Marcia went above and beyond to bring our floral vision to life! We were in awe at the stunning arrangements she created for our ceremony and reception. She even helped us design floral accents for a couple of items that we DIYed. She was so incredible to work with. We are forever grateful that she shared her talent with us for our wedding day! -

When we hired Marcia to do our flowers we knew it was going to be a fun journey. Marcia and I had a great time discussing ideas and sharing many, many photos. Her process was clear cut, her prices were very fair, and she was always responsive. When she arrived with the flowers on our actual wedding day my jaw dropped, they were STUNNING! My mother's jaw dropped as well, and that's saying something since she is a Certified Master Gardener! They were so much more than any Pinterest photo we had shared. I never could have described or dreamed of the arrangements she made for all the bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. Our Arbor arrangement was magical and cascaded just like we had discussed. Not to mention her assistant helped our family move a stuck tractor out of our yard (thank you, Bob!). I would urge folks to hire Marcia as their florist if getting married in New England. She's fun, exciting to work with, clearly has a phenomenal eye for flowers, and is extremely helpful and will make your special day even more special. -

We hired Marcia Davis to do our flowers for our wedding in York, Maine. I can't even put into words how beautiful the flowers were. My bouquet was STUNNING!! The colors she chose were just incredible and all of the flowers were locally grown. We got so many compliments on how gorgeous the flowers were - centerpieces, bouquets, ceremony site floral arrangements. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. Very reasonably priced as well! -

There was some confusion on my wedding day regarding pick up of the flowers, but probably my fault as I didn't think to communicate that I wanted them delivered to the hotel. My bridesmaid called Maria though and she dropped them off at the hotel without any problems. Good pricing. Would recommend to everyone who wants gorgeous flowers with practical pricing. -

Abigail Sent on 06/24/2010Marcia was a dream to work with and I would recommend her to everyone! She came to the rescue when just a few months before my wedding my original florist and I parted ways. With just a small amount of guidance, Marcia was able to create bouquets that I absolutely loved at a great price. I told her what colors I liked and a couple of flowers that I wanted and she did the rest. The flowers were truly stunning and were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Marcia was a true professional from beginning to end. She was there on time the day of the wedding and stayed to make sure that everything was placed where it needed to be and that everything looked beautiful. -

Such incredible value using Marcia Davis for your florist at BPI. Because she provides the flowers for the Inn, she will match that week's florals with your wedding florals. HUGE arrangements were scattered throughout my reception that I got free of charge. The wedding arch and bouquets were gorgeous and priced very fairly. Marcia was ok with my mom and I making frequent changes. Highly recommend! -

Disappointed every time I see my wedding flowers
I wanted to love my experience with Marcia for my wedding. I chose her because she was the resident florist for my venue. But I wish I had gone in a different direction. I remember early on when I had a request for a specific flower for my bouquet and she told me it would be impossible because they weren't in season. I am totally reasonable and understand that, but I remember thinking it was odd because she never suggested an alternative to get the same look, or what it would cost to ship the flower in, etc. I let it go, but I think it should have been my first sign. Throughout the design process, I was always the one having to reach out and check in. I felt she wasn't really understanding what I was going for. It was even more evident on the wedding day when my flowers looked different from my inspiration photos. See below. There were hints of colors I hadn't asked for (like peach?) and the moody fall pallet I was going for wasn't present. I had asked for whites, soft pink hues, antique greens, with burgundy and deep tones. The floral ended up bright. There were hot pink calla Lillys and lime green hydrangea. If you didn't know better, you would have thought it was summer. I also realized I should have asked for more greenery to get the look I was going for, but I didn't realize that at the time. I am no expert, and I wished she would have guided me. I hated my bouquet, which was supposed to be a base of hydrangea with pops of the other floral and color. There was not a single hydrangea in there. This is a total assumption, but it is something I wanted to mention... the next day I saw on social she did another wedding and the floral was extremely similar. It made me wonder if she just ordered in bulk for both weddings and didn't listen to what I wanted. I didn't say anything on the wedding day, I was trying to enjoy it and make the most of it. Eventually, she did refund me a small amount, but it didn't matter. Every time I see my flowers I am upset. They didn't reflect me or my wedding or vision. I wish I had gone with one of the florists I had originally reached out to who did a huge virtual presentation for me. -
