Phenomenal!!

Marylou was honestly amazing! The entire experience was a dream! She worked around my group’s particular needs and difficult schedule to find an appointment and kept in contact with me trying to get us in sooner when an opening became available.
I had a clear idea of what I was looking for in a wedding gown and she truly listened, only showing me dresses with the elements I was looking for. She nailed it, found the PERFECT dress on the first try...at the end of it all, I literally bought the first dress I tried on. When my measurements were between sizes, she made extra efforts to make sure I ordered the right size to minimize costly alterations. And she even accommodated my group when it transitioned to impromptu bridesmaid shopping, never hurrying us when we ran over our scheduled time.
The prices are great and I didn’t feel pressured to purchase accessories I didn’t want. The shop itself is adorable and was comfortable for my group. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will 100% be back for the rest of the bridal party, mother of the bride, and any other formal ware I ever I need. Thank you Marylou for a fabulous experience!

I had found this wonderful bridal shop after searching all over Charlotte, NC and Raleigh-Durham, NC (where I live). I came to New Port Richey to help my cousin move in and happened in Maria's and I'm so glad I did!!!! I told MaryLou exactly what I wanted and she found it! I thought I could find the dress in my area, so I thanked them and went back to NC. After realizing my dress was only at Maria's, I worked with the bridal shop to order the dress and fly back to New Port Richey to try on the dress. It was everything I wanted! MaryLou and her staff worked amazingly to accessorize the gown, and I bought everything they added - the veil, necklace, earrings, bracelet, etc! I was quite a sight carrying my large bridal bag through the airport, but it was all worth it! Our wedding day was amazing and we were chosen to be on the cover of a bridal magazine and highlighted as the cover story. The dress really made me feel like a princess and it was all due to the excellent work of Maria's Bridal Connection! I can not recommend this bridal store enough. Thank you ladies!

After being treated very rude by another bridal shop I had an appointment with, me and my 8 guests came to Maria's with no appointment. One of my bridesmaids recommended Maria's and I'm so glad she did! I called first and told them what happened with the other place and that there were 9 of us and I was really hoping to be able to go dress shopping because I had bridesmaids here from out of town this weekend. They told me to head over and they would help us out. When we got there, I knew they had another appointment so I wasn't expecting one on one care. But they got right on it. They accommodated all my guests, helped me pick out my dresses to try on, listened to what I wanted, and made all of our experiences awesome! I did say yes to a beautiful dress here yesterday! And I have to say, my crowd was a bit overwhelming and Victoria (my consultant) was very sweet and accommodating to all of us. I really appreciated all her help and all the staff was very nice. To be a walk in, with 9 people, and to be treated so well really says a lot. Also, they have a big variety of dresses to choose from. My bridesmaids even got to try on some dresses that they liked (I'm letting them pick their own). Just over all, a great experience. Thank you guys!

I got married in April 2017 and my mom, and all the men got there attire from Maria's Bridal. I love them! Chloe is so sweet and always ready to help. She put my mind at ease every time I went in or called to ask questions. The guys looked amazing and MaryLou helped me visualize what the outcome would be. Every consulate made me feel welcome and listened to what I was saying. They have so many different styles and dresses I am sure anyone would be able to find what works for them.

Everyone at Maria's is wonderful but Chloe is absolutely AMAZING! I am super self conscious and she took her time with me to make me feel comfortable, not to mention she knows her stuff!

I recommend Maria's (and Chloe!) to anyone who wants a special & meaningful bridal appointment!! You won't find a better crew or selection of dresses anywhere else!

Chloe listened to what I wanted as mother of the groom and then brought dresses out that were perfect. I ended up buying two dresses. The alterations were so masterfully completed. And I am having a chiffon wrap made to match each dress. I wish I needed more dresses.

Maria's Bridal Connection is the prefect place to find a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. The staff has great taste and recommendations. Also, the alterations came out perfect! I was extremely happy with my dress and the bridesmaids dresses. I highly recommend Maria's!

I purchased a gown for my daughters wedding from Marie's. They are professional and very nice to work with. I looked all over for a mother of the bride dress and could not find one that was youthful. I walked into Marie's and I instantly knew I would like something there. The dress was perfect and I was complemented on it by almost everyone attending the wedding.

