In a previous review, I noted that Margaret did such a phenomena job the day of our wedding. She was so helpful in the details, capturing each moment, and making each part of the day something worth treasuring. Now that I’ve received some prints, I am all the more ecstatic! My grandmother and I teared up at the sight of them. So beautiful !

Margaret was absolutely wonderful. We wound up not having the best weather that day but she managed to keep me calm and collected. She pulled a rainbow beach umbrella out of her trunk and I made it to our first look at the beach without getting wet! All of the pictures, from the little details of getting ready to the enormous family portraits, came out beautiful. And she has such a quick turnaround that you're able to relive it all in a few days through a slideshow. My family is still talking about how great they all turned out - and my cousin even booked her for her upcoming wedding. I would recommend Margaret and her crew in a heartbeat.

We can't thank Margaret and her team enough for making our whole Wedding photography experience very magical!! She is extremely kind, organized and patient. They were very fun to work with and made us very comfortable on our big day. Margaret made some great suggestions to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Lisa had originally seen Margaret's work and kept telling me how impressed she was with her sensibility. The day we met her in her home for our consultation she made us immediately feel comfortable. The warmth and genuine interest in our needs and our relationship impressed both Lisa and I. After we had a chance to view more of her work we knew we had found the right photographer for the biggest day of our lives.

Margaret listened to our wishes regarding timeline of the day and prepared us fully,
which alleviated any stress we were feeling about getting the right photos and enjoying our day. She met with us on the church grounds coached us and mapped out the best angles to shoot from so we would have a clear plan and be able to spend quality time with our family and friends.

The day of the wedding we were blessed with gorgeous weather, 70 degrees not a cloud in the sky- truly a beautiful blue sky. I had stayed with my best man at a hotel and Margaret sent her husband Dave who is her assistant and his assistant Leann to photograph us. Her husband Dave was so insightful and they made my best man and I feel so relaxed. His assistant was also helpful.

Margaret and her other assistant had shown up where Lisa was getting ready with her family. The patience and kindness they exhibited along with their sensibility and talent made everyone feel at ease. Margaret was able to capture the joy, anticipation and beauty of the day. Her photographs were able to tell the story of how my bride Lisa, her family and friends were feeling which was truly jubilant in preparing for the wedding ceremony.

When we all met at the church prior to the ceremony that day, she photographed my friends and family as well as myself right before going into the church. The ceremony and reception was beautiful and we remembered Margaret's coaching that had proven to lead to better photos and again made us both feel comfortable.

MJ Cotton is a great photographer (and so is her husband and her assistants). She completely understood our vision for a simple and relaxed beach wedding day. She got some really beautiful photos without making us pose all day, and she quickly put together a slideshow for us to share with our family while she worked on the finishing touches of our prints and digital copies. Though there were definitely some hiccups, MJ rolled with the punches and everything turned out perfect. Would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

We were so blessed to have Margaret as part of our wedding day. From the moment we met her, she made every effort to ensure that she knew exactly how we wanted to capture our wedding day, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Margaret traveled over two hours to visit our venue in Brooklyn before our wedding to get acquainted with the layout of the space, which is just one example of how Margaret goes above and beyond to produce the highest quality work possible. I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding day. Our wedding was a bit unconventional, and Margaret was there all the way to help us navigate the day and make sure that the best moments were captured. As the wedding day approached, we didn't even think of her as just a photographer but more of a friend who was taking our photos. She gave excellent insight into proper posture/positioning and what she has seen to work/not work in taking photos. Margaret also is very kind and yet knows how to appropriately tell you her opinion on situations where she may not agree. She is also very organized, and on our wedding day was able to get all the necessary photos we discussed and then some extra photos that I did not even think about.
Best of all, I think that she has an eye for capturing people in their natural environment (where people don't looked posed) and where they look their best. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for any kind of photographer and not just for weddings.

