We couldn’t have imagined a more amazing experience than the one we had at Manayunk Brewing Company for our wedding just recently on 10/17/25! From start to finish, everything was beyond our expectations. The venue itself is stunning, modern yet cozy, with a flexible space that fit our vision perfectly. Our guests commented on how comfortable and beautiful the setting was. The food was absolutely delicious, every course was spot on, from the appetizers to the main dishes. They also accommodated any allergies perfectly.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Deyna, the venue coordinator. She was the heart and soul of our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, she kept everything organized, on track, and stress-free. Her attention to detail, quick communication, and calm professionalism made planning so easy, and on the night of the wedding, she was everywhere at once, making sure everything ran seamlessly. Honestly, the venue would be lost without her!
Would highly recommend Manayunk Brewing Co to anyone planning their wedding! -

Shane and I had our wedding this past weekend at the brewery and hands down, from booking to celebration, was the best experience. Deyna runs an amazing team and ensured that our celebration was flawless and stress free. Our guests couldn’t believe how friendly the staff was. The food was 12/10 and tasted even better on the day of the wedding than at the tasting. The brewery provided vendor lists which we used and had the absolute best experience using their recommendations. The venue was so flexible when it came to all details allowing customizable event. Communication, organization and great customer service. -

My husband and I got married at Manayunk Brewing Company on 6/14/25 and loved it! They have an amazing team that made the day superb! The communication from the day we booked until the wedding day was clear and each response was punctual. They were clear in all of their pricing and it was easy to book what we wanted throughout the entire process. Deyna especially went above and beyond for us multiple times during planning and on the wedding day itself!
On the day of the wedding, the food was all delicious. It was hard to decide which Hors D'oeuvres to select because there were so many great options to choose from (there are also plenty of vegetarian options). Our guests really raved about the food! We also had an open bar and there was very little wait time on getting a drink. We booked the outside deck which was a nice place to cool off from dancing or go get a drink from the second bar. We also brought games outside for people who didn’t want to dance all night.
We used the bridal suite on site and it was very helpful. It came with food, prosecco, and a personal server. The girls and I had a great time! Getting ready at the venue made the timeline much more relaxed for the day and we weren’t cramped in a hotel room for the morning.
Parking in the area can be a little difficult but there are options. You can try for free street parking or one of the two lots next to the building. We used a shuttle for guests that stayed at our hotel block and had absolutely no issues.
If you are going to be getting pictures in the area, you may need to be creative. We used the railroad tracks that run next to the canal. Otherwise you may need to go elsewhere depending on your vision. I love how our pictures turned out for our first look but it was a bit stressful ahead of time to find somewhere that fit our vision.
Overall we HIGHLY recommend Manayunk Brewing Company and their team! -

We initially reached out to Manayunk Brewing Company because a friend recommended it to us. We were unsure since it was such an unconventional venue, but after we met Deyna and she took us around on tour, we were pretty sold, especially seeing the pretty deck outside overlooking the Schuylkill River. We did a few more venue tours afterwards to be sure, but decided to move forward with Manayunk. The entire process was pretty seamless. I was really nervous about planning the wedding, as I'm not administratively strong, but Deyna assured us, we would be okay, and indeed we were. She gave us a breakdown of costs, timeline for logistics, and really, a boost of confidence that I needed to know I was in good hands. She worked really well with our vendors, and our planner, and honestly, rooted so much for us as a couple. We could tell she really loves love and genuinely enjoys what she does. Our tasting with Chef was so memorable too- we had a blast figuring out the hors d'Oeuvres and main meal. Our guests really loved the food the day of, but most of all, we loved it. The day couldn't have gone any better. People told me to brace myself for something to go wrong, and I'm sure it did behind the scenes, but I was blissfully unaware as I had an amazing team troubleshooting and taking care of the issues. I really just got to enjoy the day. It truly was a day to remember and wouldn't have done it any other way. I 1000% recommend this venue to all my future brides-to-be! -

