Incredible Experience

LOVED my experience at Margene's Bridal. After a rough experience with La Neige in downtown Boise that left me without a wedding dress about 5 weeks before my wedding. I went to Margene's and with Keeley's help I was able to find the perfect dress. She made my day, and took so much stress off of our shoulders. Would recommend coming to Margene's over any other shop in the area.

Stunning Wedding Dresses!

I bought my wedding dress from Margene's Bridal and it was absolutely stunning! They have amazing service and their staff helped me find my dream dress. They also got me in touch with a seamstress that did amazing alterations. I LOVE MARGENE'S

Amazing customer service and dresses

I found my dress one day during COVID. They were closed, doors locked and everything. I knocked on the door and the consultant answered. After a bad experience at David’s Bridal the consultant at Margene’s let me try some dresses on. She went out of her way to help me find a dress. She was so sweet and not pushy at all. I was so thankful she was there and I ended up finding the dress of my dreams.

Perfect fit!

I met with Margenes Bridal and felt like a total princess! I chose my dress the same day I tried it on. The girls made me feel comfortable and were very flexible when styles changed. Can’t wait for our big day!

Beautiful dresses

My experience with Margene’s was the absolute best. I had looked at one other dress shop before stopping in to Margene’s. I didn’t have an appointment but they talked to me and I told them the dress I was looking for. They showed me the exact dress of my dreams and I was able to try it on that day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and they were so communicative through the whole process.

Very easy to schedule the appointment, the consultant was attentive, helpful, and, allowed us to pick and try on as many dresses as we liked. I live in NM and was only in Boise for a couple days for a family function so they shipped my dress to me after I picked it out. Very happy with the style, fit, and service.

Margenes Bridal was an amazing place to purchase my dress! They have a great selection and they made finding my dress so easy and stress free. After my dress came in I tried it on in store and it did not fit like I expected it to. I was so shocked that I didn’t even say anything. After a couple sleepless night I called them and discussed my concerns and they got me in right away to address the issues I was having. Everything ended up being perfect!

I loved working with the girls at Margene's. They were helpful and happy every time I came in. The dress was perfect, and they even put the bustle in same-day at the last minute because I forgot to have it done.

Loved my dress! They listened to what I was looking for - which I only discovered after trying on a couple of dresses somewhere else so it totally changed what I signed up my appointment to be. They stayed within my budget and didn't show me anything outside my budget. They even let me take the floor model for a discount! Definitely recommend. Wish they had bridesmaid dresses too.

I'm not sure why anyone shops anywhere but here. Margene's is amazing. It is a small shop but has great inventory. The stylists are AMAZING and so helpful.

I love Margene's Bridal. They made finding my wedding dress SO quick and easy! I got my dress around Christmas and was a tad short on money at that time, but they worked with me and I was able to put a down payment that day. The dress is beautiful, the material is high quality, and it was affordable. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find anything on such short notice, but I couldn't have asked for a better dress! I love it and the girls who work there are all so great!

The dress selection at Margene's was incredible, and different from what you might find at other places. The prices are also very realistic and not too expensive for what you get.

Margene's is wonderful! Their consultants listen to what YOU want. At other dress stores, they kept putting me in dress styles I didn't like and would not listen to what I wanted to try. They work with you until you find the perfect dress! I am so happy I went there and I have found the perfect dress! I wouldn't have found it without their help! It's also fairly inexpensive and you get such good quality!

Margene's bridal was the perfect place for me to find a dress. They were so friendly and were really respectful. They were patient and encouraged me to tell them what I liked and did not like about the dresses. They found dresses within my budget and never went over. I would recommend them to any bride who wants to make wedding dress shopping a great experience!

Margene's was awesome!! I went in and tried on dresses honestly not expecting to find much (I had been to several other stores with dissapointing results) and the first dress I tried on I loved!! It was in my price range, adorable, and made me feel like a bride! I can't wait to walk down the aisle in the dress and marry the man I love!!