I have now used Margaret for more than just my wedding, but also for my maternity shots of my first pregnancy and also my twin pregnancy. She is a true pleasure to work with. She captured the most important moments in my life exactly the way we felt, in that moment, and exactly the way I wanted them captured. Nothing felt or looked forced at my wedding, the shots were so beautiful and natural which was exactly what I asked for. She explained previously what looks correct and things to keep in mind while we were taking our wedding photos and having that knowledge, helped us in those moments. We simply walked around and enjoyed our first hour as a married couple and she took absolutely stunning photos of us in our most happiest moments. Shortly after my wedding we found out we were expecting our first child and I had no intentions to trust anyone else with this second pivotal moment in our life. She completely blew us away again. This was a very different shoot then our wedding because we were posed and had no clue what we were doing. She made us feel so comfortable, and our shots came out looking so natural even though we were clueless how to be models. She was able to capture the love we felt for one another and show the love we had for our unborn child. The photos were breath taking. So again when I found out we were expecting, and it was twins this time around, I knew immediately I'd trust no one else with this moment other than Margaret. Except now at these shots, I wanted my 2 yr old involved. He's not the 'sit still' type of child either. I was floored at how easily she was able to get him to do the things we were asking. And even in the times when he was being less than easy, she still managed to get amazing shots of all three (or 5) of us! Margaret was and is more than just my photographer, she got to know me and my husband and then she got to know my toddler and I'm sure she will get to know the twins as well. Her work is breath taking.

Margaret was the photographer for our wedding in Asbury Park in October 2015, and she was absolutely wonderful. Margaret was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning - she is very responsive to any and all questions and you can tell that she truly enjoys what she does. Due to the weather the week prior to our wedding, Asbury Park's Zombie walk was reschedule for our wedding weekend. Initially, Margaret and I had discussed doing pictures on the Asbury boardwalk which were now locations right in the middle of the Zombie walk. Margaret called me the week of and had not only gone to the boardwalk to look over the set up for the walk, but came up with a new plan and route for pictures to help us avoid the chaos. She even mapped out a route for our trolley driver to take to avoid the crowds. I loved her ideas and suggestions. She made what could have been a very stressful event into a perfect and easy day. And her pictures were absolutely stunning - she captured such amazing moments. Margaret puts together a wonderful slideshow of pictures the day or two after the wedding that is beautiful. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out and cannot thank her enough for being a part of our day!

Margaret is simply wonderful - a talented photographer, detail-oriented coordinator, and sweet friend in one. At our first meeting, she gave me detailed and very helpful advice on timelines, logistics, and how to look good without posing. Just recently was the second time I have worked with Margaret from MJ Cotton Photography. The first was a few years ago and it was family photos with my husband and our first son. Just this past weekend we met ago at a local park for photos with my husband and our 2 sons. Both the weather and my sons' ages made the photo session challenging but Margaret proved to be flexible and patient. She never lost focus and we ended up with the most wonderful photos of our boys in their natural element. (Basically, little boys running around.) What could have been a failure of a photo session because of uncooperative subjects was a huge success and she was truly able to capture their spirit. As in the past Margaret is always very response and easy to work with.

Margaret is a fantastic photographer. I never thought we would have such beautiful, unique wedding photos. She is so warm and inviting that you feel comfortable and relaxed with her, which comes through in the photos. Margaret was wonderful to work with and took beautiful pictures.

There is something somewhat intimidating about taking wedding pictures. They're supposed to last forever and it seems that everyone will want to see them, which can make the actual process of taking the pictures rather difficult. It was easy for us to grow stiff or seem uncomfortable, but Margaret was able to help us relax and treat the pictures themselves as a form of play. She encouraged us to try and all ideas that popped into our heads which led to a few rather spectacular, if unorthodox, shots. She was also able to offer her own suggestions, providing some much needed experience to the wedding.

