John made our day so smooth, stress free and perfect for us!

We had a a mishap where John never received our packet of info and songs in the mail. With only 2 weeks left, he worked extra hard to get everything in order after i sent it in an email. Even with this happening he managed to make our day perfect. I would highly recommend for your wedding or any event you may have. He was the life of the party!

Best DJ Ever!!!

Working with Jon at Making Memories Entertainment was truly a blast! He worked with us and our wedding coordinator to create the wedding reception of our dreams! He was very on top of things and was very easy to communicate with and prompt in his responses. I wish I could give him more than just 5 stars! AMAZING! The best DJ ever.

I couldn’t have picked a better DJ. He made me feel so special on my bid day. He was in on so many fun surprises. He did everything he could to keep me stress free! (Even cleared off plates from my head table!!) he had great music taste and brought the PARTY!

Best choice ever 1000/10

John is amaaaaazing!! He can transition so smoothly and effortlessly and is a wizard at reading a crowd. He not only incorporated the songs me and my (now) husband requested but timed them perfectly throughout the night! We both got so many compliments from our families on how he did a good job entertaining the crowd during the happy hour(s). We had a long gap between ceremony and entrance but he kept them happy! John answered any questions we had in the planning phases and went over things very thoughtfully beforehand so that we knew exactly what was going to happen and could adjust/make any changes if needed. The day of he did so many things for us throughout the night that made us feel extra special. Above and waaaaay beyond!! I cannot recommend him enough, he is your guy!

The Kaster wedding with DJ John! 9-23-23

DJ John Price was just one of the many things that made our big day absolutely perfect! Not only was he super flexible and always available to talk and answer any questions, he pays extra attention to the little details! Hearing our love story and being able to share it with our guest brought tears to my eyes. He was so generous and helped pick up plates and trash so it wouldn’t be in our pictures! He even helped my father pull off a surprise for me before our father/ daughter dance! We were able to send a list of songs we wanted played and our guest were able to make request all night! He even played music for our outdoor ceremony! Without DJ John our day wouldn’t have been complete.

Absolutely amazing!

John did an AMAZING job at our wedding, we danced the night away! He is super flexible to work with, detail oriented but still very go with the flow! I would definitely hire John again and recommend him to anyone! He played exactly what we wanted to hear and was very professional! He even offered to clean up our head table so the pictures were perfect! I highly recommend Making Memories Entertainment!

Kilner Wedding

John was amazing!! We hired him very last minute due to a kink within the last month before the wedding. He put all of our stuff together within a week and a half!! (Would recommend booking earlier) but John did amazing!!
He was so helpful and made me feel so confident in how the day was going to go! We appreciate John so much and everything he did for us. The sound was great too and he was wonderful to work with!

Hands down best DJ around!! If you want a DJ that will make your day amazing then John is your guy!! John does an amazing job running the show smoothly and keeping everyone dancing all night! Amazing! Great play lists and totally personalized to you!

John did an amazing job! He talked to my vendor and photographer the whole night to make sure everything went smooth. He is not the party stopper and is so flexible on times. It’s so nice that he will be there for you ALL day and not have an hourly limit. He was so kind to everyone and makes sure everyone’s requests come in. He was able to make the night so personal to us. 100% recommend!

Best DJ you could ask for!

John was by far the best DJ we could've asked for! We are so thankful he took us on as clients. Once we confirmed we were going with him, he sent me a very detailed notebook of how we wanted our day to go, our go-to songs, songs we didn't want played, etc. He was very detailed down to every second of the day. He did both our ceremony and reception and we did not have to provide any equipment! He was very friendly and made sure we felt no stress on our special day. He made sure that our photographer was front center and no one was to get in her way when taking photographs; he even helped clean up or plates after dinner! He's the best DJ you can get in the midwest. Thanks John!

Incredible DJ

John was such an amazing DJ to work with for our wedding. He did such a good job of staying in touch with us before the wedding so that everything was taken care of. He also gave us several song options to choose from which helped us know what we wanted for the reception. During the reception itself he did great at keeping things moving and getting people in the right place and at the right time. The dance floor was going all night and we thank him for keeping everyone engaged. Highly recommend John as your wedding DJ. He truly feels like he is part of the family!

5 stras across the board!!

Three years in the making! If you ever hire a DJ, do yourself a favor and contact John asap before some one else does. He is a wedding coordinator, a DJ, and helps with anything you need through the entire day of your wedding! He goes out of his way to make sure that your guests and yourself are having a blast with no issues. He deals with any last minute changes with ease and made sure the party never stoped. There was never a dull moment when John is working his magic!

