Marcus Hook Florist went above and beyond!

My husband and I used Marcus Hook Florist as they have been used for family weddings in the past. They were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful as we picked out the flowers for our wedding. I even had a request in the last month that they were able to accommodate. Really appreciated their dedication to the entire experience - from selection to drop off. They did an incredible job.

Beautiful, full, fragrant wedding flowers

If you want beautiful, full and fragrant wedding flowers at a great price-look no further than Marcus Hook Florist!! Marcus Hook made our vision and budget a priority and ensured we got exactly what we wanted!! From my bridal bouquet, to the entry centerpiece, to the bridesmaid bouquets and the receptions arrangements-everything looked like a dream! They did a great job walking us through the process and worked seamlessly with our venue-it was totally stress free. Thanks again Marcus Hook-nothing but great things to say and I will definitely recommend to all my family and friends!!

Beautiful Arrangements & Easy to work with

Marcus hook makes the whole process easy. They have a bunch of pictures of things they have done in the past so you can actually pick what you want your bouquet, centerpieces, etc to look like. They even brought out flowers & greenery to show us from the back. Our ceremony moved from outside to inside a week before our wedding. Cathy answered all of my questions and even helped me add some faux pieces that looked incredibly real. It was a quick and affordable way for me to add some decor to the inside ceremony without spending a ton more. The day of our flowers were beautiful and stayed that way all day long. I couldn't recommend them any more!

Amazing- thank you for everything!

I cannot recommend Marcus Hook Florist enough! I came into the shop with no ideas or concepts of how I wanted my wedding to look, I didn’t even have bridesmaids dress colors yet. Cathy was wonderful, she walked me through choosing flowers for myself, our bridal party, and even worked with us to design our vision greenery centerpieces. At the last minute we added sweetheart table florals and cake florals, due to a miscommunication between myself and my Mom, and Marcus Hook Florist knocked it out of the park. I cried when I saw our reception room. We received countless compliments on how beautiful everything was and our dream day would not have been possible without Marcus Hook Florist!

Just wow! So beautiful!

Just WOW! I cannot rave enough about the absolutely beautiful flowers that we had for our wedding! The high and low centerpieces were stunning and definitely a show stopper in our reception space! I received so many compliments on the centerpieces that people wanted to take them home! I even received pictures of how well the flowers stayed in tact two, even three, weeks after the wedding! Everything from the centerpieces to the boutonnieres, bouquets and corsages were impeccable! Upon our initial meeting, I was completely overwhelmed by how many choices of flowers there were and provided Pinterest pictures of what I envisioned! Marcus Hook definitely delivered! They helped me pick flowers that were in season during the time of my wedding to make my vision come to life! They were very communicative, responsive and receptive during the wedding planning process and the many times I made changes to the contract! I chose Marcus Hook Florist because my parents had used them in their wedding 32 years ago, and I was, in no way, disappointed with my choice! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Marcus Hook just recently did the flowers for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! The staff was wonderful to work with, so kind and flexible and quick to respond. When we wanted to add flowers similar to our wedding day for our rehearsal dinner the team provided stunning bouquets to complement our wedding. The flowers were so beautiful, we couldn't be happier and our family members each took one home to reminisce after the wedding! We highly recommend Marcus Hook!

Call this place quickly as they book up more than a year in advance! Once we received the bouquets on our wedding day, we understood why. This is the best place for arrangements in the Philadelphia area. During our planning meeting, we showed pictures of what we were thinking and let Marcus Hook Florist take it from there. The bouquets were absolutely STUNNING and we could not be happier with our choice using this vendor.

The flowers were gorgeous!! The service was exceptional and the centerpieces really pulled the room together. A couple days before the wedding a flower I had ordered for my bridesmaid bouquets came in looking less than stellar and they called me right away to let me know and make the necessary adjustments. I honestly would likely have had no idea that flower was different or missing. But they took the time to make sure I was aware and involved in the selection of a replacement.

My husband and I choose Marcus Hook florist to do the floral bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages for our wedding. We could not have been more impressed with their impeccable work. I went into the shop with several photos of bouquets I liked but with no knowledge of flowers or what is available/in season. The floral specialists there allowed to completely customize my bouquet, choosing each and every flower. I knew I wanted my bouquet to be unique and to resemble a bouquet of picked flowers, rather than a more sculpted look. The results were incredible. The bouquets turned out so much more beautiful than I had even imagined. I could not stop looking at my bouquet all night it was so beautiful. In the photos, my bouquets look so perfect with our colors. I would not have changed a single thing. I would highly recommend working with Marcus Hook florist for wedding flowers. They are amazing!