Margaret was able to breeze through the formal portraits, masterfully handling the difficult task of wrangling two families together, but was also brilliant with her informal shots. She slid around the ceremony and reception, never obtrusively, in order to capture some wonderfully intimate and natural shots of us, our friends, and our families. She understood the kind of moments that we valued most and captured them time and time again.

Margaret is also a consummate professional. She was very easy to contact whenever necessary and a joy to work with. She has our highest recommendation.

Margaret and her assistant (and husband!) were amazing. My husband and I started out with an engagement session and then on to the big day! Margaret was on time, completely on point, and had everything worked out to a T. We met with her and worked out a timeline a few weeks before the wedding and she stuck to every second of it. She was even able to incorporate some other pictures I was interested in the day of. She did exactly what she told us she was going to do and without flaw. Being that your wedding day is once in a lifetime, you're scared that something may go wrong (with everything!) and I have to say, my wedding pictures are by far a million times better than I could have ever hoped for. I would highly recommend Margret's photography to any bride.

A wedding day is fraught with enough concerns about making the day as perfect as possible, so it was absolutely blissful to work with Margaret J. Cotton as our photographer, because she captured every important moment - and especially the seemingly trivial ones - in her own professional, unobtrusive way. She is knowledgeable about her craft and takes pride in making each photograph beautiful and meaningful. She, herself, is calm and cheerful, so the time spent with her is pleasant and joyful. She makes you feel at ease, so there is no doubt the pictures will come out well. What I especially like is that these are not your cookie-cutter, run-of-the-mill wedding photos; Margaret takes the time to know the couple before the day of the event, then personalizes the photos for the individuals involved. The video that she makes from a selection of our photos and the accompanying music that she chooses as the soundtrack is beyond amazing, and affords us the opportunity to relive that special day over and over again. We have gotten countless compliments on the video and the photos of our wedding day and are thrilled to share them because we are so proud of Margaret J. Margaret spent a lot of time with us up front giving tips and advise to ensure a smooth wedding day. She worked well with us during our special day and was gracious with her time after the wedding to go over our options with pictures and albums. Margaret, her husband, and daughter proved to be a successful team in capturing the important moments of the day. Margaret arranged a few of these special moments in a card to us which we ultimately used as our Thank You card. It was reasonably priced and the quality of this product made us reconsider what we had originally planned to do. She is a true professional that was great to work with thru the entire process. Beautiful photos, organized, a joy to work with!

Margaret Cotton Photography including Margaret, her husband and their daughter photographed my daughter's wedding in Ocean Grove in June. They made the wedding and photographs a calm and joyous experience. Their organization and pleasant manner made the day go so well for all of us. It was a lovely silvery day and the photos taken were beautiful at all of the places - the bed and breakfast, throughout town, at the chapel, along the beach and at the reception.

When I first spoke to Margaret on the phone I could tell that she loved photographing weddings, she took great care and understood the specialness of the wedding. Prior to the wedding, my husband and I met with her and felt that she would be perfect for photographing our daughter's wedding. Not only were her photos beautiful, lively and artistic but also because she has a lovely, pleasant and calm manner.

Before the wedding, Margaret sent us organized and clear information. She also had a form which helped us plan which photos we would like taken. After my daughter and her fiance arrived in town for the wedding, they met with Margaret to discuss the photos and she provided them with helpful guidelines to enjoy their wedding day and the photography.

Margaret's sense of timing was wonderful and her knowledge of Ocean Grove helped capture the wedding in such a beautiful place.

Soon after the wedding Margaret sent us a link to see a beautiful slideshow that she assembled with highlights of the wedding. And then, not too long after that, she sent us a link to all of the wedding photos.

Margaret was the perfect photographer for my daughter and her husband's special day. I can't thank her enough. She is a joy and a pleasure to work with.

There simply are no words to describe the level of detail and magical moments that Margaret captured for our special day. People always DREAM of being able to relive their wedding moments with family, friends, and the love of their life, and she made it a reality.