I got my wedding dress from here and it was gorgeous! The girl who helped me, I believe her name was Brittany was so sweet and awesome! Every time I've gone in there they've always been so nice and full of compliments which is never bad! ;) I would buy from them all over again!

Working with Margene's Bridal in Boise was great! I found all of the dresses I had seen in magazines that I wanted to try on. They provided great service and were very helpful in picking out the perfect veil and sash to go with my dress. They were attentive and patient, and made the dress buying experience so enjoyable for me.

Margene's is the absolute best place to find a dress for prom or for a wedding. I bought my wedding dress through them and my prom dress from when I was in high school. My mom also bought her dress for my wedding from them. They go above and beyond for their customers and are so sweet to work with. I love them so much that I even worked for them in high school. I always recommend them to any prom girl or bride I come across. You cannot find more beautiful or better quality dresses than at Margenes!!

Margene's staff were so helpful, professional, and friendly. The consultant listened to what I was looking for and it only took a couple dresses before I was standing in the most breathtaking gown. It was exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding day. When my dress came in they gave me a list of outside seamstresses that they recommended for alterations which I thought was wonderful as there was no pressure to use an expensive in house seamstress. A week before the wedding I took my dress back to Margene's for a free final pressing, and two days before the wedding I picked up my perfect gown. Thank you Margene's Bridal!

My lady that helped me, Chelsey, was very sweet, talkative, understanding an made me feel like a bride!!!! She treated me with so much respect and kindness. It's no wonder they have appointments. There staff is trained very excellent! I would recommend this to anyone. I went to Davida bridal first and that was a mistake. If your looking for a beautiful seas in your budget go to this store!

My dress was absolutely the dress of my dreams. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! Margene's has so many amazing dresses to choose from and they can even sell dresses right from their stock in the store. I ordered my dress and I was very happy with the order time, be sure to start this part of the wedding planning early, though, dresses can take up to 6 months if ordered. I think that Kim and Jaylee are highly knowledgable in current trends as well as timeless looks and they are very honest with their brides. I think they both have an eye for flattering styles on any figure!

I got my dress here. It was beautiful! I told them my cost limit, and they stayed right inside it. They never went even a dollar over. The girl helped me in and out of the petticoats and dresses, she explained all the material to me, she made suggestions about color (I went with ivory, rather than pure white), she was never overbearing and didn't interrupt when I asked my roommates for suggestions.

I found my dress with the great staff at Margene's! They were thoughtful and attentive in helping me find the right gown for me. I felt very comfortable and thought they had a great selection of wedding gowns. Their dress selection was a little on the pricey side for my budget, but I found the dress so I opted to push the bank a little...I'm sure this happens a lot wherever you go! Overall, great experience and I'll definitely be recommending them to friends and family!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Margene's! The lady that helped us was beyond helpful, and pulled down a few of her recommended dresses based on ones that I liked. She put up with me trying on 2 gowns a couple different times to compare, and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They had an awesome selection of dresses, both that could be ordered as well as styles off the rack. Overall it was a very pleasant appointment!

I fell in love with Margene's when I was 16 years old. It was the day I purchased my first prom dress. As I scanned the store, I thought to myself, "I am going to buy ALL my dance dresses from here!" Five dresses later...and my high school experience came to an end. My fifth dress I purchased was my favorite, and I was sad that I wouldn't be able to wear anymore pretty dresses. It came time to purchase my wedding dress after meeting the man of my dreams, and I KNEW Margene's was the one and only place I would look for my dream dress. I was devastated when we drove past the store and I found it was no longer there. I was elated to find that there had simply been a store change. My mom and I went through only TWO dresses at the new location before I found THE dress and veil. On my wedding day, I felt flawless... Everyone loved my dress, I felt beautiful. My groom couldn't believe how gorgeous the dress was. When he first saw me he said, "that dress was made for you." I love Margene's. The service is amazing and they genuinely care about you and your experience as a bride. I was confident I would find my dream dress and I did. The prom dresses have since been passed down to my little sister, cousins, and nieces...the happiness lives on! Thank you for being there for all my high school dances and especially for my wedding!