Marcus Hook Florists came highly recommended to me and I saw why. They did the flowers for my 2017 August wedding and wow, they were breathtaking. Cathy was a true pleasure to work with. I had no idea what I wanted and she walked me through the process. They were fresh, full and seemed to get even more beautiful over the course of the day. I cannot rave enough about the exquisite and magnificent bouquets, church floral arrangements, boutonnieres and corsages that the Marcus Hook Florist created for my wedding. I've heard nothing but good things about Marcus Hook Florist from people who have gotten their wedding flowers done there. They went above and beyond and helped me pick out the most beautiful flowers! My bouquet was absolutely beautiful as well as my bridesmaids flowers. the day before the wedding I went in to ask if they would be able to put my grandmother's locket around my bouquet and they were able to do it!

Marcus hook was an amazing florist for our big day! They were helpful throughout the planning process and informative the whole way through! My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were exquisite and I couldn't have asked for anything more! The centerpieces were beautiful and just what we asked for!

All around excellent service and products as well as an amazing price!! I had 23 centerpieces, 10 bridesmaids bouquets, my bridal bouquet, boutineers for 9 groomsmen as well as two fathers, and 2 corsages for the moms! Couldn't beat the price!!

I used Marcus Hook Florist for our wedding day and I could not be more pleased! I have used this florist in the past but they made our wedding flowers gorgeous! The woman we worked with in the shop helped us pick out the best flowers and they looked flawless. On top of the beautiful wedding flowers, we also rented their archway and aisle pillars. They were stunning! Definitely worth the money, and they aren't even that expensive! The deliveries were made to two different locations as requested, which were both on time. The setup and breakdown of the ceremony stuff was quick and easy. I would 100% recommend.

Marcus Hook Florist did my sister-in-law's wedding, so I knew that they would do a beautiful job with ours too, but I was still a little nervous as my husband and I do not know much about flowers and I was a little overwhelmed picking them. They were even more beautiful than I could have imagined and we got so many compliments on them. We showed them a picture of our vision for our centerpieces and what they came out with was even more magnificent than the picture! They were also very reasonably priced and Cathy is so responsive & easy to work with.

This place will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Super gorgeous flowers for a reasonable price! The staff goes above and beyond, starting with our consultation I was impressed. They really seem to care and treat everyone like family. They spent time with me making sure I got what I wanted! We got tall centerpieces and all our bouquets from them. They also provided our cake clusters and were so great with all my personal touches (like wrapping my bouquet with my aunt's lace).

The morning of the wedding we realized we forgot to tell Marcus Hook we needed our flowers sooner than expected and called them an hour before we needed them. They were so accommodating and got us our flowers on time :-)

I used Marcus Hook Flowers for my recent wedding and I could not have been happier! They arrived on time and the delivery guys were all nice and accommodating. I rented an arch for them and they set it up and promptly took it down after the ceremony. The price could not be beat! and Their wedding coordinator is amazing. I even brought in my old communion dress as my "something old" and she was super nice and creative in using it for my bouquet wrap. I would HIGHLY recommend them for ANY occasion!!

Marcus hook is absolutely incredible and I would highly recommend them for any wedding!!! I am SO SO SO happy that I booked Marcus Hook to do the flowers for my wedding. They easily listened to my ideas and were able to make recommendations when I asked for guidance. The consultation was extremely helpful as our florist was very knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed. They delivered the flowers on time and everyone was awed by how gorgeous they were. We had our wedding at a country club in Villanova and wanted a “wild spring mix” look for all the tables. They put together the most GORGOUS center pieces I have ever seen, with both pops of color and accents that complimented the bridal party. My bouquet was breathtaking (all white roses) and I wished I could have saved it forever The bridesmaids bouquets were also the perfect color of coral and looked lovely with a bit of baby’s breath accent (obviously with flowers you never know exactly what shade you will get until the order arrives…after all, you can’t control exact flower color any more than you can control the weather!) We also rented an aisle runner with columns and draping since we were getting married outside, along with two HUGE arrangements on additional pedestals either side of the reverend during the ceremony. Everything was stunning and the pictures of our venue were absolutely amazing thanks to the Marcus Hook flowers. Their shop may not be the fanciest one you visit but they are VERY professional, reliable, friendly and extremely affordable! Thank you so much for making my day beautiful!!