My wife Rachael and I could not be happier with the results she produced. She was patient, calm, and more importantly, made my wife relaxed and stress free on the most important day of her life (so far!). Her AMAZING assistants blended into the crowd, were unobtrusive, and quite frankly, blended in so well I forgot they were photographers.

What I really could not believe, are the moments she captured that were not staged and poses for photos. Margaret captured all of those little moments that we tend to not think much about, but once we see them in a photo again we are amazed and in awe.

I am so happy that we chose Margaret J Cotton to be our photographer for our wedding. Margaret was truly amazing and captured perfect memories of our special day. Margaret, and her team are wonderful! She made our special day even more special with the care and time she dedicated to us before, during and after our event. She spent plenty of time with us before the wedding to prepare for the day. During our wedding and reception, she or a member of her staff, were always there to capture the perfect moment. However, they were not intrusive in any way. I would recommend her to my closest family and friends and to ANYONE looking for a wonderful experience. On to the results ! Margaret Cotton, her husband, and assistant, were the photographers for my daughter's wedding on August 3. Right after the wedding she posted a video that captured the day in a way that I could not believe. She captured the excitement and energy of everybody that day! Yesterday was their one month anniversary and I still can't stop looking at the pictures and watching the video. The video told the story of the day and the pictures that Margaret chose are incredible. It makes me feel like I am reliving the day. The pictures were posted shortly after the wedding. I can't even imagine how my daughter is going to pick pictures for an album. There are SO many great pictures I wouldn't even know where to begin. My daughter liked Margaret from our very first meeting. She knew she wanted her to be part of her day. Her warm, caring, and enthusiastic personality had my daughter hooked. I can't say enough about her the day of the wedding. She made everyone feel calm and at ease. She was such a professional in the way she managed a big wedding party. Everyone had fun working with her and they never felt that picture taking was a chore. I could go on and on, but I am so glad my daughter hired Margaret Cotton as her photographer!

Margaret was so wonderful! From the first meeting that we had with her we knew she had a creative eye and immeditately knew we wanted to work with her. She really takes the time to get to know you and talk to you about your vison of your day and guides you on what you can expect. We decided to have our engagement shoot with her which was really nice, and I highly recommend, because we felt like we got to know her during that time. She really cares about making sure she gets the right shots so that you will have memories of your special day. She captured every photo that she knew was important to us! She is very professional and serious when its comes to her work and yet at the same time make you feel like she is part of your family. She was so quick in putting up a sneak peak video the next day which was so beautiful that I couldn't wait to share with anyone that was willing to watch! It made us so excited to see the rest of the photos! Margaret Cotton is the most amazing, caring and professional photographers that there is! From the moment we met with Margaret we knew that our pictures were going to be stunning and that she was going to take care of us on the most important day of our lives. We adore The Cotton Family. I met Margaret at a bridal show at The River House in Brielle & it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I knew the moment I met her that my search had ended. She later created the day of our dreams there, a place she & her cameras were quite familiar with. When it comes to wedding photographers, Margaret, along with her husband David, go ABOVE and BEYOND what anyone would expect from a wedding photographer. Of the five other couples I know who also got married this year, none of them received the personalized attention and support that Margaret J. Cotton Photography provided. From our very first meeting, to the engagement session, through the end of our wedding day, Margaret helped us to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident. I knew that I had made the right choice for a photographer when Margaret and David went ABOVE AND BEYOND to arrange the perfect engagement session for us. We spent an evening in Cape May where we first explored the wedding venue and came up with a plan for the big day. We then moved on to take the most memorable pictures at the beach and by the lighthouse at sunset. I am certain that the time that was spent with us during the engagement session resulted directly in the many stunning and perfect pictures that were captured on our wedding day. While we were taking the engagement portraits, Margaret provided many "pointers" for the wedding day photos. Those suggestions, particularly those pertaining to the positioning for the walk down the aisle, made the difference between a nice picture and a PERFECT picture. The absolute best part of the service provided by MJC Photography is the time spent planning how the wedding day would "flow". Margaret worked with me to develop a schedule that included every detail of the day from the time of her arrival until departure. Once she arrived on the big day, I was relieved to know that I could leave everything in her capable hands and not worry about who was supposed to be where and when. It was almost like having a wedding coordinator and photographer in one! The schedule was also extremely helpful to share with the other vendors and it was very much appreciated. The day was flawless thanks to MJC Photography!

