From the moment Maria called me her energy, kindness and professionalism won the day.” I had called several vendors and they were all quite expensive. It had gotten very overwhelming and confusing. Then my phone rang and it was Maria Teresa! Her joyful demeanor and honest approach Calmed me all the way down. On the day of our wedding she showed up right on time and demonstrated the same attitude and professionalism and kindness that she did over the phone. For me I consider Maria Teresa a friend now. She did phenomenal work with my hair and make up! Her presence and positivity just seem to match the full mood of the day. She will always have a special place in our heart. And I must mention she beat all other vendors with her Very fair prices. I was afraid to use someone for my wedding that I did not know and then I found it online. I was terrified right up until the moment that she arrived but as soon as she did, I knew for sure that my daughter and I were in the best hands possible to prepare us for my wedding day.
She arrived right on time with all the supplies that were needed. She provided expert Hair and Makeup for both of us and we could not be happier with the results!!!

Our wedding was scheduled in Asheville, NC, where it was canceled in light of the devastating impact of hurricane Helene. We held a small ceremony in FL instead. Maria Teresa took me in as her client with only two weeks' notice and was highly understanding, compassionate, and accommodating. From the first text message and phone call, she made me feel so comfortable and loved. She did both my hair and makeup on the wedding day and added a few layers to my hair with a haircut, something I did not have time to get done beforehand. Every bride wants to feel beautiful on their wedding day, and I felt like the MOST beautiful bride in the world because of Maria Teresa! I highly recommend her not only for her bridal services but also for her haircut and salon services. -

I am so glad I hired Maria Teresa for my wedding. As a curly haired girl living in Florida, I was looking for an artist that could work with my natural curly hair. Maria Teresa did my hair on my wedding day and it turned out even more beautiful than I imagined, and most importantly, it held up the entire day. MariaTeresa is so talented. She did hair and makeup for my mother and I for my wedding. She truly listens to what you want, and makes you look and feel like your true self. I love how she makes the application look light and natural. I also loved the old Hollywood curls she did for me. She gets back to you right away & everything was perfect. I don't normally wear makeup, it wasn't heavy on my face and it looked flawless for pictures! We had a hiccup with when we needed to be done for pictures and her and her amazing team made it happen!
There were a few for makeup that took a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait because everyone looked GORGEOUS! :)

I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one Maria Teresa provided! I had a small elopement ceremony, and she helped ensure the day was absolutely perfect. She did both my hair and makeup at my home. Not only did she do a great job, she made the experience so fun! We listened to music, talked, and had a blast while I was getting ready. I would recommend Maria Teresa to anyone! Me and my fiancé decided to finally get married and had less than 3 weeks to plan our entire wedding. I had well meaning friends and family offer to do my make up but after a trial run it just wasn’t going to work out. I called Maria Teresa 4 days before my wedding and even though she was already overbooked, she worked me in since I had an early morning wedding. She did my hair and make up and I was very happy with both. I didn’t want any visitors in the room with me, and she helped ensure I had my privacy and helped me with my dress and jewelry. She also gave me a much needed haircut the morning before my wedding. While I was getting ready she put on some upbeat music to help me relax, and even gave me a little fan to use to keep me comfortable. She went above and beyond my expectations to help with every detail. Thank you so much for making me look my best on my special day! You have another customer for life 💗🥰 -

Maria Teresa is hands down PHENOMENAL! Firstly, she has such a wonderful personality that people can't help but to gravitate towards. She is warm and welcoming and puts even the most uncomfortable people at ease. She worked extremely well with my 11 year old daughter who isn't comfortable with makeup at all.
She's also incredibly flexible, something you may really need in a MUA/ hair stylist for any large occasion. She not only drove 2 hours to get to our location, she packed up half way through so that we could get to the venues getting ready room when it opened.
Lastly, but actually most importantly, Maria Teresa is an outstanding makeup artist and hair stylist! She highlighted everyone's features perfectly. Everyone looked stunning and she was able to make that happen in record time!
Maria Teresa is the kindest and most professional person that you will meet. She even helped my mom with makeup tips and put on false lashes for her after she was done with the girls that were getting their makeup and hair done. She made my mom feel so beautiful!

I originally had my wedding planned for March 28, 2020. When I had to postpone last minute to July 12,2020 Maria Teresa didn't even hesitate to accommodate. She listened to my concerns and adjusted every step of the way. She is someone who is not only great at what she does, but truly cares about you as a person. She's going to be your biggest fan and advocate and that's what I loved most. I would get sweet texts from her just checking in and that just proved to me how genuine she truly is. Working with Maria Teresa was a total dream! From the first email and then phone call she was so responsive and understanding. We quickly set a time and date for a trial. Meeting her in person was lovely, she was so kind and listened to everything I needed and was looking for. She helped me find the best look and feel confident and excited!! Throughout the process some of my bridesmaids added services. She was great with their questions too. She checked in the week of the wedding to be sure I had everything I needed, even if it was just someone to talk to. On the day of, she was fun, fast and efficient. We had such a great time with her and everyone loved the hair and makeup!! Book Maria Teresa - you won’t be disappointed!
Maria Teresa (Maite) did an awesome job for my wedding! If you are needing hair or makeup for your wedding, I highly recommend her! We did a destination wedding and she came to our beach house to do hair for two of my ladies and hair and makeup for me. She picked the perfect colors for my makeup and did all of our hair exactly as we wanted. She was able to adjust her schedule last minute to do a hair/makeup trial for me when we got into Jacksonville, which was a great help as I wanted to try out hair extensions for the wedding. She’s very good at what she does and even teaches hair and makeup classes. She also showed me how to pay with Venmo, which I hadn’t used before, and was very patient at helping me learn how to use to it. I really appreciated that she sent me some pictures of my hair too, since we didn’t have a photographer take “getting ready” photos. Not only does she do great work, but she’s an awesome person, very sweet, great to talk with, and lots of fun. If I was in the area more often, I would love to have her always do my hair. Highly, highly, recommend! -

I had a wonderful experience with Maria Theresa ("Maite"). I had a destination wedding in St. Augustine. Maite arrived promptly and did my mother's make up, then my own makeup and hair. Hire her now!! She is the best ever!!! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding. Also she did my mothers hair and makeup!!! She is still doing my hair and she is so talented at what she does. I was nervous to find someone I could trust but once I met her , I knew I could trust her for my big day. You will gain a loving and caring friend and will be happy you picked her. I honestly could say that having her at my big day made everything 100% better. Above & Beyond
Maria went above and beyond for us on our day. She came to the hotel to do all of our makeup, she was amazing to work with. I have a very sick mother who is dying and was really worried about looking sick, Maria made my mother look amazing and she felt so beautiful, no one could even tell that my mother only had a few months left of life. Maria is the best!!!
Maria made this part of my wedding the most relaxed and stress free! My hair was amazing and stayed perfect through the wind, sun, sweat, and sand at my wedding and the same with the make up! I received so many compliments and her choice in color was perfect and made my eyes pop! I didn’t have time for a trial and I was really worry about having someone I didn’t know do my hair and make for this special day, but she knew exactly what I wanted, she nailed the natural look I was looking for my hair and my makeup looked so natural and beautiful too!!! I just can’t express how happy and satisfied I was with her and seen my pictures again just remind me over and over again that I made the right choice by hiring her. Maite did a beautiful job with my hair and makeup. She and her team took great care of me, my mom, my MIL, my bridesmaids, and my flower girl.