He even took personal photos of us! John is an all around amazing man with an amazing heart and we would recommend him to anybody who is needing a fun and stress free DJ. We are honored to welcome him into our family and am thankful we make a life long friend. We love you John!

Personalized and Attentive!

Where do we even begin! We planned our wedding for nearly 2.5 years and John was with us from the very beginning. John's many meetings helped keep us on track and his attention to detail was exactly what we needed/wanted. I had never been to such a personalized wedding like ours was, because of him! John was very thorough throughout the whole process. He made sure we were getting the party we wanted to have. The best dj!

John is such a great DJ! He had been the DJ at both of my brother's weddings and did a fabulous job and so when I was looking for a DJ, he was the first person I thought of and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else! He cares about his clients and wants the best for them! Our wedding reception got pushed back because of COVID and so he was very flexible and worked with us to find a new date that worked to have our reception. My husband and I loved working with him and am so glad he was able to be apart of our wedding reception!

John is more than a DJ!

John is amazing and is much more than a DJ, he is an emcee or master of ceremonies and takes care of it all. At your reception, you do not have to worry about anything, he is helpful, communicative with other vendors, and inclusive of all aspects of the wedding reception. John's experience allows him to know exactly what kind of music your wedding guests enjoy and want to dance to and definitely keeps the party going as long as you want it to. John is thoughtful in the planning process and makes sure everything is perfect.
I will 10/10 recommend him to each and every couple I know.

We were so thankful to have John on our wedding day!! His attention to detail and level of service is INCOMPARABLE!! We were engaged for 2 years and booked John very early in the planning process. John called us every 3-4 months to make sure that things were running smoothly and to see if there was anything he could do and THAT MEANT EVERYTHING!! Absolutely perfect

When choosing a DJ, John was the only DJ we even considered. We moved wedding dates after booking him and he was one we made sure was able to move dates with us. He did more than play music. He organized, he cleaned up, he kept the party going. John made the music part of the wedding planning so easy. He played music at both the ceremony and reception.
John came out prior to the wedding day and set up. Then ended up having to tear down and move his equipment to a better place at his suggestion. He never complained nor asked for help. I don’t think DJ is the right title for John. Wedding Planner/DJ might fit him better ☺️

Amazing Experience!

We cannot thank John enough for everything! He was excellent at communicating throughout the entire planning process, always responding timely and checking in to make sure everything was going okay and to see if there was any way he could help. The day of our wedding, he did a great job making all announcements/introductions and the dance floor was packed the entire night! We planned a surprise wedding and could not have pulled it off without John and his creative wisdom. he is personable, professional and easy to work with. Best DJ in the entire industry

I have sat here all day thinking about how I could possibly put into words how helpful and truly amazing John Price is. Through out the entire planning process John was so responsive, creative, and just an all around great person to plan a wedding with. There is no request that is too difficult for John to pull off. Any idea I had John made it work and has all of the knowledge you want your DJ to have on one of the most important days of your life. Come wedding time WOW is all I can say. Right before the ceremony I got so nervous and frazzled but John came back and made sure that everyone in our wedding party knew exactly where they needed to be and what they were doing. He is so calming while also having the upbeat personality you want in a DJ! John truly doubles as a day of coordinator and DJ as well! John was amazing at announcing events, feeling out the crowd, playing the best music, and keeping everyone dancing all night! I will forever reccomend John and Making Memories Entertainment to any engaged couple I know! Thank you SO much John for making our wedding the best night ever! Also, John does this awesome thing where he announces a group picture and takes videos all night to create a nice little recap of the wedding! Our group picture will be forever one of my favorite pictures! This is just a small example of the creativity you get when you hire John!

John went above and beyond to make sure our wedding reception was perfect. He was the main reason our party was hoppin’ all night long-the dance floor was NEVER empty! I have had several people of all ages tell me how awesome the music was and that they haven’t been to a wedding reception that fun in a long time/ever. 40th surprise party

John went above and beyond to make sure our party was memorable! He arrived early and stayed late always making sure we were happy and that it all ran smoothly! Anything you need John was right on it from helping decorate the night before to helping pick up after the wedding! He was always checking up on the wedding party to make sure we didn’t need anything! We had a blast with him was great to get to know him! You read all these reviews about how great John and how amazing his service is, its truly an understatement!! He reached out throughout the engagement to check in. We lived an hour and 30 minutes from him and he drove to us to meet up with us, this was huge cause our lives are obviously crazy busy with the wedding coming up! The day the wedding came and this is when we were so thankful to have him. First of all to deal with our crazy (lots of drunk guys as well) bunch and to do it with a smile was a blessing. He checked on the head table multiple times to make sure we all had what we needed and even cleared our plates after we ate. He arranged everyone for a big group photo and even sent us pictures from the reception of people dancing!! (this was great cause our photographer had left pretty early so it was nice to actually get some) The music he played kept every on the dance floor nearly all night! We have not stopped hearing how great of an evening it was from our guests. We could have not asked for a better person to help us celebrate!