Margaret was very open to my and my family's needs on my wedding day. She had my children to contend with as well as parents and siblings and she did a great job. Margaret really pays attention to how people are feeling and was aware when people felt uncomfortable when posing and would try alternatives to allow people to relax. She and her "team" were very unobtrusive. Margaret, herself, is a very kind, giving person who was always willing to listen to my thoughts and wishes.

Margaret was fantastic to work with for our wedding -- she was organized, responsive, thoughtful and professional. In fact, she suggested (and scouted out) our separate venue/location for pre-wedding photos, which was stunningly beautiful.

She provided us with a well thought out timeline for the whole day, and was extremely organized and tactful at shepherding us (and our many family members) through the schedule in a way that felt efficient but also special and momentous. Her warmth and kindness provided a personal touch to the whole wedding photographs experience that my husband and I, and all of our family members, really felt not only celebrated but also enhanced the whole wedding experience. She and her team were there to capture important moments and details, without ever seeming intrusive to the experience or to our guests. Margaret also very helpfully made various little suggestions (e.g. how to hold my arm, how my husband should hug me after our wedding kiss, etc), so as to best create beautiful pictures.

After the wedding, within a matter of a few days Margaret had posted a number of our pictures online and even created a beautiful slide show. We actually had a second wedding (on the west coast), and were able to show the slide show at that wedding so that our west coast guests could see our New Jersey wedding!

Finally, I must mention Margaret's husband David, who is actually a minister who served as our officiant!

Margaret was fun and easy to work with. The communication we shared during the planning process was clear. Her artistry is exceptional.
Our wedding had some glitches (ie the venue burned down 2 weeks prior and threats of thunderstorms) Margaret called us promptly and assured us we would not have to worry about our photography. She went out of her way and offered us other options to make sure we had no anxiety that the photography would be fantastic on our wedding day. For our wedding day we were privileged to have Margaret J Cotton Photography take our pictures and we could not be happier with our decision. The entire staff was very friendly, they take creative pictures and are very attentive throughout the entire day. We felt very comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. The photographers blend in with the crowd and they get all the best shots. Just when the stress of everything starts to come together the week of the wedding I was receiving reassuring emails from Joann and they really helped me put things into perspective. Two days after our wedding we were looking at an album online of almost 300 pictures from our wedding day and also received a slideshow set to music that just had us in tears it was so beautiful. Each day she would put up a new album which was very exciting to us and all of our guests who logged on the site to see them. Our guests and family members were so pleased they could log on and purchase pictures of us and themselves with such ease. We are having a hard time picking out pictures to put in our wedding album because there are so many beautiful shots we would like to include. I can say with complete confidence if you use their services on your wedding day you will not be disappointed.

We got married on October 22, 2011 in Red Bank, NJ. Margaret and her team were fantastic, all the preparations leading up to the wedding day were planned out in every detail so that the day was completely stress-free. The pictures came out natural and beautiful. Margaret and her team got all the amazing shots, but we're never in the way of the ceremony or party -it was the perfect combination. We also did an afterglow session with Margaret which came out amazing!