Our wedding at Manayunk Brewing Company was beyond our wildest dreams. Deyna helped us plan our wedding in 8 months, and every detail was absolutely perfect! You would have thought we had been planning the wedding for years! Deyna is such an incredible coordinator handling every single detail along the way. She coordinated with all the vendors, handled our DJ canceling at the last minute, and catered to all of our special requests with ease. The wait staff is absolutely amazing and attentive, making the best night of our lives spectacular! Weeks later, and we are still receiving raving reviews from guests about the food, the drinks, the remarkable staff, and the attention to detail that went into every aspect of our night. We had the best time of our lives, and we can't thank Deyna and the staff enough. Not only did they make sure every single person was attended to the whole night, but our guests all rave that it was the best wedding they've ever been to! We highly recommend Manayunk Brewing Company to help make all your dreams come true. -

We had our wedding here on 05/25/2024. This was the first Venue we saw in person and we fell in love right away. The venue space is so well set up. Working with Deyna was so easy and she made the whole process stress free. She worked with us to make sure everything was perfect and was always there to answer any questions or concerns we had. Our wedding day was amazing from start to finish. All of our guests loved the food and drinks. We got so many compliment's. So glad we made the decision to celebrate our special day here.

I wish there were enough words to describe our fantastic experience working with Deyna and Paris to plan our wedding at Manayunk Brewing Company this past May 4th. From the moment we stepped foot inside for our tour we knew it was the right place for us. Throughout the nearly two years from our booking to the actual day, Deyna was the most professional, responsive, hilarious person we ever could've asked for to be our main point person. We had rain the day of our wedding, and Deyna handled every aspect of the turn around quickly and amazingly and made sure everything ran smoothly from the start of setup until the end of our after party! I threw about a million questions at both her and Paris, and they helped us walked through each answer together. I am so grateful to call Deyna a personal friend now, thanks to our (amazing) choice to get married at MBC. Our wedding was 3 months ago and we still keep in contact with Deyna, having made a true friend. I wouldn't trust anyone else! -

Love love love!
I got married in June and when I was looking at venues and came across this one I knew it was meant for us. Deyna was absolutely amazing. She was my person from the moment I saw her. The venue had the most reasonable deposit and so much space. But more importantly Deyna made my experience the best! Every call felt like I was face timing my best friend. And anything I ever needed or wanted she was there to help me. The girl helped me use the bathroom on my wedding day she is god sent. I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator. Absolutely loved her times a million. Our guest still talk about the food and how unique the venue was 10/10 recommend! -

We knew that MBC would deliver on being a great venue from the start. The layout of privacy while still having easy access to tiger things was great for our guests, and our food and signature cocktails were awesome. Especially after meeting Deyna, the whole wedding came together. She is so sweet and responsive, and gave her honest opinion while helping us plan. She talked me through tons of decisions and was around all night if we needed her during the reception. Deyna easily saw my vision for the wedding and ran with it, we couldn’t be happier with how our night went!! Thank you Deyna and MBC 🤍🤍 -

We are still floating on a high from our reception here on 9/22/23. The entire planning process from touring the venue in September of 2022 to the day of the wedding was honestly a breeze because of Deyna. She was amazing to work with, meeting with us in the brewery at different points to check in, assuaging out anxiety, and remaining basically always reachable. The wedding went so smoothly, with so many moving parts it was incredible that nothing went wrong! The food was DELICIOUS and the entire staff was incredibly attentive and professional with our guests. The venue itself is much larger than it seems in photos and was more than enough room than we needed for our 105ish guests especially with the awesome outdoor deck. -

If you are considering this venue as one of your options, make it your absolute decision to book your wedding! If you have never been here or heard of this place - go there! The restaurant is awesome and has great vibes. The wedding space is upstairs and just so incredibly cool! Paris and Deyna - you cannot go wrong. We bugged them with crazy questions and they were not only patient and kind - they were SO supportive and helpful. We ended up booking out photographer based off of their recommendation - and are NOT SORRY.
The day of our wedding - we had a Steampunk theme - the entire staff was on point - everyone was friendly and helpful - as the bride, I had NO STRESS! Paris and Deyna kept everyone on task and organized, we were all laughing and having a great time ALL DAY.
The space was killer for our theme and we had a LOT of DIY to go with it, everyone pitched in to help us set up. The wait staff and bartenders, AMAZING!
Also, I think it's important to add that you will NEVER find better wedding food than here. The Filet Mignon was to DIE for, oh and the Mushroom Cannellini - OMG --> Chef is the best. He completely went out of his way to ensure that one of our guests (a child with PKU) who cannot eat protein was accommodated. This child has never been able to eat at a restaurant before, but Chef made sure to get an approved list from his mom and he was actually able to eat an entire meal out with all of us.