WOW WOW WOW! We used Markus Hook Florist for our wedding on 3/12/16 and they did the most AMAZING job with our flowers. From my huge bouquet of ivory, white and sand colored roses to the centerpieces of white hydrangeas and roses. We also included some high tops that we were able to fit into our budget by letting the florist pick the type of flower(still in our color scheme). We had so many compliments! The flowers arrived on time and from our very first meeting with the vendor, they were kind, welcoming and excited to work with us. They definitely knew what they were talking about and I feel like we got so much for our money. Would highly recommend using them!!

When we went to pick up the flowers for our wedding and found they were not as requested - but they made it right! They reworked the bouquet and boutonnière - and they stunning! That is true customer service. They have earned the reputation for providing quality flowers at a reasonable price for all occasions.

Marcus Hook Flowers provided the flowers for my bridal party, church and reception venue. I worked with Kathy who was so great in the beginning. I truly did not know what I wanted and after showing her some pictures, she put some small sample bouquets together which embodied what I was looking for! All the flowers came out beautifully on our wedding day, they were delivered exactly on time to all locations and they are very reasonably priced. I got so many compliments on the flowers. I would definitely recommend Marcus Hook to a future bride!

I used Marcus Hook Florist for my wedding in the beginning of October and I was over the moon with how beautiful my flowers were! My bouquet, as well as my bridesmaids were amazing in bright fall colors! The flowers were fresh and lasted days after! I asked for mums for my ceremony and they gave me the most bright and vibrant white mums I have ever seen! The woman who work at Marcus Hook were so nice and accommodating! I would use them again!

We booked Marcus Hook Florist after they did my mother's wedding in the 80s and my brother's wedding last year. I was a little nervous because I wanted something a little more alternative and traditional arrangements are their forte. HOWEVER, I had absolutely nothing to worry about, after my consultation with Janine, my worries were put to rest and they delivered incredible bouquets that I received so many compliments on. They threw in an extra boutonniere just to be safe and even used my ribbon that I supplied them. Cannot recommend Marcus Hook more!

Marcus Hook over-delivered for my wedding! We received a lot of recommendations from friends and our venue to use Marcus Hook. We are so glad that we did!

All of our flowers (bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, etc.) came out beautifully. We really liked that the Marcus Hook designer put fresh flowers together during our consultation so that we could see what our flowers would look like the day of. Our other flower consultations were only done through pictures of each type of flower. This really helped us picture what everything would look like. The team was also flexible to our schedule the day of the wedding, allowing for my fiance to pick up flowers the morning of, as well as making 2 deliveries to our hotel and venue.

Not only were our flowers beautiful, but the value that Marcus Hook provides is tremendous. We were so happy with the quote that they gave us as it was considerably lower than other vendors we went to. You can't go wrong with them! We highly recommend them for wedding flowers!

I used Marcus Hook florist based on a reccommendations for my July wedding. Upon my initial meeting, I only had a few thoughts as to what I had in mind. After reviewing details about the wedding and what I was looking for, I was given plenty of ideas to choose from. It was hard to invision what the bouquets were going to look like, but on the wedding day, I was blown away!! My bouquet as well as my bridesmaids were absolutely gorgeous, full of fresh flowers that lasted all day!! I was so surprised as to how many flowers were in each bouquet! The value you get for the price is amazing!! They also created alter pieces, boutineers, as well as corsages for the mothers and grandmothers. They delivered everything the morning of the wedding right on time. I would reccommend Marcus Hook to anyone looking for flowers for a wedding or any other event!! No where else compares in terms of price and value!

Ok I may be a little biased because we have an emotional attachment to this florists as a few family members have worked there but they really do a beautiful job. They traveled a long way to provide my flowers and I could not be happier with what they provided. They are so helpful when you are completely overwhelmed by all the choices and have no idea what to pick. They beautifully incorporated my recently departed grandmothers rosary into my bouquet, it meant so much to me to have it close by.

