  Phenomenal Experience!!!

  I am so so so glad that I found Rita! She and her team were an absolute dream to work with!! Rita hemmed my dress, added the bustle, attached my removable shoulder strap pieces, and even added a hidden elastic piece in the middle that would help keep my strapless dress up all night long! Everything was so beyond perfect and I couldn't be more grateful! She even pressed my veil for me free of charge. If you're in the area and looking for a seamstress look no further because you've found your lady :)

  Recommend Maridadi Couture for your wedding dress alterations

  I am very happy that I went with Maridadi Couture to alter my wedding dress. They listened to the changes I needed with my dress and were thoughtful with their solutions. They provided excellent service at each appointment did a wonderful job on my dress. It fit me like a glove and was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I would highly recommend!

  AMAZING! Beyond happy!

  From the minute I spoke to Rita on the phone, she was warm and inviting. I got my dress from Sabrina Ann’s in Ardmore and they HIGHLY recommended Rita. It was not around the corner from me but they said she’s the best of the best. Holy cow, I SO glad I took their advice and made the drive! Rita was AMAZING!! She made all my wishes and dreams come true. I needed 4 different alterations, shortening, adding material on a layer, sleeves made and a bustle added. Every single alteration turned out better than I had imagined. I had 4 appointments, not including the week of the wedding final pick up and every time I came in she blew me away with the alterations she completed. My dress fit like a glove at the end and I couldn’t have been happier. If you are able, get your dress alterations from Rita. She knows what she’s doing!!! Would choose Rita ten times over if I need to!

  Trust rita with your alternations

  I was in love with my wedding dress from the moment I tried it on BUT Rita comletely transformed the dress in way that made it feel like MINE through and through! Having my dress tailored was one of the BEST investments! Rita is a master of her craft and you can rest assured knowing your dress is in good hands!!

  Wonderful, skilled seamstress

  I am so grateful for Maridadi!!! I really loved the dress that I found - it was simple and exactly what I wanted but it was a one of a kind and only came in a size 14...I am a size 4. Rita literally took the entire wedding dress apart and re-stitched the entire thing with a custom fit to my body. I honestly didn't even appreciate the complexity of my ask when I first brought the dress in but Rita did not hesitate. I cannot recommend Maridadi enough.

  Unparallelled!

  Having Rita alter my wedding dress was a no brainer – she’s been doing my clothing for years and there is no one as good as she is.
  I decided I wanted to ride my horse Sidesaddle into my ceremony which required some creativity in bustling. Rita let me bring my horse to the shop and we fit the dress while I was sitting on him to ensure for the best pictures! I was so grateful for her willingness to work with me to make my dream come true.
  She truly cares about every dress she works on and it’s obvious when dealing with her.

  Awesome work!

  They did an amazing job on my wedding dress! I bought a dress with big lace sleeves that i wanted to get removed to make my dress strapless, so it was a total transformation of the old dress. She matched my exact vision and did such a great job making it look as if my dress were designed that way!

  I contacted A LOT of seamstresses in hopes of not breaking the bank on my wedding dress alterations. I decided to go with Maridadi Couture because I read such great reviews and the reasonable price. Rita was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had my 3 fittings all together (the initial, one two weeks before, and the final at pick up). The dress fit me like a glove and I owe it all to Rita! I highly recommend her quality work!

  Rita did a fantastic job on my wedding gown! She took my gown from a size 10 and fit it to my body perfectly! I typically wear a size 4. She knew with the first alteration that I wasn’t happy with the way it was lying and redid the whole thing for the next appointment without me asking! She was very accommodating, even with last minute alterations when I added an illusion neckline! Absolutely fantastic!

  Can I give Rita 10 out of 5 stars? Because she went above and beyond in everything she did. I had a HORRIBLE experience with another seamstress (when someone tells you a bride needs to lose weight, you know it's not going to be a good appointment), and Rita was everything I dreamed of. She worked wonders on my already gorgeous dress, really listening to what I wanted, but also giving me her honest opinion. Every attention to detail was made. She was also incredibly flexible. I unfortunately was in the hospital unexpectedly six weeks before my wedding, and she rescheduled my appointments, stayed extremely late one night to fit me in, and made sure I didn't worry at all. I had so many compliments on my dress, and I know that's because of her careful work. She truly cares about all of her brides. I will go to her for any alterations I have.