I got married here in July 2022 and I cannot recommend a better place to get married. I had both my wedding and welcome get together here and I HIGHLY recommend this location for both. You will not regret it. We were originally planning to get married in June of 2020 but had to postpone twice due to covid and the venue was so understanding and helpful. They helped make a stressful situation so easy.
-Staff- The event coordinator, PARIS, IS THE BEST. She is very knowledgeable, responsive, kind, and helpful. She was very organized during the planning process and the day of. The staff at the venue was wonderful- they were so kind and engaging with my young niece and nephews. They were very responsive, fun, and professional.
-The venue: We got married upstairs. It was so beautiful- rustic, classic, modern..but not stuffy...very warm and inviting. It's open and high ceilings and can be decorated in any style. The location is very convenient and there are many hotels within a short drive. There's also a parking lot and lots of bars/restaurants to go to before/after the wedding. The bridal suite is GORGEOUS and very convenient. We had planned to use the outside upstairs deck, but unfortunately the weather did not allow that. But there is a deck upstairs that has really pretty views and an extra bar. All of our guests commented on how beautiful, comfortable, and accessible the venue was. We had the welcome party the night before our wedding in the jazz room on the first floor. It was inviting and comfortable and had access to the outdoor patio which has really pretty views.
The food/drinks: SO GOOD. The options are vast and able to accommodate multiple diets. We had guests that were vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian- all were very happy with their meals! During the welcome dinner we had the taco bar and guests raved that the food was delicious. The beer selection is great, wine was very good, and mixed drinks were made well. The food options for the wedding- wow there's a lot of options! We especially enjoyed the chicken and waffles appetizer, pan seared scallop, and Crispy Pork Belly and Brussels Sprout Leaves. We ordered the filet, chicken picatta, butternut squash, and roasted cauliflower steaks for dinner options- all were very good. Over 60% of people ordered the filet and loved it.
Overall Experience- My wedding was perfect. There was nothing I would change. I started planning this wedding when I lived on the east coast and moved to California and continued to plan this wedding from across the country. The venue provided referrals for vendors, as well as being open to other vendors, and all the vendors they have relationships with that we utilized (hotels, transportation, parking, wedding planners- LISA IS THE BEST) were fantastic.
Photos: I highly recommend La Bella Vita Event Company for your photos. They also were my event planner and assisted with photography- which as beautiful..and venue had stunning background for photos. The canal path was so pretty and a short walk from the venue.
Basically- get married here. host your event here. it's the best. -

Paris and her team have gone above and beyond through the entire wedding planning process. Even down to paying the bill was extremely straightforward and it was always easy to talk to Paris and Dana, always communicative and they replied to emails asap. Our tasting was the first "taste" we had of the team, and it made us even more excited about choosing Manayunk. Planning a wedding is nerve-racking, and Paris's team have the expertise to help you relax and know they've got it under control. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and the team worked with us to remain calm and stress-free. If we got married again, I would pick this venue over and over. On the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing.
Not only was the venue stunning, all of our guests were saying "I've been to beautiful weddings before, but nothing like this. This is the most unique and stunning venue I've been at."
We had 88 guests in total and I thought the space was the perfect size for it, just enough to fill out the tables but spacious enough for a dance floor and moving around. The bartenders were super nice, as well, always getting me (the bride) a drink every time I walked by. The chef is very talented, pushing the boundaries of the typical wedding food choices. Our guests kept talking about the chicken even after the wedding!
Even down to decorating, I came super prepared and they were surprised on how prepared we were. They worked with our decor and offered advice on how to make it look even more stunning, adding fake candles and their own decorations. I thought that was a fantastic touch, as I was prepared to do it all and they said "nope, we got this."
I can't say enough positive things about this venue and the team. If you want an industrial, shimmering, charismatic, unique venue, don't hesitate to book this. My ONLY complaint would be it was hard to find spaces in and out of the venue to get professional photos done, but that's the struggle of picking a venue within a city. Thanks Manayunk! -

