  Marcelo is fantastic!

  We loved working with Marcelo; from the moment he touched base with us he was responsive and professional. He sent us lots of information upfront, allowed us to get to know him thru the links he sent us and past weddings he had officiated. He got to know our family and what we hoped for in the ceremony (how to include our children as a blended family). I was so impressed; both my husband and I highly recommend Marcelo for your special day. He did such a great job and had a beautiful, warm personality. All paperwork was done and sent as promised. Highly recommend.

  Great Bilingual Officiant

  Marcelo was great. Very prompt in responding and accommodating to our last minute request. We decided to elope 4 months before our trip to Costa Rica & Marcelo helped us find a photographer & made everything seamless!

  Professional and timely

  Marcielo was fantastic to work with from start to finish. The first time we met him was over FaceTime (we live in the US) and he made us feel so much more comfortable with our ceremony from the moment we met him. After our FaceTime he provided us with his standard ceremony template and we were able to make any edits we wanted to personalize it to us. We were a little bit nervous about this because we did not have a ceremony rehearsal with him. So the first time this ceremony was read was quite literally in the moment of the wedding. It went off flawlessly. He made us feel so comfortable at the alter. The ceremony last for approximately 15 minutes and it was beautiful. We received so many compliments on our ceremony. When we reflect back on our day, he was one of the major highlights of our day. We would recommend Marcielo to anyone looking to have their wedding in Costa Rica.

  Wonderful Ceremony

  You can tell Marcelo has been doing this for a while because everything is completely flawless. From initial contact, to going through vows, through to completion, he has planned for everything. Marcelo is very friendly, professional, and super easy to talk to. He made our day absolutely perfect and we can't thank him enough for his help.

  Marcelo handled everything, and we could not have been more happy with his service. Months beforehand he took the initiative and asked us for our and our witness' information (required for the license) as well as graciously incorporated our input into the ceremony. Day of he kept things light which really helped our nerves and ran a stellar ceremony, you could tell he's a professional who has done this before. Afterwards, he got us our certificate on time and answered all of our questions. We were happy he was part of our special day. Thank you Marcelo!

  Simply wonderful and professional

  Marcelo was amazing! So awesome to work with any just great energy. We loved how easy going he was and responsive. It’s hard to plan a destination wedding in a place you have never been or with a person you never met, but he made it a breeze! He was willing to work with us and his English is perfect. 10/10 would recommend this guy and his services!

  Marcelo is a professional and my husband and I highly recommend him

  Marcelo was an amazing officiant for our beach wedding! He not only was professional he was very responsive throughout the process and was in contact early to make sure our vows fit our family and us. He helped craft vows especially for our blended family and even included a family vow and blessing for my 13 year old daughter. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful and if you choose to hire Marcelo you can rest assured you are choosing a professional with plenty of experience. I could not have been happier and my husband and I highly recommend him! I am still smiling from ear to ear just thinking about our amazing day!

  Wonderful and carrying officiant.

  We truly enjoyed having Marcelo officiate our wedding. Marcelo had a wonderful transcript, which was very touching. We liked it so much that we made no changes, but Marcelo was open and very flexible if we wanted to make changes. Marcelo's English is perfect and he has a voice that projects for all guests to hear. Marcelo was amazing to work with and we highly recommend him.

  We got married in February 2020, and we look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories. Marcelo played a crucial part in our wedding ceremony. He helped us make our day not only memorable, but unforgettable.
  
  Our communication with Marcelo prior to the wedding was brilliant and completely stress free. He always took the time to answer all of our questions and explain everything thoroughly to us as we did have many questions during this process.
  
  During the ceremony, we appreciated how Marcelo kept things so light and funny, yet serious when needed. He had listened to exactly what we wanted and provided it. Marcelo's energy made us feel comfortable and kept our guests engaged. Afterwards, we had several guest compliment us on how much fun he made our ceremony.
  
  In short, we could not have asked for a better officiant for our special day and would highly recommend Marcelo to anyone. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Marcelo, get ready because whenever we renew our vows in the future, you will be there! ;-)

  Professional, Personable, Highly Recommended

  Marcelo is not only a great professional, but a very likeable person, who did a wonderful job with our ceremony. He was very helpful with finding us the perfect venue for us. The marriage is LEGAL, and all the paperwork came as promised, and was easy to record in the United States. We highly recommend his service.

  Pura Vida Wedding

  Marcello was great! Since I'm not from CR, we exchanged emails to reach the best ceremony speech that incorporated God and other points about us that we wanted to touch on. Marcello was always kind and fast to respond. He delivered an amazing ceremony: fun, easy, beautiful and memorable!!!

  A+ Service and Communication

  Marcelo is a kind, helpful human! We were in communication with him for about a month, trying to fit in an elopement with our NYE weekend in Costa Rica. We ended up changing plans when we got there (busy busy time for all of Costa Rica during the holidays) and I was most disappointed about not being able to meet him in person. Even though we never officially utilized his services, I would strongly recommend him - that's how responsive and helpful he was. We exchanged so many emails up until the day we got there and he was always sweet and considerate. Don't second guess if you are considering. If we ever go back and decide on a re-commitment or something similar, I'm reading back out to Marcelo.

  Perfect day!

  I never knew getting married could be so easy and stress free. I love how we could have our ceremony in English and Spanish so we both could understand all of it. It really made the whole thing special for us.

  All communication with Marcelo was quick and easy, there was no deposit needed and he was punctual and very sweet! Our ceremony was quick and beautiful, and Marcelo went above and beyond to give us tips on how to make it all a great experience! I couldn’t have asked for a better officiant!

  Highly Recommend!

  Marcelo was great, very helpful and was able to get all of our documents back to us in Canada very quickly! I have had no issues with changing my name with the marriage certificate at all!

  Wonderful man , he made everything so easy to plan , we are from Ontario and got married in Hermosa Palms Costa Rica , sunset on the beach , absolutely beautiful setting !. Marcelo made the planning and legal aspects so easy for us , we had absolutely no worries . The ceremony was beautiful, everything we wanted and more . I highly recommend Marcelo, I just can’t put into words how wonderful he is

  Marcelo was great to work with. He streamlined the wedding process and made it very easy and stress free. His words were beautiful and helped make our wedding day magical. I would recommend using him as your officiant if you are considering doing so.

From early on, Marcelo was quick and efficient in gathering any necessary personal information from us. We loved that he shared a draft of the ceremony speech with us ahead of time - and he took any suggestions or additions that we wanted made to the speech! Marcelo had a calming presence during the ceremony that helped us both to relax and be present in the moment! Thanks Marcelo!

  What a perfect intimate wedding we had thanks to Marcelo Galli! He was so professional and easy going throughout the whole process. Prior to our wedding day he quickly responded to all my questions and or concerns. He had answers for everything even when we had to move the wedding to another location at the last minute! We could not have asked for an easier or more beautiful wedding! We were so blessed to have him for our special day and we can't thank him enough for everything he did for us. I will always recommend him to family and friends!
