We absolutely loved working with Mariana for our wedding! She was incredibly friendly and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. It felt like we had known her forever! On top of her professionalism and talent, she went above and beyond by driving me (the bride) to the venue in her own car when my transportation fell through. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day, and we hope we get to work with her again in the future. Highly recommend! -

My husband and I couldn't recommend Mariana enough. She was by far the best and most memorable vendor from our wedding day. From the very beginning, she was truly interested in us as a couple and made us feel special, comfortable, and heard. She cared about us and our vision, she was an excellent communicator, and she made our wedding day so much fun. Our guests and wedding party still talk about how much they loved her. And not to mention the photos were BEAUTIFUL! She was amazing at sending previews the day after the wedding so we could share which was so unexpected but appreciated. I can't wait to use her again in the future!! -

Mariana is by far the best photographer we could have imagined for our wedding night. She is (obviously) amazingly talented behind a camera, but she became a staple of our wedding night. She captured the best moments and the guests raved about her presence. I could not recommend a better photographer and person to capture the big day.
I was also very impressed with her communication throughout the entire process. From the planning and prep, during, and after the wedding while she edited the pictures. All around she’s the best in the business! -

Mariana, is the best! I cannot picture this day and how it turned out without her being a part of it. She is so talented, she was creative and fun with the whole process too and it all turned out so beautifully. Not only did she capture our wedding so stunningly, (the pictures speak for themselves), her personality was everything we needed and more! She made me feel so comfortable in front of a camera, she was always 2 steps ahead and she made the whole day go so seamlessly. We also used her to photograph the night before and it was a different style of photography than the wedding and we loved it! We cannot wait to use her again for next life event ;) -

Mariana was the perfect choice for our wedding and I’m so glad we had the fortune of her being our photographer!! Her packages were laid out in an easy to understand format and she went above and beyond with everything and did so with a positive, joyful disposition. Everyone loved working with her and everyone loved the end results as well! Her photographs are stunning. My mom printed out every single photo (1000+!). She also notices the children and impressively catches those fleeting adorable moments. She was very organized and was always asking us what we wanted and never told us we “should” do something a certain way. She made everything easy and not stressful at all which is exactly the kind of person you want on your wedding day! She also did bridal portraits at her home studio which was the perfect day for my hair and makeup trial. I wouldn’t change anything. The only hard thing is picking our favorite photos, but you can always just print them all like we did. 😆 -

Taking photos with Mariana was one of the highlights of our wedding. She handled everything including our first look, where the photos would be taken, the shortlist, and direction. Her black and white photos are beautiful! She worked with us on the price being that our wedding didn’t follow the traditional schedule. We continue to get compliments on our photos. We worked with Mariana for our engagement photoshoot and for our wedding day and we had fabulous experiences both times! For our engagement photoshoot, Mariana traveled to San Francisco to photograph us in our neighborhood park. We had the best time because she made us feel comfortable and natural. Her ability to capture the light, scenery, and such a special place and time for us was amazing. We then worked with her for our wedding in Santa Rosa and we are so happy with the experience and the photographs! She is kind, intentional, flexible, and her experience is evident. Our families and friends raved about how wonderful she was at our event and raved even more when they saw our photographs! We absolutely loved working with Mariana and joyfully recommend her as a photographer! -