I honestly cannot rave enough about the experience my husband and I had hosting our reception at the Manayunk Brewing Company. Right off the bat, the coordinator Paris is amazing! We were excited about the space and menu going into our first tour, but upon meeting Paris, we were truly sold on having our reception here. She immediately made us feel like we were in good hands. We booked nearly 20 months ahead of our date and during all of that time, Paris was always available to answer our questions, no matter how big or small they were. We truly felt supported by Paris throughout the entire planning process.
When we had our tasting, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the menu items we tried. We've been to a lot of other weddings where the couple raved about the food at their tasting, and the food was your run-of-the-mill wedding food. That simply was not the case with the Manayunk Brewing Company. Our food was just as good, if not better, during our reception as it was at our tasting. And the service was impeccable. Multiple servers stopped my husband and me during cocktail hour to ask if we wanted a platter of the passed hors d'oeuvre made up for us and within minutes, that platter was brought over to us. And, during dinner service, servers surrounded our guest tables and served each guest's meal at the same time so no one at the table was left waiting. Our guests have continued to tell us how good the food was and that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The bar staff was amazing, keeping the drinks flowing for our guests. And the attendant who assisted us with cutting our cake also personally took it upon himself to have our small cake to make sure our parents also got a slice.
My husband and I truly could not be happier with choosing to host our reception at the Manayunk Brewing Company. The space was beautiful and modern, and the service was even better than we could have expected. 10/10 would do it all over again here if we could! -

I truly can't recommend Manayunk Brewery enough. It was everything we had hoped for and soooo much more. Paris is an absolute dream to work with and always had great ideas and suggestions for what we could do. Our guests are still raving about the food, the bar and everything honestly. So many compliments on how pretty the venue is...and the outdoor space was amazing.
The team there is super attentive and very friendly. The venue is pretty on it's own and doesn't require a ton of decor, which was a huge weight off our shoulders.
The bridal suite is absolutely beautiful and I'm glad we opted to use it to get ready and to give us a place to relax ahead of the ceremony.
You can't go wrong with this venue! Everything was just a dream come true. Thank you Paris and team for everything you did to make sure our day went off without a hitch. It was just perfect. -

MBC exceeded all our expectations for our wedding venue and catering. We are one of the many couples that were impacted by COVID during wedding planning, and MBC and their event coordinator Paris were as professional, warm and accommodating as they could be during a very stressful time for many of their couples. When we had to postpone our original wedding date in 2021, Paris was so accommodating in offering us any of the remaining 2021/2022 dates they had available and made the process as simple as naming a date with no issues. Our original deposit was applied to our new date. When MBC suffered from a catastrophic flood in August 2021, they were super communicative about venue expectations and their plans/timeline for the future. Paris offered recommendations for our vendors whom she has worked with and trusted, although we ultimately opted for some new vendors :) We had separately hired a wedding planner to assist us throughout the planning process (Andi at Musa Weddings), but even if you do not have a planner, Paris is exceptionally knowledgeable (i.e.expert) at wedding planning and can help you throughout the planning process at MBC. She also offered wonderful recommendations during our tasting for ways to accommodate dietary restrictions, fan favorites on the menu, how to have a diversified menu, and ways to 'zhuzh' up the space if you needed inspiration.
When we first visited MBC we immediately fell in love with the space. It is intimate but large enough to accommodate up to 200 people, but intimate enough that our final guest list of 80 felt full in the space. It is a simple canvas so you can bring any vision to life in the space. They also have a private upstairs patio space if you want to have your ceremony or cocktail hour oustide. We opted to do all inside (due to weather) and the space being so welcoming. MBC also has a private, separate space for couples and their families which we used as a holding space during the photos (there is an amazing trail right behind the restaurant which is GORGEOUS for photos) and they provided snacks and drinks. We also used this space to sign our Ketubah for some privacy with our family only, and after our ceremony, we were able to enjoy a few private moments together to decompress. MBC also brought us our own drinks of choice and a sampling of the cocktail hour snacks so we could enjoy our first minutes of marriage!
When we were researching a venue and caterer for our wedding, our number one priority was good food. MBC delivers. At our tasting it was hard to pick only a few items - they were all so delicious! The chef introduced himself as well and was very open to any needs or preferences. We received (and have continued to receive) endless compliments on the food...so much so that no one was eating the dessert we brought in! They just wanted more mini chicken and waffles :)
MBC was not only exceptional, but well within our budget. So much so, that were were able to upgrade our bar menu to top shelf and our guests noticed :)
I cannot recommend MBC enough. The staff was professional, the service leading up to and on the day of the wedding was phenomenal; I felt in very good hands with Paris and her staff. They were knowledgeable, calm, collected, and FUN. My groom and I always had a drink in our hands or a snack on our plate thanks to the staff. There are hundreds of amazing reviews on MBC on this site, and they are all true. I only wish I could do it all over again :) and eat another bite of the pork belly or ahi tuna!!

