    Shanel and Aaron of Marie Edward were absolutely incredible. I hired them along with a drummer and bassist to perform during the reception for my wedding on May 28, 2017. The entire process from the first phone call with Shanel until the end of the reception was completely seamless. Whenever I needed to reach out to Shanel about any questions or concerns, she was available and very responsive (especially when the wedding day became close). Although I selected this vendor on the strength of reviews only, I never regretted my decision or worried because Shanel worked with utter professionalism. However, if you need more comfort and reassurance, Shanel and Aaron have some videos on YouTube that only confirm their talent. So do check them out!

    Her beautiful voice really added a special element to the reception, and I'm very happy with my decision to go with Marie Edward for the music. If you decide to work this vendor, I'm confident that you won't be disappointed.

    P.S. Shanel and Aaron learned "Hava Nagila" for our reception and really got the energy up for our guests. They made our wedding very memorable!

    Shanel and Aaron were awesome!! I couldn't have asked for better musicians to play at our wedding! They even learned a new song just for our ceremony! And our guests couldn't stop talking about them!! Three months later and people are still asking about them! <3

    Such an amazing, talented duo! They totally made our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone raved about them! They are professional and very flexible. They have a huge book of song suggestions but also will learn new songs if you have something special in mind.

    It was great! The guests were unaware that I hired Shanel and Aaron to perfom at the ceremony. They were all expecting the usual church band. They were astonished when they heard Shanel's voice. Dozens of people asked "who was that performing in church?"... One of the many highlights of the day.

    When we first started planning our wedding, my fiancé really wanted live music for our ceremony. I wasn't sold on the idea thinking it would be too expensive, but I agreed to look into it. And I am so happy we did! We wanted Disney music played almost exclusively for our ceremony, with some pretty specific requests. Many musicians were only willing to learn one new song (or a max of 3, with a charge for each song), and we had a lot we really wanted. Marie Edwards had no issues learning all the songs for us, and even helped us fill in the prelude with her already known repertoire of Disney songs. Day of the wedding, walking out to get ready to walk down the aisle I heard her singing "you are the music in me" and I just broke down crying. Her voice is gorgeous, and conveys so much emotion. During our hand fasting ceremony, we had them play "can you feel the love tonight", and without practice or prior talking about (error on our part), they ended perfectly with the end of the ceremony. They are so professional and amazing at what they do! After our wedding, we are still getting compliments on what a great touch having them was and what a beautiful addition to our ceremony it was. Would hire them again if I ever needed live musicians! Thank you Marie Edwards for being such a special part of our day!

    Great Music, Amazing Duo, Memorable Experience

    We were looking for a live music choice for our ceremony and cocktail hour and a friend recommended Marie Edward. They were amazing! Though they're in SoCal, they didn't mind traveling up to the Bay Area. They elevated our ceremony and cocktail hour ambiance and our guests loved them. They are also very personable and a pleasure to be around during the day of.

    Only constructive feedback is on responsiveness. Could have been just a tad bit more during the months leading up to the wedding - but we realize they were probably extremely busy with other gigs (/life in general!)

    Regardless - highly recommended, you won't be disappointed!
