    This is an amazing shop. Well worth your drive. From the moment we arrived it was existent they love their job and know their stuff. My sister find her dream gown and since they do not charge extra for alterations we all saved $$$. We got out bridesmaids and tux and were ALL pleased with the service as well as quality and price. We all looked amazing on Sara's special day. Love these ladies. I would give them a 10 if it were possible. Thanks ladies!!!

    Margo went above and beyond. I loved that all wedding dresses had the option of a packaged dress + alterations price. I would definitely recommend to other folks (and I have!)

    I absolutely loved my experience with Margo's. I worked with Rachel during the process of picking out my dress, and was a tremendous help as I didn't know what style of dress I wanted. She was able to figure out things I liked about dresses and find other dresses that were similar. I worked with Margo on the alterations of my dress and she did a fabulous job and made the dress fit perfectly.

    We used Margo's for my dress, bridesmaids, tuxedos, and our flowers. They were able to help us choose everything we needed to create our vision for our wedding. We used their Jim's line for tuxedos, and the tuxedos fit great. My brother needed some adjustments to his pants as his original pants were very baggy, but they were able to get a pair that fit much better. The flowers were one thing that I didn't have a specific vision for and Margo was able to help me create bouquets that were absolutely stunning and I received many compliments.

    I got my bridesmaids dresses and also had my wedding gown altered at Margo's. She has a great selection of wedding and bridesmaid's dresses. Margo is a great resource for anything wedding related, she knows it all!! I was so impressed with the alterations they did, my dress fit perfectly.

    I wanted to use this shop, because I liked their 10% off if you buy 3 major things (dress, tux, bridesmaid) and I grew up around the area. Margo helped to find my dress and decided to start using this designer so I could get it from her. My bridesmaids dresses and my wedding dress all arrived on time, early actually. They were available to do alterations and did a great job. They were busy on Saturdays, and sometimes had difficuly keeping someone's attention even if I did have an appt. In the end, I was very satisfied with the shop.

    Margo and Tracy are amazing! I didn't have an appointment the first time I showed up but they were able to work with me and didn't complain about the lack of appointment. They have lots of variety in the dresses and a wide price range, so they have something nice for any bride-to-be. They had lots of good advise for the dress and accessories, and stayed friendly through multiple visits as I narrowed my list of dresses down. Alterations are included with them (except adding the button for the bustle). I fell in love with my dress and they held it at the shop for free until I was ready for it to come home. One of my bridesmaids also got a dress from them and they were able to make alterations for her quickly. Another bridesmaid bought her dress elsewhere and they were willing to alter it for her as well. They also offer flowers and we were not disappointed. My husband hates silks, but the ones that Margo showed him had him stunned. So real looking! They also offered to come to the rescue the day before the wedding when my husband's tux from another vendor was sized wrong, twice! Tracy offered to help us find a tux last minute if needed (fortunately the other vendor finally got it right!) The whole time through multiple trips to their shop and using multiple services they were both very friendly and professional. Margo has a great deal of experience and has lots of great advice.

    Very helpful associates, answered the millions of questions I had. Lots of room to try on gowns and it was especially nice that the gowns weren't in bags and crammed on a rack. They were very easy to look through and clearly marked.

    Margo's is a hometown store run by Margo herself. She is delightful woman whom I have loved to work with over the years. They do free alterations on all gown purchases which is phenomenal. I know for a fact that my alterations would have cost several hundred dollars. Since Margo has been doing this so long she is incredibly knowledgeable and walks you through every step, even those not related to your gown, etc. She was a wonderful point of reference. (the other employees are wonderful too). They were very accomodating of my schedule and needs and everything turned out beautifully. My dress was very intricate with lace and beading, especially at the bottom. Since I am very short we had to cut off a significant amount, but you couldn't even tell that a single change was made--the workmanship was top-notch. We also got our tuxedo's from there. We had a lot of complications & changes on our end, but Margo's dealt with them in stride and helped reassure me every step of the way. And they even saved me last minute by renting me votive holders for my wedding at the amazing price of 25 cents each!

    I would DEFINITELY recommend this store.

    Margo and her team went to the ends of the earth to accomodate me and my out-of-town bridal party! She even called the dress company overseas to see if I still had time to order the dress I wanted! They were very flexible w/ my out of town bridesmaids and worked us into her busy schedule when we needed fittings!

    Small Town Shop with Options and Quality

    Margo and her staff were good to work with from selecting a dress to final fitting.

    Weekends are busy in the shop, so I would recommend weekdays for appointments.

    I chose a dress by Essenes of Australia. I ordered in February which was cutting it close for completion for the wedding on August 24, but it was ready! It was very pricey (in my opinion), but worth it. Basic alterations were included in the cost and completed by Margo herself

    The had two issues: 1) The bustle would not stay in place throughout the evening and I had to have it secured with safety pins, so it wouldn't come apart on the dance floor. 2) Long clear threads on the dress that I asked about at every fitting and was ensured they would be clipped during the final steam. They were not and we spent some time clipping them before photos began.

    Oh Angie you looked amazing! We are so glad that you chose to get your gown through Margo's. The clear threads that were not clipped, we apologize for, however, with an Essense Gown the bead work is attached to these threads and we did not want to trim something that was doing to cause you to lose the sequins or beads on your gown. We did trim what we thought was in the best interest of the gown. Also, the bustle is made to not be permanent. We are sorry that you seemed to have difficulty with yours. I wonder if you remembered to close the hooks once you looped the thread over them? Well, you looked stunning! Thank you for sharing the pictures, we love when we get to see it all come together!     I went to the St. Louis Bride and Groom Wedding Show in August, 2015. I ordered a veil from Margo's. The purchase was 50% off of a new veil, if you bought at the wedding show. No refunds. It was a very unique style. The veil that I tried on had some wear and tear at the attachment to the comb, and I remember running my finger across it while I was making my decision. The shop was supposed to get the veil in 4 weeks, notify me of it's arrival, and send me the veil at this point. At the four week mark, my mother called the shop to ask about the veil. They said the veil had just arrived that day, and they would ship it to me immediately. The veil came folded tightly in a small box with tissue paper and a leopard print bag. This was obviously not a manufacturer's packaging. Also, the veil was dingy and had soiled spots. I emailed the shop to let them know the status of the veil. They apologized and said they had never had a problem with the manufacturer before. I needed to wait to return the veil, as I had scheduled my hair trial around the veil's delivery. They said I could use the veil for the trial and send it back, and meanwhile, they would order a new one right away. I realized that they sent me the veil from the wedding show. I was waiting for the new veil to arrive and would then ship the other veil back to them. They then told me that there had been a misunderstanding and they were waiting for the old veil to come to them before ordering another. At this point, I was completely disgusted. I drove the hour out to Union, to straighten it out. The new veil was pristine and in the manufacturer's packaging. I had paid $20 extra at the bridal show for shipping for my veil, in the first place. They would not refund me any money, not even the shipping. I was shown no respect, and I was lied to - on several occasions. I would never go back to Margo's, and I will be sure to let others know about my terrible experience.