I would absolutely recommend John as your DJ. I was blown away at all the extra work he did both at the wedding and after it - several meaningful, special things I was not expecting at all. He made a video, took photos, did extra hours the night of and got those to us the very next morning, we got the rest of it in the mail soon after. He kept true to his word 100%. I chose John through a friend's referral, and I would definitely refer him to my friends.

I don’t know if 5 stars is enough to express how absolutely wonderful John was! I’m very laid back and apologetic for things and he continually reassured me and laid down the law that it was “my” day and to quit apologizing! There was a caterer issue that I found out about after the fact, and come to find out it was John who saved the day and is the reason I didn’t find out Day of. He is way more than just a DJ - he was a crucial part of making our wedding absolutely perfect. Throughout the whole wedding planning process he was right there, eager to help in any way possible no matter how small. Our venue even complimented me and wished they would have John there for every wedding. So great - thank you AGAIN John for absolutely everything!!!

Making Memories truly represents their name. Our wedding day was perfect and so memorable! John is THE best in the business. He always made sure we had everything we needed from the time leading up to the wedding. From playing the best music to making sure everything was going smoothly. John put our minds at ease throughout this whole process and we are so grateful! He even made a memory video from our reception that we keep playing back and laughing harder and harder each time. Our wedding was a small venue but was treated as we were a huge venue!! No corners cut at all we had a great day and were taking very well care of by John and Debbie!!! Our guests loved the photo booth!!!

John was hands-down the best DJ we could have found. We had somewhat unique and specific music tastes, but John obtained all of the music we wanted (because it was not all in his library) and he played exactly what we wanted prior to the ceremony, at the end of the ceremony, during drinks, during dinner, and of course during the dance. (Like I said, we were specific.) He also knew when to improvise and play a variety of music to get the party going. He made wonderful announcements during the reception that included just enough information to be interesting, but was not long-winded. He even makes a few extra announcements more than what your average wedding DJ does (parents, grandparents, flower girls). He took an interest in us as a couple from the start and was in contact with us regularly. He really thought about the venue space and what would work best. He gave us great advice. He did all of this during a time when he was going through a close family member's passing. We would like to thank his wife for stepping in and contacting us and working with us during that time. Thank you, John and Debbie for helping to make our day so special! You are special people :)

I highly recommend Making Memories Entertainment for DJ and Entertainment services! We used him for our company holiday party which had around 310 guests. In the months working up to the event, John was in contact with me several times. He even called me from a hospital bed after having knee surgery. If that's not service, I don't know what is!

On the night of the event, John was very flexible and helpful with making sure that the event schedule was managed well, tables were dismissed for the buffet line and it kept going, and he helped a lot with just maintaining the flow of the party. I would absolutely reach out to him again the next time we need a DJ!

I had met John about 14 years ago when he was new to DJ'ing around this area. Since then I have gotten the opportunity to attend several events that he has DJ'd. I can say without a doubt that he has definitely evolved with the business. I have been a part of several weddings and I can say for certain that if you have a mediocre to ok DJ, you aren't going to have the atmosphere you are looking for. I feel as if my situation was a bit unique as I wanted to make plans to do a tribute to my brother going through radiation/chemo; John met with me numerous times, we texted, messaged, emailed, you name it we did it. Also, after the celebration John helped to clean up, he helped the night flow to the extent that he even helped to get my cake lady her cake pans. John is 110% on top of his game and he knows what to do and when to do it. I would not hesitate to spend the same amount of money on John in the future for more events.

My husband and I are firm believers you get what you pay for. Making Memories is exactly that! They may not be the cheapest around but they sure do the best job around. They also do a complete job! Making Memories really get to know their clients having you fill out a binder to create a time line of the day for you. You can absolutely tell John and his wife absolutely love what they do. They go above and beyond your typical DJ. Making Memories was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We had a wedding planner and they worked very well together. They communicated to one another and planned out the perfect day for us!