Our wedding day was the most perfect day ever thanks to Manayunk Brewing Company!! Paris was AMAZING and so easy to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. (Even through all of the Covid stress and massive flooding that happened in September) Her and the rest of the staff seriously went above and beyond to make our wedding the most amazing day of our lives, and we really can’t thank them enough!
The space is absolutely beautiful and the food and service were amazing! We still have guest talking about how perfect everything was!
Thank you so much to Paris and the rest of Manayunk Brewing Company for everything you guys did to make sure everything was perfect! You guys rock!!! -

After postponing our wedding (you know, the pandemic) we finally had it! Paris was so helpful and honest when we first met through all the details leading up to our wedding day. I had a ton of last minute questions that she quickly answered. Deyna ended up being our day of coordinator last minute and it was a seamless transition. Her and the staff were on top of everything from the start of the night - plus they were so great to be around all night. -

I have to give Manayunk Brewery, Paris and her team a 100/100, despite us having to change plans due to the pandemic and restrictions! From the moment that we scheduled a viewing to booking to the tasting, everything was fantastic. Paris is a wedding planning goddess with incredible expertise, enthusiasm, patience and skill. She offered so much support during planning, and then when we had to postpone from 2020 to 2021, and then again when my partner and I made the difficult decision to change venues because of restrictions.
Any couple or family looking for a celebration is in safe hands with Paris and her team. She is honest, trustworthy and just wants you to have a great celebration. I look forward to being able to host something in the future at Manayunk, it's one of the best places in the Philly area to have an event. -

Manayunk brewing has so much charm and a touch of edgy from the bar area through out the dining hall onto the deck on the river. This place was perfect for my fiancée and I but sadly with Philadelphia's covid restrictions, we had to reschedule. Paris, the event coordinator was amazing from start to finish with communication and planning the wedding. I hope I get to throw a party one day post covid! -

Paris at Manayunk Brewing Company went above and beyond ... beyond, beyond! For real. We were up against the pandemic and a hurricane the week before the election. You might say we were stressed. Paris took charge and made sure we had the absolute best day ever despite my anxiety. She is an actual Angel. AN ANGEL. We couldn’t have done it all without her. We had to improvise, but we had our small intimate ceremony and cocktail hour(s), well within CDC guidelines. I can’t wIt for our BIG reception one year from now! ❤️🥰 -

Stress free wedding!
I had a beautiful winter wedding here in December 2019. Their space is great no matter what time of year, and they are working on providing more spaces now. The space is above the Brewery but there was no noise spillover and the food was great! You are required to use their kitchen/food but they have lots of options and add-ons.
I could rave about a lot, but honestly, Paris (the coordinator) is the main reason we chose Manayunk and should be the reason you at least look at this venue. She was so helpful, responsive, and accommodating the entire time we were planning and especially the day of our wedding. My maid of honor keeps joking that she didn’t have anything to do because Paris took care of it all! Everything was absolutely magical. -

We cannot say enough good things about Manayunk Brewing Company and its venue coordinator, Paris. Last summer when we were on the hunt for wedding venues in PA, Manayunk was the first and only place we ever looked at. We wanted a place that felt like us; somewhere with a lot of character and not too traditional. Manayunk Brewery fit the bill perfectly for our 150 person wedding and Paris as the venue coordinator and point of contact was the cherry on top. Due to the pandemic we unfortunately had to push our May 2020 wedding to August, and are now in the process of indefinitely postponing it. Paris has been so understanding and flexible and unlike some vendors/venues, genuinely cares about each individual client. We hope that some day down the road we will be able to hold a big celebration there! -

