This review is long overdue. Makeup by Roxy was the absolute best! I never get my makeup done for anything, and I’m very particular about my makeup, but they listened and truly took what I said to heart! I also received a spray tan for the event and it was so natural and beautiful. The day was perfect, my makeup lasted the entire night! I looked great in my dress and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful!

I had such a wonderful experience with Makeup by Roxy. I had Meagan and Michelle do my (and my 11 other girls') hair for my wedding, and the whole process was absolutely flawless. They were professional, so kind (truly SUCH a vibe), extremely efficient, and so talented - everyone asked for different styles and they all looked so beautiful! (And they're reasonably priced, which truly doesn't hurt). I had another company do our makeup, only because it was an old friend's business, but their work for makeup is also so beautiful. I'd recommend them to anyone!

MBR’s makeup was so great — several of my bridesmaids were nervous to get professional make up after poor experiences with other companies but truly were converted after MBR — we loved Shennon and her team. In addition, MBR was able to provide an extra hair stylist for my team at the last minute which was so helpful as well. Our make up was done perfectly with plenty of time to spare!

Seamless wedding day
My son got married and the bridesmaids, grandmother of the groom, mother of the groom and the bride got make up and hair done with Make up by Roxy. We had an awesome experience with the bride's hair trial ahead of time Meg was very patient with us and made her hair look gorgeous. The day of the wedding went seamless for all of us, we just enjoyed the time getting all dolled up, and the staff Roxy, Jennifer, Meg and Kristina were very friendly and nice, are very knowledgeable and made us all feel beautiful. I would choose them again for any of our events.

So much beauty
Jessie rocked my world with the bridal look she created for me. She did one look at my trial (which was beautiful), but after wearing it all day I didn’t really feel like myself. I sent feedback to Roxy so that by the time wedding day rolled around, Jessie knew exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly. All of my bridesmaids LOVED their makeup (and my Nana loved her’s, too!) and everyone’s lasted all day. Jessie is hilarious and it always helps when your makeup artist says you look like a hot b*tch when she takes her final look. I was thrilled when I finally got to look in the mirror!
MBR also did my bridesmaids’ hairstyles and they all looked stunning…each one was so different from the other and help up all day. I would choose MBR for hair and makeup over and over again!

I could not have had a better experience with the MBR team. Throughout my engagement, they sent multiple postcards/notes/emails detailing how excited they were to work with us. Roxy herself had 10/10 communication for every step. As for the team, not only was everyone excellent at hair and makeup, but each artist was also super fun and made my wedding day better by adding to the positive atmosphere. Erin had me laughing the whole time I was getting my makeup done, and Liz made my hair look beautiful. I even changed things between my trial and official day, and they both made the exact changes I wanted to take my trial to the perfect wedding day look. All the girls loved how things came out and looked stunning. I could not recommend MBR enough!

Makeup By Roxy comes up at the top of the list whenever you search for hair and makeup vendors in PA, and there is a good reason for that - they were INCREDIBLE! I was recommended to them by one of my bridesmaids, whose hair and makeup they did for both her and her sister's weddings, and I'm so glad I chose them too. From the moment I reached out, they were so helpful and responsive, and the entire process was a breeze. My in-studio trial was so much fun, and it was so great to meet the two wonderful women who worked with me on my wedding day - Paula for makeup, and Delila for hair. On the wedding day, I had my hair and makeup done, along with hair and makeup for four bridesmaids and hair for two flower girls. Both Paula and Delila were absolutely delightful to work with and had all of us looking on our A game for the rest of the day! I am so happy that I went with Makeup by Roxy for my wedding hair and makeup! Bobbi did an amazing job and I absolutely loved how I looked. I had some pictures and told her what I thought I wanted, and she was able to put it all together flawlessly. Bobbi and Delila came to our venue to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and mom as well. Everyone was so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out, and it lasted the whole day despite being an outdoor, August wedding. They made getting ready in the morning so much fun! They had a timeline that they sent me and we were on track the entire time. We finished exactly when we needed to for pictures and they never once needed to rush. Bobbi and Delila made everything feel comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free and I am so glad that I had them there for my wedding day! The whole experience was great - from beginning to end. They even followed up with me after my trial-run to see if there were any adjustments that I wanted for the wedding day. I have worked with MBR many times and there has never been a time where I am not extremely satisfied. Roxy is extremely communicative and makes sure that you are heard. All of the stylists and artists who work alongside Roxy are incredible. You can clearly tell everyone loves what they do and it shows. Not only did they do 22 people the day of my wedding, but I am also a vendor and work along side the artists and stylists all year long on other people's wedding days. Everyone I have met that they have worked on looks amazing and is always so happy. I couldn't recommend MBR more and the love I have for everyone involved over there is beyond words!! The BEST Makeup Artists!
I hired Makeup by Roxy for my November 2021 wedding for myself and my wedding party for onsite makeup in Phoenixville, PA. They are the absolute best at what they do and I wouldn't have trusted any other company with my wedding makeup! As soon as they did the makeup for my sister's wedding in 2016, I knew that I wanted them for my eventual wedding! I hired Makeup by Roxy for my October 2021 wedding and she was simply amazing!! From our first conversation she put me right at ease! She is so organized and really thinks of everything!! I had originally done my trial with Jon, but something came up and ended up not being available the day of the wedding. Roxy called me right away and had a back plan in place!! For every wedding they have an artist unassigned for that day in case of emergency which just put me at ease! The week leading up to the wedding she sent out reminders on when to wash your hair and face before the team arrived so everything would run smoothly! All the stylists (Talia and kait) and artists (Roxy and Manahil) made each girl feel so beautiful! Everyone was raving about how the look turned out exactly how they imagined!!