Margaret J. Cotton photography was amazing. First we had an awesome engagement photo shoot with so many beautiful photos we were hard pressed to find a favorite and then the wedding was even better! As a bride I was nervous that the photography would feel rushed and overwhelming and awkward but it was not. The wedding day photography was one of the most fun and enjoyable parts of the day and definitely the least stressful. Margaret and her crew kept everything flowing smoothly and we got every shot we wanted and more. Margaret was great at spending time with us before the wedding to make sure she knew what we wanted and giving us advice on how to be comfortable with the camera. Margaret J. Cotton was a key figure in helping to make our wedding day all that it could be. Words can't really accurately express the pivitol part she played in helping to make our wedding day just perfect.
The amount of personal attention she gives her clients is truly remarkable. Once you book with her, she is invested in you during the lead up to your big day. Friends of mine were amazed to learn the kind of time Margaret invested with us before the wedding to discuss and see all of the possible photo locations as well as receive her professional "lessons" about how we could help to make our photos look all the more spectacular though our own body language. She discusses timetables with you so that you can envision how the day will fall into place. All of this preparation along with her gentle guidance greatly helped to add to our level of comfort on our day.
Our only problem is that it is now SO hard to choose which photos to order because they are all magnificent. She literally captured everyone at our wedding. Oh...and the pictures were up and ready to see and order in a jiffy. Just another plus.
Margaret and her crew are professional, knowledgable, remarkably personalble, and very talented. First, Margaret did a fabulous job of coaching us for the big day. Our time with her before hand truly helped us be aware of the camera, our body language and our timetable -- all of which helped us get the pictures that we really wanted.

Margaret and her team are a pleasure to work with and extremely hard working. Of course, our schedule got completely thrown off track, but Margaret and her team kept focused and calm (and kept us focused, calm and having fun!). The thirty inches of snow that we had on the ground didn't even manage to throw them off track! The team did not stop snapping the entire night and the hard work continued after the wedding, when we had our website up and running in short order. What fun to look at all of the photos when we were still on our honeymoon!

Most importantly, the pictures were absolutely stunning. Our photographs will be treasured always. They really managed to capture the many emotions of the day in a variety of ways (posed, photojournalistic, classic, modern).

From the minute we met Margaret we knew she was the right person to photograph our special day. She was persoanable and her sample work proved what a talented photographer she was. We were able to meet with her prior to the wedding to guarentee what we were looking to have done on the day of the wedding. Margaret and her staff were prompt and professional throughout the day. They made us feel so comfortable. It was so nice having more than one photographer at the wedding to capture moments from all different angels without disrupting the service. The beach pictures taken were the best!
The hardest part of working with Margaret is trying to narrow down which pictures you finally want to order. They are ALL so wonderful that it makes it difficult to chose. Once again, Margaret is there to assist with her creative mind which makes the whole process so much easier. We can't thank her enough for the wonderful memories she has captured for us. We not only got a fabulous photographer , but a new friend.

From the moment I met Margaret and saw her work; I was immediatly at ease and had no doubt she would deliver the quality work we were looking for. She took so much time prior to our wedding planning out every detail to ensure she delivered to our expectation. We wanted fun, natural, and very candid photos of friends and family along with some more traditional looks. Margaret and her team provided my husband and I and our families with amazing photographs that captured every moment of our day. From getting ready to the cake cutting, every detail was photographed. My husband and I looked through the hundreds of photos and kept saying "Wow! I'm so glad they caught that! I didn't even see it!" I have a very large family and Margaret was sure to catch every group and the candids were some of our favorite. Margaret knew just where to photograph pictures of my husband and I that caught the essence of the season and really captured our happiness that we felt that day. I can't wait to use Margaret for baby pictures one day!

Margaret Cotton is truly passionate about wedding photography and 100% dedicated to her brides.
Picking a great photographer is key to how smoothly your wedding day will run. You can't go wrong with Margaret Cotton. A great value and a truly talented artist. I can't say enough wonderful things about her!
Professional, yet fun and flexible. Easily maneuvers the inevitable obstacles that can sometimes arise on your wedding day. Works well with other vendors. Easy-going but stays on schedule.
She even managed to "save" me from excessively chatty distant relatives during our reception, in order to make sure she got enough shots of me dancing with my friends!
She met with my fiance and I several times in person and spoke with us on the phone repeadedly before the big day to talk about the schedule, locations, and photography in general.
She posted pictures on her website promptly after our wedding and they are wonderful! She exceeded all my expectations and I am overwhelmingly impressed by her work.