Manayunk Brewing Company exceeded every possible expectation we had. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, and Paris ALL were exceptional. I barely had to look across the room before I had someone asking if we needed anything and this wasn't just for myself and my groom - even my family were treated like royalty. All of our guests spoke about how amazing of a space the brewery was and how much the food was fantastic. I am beyond blown away from how perfect our wedding night was. Do yourself a favor and book right now with Manayunk Brewery! This was the first venue we saw. We knew after seeing the space and meeting Paris that there would be no better place for us to get married! I honestly cannot put into further words how happy I am! -

When my husband and I first started looking at venues, we saw Manayunk Brewery pop up on the list (through the Knot!) and knew it was a great match. We went to go eat there for lunch then tour the venue and fell in love. Not only is the space beautiful, we loved the outside porch (with the option to open it, which we did!), and of course, Paris.
Paris was amazing to work with. She answered our silly questions, listened to the ideas we had for the space, and was in general, fantastic to work with. The entire staff at Manayunk really made our day special. We've been to many weddings where the bride and groom doesn't get to eat, has to stand up at the bar waiting for a drink, etc. However, that was not the case here. We were fed first (they asked our preference!) so we could walk around to tables while others ate, we were addressed by name by each staff member, offered drinks every time they saw us walking around (even going above and beyond getting any requested drinks from their downstairs bar if it wasn't available for us), and just always being kind, professional, and helpful to not just us but all our guests as well. They were so happy to fulfill whatever request we had.
The venue was beautiful (I'm still getting compliments on it!), food was great, and drinks were fantastic! Overall, we are so happy we chose Manayunk were blown away by how well everything went and looked. Thank you again Paris and your team! We had a phenomenal time and loved every minute! -

I don’t know how to put into words how much gratitude I have for MBC (and especially for Paris). We toured 2 venues before seeing MBC and immediately knew how perfect this space was for our wedding. We had the ceremony on the outdoor deck overlooking the Schuykill River which Paris made work for us despite our guest count and humid weather! It was absolutely perfect, they had just resurfaced the deck which was gorgeous and sturdy! We also took advantage of their new bridal suite (wedding suite, but it’s a brides dream in design) which was stunning and so nice to have a safe haven away from the rest of the festivities. Our dinner was great and the bar-staff were so fun and accommodating. They ran with our request for signature cocktails and everyone was well cared for all night! Paris was up to whatever challenge we brought to her (there was tons) including restructuring the layout of the reception space and ordering larger tables per our request (for free) to accommodate an 8 person band, sweetheart table, dessert table, 12 guest tables and a large dance floor which we fully took advantage of. Paris made sure everything was set up perfectly on our special day and made the entire night run seamlessly. Wish we could get married again and again so we could continue to relive this experience (we might)! Definitely recommending to everyone I know :) but also don’t really have to because they were also at our wedding and fell in love with the space just as we did! -

Manayunk Brewery was the perfect location for our wedding. My husband and I started our venue search feeling overwhelmed by the cost of weddings and feeling like the locations we saw online didn’t match our personality. That changed when we visited Manayunk Brewery. The brewery is ideal for anyone who wants a fun and more casual wedding. The space was perfect for our 106 guests and the dance floor fit everyone (which is super important!!). Paris was easy to work with, responsive, and put us at ease that we had nothing to worry about. She worked well with our coordinators to make our night go smoothly. They were also able to accommodate our guests with food allergies. We are so grateful that we chose Manayunk Brewery! -

The food was amazing and our guests couldn't stop talking about it! (Get the salmon!) We also loved the venue- it's spacious, rustic, and really cute! We got married last April. As craft beer lovers, we chose Manayunk Brewing Company very early on in our wedding planning process due to the “vibe” of having our reception at a brewery as well as the very competitive pricing of the space. We were immediately introduced to Paris, who quickly became one of the best and most helpful people in our wedding planning. She was amazing throughout the entire process and always took the extra mile to make sure that we were organized and excited!
The event space itself is on the second floor above the restaurant. There are separate entrances, so you won’t have to worry about running into regular patrons during your event. Renovations were being done at the time of our wedding, so the space may look different now, but at the time, it was a wonderful blend of industrial and old-fashioned that was ideal for our aesthetic. The room was also the perfect size for the number of guests we had (around 70). Again, the space has gone through renovations, so you should go see it for yourself in order to see what changes have occurred.
The food was fantastic! We are still receiving compliments from attendees on how excellent the food (and the drinks) were! An advantage that this place has is having the restaurant on the first floor; any diet restrictions that a few of our guests had were able to be easily accommodated. Also, if you’re going to have an open bar, it’s awesome to be able to have a wide selection of craft beer being offered instead of the usual two or three generic options that you normally get at most weddings.
Another nice touch was that a separate plate of the hors d’oeuvres was set aside for us to make sure that we actually got to have some when we had a break in being good hosts to our guests. The staff made sure throughout the night that we were eating and drinking enough so that we weren’t missing out on our own reception food and drinks, which we heard has happened to many couples at many other places.
We would readily recommend Manayunk Brewing Company for an event space! The restaurant/brewery downstairs is excellent as well; we’ve gone there on several occasions and have never been disappointed. -

