We recently had the pleasure of hiring Marinas Catering for my daughter’s wedding; we couldn’t be happier with our choice! From start to finish the experience was exceptional.
The meal consisted of fresh salad, rolls, chicken Alfredo, and ground sirloin rigatoni. Everything was delicious! The Alfredo was creamy and perfectly seasoned and the rigatoni was a comforting favorite.
What really set Marinas Catering apart, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond our expectations! Their attentiveness to my husband and I as the parents of the Bride, to the Bride and Groom, as well as to our guests made for a wonderful and stress-free experience.
As an event decorator and wedding coordinator myself, I highly recommend Marinas Catering for ANY event. I look forward to working with them in just three short months as the wedding coordinator for my niece’s wedding.

Wedding Catering
The catering company came on time to set up. They had all their gear ready to serve. They were efficient in preparing for the cocktail hour as well as the dinner. They were flexible with the serving time given that the reception timeline was running a bit late. As the venue managers, we were very grateful for their high quality service, excellent customer service, and speedy clean up.

If you’re looking for really good food, desserts, and drink packages, your search ends here! Marina’s Catering has it all. My guests were all very happy with the delicious food, and desserts. Everyone kept complimenting how much they enjoyed their meal. Also, the staff were very welcoming, polite, and attentive. Their leader was very communicative and competent. I didn’t have to worry about anything when at the party. She was just waiting for my “go”, felt confident they had everything under control, and all my 100 guests were very well attended. Their owner Mr. Al was very responsive every time I reached out to him. He offered great help when I was making decisions in regards of what options to get from the menu, and he was very flexible and professional. Upscale and Friendly
The food is delicious and the service was top notch. The menu is very affordable. It was easy to communicate what I was looking for and they hit the mark. From the butler's service during cocktail hour to checking on all of the tables after serving made the dinning feel very upscale. The servers are very professional and polite. My guests were impressed that the servers visited their tables several times throughout to see if anyone needed anything. I highly recommend Marinas Catering.

Your staff of 3 was amazing. They were on time, set up so smoothly and quickly. They were gracious, friendly, accommodating and above all friendly. We feel they went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order. The food was great and enjoyed by all. The pork was especially good. Everything was hot and when it came time for packing up, again, it was done so smoothly and efficiently that I never noticed. Please extend a big thank you to your wonderful ladies for exceeding our expectations.
If anyone asks, I would not hesitate to give a full recommendation.

Best Experience Ever!
Al was always available by email or phone call; answering every question, adding extra people last minute and giving insight to the final menu, which was perfect! Al also generously gave desserts that were beyond delicious and a hit with all! The staff was so exemplary professional; setting up quickly with such expertise, serving all the quests with a smile in the most timely fashion ever seen, clearing tables at just the right time and touching base prior to leaving! All the food was delicious with many going for seconds! Never had so many compliments about food prior! Our Christmas Gala was truly an awesome success, thanks to Marinas, whom we will definitely use again!

World Class Service At An Affordable Rate!
Al and his team catered my wedding on June 23 and from the first tasting we knew this was the catering team we wanted to work with.
The food was so good - we canceled our other tastings - and we were able to combine menus to offer everything that we enjoyed. Al was very personable and answered all of my questions through the entire process and the pricing felt very fair for what we got.
The team also served my husband and me which we weren’t expecting. It was a nice touch!

We had marinas catering do our HS basketball banquet . Staff was friendly and professional we had the Latin package and it was delicious all the parents and players were raving about it. March wedding at Sterling Event Center, Mineola.
Marinas Catering showed up on time and provided a very professional polite service. We had the chicken cutlets and the flank steak. We had the salad bowtie, pasta, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. Everything was great. Reviews from all the guests were wonderful. The staff was very helpful in set up and clean up and I appreciate it greatly. The desserts were very tasty. We ordered three sheet cakes, all of which the guest love. Thank you for a wonderful wedding service Al!

As this was one of my first experiences with a vendor, I was nervous when the process wasn’t EXACTLY like the other two vendors I had booked. Al was very considerate and heard me out on my concerns. He made it a point to personally call to reassure me and explain his process. That was very important to me and sealed the deal on my decision to go with his company. I heard nothing but great things from all of our guests on the quality of the food. The service team was very sweet and helpful!! Packing up and labeling the left over food was so kind and above and beyond in my eyes.