We stayed past our appointment time, but no one complained when we walked away with a stunning dress from Maria's Bridal Connection! The service was amazing...we never felt rushed or pressured, but I honestly couldn't imagine leaving to find a dress somewhere else when I knew that Maria's would take care of us. The selection was amazing with so many pretty gowns to choose from. Also, they register your school name and your name so no one attending your event will be sold the same dress. An overall wonderful experience!

The most wonderful, caring and warm bridal shop, who will do their utmost best at making sure you receive exactly what you are looking far. I ordered my wedding dress from them and they were absolutely professional and reassuring that my dress would arrive and look stunning on me. They couldn't be more right. Ms. Maria and Ms. Marylou were so sweet and loving. I had to go a couple of time by myself to try on the dress and have it altered and they made me feel as though my own mother was there with me. Just real, loving people!! I would definitely go back there if I needed another dress!! Thank you so much for all you did for me!!

from the moment i walked into the shop it was a great experience. everyone there was excited for me and wanted to help me find that perfect dress. the price was not bad either. every time i came in for a fitting they remembered who i was which made feel really good. and if i did not have a fitting i just wanted to come in and try on the dress again (which i did once) they did not have a problem with that. every girl needs to be made special for her special day and Maria's Bridal Connection more then did that. i am glad i found them and was so happy with the whole experience. with what i spent i got my dress, petticoat, vial, and flower head piece.

Marias bridal was very flexible and willing to work with my large bridal party and I. The place we originally were renting suits from bailed out on us and Marias stepped up and made sure our eleven groomsmen (most of them out of state) were dressed and felt comfortable. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of purchasing my wedding dress at Maria's Bridal Connection. My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses at Maria's. I really can't say enough good things about this place. I had gone to other bridal salons and felt very defeated and confused. My indecision was definitely getting the best of me. Mary Lou was the one who helped me during my initial visit and she showed me many, many different dresses. She listened to what I did and didn't like and helped me say "yes!" to the dress. She stayed past their closing time in order to help me. A couple months later I had second thoughts about my dress, I went back and she had me try the dress on again, as well as other dresses that I wanted so I could be sure. She was so kind and told me that I could switch to another dress if I wanted to and return the other even though I had already paid in full. I ended up realizing my original dress was perfect, but this really shows the warmth and professionalism that can be found at Maria's. My girls also received great services when they purchased their dresses, and the price was much lower than the same dresses in the Tampa bay area. I highly recommend Maria's bridal. Thanks for everything, ladies!

Maria's was such a great experience! They were so personable and easy to work with. They have a wide variety of dresses to choose from as well as mother of the bride dresses and bridesmaid dresses. My mom also found her dress at Maria's, and it was beautiful! I absolutely loved my dress and it fit perfectly!

If I had to go through the whole process again I would 100% go back to Maria's for my dress! They were wonderful with everything from the moment I walked in for my first appointment. I also purchased bridesmaid dresses from here and they came perfectly with no problems.

My daughter's wedding gown, the bridesmaid's dresses and my Mother of the Bride dress were all purchased at Maria's. We could not be any happier with the services received at Maria's. The entire staff was such a pleasure to work with. As soon as we entered the store we had a great feeling and knew we wanted to buy her wedding gown there...and we did...that first day. They have a great selection and are very helpful. The alterations needed were done beautifully and made every gown fit like a glove.

These ladies are amazing! They made me so comfortable and were great to work with. They spent so much time going through the dresses at the boutique with me. Since they didn't have the EXACT dress I wanted, they worked with me to piece together how the dress would look using other dresses from the designer and explaining how that dress would be different and/or similar to the dress I had on. They made me fall in love with the dress BEFORE LAYING EYES ON IT! They worked wonders and the dress was exactly what they had pieced together for me in my mind and everything I wanted. My mom even loved them and she bought her dress for the wedding and had the alterations done there as well. The alteration process was so easy and painless. Maria works wonders with the dresses and is so knowledgeable and knows what will work and look good and what won't. She was willing to work with me and make as many changes as possible to make the bustle the way I needed and imagined, even if that meant 3 different bustles. And they didn't nickel and dime me for every single alteration, it was a charge as needed which made me comfortable that I was not overspending nor going out of my budget. They are wonderful people and really care about their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a formal dress and would also recommend going during the week if at all possible so you can have their full attention and be treated like a princess since they get VERY busy on Saturdays and do their very best to give you as much attention as possible.

