well, he is a genius! I emailed and got the most wonderful response from Mila, whom I worked with through the custom process. Douglas's work is truly exquisite and he created the most incredible custom design for me that is a perfect match for my engagement ring. For my husbands wedding band, we decided on a Christian Bauer design and Mila ordered them for us and ensured it was exactly what we wanted! Her attention to detail, responsiveness and kindheartedness are unmatched! I cannot thank everyone at the Marisa Perry Atelier enough - all around I had a dream experience through and through! I cannot recommend Marisa Perry enough! My sister (who had an idea of a type of ring I loved) and fiancée (who supposedly did hours of research on diamonds) collaborated with the staff at Marisa Perry to create the most perfect ring I've ever seen. My sister and fiancée said that the staff was extremely easy to work with, friendly, and knowledgeable. I, also, recently stopped in the store to ask a question and they were so kind and didn't let me leave before giving my ring a complementary clean! I left with with SPARKLING. I will 100% be using them in the future and I recommend them to everyone!

I came into Marisa Perry with a general idea of what I wanted, but had no idea what actually went into getting an engagement ring. When I arrived they were very welcoming and made me feel at ease in what can be a very intimidating situation. I met with Mila, who started by asking me what I DID know. It wasn’t much, but she took my input and started showing me settings that were in line with what I wanted. Mila showed me everything that I asked for and was helpful and understanding every step of the way. Even when I threw a curveball at her at the last minute, she came through with the perfect stone. You know you have the right place when you call the store and they recognize your voice. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back to get our wedding bands

We cannot recommend Marisa Perry enough. Everyone in the store is welcoming and friendly and makes you feel at home. We worked with them on for my engagement ring, wedding band and husband's wedding band... primarily with Nesrine. She is a gem (pun intended) and always so happy to see us when we visit the store. They are always happy to clean my rings at a moment's notice as well. In addition to rings, they have a lovely assortment of classic jewelry pieces. Nesrine now knows my taste which has come in very handy for anniversary gifts! All in all- a beautiful, neighborhood jeweler!

My husband decided to buy my engagement ring at Marisa Perry after looking at several options in New York City. We checked out other boutiques and while all had their unique styles we decided upon Marisa Perry because we decided that they have the best Diamond Micro Pave work that we saw. I wanted diamonds on my band and I had very strong feelings about getting my ring from Marisa Perry because I loved how beautiful micro pave is. I also got a matching diamond wedding band from Marisa Perry and I am very happy because the band sits flush to the engagement ring which is exactly what I wanted.

My friend was looking for an engagement, but was concerned about buying a stone produced in an unethical way. I recommended Marisa Perry to her because I know they only carry conflict-free stones. Mila helped us in the store - she understood our concerns and told us all about the Forevermark diamonds sold at the store. They are traced directly from the diamond mines. She told us that not only would we be refusing to buy a conflict stone, but we would also be supporting the communities of people who live around the mines where the Marisa Perry stones are sourced from. I was very impressed with how competent and informed the sales representatives were at the store. My friend bought her ring there and I will be returning myself!

Excellent place to shop. My fiancee told me about this place because a colleague of hers got her ring her. Apparently she went in her a few times before my appointment and the staff was ready with all of her recommendations. Nesrine helped me to pick the perfect diamond based on my girlfriend's specifications. What I loved about the experience was that I felt like Nesrine was working with me to get the best diamond for the value. She told me where I should spend money on the diamond and where I could save money. At the end of the day my now fiancee is in love with her ring.

What a special experience! I highly recommend! Personal and warming customer service that is as rare in this city as their exquisite and unique designs!! I came across Marisa Perry Atelier on Instagram and had to see their work in person at their beautiful meat-packing location. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and was made to feel welcome and at home. I had a great time shopping at Marisa Perry Atelier. I brought my wife's engagement ring here and she is very happy with it. I worked with Nesrine Hamati who sat me down and had me look at a wide variety of stones and guided me in selecting the perfect stone. I was really nervous about buying a diamond because I had no experience with diamonds and they are very expensive. All of my concerns about buying a diamond were assuaged thanks to Nesrine's forthright manner of educating me about diamonds a diamond prices.
I selected a ring with diamond micro pave down the shank of the ring. Nesrine explained to me the process of how their micro pave was created by their jeweler under a microscope. All of their jewelry is made in New York City and the final product is super impressive.

Marisa and Douglas have the most perfect jewelry store in all of NYC. The new store is absolutely gorgeous and the staff make you feel like family. To say that the customer service is amazing is an understatement. You feel at home the second you walk in! Everyone is friendly and super helpful. I tried on a dozen different rings to figure out what ring I truly wanted and the staff was so attentive. They worked with my fiancé to create the perfect engagement ring that.. a radiant cut diamond set in rose gold with a pink diamond halo. It is just perfect and I could not be happier. My ring shines like no other and I get complimented on it everywhere I go. Gentlemen, if you want to find your girl the perfect engagement ring, do yourself a favor and go to Marisa Perry now!