Above and beyond my expectations
I will start by saying, as a self proclaimed foodie and with a family that has some of the best cooks from Italy, I was on a mission to find a great catering service. Marinas catering service went above and beyond my expectations. Al, the owner is more than just a great chef and business owner. He cares. He made our experience one of the most memorable in the process of planning our wedding. We had a change in our guest list and needed a solution. He even called me from his vacation in Italy to ease my nerves! This is hands down the best catering service I’ve ever worked with. Not only are they professional but very personal. Our wedding was beautiful the food was wonderful and I felt cared for and as if I was his only client. If you are looking for a catering service with fantastic food, personal touches and great prices, look no further. Hire them!! From the moment I connected with Al, he was professional and understanding to my needs and wants. I asked for a tasting and he gave us exactly the quality and flavor we wanted for our Daughter's Engagement Party. As we all know food and music are most important. The staff was super friendly, professional, and courteous. I loved that they came around to clear the guests plates. That was important for me! The cake shots were delicious and a HUGE hit!! There was so much food leftover, seven of us ate from it on Sunday dinner. Sent to my neighbors and my mother (picky eater) who loved the food so much at the party, she wanted more. Donot walk but run to to book your date. I searched for catering companies and the prices were outrageous for what the want to give you.

Our experience
We just got married on April 20th and had the pleasure of being served by Marinas. We chose the Spanish style pulled pork which was flavorful and moist, the lemon breaded chicken cutlet which we also tasted prior, we were a bit disappointed with this one. At our tasting I commented how being that it's breaded I think it would get soggy, Marinas assured us this doesn't happen, I REALLY enjoyed it at our tasting so reluctantly we chose it and it did in fact get soggy. We also chose the black beamn rice which everyone enjoyed. During cocktail hour a couple of servers came out to where we were taking pics and I asked them to please put a tray with each cocktail hour item inside the house so that we could try them after taking photos (we had about 50% attendance so there should have been plenty to do this for me) and this wasn't done, unfortunately i cannot comment on those items. Overall the process from start to finish was seamless, they packaged up the left over food from dinner and set it in the house for us. They were kind in making sure we were satisfied with what we were served. Dessert was excellent my guests are still talking about it. Thank you Marinas for helping make our evening unforgettable.

Budget friendly catering with professionalism and good food!
We hired Marina's as they were one of the few catering companies we could find that we were 1000% confident would be able to accommodate the brides gluten allergy. On top of their accreditation which helped us be extremely confident in allergy needs being met, Marina's was very affordable which worked great for our limited budget. While you shouldn't expect Michelin chef meals at this price point, we heard nothing but positive comments from our guests! We did not eat much but that was not due to food quality, it was more so neither of us having much of an appetite after such a long and exciting day. What we did eat, I was pleasantly surprised with. I would Recommend Al and his team anytime. He was regularly in contact with us and responsive to inquiries prior to the event and always friendly and professional.

Marinas Catering catered my husband’s 50th birthday celebration in May 2023. I did not have to stress over cooking or serving anyone. I was able to focus on other things. Everything was really nice. The food was delicious. My brother (a foodie) commented on the quality of the meals and desserts. Al is wonderful to work with and we were so happy with all of the food provided for the party. The process was incredibly professional from the first phone call right through to when the food was delivered. We went with the Italian menu and the Chicken Parmigiana was the hit of the night! As soon as I got in contact with all from marinas catering, everything start shaping up for the party of my daughter all the details were addressed properly. From the beginning, my venue asked Irene is Catering to go do an inspection and send all their formal paperwork. They were all up-to-date. The day of the party team showed up on time and set up was nice and smooth. Very cautious very educated and professional will be using them for a long time. Food was taken care of properly very friendly with a lot of attention to detail in the set up and serving guests my best decision hiring them. When planning our wedding, it was important that we found quality food for a reasonable price. Marinas catering prices can not be beaten and Al was responsive to text messages if we had any questions during the process. We really enjoyed our food tasting and appreciated that each guest receives a plate FULL of food, with the opportunity for seconds. We were able to leave our wedding with extra food that we could enjoy the following days. We had the Italian package and we decided to change a few items following our tasting (without trying them), but we were still pleased! We will definitely recommend to others in the future and hope to maybe try some of their other packages one day.

