Maria and Justin were a joy to work with for our engagement and wedding photos and video. We had to reschedule engagement photos a few times due to monsoon season, but Maria was flexible, responded quickly and was able to coordinate changes. Wedding day was nothing but smooth with Maria and Justin. They had previously worked at our venue so they knew the best places to take photos and video. Their raw talent is amazing and evident through their work. They are fast at responding and quickly got our sneak peek photos to us. My husband and I can not recommend Maria and her team enough! Her photography and video aesthetic is beautiful, and she truly puts her heart and soul into your big day. Maria is also wonderful at guiding you through the shoots and teaching you how to pose naturally (this was a huge help for us!). We've gotten so many compliments on our photos, and we still obsess over them to this day!

We absolutely adored working with Maria Damian Photography for our wedding! From start to finish, Maria and her husband exceeded every expectation we had and made the entire experience so memorable. Maria’s communication was impeccable—she stayed in touch weeks and even days leading up to our wedding, making sure we were comfortable and had no lingering questions. Since we were planning our wedding from out of town, she went above and beyond by hopping on a Zoom call to get to know us and walk us through her process. She even provided her personal phone number for quick texts, which made communication so much easier. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile meant the world to us.
One of the most thoughtful touches was Maria attending our rehearsal the day before the wedding. She took the time to scout the best photo locations at our venue, Hacienda del Sol in Tucson, Arizona, and considered things like lighting, angles, and sunset timing. She helped coach me and my fiance on a few poses for walking down the aisle, etc. This level of preparation gave us so much confidence going into our wedding day. On the big day, Maria showed up on time and brought incredible energy. She immediately put us at ease, which made taking photos feel natural and fun. Even my husband, who typically dreads being in front of a camera, said he genuinely enjoyed the experience! Maria has such a talent for making you feel comfortable and ensuring you look your best.
Maria’s husband, who was our videographer, was equally outstanding. He was so friendly, approachable, and flexible throughout the day. The two of them make such a dynamic team, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Their familiarity with Hacienda del Sol was also a huge advantage—they knew all the hidden gems for photos and the perfect time to capture those dreamy golden-hour shots. It felt like we had friends by our side who also happened to be incredible professionals.
Although we haven’t yet received our full gallery or video, the sneak peek photos Maria shared on her Instagram blew us away. Her ability to capture the emotion, beauty, and atmosphere of the day is unmatched. Though we have not yet received our photos or video, we are beyond excited to see them in coming weeks, and we know they will be nothing short of spectacular. I'll be sure to update this review with the photos as examples :)

We used Maria & Justin for our engagement photos, wedding photos and videographer! They did such an amazing job from the first zoom meeting to the very end. They were great to answer any questions perfect with planning and made my wedding day so easy and memorable. We received so much beautiful footage of our wedding day and in a timely manner. We chose to have Maria shoot our wedding because I really liked the "natural light" look of her photos and because of her affordable pricing.
In our pre-wedding communication, Maria was such a pleasure to work with. She was always very responsive to texts and emails and was always very polite, professional, and personable. On the day of the wedding, she wasn't feeling well, but she powered through like a champ and took amazing photos! Beautiful experience
One thing that caught my attention towards Maria and Justin was their style of work and how natural and clean their photos are. They captured beautiful photos and clips from our wedding that will stick with us forever. Not only that but they make you feel so comfortable when taking your picture. Maria and Justin are amazing!
First and foremost, Maria has the exact editing style that my wife and I wanted. Too many wedding photographers edit their photos in sepia tone it seems. Sure it looks dramatic, but it looks sad and dreary. Weddings are supposed to be happy occasions, and the photos should reflect that. Maria’s style is bright and airy in comparison and she emphasizes bright colors that make the photos pop and stand out. This is exactly the style we were looking for and Maria delivered.
Maria always responded quickly to our messages and traveled to our city twice for engagement photos and of course wedding day. She gave us guidance and advice the entire time on how to best take pictures so that we were ready on wedding day. Maria is fairly new to this game, but is already experienced and knowledgeable. We’ve watched her portfolio mature very quickly since we booked her and are very pleased with how everything turned out!
Maria is very flexible and open to whatever you want to do as the customer, both beforehand and on the day of.
Maria also presents great value as she also provides a videographer for the day (Justin). We loved having to only do 1 booking for both photographer and videographer.
Overall, we highly recommend Maria for your wedding photography needs.

We got married in June 2021, and we found Maria & Justin on this website. We were so pleased to meet with them initially via Zoom, as we live a couple hours away. They asked questions, were attentive, and helped formulate a wedding day timeline to make the day go smoothly. They came to our rehearsal dinner to practice with posing, pre-wedding plans and video content. This was in place of an engagement session that was included in our package, but we had previously taken photos for this. They were able to capture our day perfectly, and provided two videos (as well as raw footage of our speeches without specifically asking for it prior). They were a pleasure to work with, and were friendly throughout the process. We highly recommend this duo! -

Like working with an old friend!
Maria was a joy to work with. Her and her husband helped get all the pictures we wanted without us feeling rushed or pressured. She has an amazing positive attitude and relaxing presence, and it felt as though we were working with an old friend.
Her professionalism and creativity are effortless, and she had a quick turnaround time for getting our photos to us.
Maria had great communication with us, and I felt comfortable from start to finish.
Maria had fantastic suggestions, which resulted in beautiful photos. She went out of her way to make our wedding day as perfect as possible.
I also felt that we got a huge bang for our buck, as she is affordable, but her work is amazing.
I would highly recommend hiring her for any special occasion! -