They were the only bridal store from here to Georgia that would let order my dress unseen and then if I didn't love it I could pick any other dress the store could get me. Of course I loved my dress! I bought my wedding dress from Maria's back in Thanksgiving 2012. I'm from NPR but lived in Boston and I came in with my Mom and Aunt. The dress we bought was the second one I tried on at the shop although I tried on many more that day. I had only been engaged a few days before coming to Florida to visit my family for Thanksgiving and was convinced to just go to "one store - to see what you like." I was adamant that I would NEVER find the wedding dress of my dreams in NPR when I lived in Boston with fancy boutiques etc. Was I wrong. The amount of compliments I got on my wedding day was unreal. Of course, I was the bride, but in the setting of where the reception took place and my dress, along with the decor and handmade elements we did for the wedding, my dress was like a centerpiece to the night. EVERYONE said they had never seen a dress like mine and how it looked as if it was made for my body. I felt absolutely stunning that day - in large part to that dress. So thank you so much for squeezing us in that day in your shop. Also side note - I called around in Boston to see how much my dress would be there and it was marked up $2k more than what I paid at Maria's.

Marias Bridal was truly a great experience from start to finish! Roseann helped me the entire way on my bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen tuxedos. They were perfect & stylish. Super clean, friendly, no pressure atmosphere and a lot of fun to work with a vendor who really knows what they are doing.

My wedding was 2-16-13. I stared shopping for my dress 12-23-12. When I walked into their shop with this information the look on their faces was pretty funny! They seemed to be scared for me and were like 'you will most likely have to buy something off the rack'. I found this all humorous as I was not worried.

I worked mostly with Laura, she was very helpful. I even hired her to me my 'Lady in Waiting' on my wedding day. She even painted mine & my daughters nails as we were running late that morning so we didn't make it to get our manicures.

I came in without an appointment & we started pulling dresses. I had two favorites, one Laura picked & the other I picked. I came back in to try them on on 2 others days before deciding. I ended up picking the dress Laura had pulled for me. Funny thing was I remember when she first pulled this one & saying to herself 'this is it'. She was right!

I wanted small sleeves on the dress & the owner Maria did an absolutely wonderful job adding them to the dress. You could not even tell that they were not originally there.

Thank you ALL so much for all the last minute assistance for this last minute bride!

Out of all my vendors while planning my wedding, this family owned business proved to be the best! The ladies in the shop are amazing. They are attentive and they go above and beyond to ensure you get exactly what you want for your special day. I ordered my dress through the company and received it well in advance before the wedding. I also ordered my junior girls dresses through the company and although we were having issues with the designer the ladies found a way to help me get the designer I wanted and in dresses that completely flattered my junior bridesmaids. I wish I could give them a 10/5 I loved them that much! I live in the Bahamas and although getting to Port Richey was a bit out of my way, it was completely worth it!

Maria's Bridal Connection was the first bridal boutique I set foot in. I knew right away it was not necessary for me to go anywhere else. Maria and staff executes the best customer service!!! Being my first experience I wasn't sure what to look for. She showed us several wedding gowns (she has a wonderful selection, by the way.) Everyone there was very helpful, sweet, and patient with my indecision (I was in love with 3 dresses.) No one was pushy at all and I felt very comfortable in the store. Oh yeah and I loved my dress! They were so amazing that we got dresses for my grandma and mom while we were there too. They also helped me find beautiful jewelry, shoes, and an veil that really accented my gown. Thanks to them, we all looking gorgeous on my special day. Thank you for everything and I would recommend every bride to Maria's Bridal Connection!!!

I tried on over 200 dresses from Tampa to Orlando and in between. When I first arrived at Maria’s I not only found great quality dresses but great customer service. Everyone that works at Maria’s Bridal is so wonderful. Each person went above and beyond with my wedding attire. I was nervous because the tux’s that were rented did not fit any of the groomsman and fathers 2 days before the wedding. But they made sure everything was in on time on the wedding day.