They were FANTASTIC! I didn't have to make an appointment to try dresses on, or feel pressured to buy anything (like I did at David's Bridal). And I had all the help and attention I needed. They even shipped a dress from another store--in like a day--just so I could try it on in a different size. AND! If you buy your dress the first day you come in, you get your veil for free! Even the one with all the Austrian crystals on it. And they steam (+ minor cleaning) for free :)

I had the most awesome wedding dress thanks to Chelsea and Margene's Bridal and their wonderful seamstress Michele. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on, and with the help of your seamstress referral of Michele, I had a "one-of-a-kind" absolutely "STUNNING" dress for our special day. Michele is simply amazing and a miracle sewer who can do anything you want done. What an awesome seamstress who is extremely professional and kind and understanding of your needs!!!! I LOVE- LOVE- LOVE my dress and got so many compliments on it. Thank you for the dress of my dreams Margene's and Michele! I had the princess dress of my dreams to get married in and it is the most absolute best dress EVER!!!!!! I looked and felt beautiful. Truly a dream come true. Thank you so much.

There were some problems getting my dress. It was lost twice and I ended up having to get a completely different one. But I did get a discount and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The consultant was unfriendly and I felt as if she was somewhere else. She didn't really pick up on my likes or dislikes and if it wasn't for her higher up i probably would have walked out without a dress.

I just love Margene's. Kim is absolutely wonderful at the Idaho Falls Store. She provided me with a dress I loved for a price that was reasonable. She was not pushy she just really listened to what you have to say. However, that being said the lady that owns the Idaho Falls Store (Joni i think) is extremely pushy and rude. The seamstress they recommended altered my dress incorrectly. Instead of telling me they could get it fixed no problem before my wedding day she argued with me and told me my body was uneven and that I shouldn't be able to lift my arms because that is how princesses hug. They then returned my dress to the original seamstress to fix it and I received a call from that seamstress saying she passed y dress onto someone else and that she has already taken it apart... this was all without my permission. Thank goodness the second lady was an incredible seamstress and fixed it in no time. If they offer you a seamstress who lives about an hour outside of town REFUSE THEIR OFFER.

They have a good selection of dresses of all different styles. If you want a lot of choices, it's a good place to go.

I went through Margenes in Idaho Falls, ID. The dress was a little expensive for the quality but otherwise it was just what I was looking for. I dont know that I would choose the same style again but Margenes was a great place to shop.

Great place to find nice dresses with SLEEVES!!! The ladies were very nice. And were willing to help us get all the dresses that we needed for our bridesmaid's shipped to Alaska!!

I like the dress they have here, it's just a little too expensive for me. The sale person was great and helpful. Wish they had more selection.

I had an absolutely awful experience. The kind that keeps brides up at night praying it doesn't happen. The store ordered the wrong size dress for me and then lied to me about it. They said they would pay for alterations and not to worry. The alterations place they sent me to did a terrible job- the dress pooched in the stomach, totally unacceptable for a wedding dress. I ended up having to pay for the alterations. Then had to pick out a new wedding dress ONE WEEK before the wedding. They made me pay the difference in the prices of the dresses after they admitted to me that it was their mistake. And the dress was off the rack since we didn't have time to order another one.

I ordered my dress 7 months before my wedding. A month before the wedding I called to check on it and they said it had never been shipped from China. They offered to sell me the floor sample but didn't offer a discount. I had to ask for a discount and the best they could do was 10% off. I was so upset that I had to wear a used dress on my special day. To make matters worse, they did the same thing to my friend 4 years later! I think it's their way of getting rid of the floor samples! Also, I left a similar review on their FB page and it was deleted. The only reason i give them 1 star for quality of service and professionalism was that the original sales girl that helped me was amazing! Unfortunately for Margene's she left.