At the last minute I had to come up with flowers because of an issue previously. I called them the week before the wedding and let them know my issue, two days later I was already in and meeting with the wedding flower coordinator! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole situation so much better! Cathy is wonderful and I can see why everyone recommends using them! I got 2 bridesmaid bouquets, my flowers, 6 boutineers, altar flowers, and several assorted other corsages, along with a toss bouquet. They were delivered to the church and my home so that we had everything ahead of time. They were delivered in glass vases and were beautiful! It's almost three weeks now and my bouquet is still alive! I would absolutely recommend them for any occasion.

On my way out, I saw that they were selling bridal jewelry; I ended up finding a set that matched my dress perfectly! They are a one stop shop :)

Our flowers were even more beautiful than I imagined. I don't know much about flowers (names, varieties, availability, arrangements, etc.) so had a hard time describing exactly what we wanted for our bridesmaids and bridal bouquets. But we looked through photos and gave our best description and they were absolutely PERFECT. We even had a special request to use a flower not carried by Marcus Hook, and Cathy was receptive to having the specially requested flowers delivered directly to her store, so she could then use them for our boutonnieres and bridesmaid bouquets. Not to mention the price was actually a few hundred dollars cheaper than any other florist we looked at. Very highly recommended, will definitely go back in the future.

We had a wonderful experience with Marcus Hook Florist. Cathy was thorough when we met with her for first time and she even showed us live flower samples and bouquets they were preparing for a wedding that day. They delivered them early to the house and drove out of their boundary to deliver to the groom's home. The flowers were beautiful and lasted almost a week! The flowers on my wedding day were GORGEOUS! My bouquet was huge - it was so heavy - filled with roses and they were beautiful. My bridesmaid flowers were perfect, as well as my flower girl bouquets. I expected to spend a fortune for the roses I wanted, especially with a bridal party of 6, and two flower girls, but I was able to get everything I needed for a great price. The delivery was right on time and the driver was very nice. I had to change my order a couple weeks before the wedding and they were so helpful and nice with all the changes. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful addition to my wedding day!

Marcus Hook Florist has been highly recommended to me by many people in the area. I had no idea what I was talking about but Kathy helped me through everything. She took plenty of time with me at our meeting. I called about 2-3 weeks before the wedding to review the color choices and made a few changes after thinking over some options a bit longer.

Any time I called, they had someone get back to me promptly. The cost of flowers might be similar to other florists in the area but the bouquets were SO FULL! A lot of times the bridesmaids bouquets are kind of puny but they were all a considerable size and showed up great in pictures. For a hot summer day, the flowers lasted all day. I cannot say enough good things about Kathy and Marcus Hook Florist!

Our wedding flowers were perfect. Everything was just what I asked for. I had to make a last minute change to the corsages and they were very accommodating. It was no problem and everything was correct the day of our wedding.
We got an additional thing of flowers to attach to the gazebo we were getting married in front of and it was huge. Way bigger than I was picturing - I loved it. They attached it for us too.
The bouquets were huge and full as well. They were all so beautiful, I still can't believe how beautiful my wedding flowers were.

I recently got married on March 22nd and Marcus Hook did the flowers for the church, the bridal party and the center pieces for my reception. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! When we met to pick them out, they made it quick and painless. It can be overwhelming with all of the flower options but I felt like I could trust them to give me good ideas and even pick out the right arraignments that would look good for me! My bouquet turned out stunning and really popped in the pictures. The bridesmaids bouquets had the perfect amount of white with a small pop of color that made them stand out with their purple dresses. The center pieces at the reception were beautiful! I really let them do their own thing for those and they turned out so pretty and classic. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for beautiful flowers for their special day!

The flowers my daughter chose were the flowers delivered! Wow what a great vendor to work with.
When we went for the initial appointment we were not rushed, there was no time limit on us to hurry and get done and they listened to all of her suggestions. I cannot say how helpful they were. I know this is a great florist and told them to be creative with their design. I am so glad I let them do their job! The delivery went flawless to our home and the ballroom. No problems at all. At lease check them out before you pick another florist.

Marcus Hook Florists exceeded my expectations. I absolutely LOVED my wedding bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were equally as beautiful. When I changed my mind about doing my own centerpieces the week before my wedding, Marcus Hook pulled through and made 21 BEAUTIFUL centerpieces in addition to an AWESOME display for my card table.