Maria's Bridal Connection was great and very patient with us. I must admit, my husband and I weren't the easiest customers to deal with. But Laura and Victoria were very good to us and the dress was from the designer Maggie Sottero, it was absolutely beautiful. They didn't have the dress there to try on and I was very skeptical about just ordering from the catalog. They were very reassuring. And they were right, words can't explain how I felt about the dress. Thank you so much for being there for us. They also supplied us with the tuxes for the bridal party, again very patient. God bless them, they seem to be like a second family to us now. If we are ever in need for formal wear, we will go to Mari's bridal Connection. Thank you again, we love you all, Dawn and David Harris

Maria, Shelia & Mary Lou, were absolutely wonderful to me. I fell in love with a dress from Maggie Sottero's Spring 09 catalog. I was so nervous about ordering it without ever seeing it in person or trying it on. Sheila assured me that "Shirley" was stunning and would look amazing on me. I took the plunge, placed the order and I am so glad that I did!! I could not have dreamed of a more perfect dress!! I received so many compliments on my wedding day... now I just have to figure out how I can wear her again :)

Loved the women here at this shop. They are so sweet and helpful. I encountered a couple crises' and they were very willing to work with me and help. I was an ongoing customer here for almost 2 years. The only reason they did not get a 5/5 was because alteration were a little pricey. I assumed they would be free because they are at a lot of other bridal shops that I had called. I only had a $600 dress and paid $200 for the alterations. But it was really good work. Maria the owner is a seamstress and she is very good and professional.

Very flexible. Once I found my dress, they worked with me and my schedule because I was an out of town bride. They even did two fittings/alterations the week of my wedding (since that was I only able to get my second fitting that week). They ensured I didn't leave until I felt comfortable.

When I walked into Maria's bridal connection the first time, I found my dress within the first 3 dresses I tried on! She had the tag at $3,500 which was a little out of my budget. I started researching this dress a little more and found that the same exact dress was being sold at other stores for $899. That is a huge difference! So I did not go back at first, when I could have paid a fraction of the price at other stores. One of the sales women called me about a week after I went there, and she mentioned how they will price match. Once I told her the price I found it and where, she agreed to match the price. The dress I had tried on first fit perfectly, and the woman wanted to sell me that exact one that was hanging on display. I'm not sure if that is normally what happens but I felt more comfortable with her ordering a new one from the designer which she did not seem to have a problem doing for me. I gained a few pounds over the months and when my dress finally came in, they had to let it out a bit, which Maria did with no problem. All in all is was a pretty good experience. Make sure you educate yourself before you buy the gown of your dreams, you never know how much it really costs! Hope this review helps future brides

Loved working with Roseanne here! She really makes you feel comfortable and non pressured! Loved the bridesmaid dresses we got, and boys tuxes' were nice too! Pretty decent selection, lots of designers available. Uncomfortable at times the way owner speaks to you, but I have to give it to her that she's amazing at alterations and her craftsmanship is superb!

I loved using Maria's Bridal. They definitely stepped up with my bridesmaids or groomsman needed to get their wedding attire set up. It was nice to have that taken care of. However, I was upset towards the end when it was a week before my wedding and they never called to get my final alterations. I had to call in myself because I was worried since they usually call me, but they ended up misplacing my dress in the wrong rack and in doing so they thought that I already had my final alterations done. This was stressful since they had to rush to do my final alterations about 5 days before my wedding, but they did get it done. I was very happy with the awesome staff and they always made me feel welcome. Would definitely recommend using them to a friend.

Overall we had an okay experience. We had a huge ordeal with the Tuxs and the Tux company they deal with. I feel the girls (employees) were nice and respectful but I feel Maria didn't listen to you and didn't care when you tried to tell her something that you needed fixed or changed. We bought bridesmaids dress and Tuxs with them.