I brought pearls for my friend's wedding party. My fiend was very happy with the pearls. Marisa told me that they had an excellent luster and that they would be particularly attractive because of that. She compared several strands for me and showed me which one was the best. Marisa and Douglas make an exceptional team, and in return, the customer gets a high level of personalized service and a high quality, often customized, finished product. The relationship started with engagement ring shopping. My fiancé was intrigued by their unparalleled micro-pave work. While I had a good idea of what my fiancé was looking for in a ring, I visited a number of jewelry stores – Harry Winston, Tiffany’s, Cartier, Van Cleff & Arples, Kwiat, among others. After all, this was one of the more costly purchases of my life, and definitely the most meaningful one, so I was determined to get it “right”. Marisa and Douglas set themselves apart on a number of levels – (1) custom nature: I liked being able to pick the loose diamond that would be set. Looking at pre-set diamonds was not the same. Douglas brought in about 10 - 15 loose stones within certain parameters that allowed me to assess the trade-offs between carat weight, cut, color and clarity – we narrowed it down over time and found the stone that exhibited the features that I valued most; (2) patience: the team at Marisa Perry worked many hours to earn my trust and the sale – they taught me some of the nuances of diamond industry and demonstrated a sincere eagerness to deliver a high quality product that would leave my fiancé elated; (3) value: after comparative shopping, I’m convinced that I could not have gotten a better value (high quality for the price); (4) ring setting: my fiancé wanted a specific type of diamond, but the setting was of equal importance. The Larisa setting is unique because it allows the wedding band(s) to fit flush against the engagement ring. For instance, the comparable setting at Harry Winston does not allow for this fit, which leaves space between the engagement ring and wedding band; and (5) boutique feel: the experience was more than a simple business transaction. Marisa, Douglas, Bob, Roberto and others have went out of their way to make sure that I am a satisfied customer.

In addition to the engagement ring, I have since purchased our wedding bands which were also customized and engraved. Furthermore, I purchased a custom set of diamond earrings that match the design of my wife’s engagement ring. When my wife and I returned from our honeymoon, Marisa Perry set some loose pearls in a pair of earrings and a necklace. In short, they can do it all, and they turned a single sale into a lifelong customer relationship. Their quality is very comparable (or better) to top notch, well known stores, and their service is awesome – highly personal and professional. I highly recommend that you visit their boutique store or their website and see what they can offer.

My husband and I purchased our wedding bands from Douglas at Marisa Perry. He was a pleasure to work with and really took his time to get to know us and what we were looking for. He also repaired and reset my engagement ring - not something he would typically do for a ring purchased elsewhere. I have received countless compliments on my wedding band. Marisa Perry is an exceptional jeweler. I worked with Douglas and Bob to create my wife's engagement ring and also to craft our wedding bands. As a total novice to the jewelry game (never bought a piece before in my life), Bob and Douglas guided me to help me make the right decision for both my wife and my budget. The ring itself is exquisite. It was custom made and they worked with me to make sure that the ring was truly one of a kind. After more than a year, my wife continues to get compliments from everyone from her best friends to total strangers. It's the biggest investment that many people have made up to this point in their life and there is no better partner to help make that big decision than Marisa Perry.

I found the engagement ring of my dreams at Marissa Perry. My husband's friend is a jeweler so he got the stone elsewhere and the setting from Marissa and it is abosuletly stunning. I have never seen anyone with a setting like mine and I havent seen it in the shop since so i think it is a one of a kind. I love it and even though i have been married for 6 months already i still cant stop staring at my engagement ring.

I got my engagement ring, wedding band, and husbands wedding band at Marisa Perry Atlier. The store is amazing, with a wide selection of unique rings and jewelry. The staff is funny and friendly and will work within your budget, which is very hard to find in nyc!

Marisa and Douglas helped me design my wedding band - I had a design that I found online and liked but wanted to make a few tweaks to make it my own. Designing a ring is scary - there's no going back once it's done but they were so helpful and attentive throughout the whole process, going above and beyond to make sure that we were absolutely in love with the ring. We'll going back to see them for all our fine jewelry in the future!

I got my dream engagement ring at Marisa Perry. Then I got my matching wedding band there too, and they made my husband the band he wanted and it was perfect.
They have a huge assortment of gorgeous jewelry, but they are superb at designing engagement rings. Douglas (Marisa's husband) can make you anything and is a master of his trade. I have never and will never see a ring like mine - he designed it.
They will work with you no matter what your budget, are super nice (not snobby), and are funny and really lovely people who love what they do. They gave us some great prices on our rings and we'll be customers for life.

This store is cute and quant, and the people working here really love what they do. I can always come here to get my jewelry cleaned, they know my fiancees name, and they guarantee their work, which is really important when purchasing something so valuable. The most important thing is that they are NOT pushy in the least bit; if you are not ready to commit, they will never corner you into buying anything until you are absolutely ready.

Although Marisa Perry is not the most economical vendor, I still think you do get a lot out of coming here for your engagement and wedding rings. Try them and see for yourself!

Essentially, we bought my husband's wedding band from Marisa Perry, and when I went to pick it up, the engraving was wrong -- and instead of trying to fix the situation, Marisa's husband yelled at me for 15 minutes and told me to call his wife. When I did, she didn't apologize, but did say she would fix the ring. When I went to pick up the supposedly "fixed" ring, they'd done the right engraving on the wrong ring! When they "fixed" it again, it ended up being the wrong size -- even though my husband had gone in twice to make sure he'd been properly sized. Thank god he'd decided to buy a cheapo ring on Amazon as a backup -- he's been wearing that since the wedding!

It was a terrible experience, and I would never recommend them to anyone. If you're ring-shopping in that neighborhood, check out SoHo Gem, where we found my wedding band. Beautiful selection, lovely service, no yelling involved.