Personable, Positive, and Talented
When we first called Mariana to see if she would be a good fit for us, we instantly knew that she'd be our photographer. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and understood our vision. She was very positive and supportive throughout our planning and coordinating with her leading up to the wedding day. It was very easy to schedule an engagement session to meet with her for the first time. We immediately felt at ease. Even though my husband and I aren't used to taking pictures, Mariana knew exactly how to make us feel comfortable and helped bring some fun to the shoot so that the pictures were natural, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! On our wedding day, Mariana came to the house where the bridal party was getting ready and as soon as I saw her I got emotional because I knew that she was going to take care of everything and be such a positive and energetic presence throughout the day. She brought such comfort and relief to a stressful wedding planning process. Her encouraging messages leading up to the big day and the morning of meant so much to us. Mariana did a great job of helping us with the timings of the day to make sure that we weren't cramming too much at once and helped give us some reminders of when to do things at certain times. Just hours after our wedding, Mariana posted some sneak peak pictures on Instagram which were fun to share to those that weren't able to attend. The wedding photo gallery was spectacular. They were grouped according to the time of the day (getting ready, ceremony, reception, etc.) and she did such a great job of capturing natural candids and had a good mix of black/white and color photos. We loved Mariana so much that we were already recommending her to our newly engaged friends who attended the wedding and, after talking with her at the reception, they booked her for their wedding in January 2023. We would love the opportunity to work with Mariana again in the future and will continue to recommend her to others in need of a photographer. -

Mariana is the absolute BEST!
We worked with Mariana for our engagement session and wedding day, and I cannot emphasize enough how much my husband and I love working with her. We originally had our wedding planned in 2020, then 2021, and we finally had our wedding in 2022. Throughout those crazy times and rescheduling process, Mariana has been so understanding and the best at communicating with us. Even though we only communicated via call, text, or email, we already felt like she cares about us because she's very responsive and supportive throughout the process. Fast forward to our engagement session at Bodega Bay, it was the first time we worked with her in person. The weather at that day was so unforgivingly cold, windy, and foggy but Mariana with her positive, supportive, and encouraging attitude was able to made the session so fun and memorable for us. Throughout the session, Mariana was always so attentive. She made sure that we both feel comfortable and to let her know if we want to take a moment to warm up. After the session, my husband and I agreed that we cannot wait to have her on our wedding day. During the wedding, our family and friends also mentioned that they really loved the working with Mariana and her team. The feedback that we got is that she was able to make the atmosphere so creative and fun, which really help us, the not so photogenic people, feel so comfortable and great in those photo sessions. She is willing to go above and beyond to get those creative shots and angle to make sure that she got the best out of every moment. A month later, we got our gallery and they are AMAZING (yes - the one from the foggy engagement session day turned out so great too!) If you are looking for a photographer that is professional (responsive and has a quick turnaround time), radiates great positive energy (understanding, fun, caring) and can capture those important moment in the most timeless and beautiful way, Mariana is the way to go! -

Mariana photographed our July 30th wedding in Sonoma, CA. The wedding was about 200 people and in three locations (getting ready, church and reception venue). Mariana did an amazing job helping us figure out the timeline and logistics leading up to the wedding day. On the day of the wedding she was amazing! She had the best energy and even my family and wedding party told me how much they loved her and her second shooter. We just received our pictures back and they are beautiful! Mariana did a great job at capturing all the moments big and small. I love the mix of posed and candid shots. It was so fun getting to relive the day and I am so thankful I have these photos to look back on forever. If you are looking for a talented photographer that will make you feel comfortable and stress free on your wedding day pick Mariana! -

Amazing photographer
Having Mariana as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! My husband and I were planning our wedding from overseas, we went through the portfolios of many photographers on social media and recommendations from our wedding planner but we landed on Mariana’s profile as we were instantly drawn by her artistry! Even through our first video call, we instantly clicked with Mariana because she had such an approachable and warm personality!
Mariana was incredibly professional from the moment we had her onboard. As we already completed a set of engagement photos before we engaged Mariana, she was very flexible to modify her package to suit our needs. We were extremely impressed with her preparation work in advance of our final meeting before the wedding, she gave us very good suggestions on how to improve the timeline and had already done her research on our getting ready locations and venue to discuss her vision of what the shots could look like. It really made us feel like we were in good hands!
Early on during our engagement shoot overseas, my husband and I had already realized we were not the most natural/ relaxed couple in front of the camera. However, the mixture of energy and professionalism Mariana brought on our wedding day made us so relaxed and the photos she produced were a testament to that! The photo collection she produced had all that we had discussed from capturing the details to the special sunset photos and great group shots! She really listened and our photos turned out perfectly. In fact, we felt that Mariana went over and above her services as photographer in the way she collaborated with our other vendors (she would take the initiative to reach out them to discuss details) and just being very attentive to us/ our needs the whole day. We had the most enjoyable time working with Mariana and we highly recommend her services!