I cannot express in words how incredibly fantastic this vendor is! Value, flavor, professionalism, flexibility/partnership, genuine care for you guests - 15 out of 10!!!
I coordinated with Al through this app in the months letting up to our event and they were online and super responsive all during that time.
They're pricing for what they offered was UNMATCHED in value. Most caterers I spoke to would only give us two meal choices for almost twice the price, where Marianas offered THREE choices - beef, chicken, AND a vegetarian pasta option all for way less per plate than all of their competition. In fact, they even gave us a choice between the different pasta options or a meatless teriyaki meatball option!
We had one guest almost not attend due to a severe gluten sensitivity, but Marianas made it possible for them to come out and enjoy worry free! They kept an eye out for that guest in the line and made CERTAIN she was taken care of.
Everyone of our 160 guests thoroughly enjoyed their flavorful meal and went back for seconds! When dinner was done, Steve and his crew even bussed the tables! Also, they served buffet their meal on these high quality plastic plates and flatware that look EXACTLY like China and silver which I thought was a very special touch! Anyone taking pictures at the event would not ever know they used PLASTIC!
Everything this vendor did from planning to packing up let me know that they were true experts that KNOW their trade, and my guests made CERTAIN to let me know that throughout the night!
Bottom line, BOOK THIS VENDOR, you will be SO GLAD you did!

The Italian rum cake and Jack Daniel’s cake were my favorite. The strawberry cheesecake was awesome too! We chose the Latin style dinner option and everyone loved it!

Amazing Food
We had are wedding food catered from Marina’s and the food was amazing. Most of all the service and professionalism from the staff. The guest were very happy with the food.

Marinas catering not only has awesome food, which truly was delicious, but incredible service as well. They were very good with communicating, responsiveness and in general just helpful. They answered all my questions (patience was appreciated because I think I repeated a few haha) and were just easy and delightful to work with for the wedding. The food.... man it was good. We're vegan so the fact they had anything at all besides broccoli was pretty cool. Everyone raved about the pork! I loved the rice and beans. For what you get food, service, professionalism and quality wise you can't beat it. Hire them if you want a dress free catering experience. We are 100% satisfied with our choice! Also, the wonderful young man who served us was so polite and attentive. Truly appreciated!

Great service and food!
I am so happy we went with Marinas catering for our wedding. Since the start of our wedding planning journey, Al has been great to work with. He is very responsive, caters to your needs, and worked with my budget. The service staff during the wedding was wonderful and accommodating as well. I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for my wedding!

Phenomenal!
Absolutely impressed and so grateful! We had our wedding last night 11/07/21 and it was spectacular. We had a private table set up away from the reception under the stars with a fire. We had a taco bar for the guests. The staff made our special plates and brought them to our table along with my vegan sour cream and vegan cheese. They made sure to pay attention to detail. Thank you all!! 😊

Great experience
We hired Marinas catering due to the affordable prices. When I first contacted Al, he set up a call to go over everything. We decided then and there to hire them. They have been responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We loved how easy it was to change our selections and only a month before the wedding. On the day of, they were professional and I only heard good things about them from the other vendors working. The food was delicious, we especially liked the flank steak and the mashed potatoes were incredible. (We received raving reviews of the potatoes from literally everyone). Overall, we would hire them again if we needed too and I’m glad we found Marinas catering.

Celebration of Life
At a very stressful time in my life Al Marina was so very helpful in guiding me through his menu and suggesting options for the event. It was an excellent experience. Al was responsive to any needs I had, the food was delivered exactly on time and so delicious! I could see that my guests we very happy and many cane back ti the buffet for seconds! Thank you so much Al for making it so easy!

Amazing food made by great people
The best food ! I had little leftovers and everyone stuffed themselves. I even had some guests call to come over my house for some more ! The cheesecake was delicious and such a good choice. My husband and I joked “if we could marry the cake we would” thank you for being the best part of the wedding