Without a doubt - we love Margaret and her crew! From the moment I met her at a bridal show at the Riverhouse, Brielle - I felt as though I needed to work with her. She is very easy to connect with and just simply awesome! It was a pleasure to work with Margaret planning the photography aspect of our wedding day. She took the time and truly treated us like we were her only clients. She gave solid feedback and advice, and really captured the best moments of our day. I can't say enough great things about Margaret J Cotton and her family. She really made me feel comfortable the day of the wedding and had took the time to prepare in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I did not feel like I was just another customer. Margaret goes above and beyond to help her brides and grooms capture the exact essence they are striving for in their photos. She is artistic, creative and extremely flexible. Most importantly, Margaret is a calming presence during an otherwise chaotic day.
Margaret has a large variety in terms of albums and prints. I had a very specific request and although it was outside of the realm of her usual work, Margaret was very willing to meet my request and did a better job than I could ever have imagined.
All in all... I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Margaret did before, during and after my wedding day. It is for this reason that Margaret also did the photo session when my baby was born. I was equally impressed with her portrait photography as I was with her wedding photography. I'm sure she will be capturing many more special occasions for my family.

Margaret J Cotton did my wedding back in August 2008! I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. My photos turned out beautiful. She was fantastically accomodating both in the lead up to our wedding and during it, giving us no additional stress - which helped an awful lot!
At the wedding, she kept everyone relaxed and in good humor throughout, and was patient and highly professional. The photos are absolutely amazing - she caught everyone, really naturally, with minimum fuss and intrusion. The group shots were clear, perfectly orchestrated - the best reminder of our day that we could have wished for.
We were very impressed with her photography and couldn't recommend her highly enough!

There aren't enought words to describe how beyond satisfied we are with Margaret J Cotton Photography. Quality? My photos are amazing, anyone can take a picture, it takes a special person to be a photographer. She was so thorough in making sure she got every shot I would want, she thought of things I hadn't thought of. She clearly brings a lot of experience to the table. Value? I don't think she charges enough. It's obvious this is not a job, it's a passion; and her field is lucky to have her. Flexibility? I was married on a holiday weekend and other vendors asked me to pay extra and made me feel as if I forced them to be away from their families, not MJC. I am a very satisfied customer!!!

MJCotton is fabulous!!! We have the best pictures of our wedding- she was flexible and worked with what we wanted as well as adding her own creative flair to make up perfect pictures of our special day. Love love loved Margaret J Cotton. Her and her family made our wedding pictures the MOST amazing. Far above all of our expectations. I cannot stop looking at the pictures. They were the nicest/easy going people to work with and made everyone comfortable taking the pictures. They made it their mission to find the most fabolous shots and did just that..... hundreds of times. It's so hard to even pick our favorites!! I would recommend Margaret J Cotton to EVERYONE. I have nothing less to say than Joanne and her photographers were amazing. I never doubted their abilities and reliability and everything was beautiful. Taking pictures with them was a delight and only added to our special day.

Margaret was an EXCELLENT addition to our wedding day! Besides dealing with your husband your photographer is who will capture your special day for you. Margaret did a phenomenal job on our wedding photographs. She was so easy to work with and was very personable. I did not feel like I was just another customer, but someone that she deeply cared about and wanted to provide her best service to. She made the whole process from beginning to end very painless, easy, and fun. I really appreciate that she did not set us up in "cheesy" poses but captured the feeling of each moment throughout the day without being in the way at all. It was also nice that there were two others working with her to be able to capture different perspectives and angles. I would recommend her services to anyone without any hesitation.