Your search for a venue is over! Book Manayunk Brewing Company NOW! This was the first vendor we booked, and it was the best decision we could have made. We knew we wanted a brewery wedding and being the control freak that I am , I thought we'd have to go the DIY route to do it. After checking out a few breweries where we'd need to find our own caterer, we visited MBC in July to make our parents happy (they were very nervous about the DIY idea). As soon as we met Paris Rose (Sales & Banquet Mgr), we knew we were in the right place! Paris Rose was fantastic and made the planning process so easy. She has seen it all and knows what works. She knows what your guests will like/dislike, and she won't steer you wrong or let you waste your money. In her own words: "I will not let you fail." She immediately understood our vision and the vibe we were going for and offered suggestions. From the rehearsal to the ceremony, she was there every step of the way to make sure things went perfectly. This included calling around to find us Philly soft pretzels right before the ceremony when our original vendor didn't show up! We didn't even know there was an issue until after the reception. The event space is beautiful and simply decorated in such a way that we were easily able to make it uniquely ours. Whatever theme and colors you choose (we chose a Navy & Lavender beer theme), it will look awesome in this space. We also opted to have our ceremony on the adjacent upper deck and the river backdrop full of Autumn colors was beautiful. The menu options are endless! Consistent with our casual vibe, we opted for a cocktail style reception with no sit down dinner or assigned seats. We served heavy hors d'oeuvres and went with stations for dinner (tacos, cheesesteaks and potato bar). Unlike other venues we looked at, MBC does cocktail style events often and knew what they were doing! Paris was super helpful when we were making menu selections - providing details on which hors d'oeuvres were popular, appropriate quantities based on our other selections, how to handle dietary restrictions, etc. Another plus? We used 2 vendors from MBC's preferred vendor list: Schaffer Sound (DJ) and La Bella Vita event planning (day of coordination). Both recommendations were spot on - they were awesome! Our guests are still raving about the venue, but more specifically the staff! The bartenders and waitstaff were fantastic and fit right in with our party! Long story short - if you're looking for a venue that will allow you to have as traditional or unique of a wedding as you want, Manayunk Brewing Company is the place! Plan the wedding of your dreams then watch Paris and team make it happen! -

My husband and I only looked at two wedding venues and immediately knew when we toured Manayunk Brewing Co that we had the appropriate venue for our wedding in September 2018. First, the aesthetics of the second floor private event space are beautiful, and even moreso than during our initial walkthrough because they have expanded by 1000 sq feet which made a huge difference in seating and wiggle room for our guests.
We were so pleased with the level of service provided by Manayunk Brewing Company, particularly for their event coordinator Paris Rose. She is so easy to work with - she's quick to respond to any and all questions, provides guidance based on her extensive experience, and is so very organized. For me, having Paris as part of the package with hosting both our ceremony and reception at Manayunk meant I did not feel the need to hire a separate wedding planner. It was so nice to work so closely with her and make our wedding vision a reality.
Our guests had many good things to say about the venue and the food which we were very happy with! The sushi at cocktail hour was a fun and unique option that everyone raved about and the live action dinner stations were also a big hit, allowing our guests to try a few things for dinner.
We thought hard about how to deal with the parking that can be tough in Manayunk, so we would recommend hiring shuttle buses to move guests from your wedding block hotels to the venue to avoid the headaches!
At the end of the day, we can't say enough good things about Manayunk Brewing Company and Paris Rose. We have no hesitation in giving the highest recommendation for prospective brides and grooms - go for it, you will not be disappointed! -
Emily Sent on 08/01/2018My hubby and I tied the knot here on July 21, 2018, and I cannot say enough good things about this venue! They recently renovated their private event space, putting down new floors, installing new light fixtures, and expanding the space by a few feet. It has a really cool, industrial chic vibe going, so we were able to go with minimalist decorations and centerpieces. The venue fit our 105 guest wedding really well. Plus they have indoor and outdoor space available - you can pay a little extra to open the patio bar so that guests can sit and sip, overlooking the Schuylkill river.
Their event coordinator Paris was incredible - she was always very quick to respond to my frantic emails, and she offered tons of helpful suggestions through the wedding planning process. She was also a great calming voice on the day-of for this nervous bride.
All of the staff at the venue were superb - even our other vendors complimented them on being friendly and helpful.
The food and beverages were also great. They have a bunch of different unique food options available - we opted for food stations instead of plated meals, and our guests really liked the carving station, stir-fry station and mac and cheese bar. The alcohol package includes the beer that they brew onsite, which changes seasonally. So on the day of, we weren't sure exactly what beers would be served, since it's subject to availability, but there was a wide variety of styles to suit various tastes.
10/10 would wed here again. -