When chatting with/interviewing photographers, I had an immediate bond with Mariana and was taken aback by her warmth, genuineness, and kindness. Mariana is professional, friendly, conscientious, punctual, reliable and has an amazing skillset... all qualities you'd want for your wedding photographer. I even had several guests at our wedding approach me to say how lovely our photographer is and how they were impressed by her efforts to make our 9 month old daughter smile in all of the photos.

Mariana was absolutely amazing! She’s easy to get along with, fun loving, and is very professional. We really appreciated the included engagement photo session. It was the perfect way to get comfortable behind the camera and to bond with her so she wasn’t a stranger on our wedding day. Her style is exactly what I was looking for in a wedding photographer! She would direct us but in a natural way so we weren’t stiff and overly posed. For the wedding weekend she even came to our rehearsal the night before to show us where she will be shooting photos from for the ceremony and to scope out first look locations. We received our edited photos very quickly. The worst part is that we love every single picture! I would HIGHLY recommend Mariana as a photographer! -

From day one, Mariana was super attentive, detail oriented, and willing to answer all our questions and give recommendations based on past experience. Mariana was an absolute delight to work with. We hired Mariana for our wedding that was supposed to be in June of 2020. When COVID struck, our wedding was not only cancelled, but we also lost $18,000 when our venue declared bankruptcy. She was incredibly empathetic, kind, caring, and more than willing to provide us with a refund of our deposit. Throughout the next year, we stayed in touch and she even checked in with us a few times to see how things were going and if we had found any new venues. When we reached back out after having found a new venue and a new date, we couldn’t think of anyone we wanted more to capture our special day than Mariana. She jumped at the opportunity to be our photographer for our big day.
We can’t say enough good things about Mariana and her work. She is incredibly professional but also brings a special touch to the entire experience – her passion for her work, for capturing love, and being a cheerleader for you and your partner on your big day shines through in every way. She was confident, efficient, and worked with us to get all the shots we wanted and then some. She’s a creative generous and has an uncanny way of capturing the most candid and beautiful moments of our special day. Her assistant and second photographer, Boris, was also a delight to work with as well. When we asked for her and Boris to stay an extra hour on our wedding day, they didn’t hesitate.
She delivered an incredibly gorgeous gallery of photos very promptly after the wedding. We could not be more happy to have had Mariana and Boris on as photographers on the day of our wedding. We will have the photos of that magical day forever, allowing us to travel back in time and experience the overwhelming love of that day.

The perfect fit!
When searching for vendors we were having a hard time. We wanted not only the perfect style but the perfect personality to share our special day. Mariana answered all of my questions, built the perfect package for us and genuinely became a friend. There's nothing easy about planning a wedding and definitely not during covid and fire season here in California. I knew after one phone conversation that I wanted her to be our photographer and the engagement session only solidified that I had picked the perfect person. My now husband is super impatient and the last thing he was looking forward to was photos. The day of our engagement session the smoke was horrific and the originally location ended up being closed even though it said open everywhere. We winged it and followed Mariana's lead. She lead us to an amazing spot and captured the most beautiful photos all while keeping my better half engaged in the shoot and having fun.
When it came to our wedding our venue cancelled 6 weeks prior and she gave me a ton of amazing leads on venues. The day of she showed up and instantly all of my bridesmaids were commenting.. "You're photographer is so fun", "I just love her personality", "Where did you find her". She was the perfect fit to our day and her second shooter was just as wonderful.
Mariana is all things professional. She's timely, responsive, kind but she is so much more than that. She is passionate, fun, and encouraging. I knew there would be tons of uncertainty with all the changes to our day but I knew I didn't have to worry about her and that peace of mind was priceless. -

