Excellence
Taryn was referred by a friend and I’m so happy for the referral. She did my hair and makeup as a maid of honor and my daughter’s who was a brides maid. It was exactly what we were looking for both makeup and hair. Not only did her artistic skills make the day, she was also very calming to the bride with a few issues that arose with the venue. Highly recommend her for your next event! -

Taryn is the BEST!
Taryn was referred to me by another Bride who LOVED everything about Taryn. She was right! Taryn is very talented and has everything needed to make your look spectacular.
I did a makeup test first to try out different lashes, etc. Taryn never was rushed and created a soft and natural look for an older Bride. When my wedding day came, Taryn was cool and collected, even when I sent her to an incorrect room number. Because Taryn was together, I felt calm and confident and relaxed for the first time that day.
We decided on individual lashes, neutral colors and I loved the look she created. I would recommend Taryn for ANY makeup needs. She uses quality products that are available to buy at most beauty stores and I was finally able to switch makeup brands without too much angst. -

I am so glad I chose Taryn to do my makeup for my wedding! She did a fabulous job. During my trial run, she took time to listen to what I wanted and delivered on my vision 100%. The quality of her work is very high, and she offers it at a reasonable price. I will definitely find excuses to get my makeup done by her again in the future!! Thanks Taryn! -

Taryn was amazing !!! She came to my house at 6am to do my bridal makeup and not once complained about having to wake up early lol. She was super sweet and funny! The makeup look was AMAZING , couldn't ask for anything better than what she did. Definitely will be contacting her for any future events -

I was really desperate for a makeup artist with only a week before me wedding left, and I was fortunate enough to be directed to Taryn. Where others had not impressed me after the trial, my trial with Taryn was great! She was professional, courteous, very flexible, and above all: Taryn is an incredible makeup artist. I have a lot of acne spots and dark circles and she was able to make me look flawless on my wedding day. I was so happy with the way my makeup turned out, she was able to take my ideas and add suggestions that really pulled everything together. So happy I found her! -

Taryn did my makeup for me on my wedding day with no trial run and she did an amazing job. She matched my skin tone perfectly, did a bueatif smokey eye on me that was appropriate for my wedding day, and stayed by my side to do touch ups throughout the day. I highly recommend her for any occasion!! -

Taryn did my makeup for a friend's wedding. She really took into account my coloring, shape of my face and what I was hoping for when she planned my look! Taryn No-Call No-show day of wedding
Taryn no-call no-showed me on the day of my wedding.
I am absolutely perplexed by this situation. I had a trial with Taryn about 3 weeks prior to the day of the wedding. For the trial, I went to her house, paid her cash, and thought I had a great experience. Upon leaving the trial, we confirmed date and time of the event and I had no worries.
Day of I still hadn't heard from her 10 minutes prior to when I was expecting her. I decided to text her the room number we were getting ready in but heard no response. I waited 10 more minutes, then decided to call her. My call was ignored after two and a half to three rings, twice. At this point, I caught the drift, and wasn't going to waste any more time waiting around. So I did my own makeup even though I didn't have much packed (because I was counting on her showing up.)
Bottom line, Taryn, this was so unprofessional and just mean. It would have looked so much better on your part and I would have way less animosity if you had just called me or texted me and owned up to the fact that you either double booked yourself or forgot. S*** happens, but then you clean it up. Wasted my time and money. I hope you learn from this because it's not looking good miss girl -

Unprofessional flake
Completely stood up my wife on her wedding day. Taryn was supposed to do her makeup on the 23rd. Then chose to not show up. Not answer any phone calls or messages. She had already paid for a trial with her and went well. So this just makes no sense. Today now being the 24th she still hasn't reached out at all. Do not choose this woman for your makeup. Completely rude and disrespectful to do that. Also she has already flagged this review on yelp but still hasn't responded to my wife at all. No apology or nothing. -