I was lucky enough to find this support with Paris at The Manayunk Brewing Pub. I was originally drawn toward the Brew Pub for its unique, elegant space. The upstairs is very spacious and the decor is modern and really adds to the space. I was not looking for a cookie cutter hotel wedding where each wedding looks the same. I wanted something unique that would have my Husband and I talking about our wedding for years to come. When I met Paris, I was excited about the possibilities of what we could create together. She was open to my vision and shared exactly what her and her staff were capable of. I appreciated this very much. The last thing anyone needs, especially a bride is someone agreeing to something that cannot accomplishment. Paris even allowed us to come in the night before the wedding to setup the space. This additional time for setup saved the day and Paris even stayed to help with setup. She is a perfectionist and would not leave without knowing that the space was to our liking. We got married on the deck and it was intimate and beautiful. I was concerned about our guests being chilly so Paris held all the guests in the cocktail space until the very last moment so they did not have to be outside too long. She did this on her own and it was a brilliant idea! I could write another two paragraphs on the customer service, event coordination and guidance that Paris provided but I will stop here. Simply put, the space is magnificent, the food is delicious and the staff support is unwavering. I was lucky enough to have my wedding at Manayunk Brewing Company and I imagine I will have many more events there in the future!! -

Andrea Sent on 10/24/2014I had my reception at the Manayunk Brew Pub in August of 2013. This was my second wedding, so I have other vendors to compare to, and this was by far a superior experience. Marissa was a joy to work with, and has become our friend! She was so responsive and offered such great ideas. Also, it was just as flexible as we needed it to be, while staying in our budget. My husband and I are even thinking of having our 5 year anniversary party here because it was so fun! -

Courtney Sent on 09/15/2014We had our September wedding reception at the Manayunk Brewery and were very pleased with our choice. Marissa is a sweetheart and worked her tail off to create a very special day for us. The day before I dropped off BOXES of decor items and gave her the freedom of using it where she pleased and she exceeded my expectations. The day of, my cousins dropped off vases filled with fresh flowers and they set up our centerpieces better than I could have imagined.
I will say that our tasting was a bit rocky to say the least (we had our tasting the same day as a large event and I think the kitchen was just rushing it to be honest) which of course left me nervous but I can honestly say that EVERYTHING we ate the night of the wedding was better than the tasting! Go figure :) The staff was SO thoughtful and courteous to our guests that we were actually getting rave reviews throughout the night. Everyone devoured their meals and said it was one of the best meals they had gotten at a wedding ever.
We danced all night - ALL night and had a great time. Highly recommend Manayunk Brewery for your special event. -

Linette Sent on 11/12/2009Their banquet food was excellent, they were extremely responsive to all my needs and last minute requests and changes. The price was very resonable. As with any vendor, be sure everything you want is in wiriting so that if there's any question you have proof. We had our own wedding coordinators setup for the receptions, and it looked amazing! The only thing we were slightly unhappy with is that they let the general public upstairs early (they were supposed to wait a little longer) and we were rushed out and gaped at while we hurridly boxed up our items.) However, looking back it was wonderful and there's nothing we would have changed.