We had the most amazing experience working with Mariana on our engagement photos. She provided a ton of support and advice on locations, outfits and other ideas for our shoot, and was incredibly timely and responsive to emails. But most important, she made us feel so comfortable on the day of our shoot. It was freezing cold and windy on the day of our shoot at Lands End, but Mariana helped us work with the elements, kept my jacket available between shots, and kept our spirits up. And the photos turned out SO BEAUTIFULLY; I don't think my fiance and I have ever looked that good in our lives. I couldn't recommend Mariana more highly. -

A visionary. And soo professional!
Words can't adequately describe how phenomenal Mariana is! She is the perfect mix of professional and an artist. My husband an I met her in Napa, and after I had researched an insane amount of photographers, we booked her to take our anniversary photos there. Mariana exceeded any expectations I had of a photographer. She picked the perfect location, the lighting was exquisite, and she made the whole experience something we could authentically enjoy. She put us at ease and made us feel like a million bucks, so we were really relaxed- and our photos showed our genuine personalities. We had such a blast during the shoot, and seeing the pictures was such a gift. Her work is of the highest quality. She has a killer eye for photography and a personality that sets her apart from so many others. I really can't say enough great things about her and her work. If it had it my way, she would be our photographer for life! Mariana is the best in the business! -

Best Wedding Photographer Out There!! Highly Recommend
There are a lot of very stressful things about planning a wedding, but once you've selected Mariana for your wedding (and engagement!) photography, you know that's one thing you certainly won't need to worry about. I found Mariana through an industry recommendation, and it was an absolute pleasure working with her from start to finish. First off, her pricing is incredibly reasonable (after looking at a lot of different photographers, her pricing was hands-down the best deal out there). She is also so responsive, she will never leave you waiting on her when it comes to questions, scheduling, etc. Plus, she's helpful in so many different ways, offering recommendations for other vendors, since she lives in the Napa area and knows a lot of people in the industry.
It goes without saying that her photography is fantastic - she knows how to capture all the fun moments, as well as the serious ones, and was a huge help in determining where exactly we would take our photos for the best background, lighting, etc. But perhaps the best of all is her general attitude and personality - you won't find a nicer, more energetic person who makes the whole photographer process (which can be awkward in the beginning!) so much fun. She kept my entire bridal party laughing the whole time, and kept everyone organized (while maintaining a calm demeanor) that helped keep the entire wedding on time.
I feel very lucky to have found Mariana and have had her involved in my wedding day. I would recommend her to anyone (and have done so with many friends!) so reach out to her today before she books up! -

Wonderful Experience
Mariana did our wedding photos for our fall vineyard/golf course wedding. What a fabulous experience! I told her exactly what I wanted to be photographed and what I didn't care about, and she did exactly that! As we live out of state, all of our communication before the wedding was via telephone or text. She was very quick to respond and easy to collaborate ideas with. Once we met, she made the effort to get to know my partner and myself and was very pleasant to work with. Many guests complimented her sweet and easy-going personality during the wedding!
All this talk and I haven't even gotten to the photos. They were AMAZING. We chose Napa because of the colors and scenery and all the photos really made these pop! I can't wait to get these printed and around our home, they are show-stopping! All this and her services were VERY reasonably priced. We were promised at least 300 photos but ended up with over 600 photos, all as perfect as the last.
I hope I get the chance to work with Mariana again (like I said, out of town!). I can't thank her enough for these once in a lifetime photos! -