  I chose Maridadi Couture to alter my wedding gown and they did a marvelous job! I bought my dress online and honestly, I didn't love it when I received it. Luckily, after taking it to Maridadi it turned out to be the perfect dress!

  Don’t look anywhere else! Just trust Rita!

  Rita is a magician! She tailored my wedding dress for two different occassions (bridal portraits in March and again for my wedding in August after I had lost additional weight) and it was stunning! I now recommend her to all of my friends and clients. My appointments were always speedy and she was very thorough and caring.

Rita was extremely patient with me and she listened to every little detail I had about altering my dress. I went about four times to see the changes that were being made and every time I went I loved my dress more and more. Finally, at my last dress fitting I was amazed with how beautiful and perfect my dress came out! Rita went above and beyond all of my expectations. My wedding dress was perfect and I couldn't be any happier with my experience at Maridadi Courture! Rita is extremely professional, talented and loves what she does! Her love for her profession shows everyday through her dedication and hard work! My mom, sister and flower girls got their alterations done as well and they turned out beautiful as well.   I wish I was able to share pictures on this review because Rita did an AMAZING job on my dress! It came out so beautifully and I have her to thank for it. I purchased the Theia Grace gown and Rita was able to make it fit my like a glove. She was able to attach a lovely belt I bought on Etsy too. She and everyone at Maridadi are very professional and friendly. I can't recommend her enough!

  Rita is a miracle worker. I had an extremely intricate two piece dress. The bottom was the layered/tiered type skirts and the top was a corset back, but with a zipper. I got a quote from the boutique that I bought my dress from which made my mouth drop. The alterations were quoted at almost half the price of the dress. They said we'll hem the skirt, take in the top and take in the waist. And I asked about taking out a layer because it was too large and they said sure no problem. When I went to Rita for a quote, she was almost half the price as the boutique. That alone would have made me choose her. Once we started looking at the dress - she suggested not taking out a layer and said it would lose it's shape. she told me she'd press it a different way to make it lay more flat. She also didn't want to hem it because she wanted the look of the bottom to stay identical. Instead she picked it up throughout the dress. She was so thoughtful in her suggestions and they all made perfect sense. Totally different service than the boutique. Over the course of my fittings, she decided to add a ribbon to the waist band and sewed that on. The top was also too tight, so she got creative and instead of the back being straight across, she turned it into a "V" shape. She also sewed ribbon inside of the top so it wouldn't scratch me. We added one more fitting, so I had four instead of the standard three. With all of these extras, she STILL stuck to her quoted price. Rita was truly amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone. If you're considering having it done at the bridal boutique because it seems "easier", I would absolutely rethink that. At least stop in and get a quote and meet her. Rita exceeded my highest hopes and was able to repair the dress and make the alterations I needed, and nobody could tell it had been repaired or altered.

I should also note that the alterations Rita did were quite extensive - I basically brought her a dress that had many elements I loved and she changed everything so it was perfect! It was not a simple project but she mastered it!

  Rita was absolutely amazing from the moment that I met her! My dress was not fitting like I wanted to at all and after all of my fittings, it was perfect! I didn't like the dress when I picked it up from the bridal shop because of how it fit(which broke my heart), but after Rita fixed it, I loved it! High recommend her!!

  I bought a sample dress from Elizabeth John's that was about a size too big. Rita went above and beyond to fit the dress to my body and listened to my every request. Her expertise and attention to detail is out of this world. So happy I found her as I wouldn't have been able to be so relaxed throughout the whole process without trusting the person doing the alterations.

  Rita did the alterations for my wedding dress and I could not have been happier! My dress was Cybele lace with beading throughout, making the alterations a delicate process. She performed all the alterations with confidence and was extremely thorough. I went back for fittings 3 times, and each time she nipped and tucked to make sure my dress fit perfectly for my wedding day (and I didn't make things easy on her since I kept losing weight from the stress!) I will recommend Maridadi Couture to all of my friends and family! Thank you so much!!

She was even extremely helpful with my undergarments and was going to alter those for me if I couldn't find something that fit just right! Her pricing is very fair and she does an amazing job. They always greet you with a smile and you feel like the only bride in the world when you are there. I will recommend them to anyone looking for alterations.