Mary Lou was very helpful during our consultation. My mother-in-law tried on dresses and I tried on bridal dresses. I had a Roz La Kelin sample sent here specifically because there are only a couple vendors in the state and this was the closest even though it was 3 hours away. It was worth the trip because Mary Lou took her time with me and my mother in law. We were there for over 2 hours. I also had my maid of honor with me, this was the first time she had been able to come to an appointment. She was very impressed with the service we received. As a plus size bride I have not been able to go to many places that actually carried dresses in a size I could try on. While the sample Roz La Kelin that was sent was a bit small Mary Lou offered to order it in my size and if I didn't love it I could get my money back. I have been told no to this at other shops. This is a $2,000 dress so hearing this was great news as I really wanted to try it on in my size and was disappointed that Roz La Kelin was unable to send any other sample size. Mary Lou had a few other dresses that I was able to try on. I had very specific requirements, I have tried on a dozen or more dresses at 7 different locations with some being chains such as David's Bridal in different cities with each experience being awful. My advice is to stay away from the chains. Even with an appointment it is chaotic and they are just trying to make a sale. They do not listen to what you want and basically just pull whatever they have in stock off the shelf even if its not in a size you could try on. This is not the experience a bride dreams of. I recommend the Roz La Kelin line that Mary Lou carries for any bride, especially for a plus size bride as the Glamour Plus line can be ordered all the way to a size 44 with no extra charge for size. So far I have not purchased a dress and am giving myself till December to make a final decision. But have it narrowed down to 2, 1 being the Roz La Kelin I want to try on in my size

Dress was not ready for the final appointment and had not been touched for alterations. The original reason for why it wasn't ready was because they had put it on the wrong rack, but then later said that it was because we came in before the date and had the hem tested with different shoes. They did not call and let me know it wasn't ready, so we drove over an hour and waited half an hour before they told us that it was not ready. Came back the following week and the straps were wrong, so we needed to come back a few hours later before it was complete. Although they waived the alteration fees, I do not recommend going there because of their lack of communication, organization and courtesy.

The begining of this relationship was excellent, I found my perfect dress but trying on samples is difficult because the dresses don't fit right. But I was assured I would have adequate alterations so the dress would fit properly. When I went for my first fitting I realized there was a high degree of staff turn over and despite the fact that I had seven different undergarments that I brought, the dress would not fit properly and the undergarments were showing. Again I was assured they would make it right. The alterations were not completed in a timely fashion and of course I had prepaid the very expesive alteration fee. I did not receive my dress until two days before my wedding and the alterations of the bodice were not completed. Many of my wedding photos show my undergarments and because the straps were not adjusted properly, I wound up with bruises on both sholders for my honeymoon from the straps rubbing all day long. The owner of the shop knew how upset I was and never offered a refund of any part of the alteration fee.

When my Matron of Honor suggested we go to Maria's Bridal to look at dresses I was completely for it. Wanting to buy from a local/ independent bridal shop was a high priority.
For our first visit, I couldn't have asked for better service. The ladies were remarkable and every employee of the store made me feel as if each dress I tried on was made specifically for me. This day we decided on a dress and given that the wedding at this point was 8 months away decided to use the layaway service offered.
From my first scheduled fitting everything turned to a Bride's worst nightmare. From my dress couldn't be found, to being told my appointment needed to be cancelled because they were too busy with Prom season and on my last 2 appointments the store wasn't even open at my appointment time.
The final straw for me came when my dress was due to be picked up. I had scheduled with Maria to pick up my gown at 10am on the Friday before the wedding. Running late, I had asked my Matron of Honor to stop and pick it up. She arrived at 3pm. It took 20 minutes of searching for the saleswomen to come and ask if the dress had already been picked up. Then my Matron was informed by Maria that my dress was not ready and she would need to come back in an hour which was impossible since we were having our rehearsal and dinner at 4pm. The end result after my Matron became very upset, the Owner agreed to deliver my dress to the wedding location and the dress arrived at 7:30pm. I wish my experience had been better and would not recommend this store to future Brides, especially if your wedding falls around Prom season as that is the main priority.

She talks like she's gonna make everything so wonderful but in the end it doesn't turn out like she claims. I was suppose to have lamps & there was none. The center pieces where awful nothing like the one she showed me. The trees & stands where so cheap looking. There was suppose to be lights & snow flakes on the trees. Nothing came out like it was suppose to. It was jus terrible not what I had I envisioned at all. I will never use her again! I will not refer her! She was expensive & not worth it at all.