From the offset she was very friendly and informative in her communication with us. Mariana had a great knowledge of the local area and the location she selected for us using her contacts was beautiful. We literally had an entire vineyard to ourselves!
Mariana made us both feel very comfortable from the outset and provided us with clear direction as well as clearly communicating the effect she was looking for at each of the places we took photos. After the shoot we were really excited to see the end product and we didn't have to wait long for the end product! The turnaround time to get the shots was great and we could really see the thought and creativity that had gone into the shoot. We had a small planned elopement in Sonoma, and Mariana captured the entire day perfectly!!
From first contact Mariana was so warm and personable. She responded quickly, professionally, she answered all of my questions, and her questionnaire for us was thoughtful and well put together. I made one visit to Sonoma (I live in San Diego) prior to the wedding to see the ceremony and reception venues. Mariana was able to meet us there and added to the fun and excitement of the visit.
We were in touch a handful of times before the wedding day to finalize details. The day of she was early and got right to work, the photos speak for themselves but beyond the images she produced she was so wonderful and easy to work with on an otherwise hectic day. After the wedding we received a few preview snapshots and nearly made me cry. The full photo collection was sent even faster than she had in her contract. There are so many favorites we’re not sure what to do, we don’t have enough wall space for all the photos we want to print.
I can’t say enough about her, she is a lovely person and an amazing photographer. I highly recommend her and hope to work with her again! -

My husband and I were recently married in Napa Valley. While planning the wedding from the Houston area, we didn't know where to start searching for a photographer. Mariana came highly recommended and totally exceeded our expectations. She managed to capture the beauty of every single moment and the photos were absolutely breathtaking. Beyond Our Greatest Expectations!
Mariana came to us by way of family referral. After seeing her work for years, we knew she was an obvious choice to photograph our most memorable day. From our initial conversations, to meeting Mariana at the venue a few months before, to the actual big day, she was fantastic to work with. We have a huge (and loud) family and she worked with everyone with much ease and patience. Many people mentioned how wonderful she was at capturing every moment, as they saw her float through the crowd the entire night. We received several preview photos in the 4 weeks leading to us receiving the entire online file. We are, still to this day, completely enamored with how well Mariana captured every detail of our beautiful wedding. I highly recommend her. -

There are not enough great things to say about Mariana Calderon!
She was our wedding photographer just this past April and we absolutely loved both her and her work. After what seemed to be endless research, we knew we wanted to hire her after our first phone conversation. She was sweet, helpful, thorough and extremely professional.
Once on site, Mariana’s approach of just blending in with our guests and capturing candid moments was exactly what we were looking for. Our wedding pictures are stunning. The shoot yielded absolutely beautiful shots that show our personality, as well as toddler’s (which was not easy!)
She is also unbelievably easy to work with, both in setting up the shoot, the day of, and when she delivered the images. She is super responsive over text and email. She even sent some gorgeous teasers via text the day after.
In person, Mariana is really kind and friendly. All of our guests felt very comfortable with her, to the point that she felt like a wedding guest herself.
End-to-end, we couldn’t have had a better experience, nor have we ever seen a better set of wedding photos. I couldn’t recommend Mariana more! -

What an amazing job Mariana did capturing our special day! She exceeded our expectations by capturing every moment with such detail and elegance, while helping us feel relaxed, keeping it fun and encouraging us to enjoy the moment. She has such a positive and fun energy that makes you feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. She was one of the first to arrive at the venue and captured every moment, from getting ready, all the little details that she put together herself, to make sure we got all the bridesmaids, groomsmen, family photos, the private intimate first look moments, all the way up to dancing into the night! From what can be a busy and chaotic process, she made everything so natural and easy. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Mariana! She took our engagement and wedding photos - and provided me with great recommendations for make-up and hairstylists which I ended up using. She was so fun and friendly, but also very professional and helpful. She collaborated with us when figuring out specific shots and how to best capture different moments, as well as helped create our wedding timeline. Each one of my bridesmaids came up to me (individually and unprompted) to tell me how awesome she was. I have a few friends getting married in the next 12-18 months and I've recommended Mariana to all of them. She occasionally did take a little longer than I would have liked (maybe 7-10 days) to respond to some texts/emails, however she ultimately always got back to me, and more often than not in a timely manner. Not to mention, her photos are absolutely stunning!! So extremely happy with my experience working with her. -