John was an absolute God sent for our wedding! He actually came to our rehearsal and it was good he did, because he helped get us organized. Throughout the whole week of the wedding he was constantly in touch about weather and if we needed anything. He was always in contact to make sure that if we needed anything he would be willing to help! On the wedding day, John was very punctual to the ceremony and got our reception off to a great start. He was always walking around to clean trash off the tables to make sure they didn't end up in pictures. He always had people on the dance floor and the party going. Best DJ EVER!!!

There are not enough words to express how great an experience we had working with John and Debbie Price for our daughter's wedding. From the first contact, we knew things were going to go smoothly. John is more than a great DJ! He is a coordinator. John worked with our daughter for several months before the wedding to ensure the timeline was organized and that everything went off without a hitch. He was the MC of the event, and announced all of the special moments during the reception, from the introductions of the wedding party, to the last dance, and everything in between. None of our guests wondered what was going on at any time. John even worked with our daughter and her husband to set up a few surprise dances and songs for very special people in our lives. John and Deb recorded a tribute to a friend serving over-seas and made the file available for us to be able to send to our favorite soldier! The photo booth was a blast for our guests and again, we received a file with all of the photo booth pictures for us to enjoy. Choosing Making Memories Entertainment for our DJ services was one of the best decisions we made. We met John at a bridal show and what impressed us was how much he seemed to care about personalizing the experience for each and every couple he DJs for. John went above and beyond just being a DJ! He helped clear tables always checking in to see how everyone was doing. He called throughout the wedding planning period just to check in which we loved! I would recommend John Price to anyone looking for a DJ!

It's been almost 14 years since you were our DJ. Things didn't go as planned with some equipment malfunctions , but you went out of your way to get the party going. You offered to stay as late as we wanted you to. It was perfect. John you and Debbie are wonderfull! You went from being our DJ to being our friends.

John was an incredible DJ and entertainer at our wedding. I have receive so many complements from gusets saying the remember how well he kept the party going and theur was no 'dead time' at the reception. He incorporated evwry idea we had and understood exactly what we wanted! I highly recommend him for any event!

John went above and beyond throughout our entire wedding AND engagement period. Whether it was through a thorough binder of ideas, or through his periodic check-ins, we definitely felt that he was prepared for our day. When that day came, John helped to keep things moving at our rehearsal, played incredible music at our ceremony, and most of all helped us throw an incredible party at our reception! The dance floor was never empty. John's receptions are so personal with the bits he adds in about your love story, birthdays, and special announcements. We also loved the selfie photo booth! What really sets John apart is the little things he does that he doesn't HAVE to do - John took photos of us at both our wedding and reception, as well as made a highlight video that was released within 24 hours. We would definitely recommend John with Making Memories Entertainment for any and every occasion. If you're looking for a fun, professional, organized DJ, look no further!

John and his wife Debbie are phenomenal. They were so helpful and responsive during the planning process and were always checking up on me as we approached the special day. Debbie immeadiately offered to help us set up the venue, as we were short on time for set up, and she did wonderful. Johns playlist was the BOMB! Everyone was dancing all night! As a bride, I had the fear that people would leave and the party wouldn't last, but everyone stayed until the very last minute and were rocking out! It was so amazing. John and Debbie are wonderful people and I appreciate them so much!

Oh goodness where do I start. We could not have asked for a better DJ at our wedding!! He is so interactive from the time you ask him to be your DJ to even after the reception is over!! He and Debbie go a absolutely above and behind for each and every couple!! We met him at my husbands cousin's wedding and chatted with us and then drove 2+ hours 2 days after that down to meet to have our formal greeting!! I was late getting my papers into him and he had about 2 weeks to put it all together!! During that 2 weeks and onto our wedding day he was going through a loss in the family. You would not have thought that 1 bit!! I have nothing but FANTASTIC things to say!

Y'all are crazy not to pick MME for your DJ!! ;)

John was a great DJ!! He went above and beyond to go out of his way to help in any way he can. From helping clear dinner plates to helping cut the cake, he does it all! His new service, the photobooth, was a GREAT hit at our wedding!! Definitely a must!!! Will be recommending him to everyone!

John did an outstanding job of not only being a DJ but an overall host for our wedding. He not only kept everything in line but he went out of his way to clean up a few messes and much more. Even our guests noticed him going out of his way to make the evening even better, we received many compliments. He made sure to adapt the music to keep our guests dancing and entertained, so we didn't need to worry about a dead dance floor. We are so thankful for him and the excellent job he does. We would recommend him over and over! Don't even look anywhere else than Making Memories Entertainment! Thank you John!

John is a great DJ!! He went above and beyond what was required of a DJ, and my parents absolutely loved him! Our guests also loved how he got the crowd involved! It was seriously a great party and we couldn't have done it without John.