Without reservation, I will recommend Marcus Hook Florists to EVERY SINGLE BRIDE I talk to who is looking for a florist. Awesome.

Marcus Hook was amazing! We worked with Kathy she was so sweet and really knew her stuff! The prices are far lower than any other florist around without comprising quality ( and I have expensive taste!) I was able to get everything I imagined and came in under budget. Would recommend to any bride!

The flowers for our wedding were absolutely stunning!! I got tears in my eyes when I saw my bouquet. The colors matched the bridesmaid dresses perfectly and the flowers were gorgeous! Marcus Hook was easy to work with and very patient with us, as we asked a lot of questions and changed a few things around during the process. The prices are extremely reasonable. I showed them pictures of what I was looking for and the bridal/bridesmaid bouquets turned out exactly how I envisioned them, Flowers were delivered on time to my house and the church so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We received many compliments on the flowers and our reception centerpieces were also so beautiful! I would highly recommend!

The flowers for our daughter's wedding were gorgeous and they couldn't have been nicer to her. Price and quality were unbelievable. Would definitely recommend Marcus Hook Florists for everyone!

All friends we know went to Marcus Hook Florist for their wedding and we are so glad we did too - fabulous service, selection, great prices, attention to detail and making the bride feel special - never rushed - always ready to answer questions and be sure she was happy - all flowers for attendants, family, church, reception - were perfection!! We were even given samples of different roses and shades of pink to see which she liked the best! We have sent many brides-to-be there to get the same great flowers we did!! This review is from the Mom of the Bride and this is the place to go for you wedding -- trust me!!

Our wedding flowers from Marcus Hook Florist were beautiful! Each bouquet was exactly what we wanted! The flowers were delivered on time and the staff was very friendly! I would highly recommend Marcus Hook Florist!

Gorgeous flowers and an incredible price! I still can not believe how little I paid for all of my flowers and I had a ton! Everything I asked for was beautiful and they didn't skimp on anything. I worked with Cathy and she was nice, patient and has wonderful ideas. Don't be fooled by the actual shop, it may not look like much but they do a wonderful job. Not only for my wedding but I have been in another wedding they did and their work is breath taking.

Marcus Hook Florist provided me with beautiful flowers for my wedding day. They delivered them to my mom's house the morning of our wedding right on time and I was shocked at how amazing they had turned out. They sat down with us on the first day and went over all of the different possibilities; they were very patient with me (I ask a lot of questions). Not only were my wedding flowers beautiful, but I did not have to break the bank!

Marcus Hook flowers is the best! The people there are so helpful and friendly and they did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding bouquet as well as my bridesmaids bouquets. They were stunning and exactly how I pictured them! You won't regret going here!!

Marcus Hook Florists did an AMAZING job for my wedding. I went in with my family and discussed the colors of my wedding and what look I was envisioning- mind you- I know absolutely nothing about flowers. They showed me samples and colors of what they would recommend. I was slightly nervous since I couldn't see a finished product of what my bouquet might resemble or what the bridesmaids bouquets would resemble.

All the flowers turned out gorgeous. They did such a fantastic job of assembling them.

On top of it- the prices were beyond great. For under $700 we got 6 Bridesmaids Bouquets, my Bridal Bouquet, a throw bouquet, and 8 boutonnieres for the grooms side. My bouquet was a gorgeous combination of mainly light pink roses & white roses, and a few other flowers thrown in there (like i said, i know nothing about flowers). Several other local florists were quoting me over $200 for my Bouquet alone.

Overall- top quality product for a very reasonable price- which is tough to come by for flowers!!!

We used Marcus Hook florist for our wedding in June. They were on time and ready to go and the flowers looked incredible! I worked with Andrea an she met with me a few times to go through my choices. She was very personable and I truly enjoyed working with her and would recommend her and the shop to all brides. They really made it a fun experience and showed me all types of flowers and options and truly took their time. I loved them!!!!

Marcus Hook Florists provided us with beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements for the ceremony site. They were beautiful and everything I imagined. I gave them a list of the flowers I wanted and made the perfect bouquets. They were also very reasonable in price. I would recommend them to anyone. They were very accommodating, easy to get a hold of, and did beautiful work.

Marcus Hook deserves "10" on all the ratings above. I use them for all my floral needs and certainly was not disappointed for bridal flowers. The sixth rating should be freshness of flowers - the best!