Do NOT go to Margene's in Boise ID! The staff is HORRIBLE and rude!! My little sister went there yesterday and told her consultant (Joli) that she found a pretty dress that she liked at another store, but wanted to try on other dresses and styles to make sure that was the dress of her dreams. Right then the consultant started to get a negative attitude. She gave my sister a few dresses that she didn't really like and then announced to everyone really rudely, "we can try on dresses all day, but if you already found one that you like then you might as well go get that one!" My sister reminded her again that she was there to try on other styles and wasn't 100% sold on the other one. After that the consultant acted as if she just wanted us to leave and pretty much just gave up on my sister. The consultant completely changed the mood for everyone in the room and my sister left discouraged and in tears. My advice to you do NOT go to Margene's! Every bride needs to have an amazing experience finding the dress of her dreams. The consultant needs to be loving and makes the bride feel beautiful. You will NOT get that experience at Margenes. I am only writing this because I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!!
On a happy note my sister went to BB Bridal in Boise and the consultant was amazing, kind, and made her feel beautiful! The whole experience was a 100 times better! My sister found the wedding dress of her dreams there! Go to BB Bridal and you will have an amazing experience! :)

This is the worst bridal shop I've been to. The staff were really pushy especially the manager. They were not very helpful at all. I showed them a picture of the type of dress I was looking for, then they pulled a bunch of dresses out that looked nothing like my picture. They have three rules, no pictures until you say yes to the dress, only one favorite dress at a time and you must be honest. Well I was honest and I said I don't like those dresses but they said well try it on anyways. Finally I went and picked my own dress that was closer to what I was looking for. Then it seemed that everyone in the store was trying to give me their own opinion so instead of 1 person helping me I had 3 including the manager. They were great saleswomen and used scare tactics mostly to persuade me to buy the dress. After feeling extremely pressured and very negative towards the people around me I bought the dress. Then 2 hrs later realized I didn't like it. I immediately called back to see what could be done. After 4 days of phone tag and fighting and refusing to talk to my mom but only me, we still had to pay for the dress even though I wasnt going to use it, with only 140 dollars given back as a refund. For a bride to be looking for a dress do not go to these people, they are mean and pushy and not helpful at all.

Absolutely terrible. I have been in a half dozen bridal shops and these people are the worst, hands down. I literally walked out in the middle of a conversation with the owner due to how flat-out rude she was. I cannot understand how she is able to run a business with that type of disrespect towards customers.

FYI, I'm no bridezilla. I asked a simple question and the woman blew up at me, seemingly for no reason. I get she's pregnant but that's no excuse. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The consultants are so pushy. I called and ordered a dress after visiting Margene's. Later that day, I changed my mind. I called Margene's Bridal wanting to return the dress. I spoke directly with Margene (the owner). She told me that I had to pay a 20% restocking fee. This made no sense to me because the dress was still at Margene's Bridal; I hadn't picked up the dress yet. Margene said that they do not accept returns, but that she was doing me a favor. However, on their website, the return policy states:

"PHONE ORDERS: If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 2 business days from the time you receive the item in which to postmark the item back to us. The item must be unused. We will not be able to process any exchanges or refunds that are postmarked after this 2 business day period. There is a 20% restocking fee applied to these purchases and shipping costs will not be returned."

I asked why they had to charge my so much money when the dress was still at Margene's Bridal, in stock and she couldn't give me an answer. Margene was very rude and pushy. When I told her I was buying a dress from another vendor, she talked horribly about them and talked to me as though she was my parent, telling me it was not a smart decision, etc.

Margene's Bridal should not have taken any of my money. They had no reason to. Their customer service is horrible, they're rude and they're incredibly pushy. I would not recommend Margene's Bridal to anyone.
