If you are needing a hair & makeup artist for your upcoming wedding look no further. Irene and her team of skilled professionals are the absolute best of the best.
She brought a team of 3 hair stylists and 3 makeup artists for my wedding day. They were able to finish myself, 10 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and my flower girl within 4.5-5 hours and we even got done early!!
During my trial with Irene and Fabiola, I was so impressed with their technique and skill. I felt confident that I would be in good hands on my wedding day. On the day of the event, they were right on time and had everything set up and ready to go in our bridal suite.
Irene is absolutely talented and has an eye for makeup. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and cannot thank her and her team enough for making this bride so happy! xoxoMakeup Vallarta's reply:

First time ever getting professional makeup done. I did not have enough time for a HAMU trial so I was a little nervous and did not know what to expect. Irene made the whole process incredibly easy. She has the best communication and made me feel like she was the one. The day of, she arrived on time and her team did all of my bridesmaids and some family members HAMU (total of ~10). Everyone looked stunning! I was the bride and Irene ABSOLUTELY exceeded all expectations. I loved my makeup, it was so natural and so beautiful and I just felt like the most beautiful girl ever. Best makeup artist!
I cannot recommend my wedding makeup artist enough! Not only did they make me feel absolutely stunning with flawless makeup that lasted all day and night, but they also worked magic on my hair. Everything was exactly how I dreamed it would be—elegant, timeless, and perfectly me. Their calming presence and attention to detail made the whole experience even more special. South Asian Bride!
What an amazing experience with the Makeup Vallarta team! They are not only kindest people but also SO talented! Ireri is amazing and Kyrie did my hair. and the rest of the team did my bridal party and they looked absolutely STUNNING! I would say to make sure you have your inspiration photos because they will go based off of your instructions and will perfect your curated look for you! Irene is a very skilled makeup artist! I signed up for airbrush makeup and hair through Makeup Vallarta. My trial went AMAZING (as seen in the photo in the white jumpsuit), although my curls fell out quickly since we were on a windy beach and my hair was down.
The day of the wedding also went well. My bridesmaid and my mother were all extremely happy with their hair and makeup! We had two junior bridesmaids as well that we're able to achieve some youthful braids and natural makeup. We were running behind schedule, so it did feel rushed when we got to my makeup (I was last), and I had to miss some of my photo time with my bridesmaids, which was disappointing.
Overall this team is very highly skilled so make sure you budget ample time to let them do their magic.Makeup Vallarta's reply:

Makeup Vallarta group did an amazing job for my destination wedding, both Oscar and Paola were very personable and professional throughout. they both are incredibly good at what they do and got me exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup. I can’t say enough good things about Irene and her glam squad!!! They were easy to communicate with up front, very flexible when we had to change resorts the night before the wedding because of Hurricane Lidia 😵💫, and SO KIND to my bridal squad during the day of the wedding. We all loved our hair and makeup and the airbrush makeup lasted all evening at our beachside ceremony and reception! Most of my bridal party got airbrush makeup and their hair done. I forgot my clip in extensions at home and was genuinely impressed with how they were able to make my low bridal bun still come to life. Makeup Vallarta gets 10/10 stars from my crew! Incredible Experience
The Makeup Vallarta team exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. They did a great job of following photo inspiration and adjusting when necessary. I could not have been happier with my bridal hair and makeup. I do not wear a lot of makeup and was very nervous about not looking like myself when getting full glam. I communicated all of this to Irene and she did such a great job of making sure I was comfortable with everything she did!
I also had a totally different vision for my hair before speaking with Irene. I wanted to wear my hair down and she talked through why that could be a bad idea because of the humid climate (while at the same time telling me I can do whatever I wish). I really appreciate a vendor who can be friendly but honest with a bride to help adjust their vision for success.

Irene and her team did a fabulous job for me and my 12 bridesmaids. No easy feat with that many people involved! They were very prompt, super organized and professional! Every single one of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous and our hair held up well in the tropical heat. My makeup for my wedding day was flawless and I could not have felt more beautiful. Me and my husband got married in March 2022 at the beautiful W Punta Mita hotel. After reading the raving reviews about Irene at Makeup Vallarta and looking into her work myself, I made the decision to go with Irene and I am so glad I did. I met with Irene and one of her hair stylists a few days before the wedding to do a hair and makeup trial, and they got what I was asking for on the first try. For my wedding I had 5 bridesmaids. I also included hair and makeup for my mom, my mother-in-law, and the flower girl. Each person provided what kind of hair and makeup they wanted, and Irene and her team delivered! I was very happy with everyone's hair and makeup, but more importantly I was very happy with my hair and makeup. Irene and her team even squeezed him some additional guests who wanted their hair and makeup done. Throughout the whole process Irene was very professional and communicative which is part of the reason for my 5 star review because my wedding was a destination wedding (I do not live in Mexico). So if you are in the Puerto Vallarta area and are looking for a hair and make up artist, whether it be for your wedding or a photoshoot, I highly recommend the Makeup Vallarta.Makeup Vallarta's reply:

Irene and team are all talented and professional makeup and hair artist! Irene truly made me feel beautiful on my big day! We had a total of 5 makeup/hair professionals come do me and 8 bridesmaids on my wedding day plus my mom and mother in law and every single one of them were so talented. Myself and my bridesmaids were all so happy with the way we looked with both hair and makeup. Irene is so sweet and very professional and is easy to communicate with.