I first learned of Roxy's team through a friend's wedding. I was so happy with my makeup that I booked them for my wedding. Kayte did our makeup, and she did amazing work! She made me feel comfortable in the chair and my makeup lasted all day long.
Roxy was so patient with me. There were many changes to my wedding due to Covid, and she was kind and worked with me. Not only that, but when my venue cancelled two weeks prior to my wedding, Roxy started sending me suggestions of new venues to check out. Since day one, these girls have been amazing!! Due to the pandemic we had to find a new hair/makeup company 1 month before the wedding. These girls were incredible. I absolutely love these beautiful ladies! They made the struggles of wedding planning during a pandemic easier. Roxy was there to update me and cheer me on every step of the way. Hannah, Paula, and Delia were so much fun to work with both for trials and on the day of the wedding. They listened to my girls as well as to the mothers for what they wanted for hair and makeup. Everyone was thrilled about how they looked and felt. As for me, I felt gorgeous and exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day. I recommend that if you are looking for professionals for your event to call Makeup By Roxy. You will never regret the experience. Talented, kind, ethical human beings
I could ramble all day about how positive my wedding experience was with the Roxy team. We live in Philly, but when we met Roxy we knew that her expertise was worth the distance. During my trial, Kayte masterfully realized my wish to have natural looking makeup, and Hannah was willing to try out a bunch of hairstyles until we found my dream hair (and I have a LOT of hair). The team was so helpful with me and my bridesmaids, all of whom have differing hair and makeup needs (and most of whom called before the wedding day to discuss things, and Roxy was so patient!). On wedding day, Hannah, Kayte, and Delila travelled to our hotel and were so professional and fun, and truly everyone one of my family and friends looked STUNNING.
I was fortunate enough the be the last wedding of the Roxy team prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. Their passion and genuine love of what they do is even more evident, as they clearly want to get back to doing what they do best, yet they have remained a strong team, converting their studio into a homebase for packing lunches for those suffering from the pandemic. I am so glad that we stumbled across this team of talented, kind, ethical human beings.

The email communication was timely and efficient leading up to my appointment. I had Kayte do my makeup and Hannah do my hair for a NYE wedding! Everything I asked for they exceeded my expectations! Roxy and her team are amazing! They are super talented, detail oriented, and professional. My wedding was in Ocean City, Maryland and I’m so thankful Roxy was willing to travel there for me! Amazing and easy
I had a ton of difficulty finding a hair and makeup artist for my wedding due to lack of communication, responsiveness and flexibility with number of hair/makeups needed until i found makeup by roxy. Roxy (owner) personally responds to requests in a timely manner. She is extremely organized and efficient, sends detailed information as well as texts. She is always available and responds to questions quickly. I had Bobbie jo do my hair and makeup and she is so talented, everyone loved their hair and makeup and had zero complaints. They allowed me to customize what I wanted, we had two people who wanted makeup and 6 wanted hair, which was not a problem. Save time and stress and just contact them first. Thanks so much!!!

Totally Pleased Bride
My daughter and I had our hair and makeup done for my Vow Renewal ceremony. We were super happy with the results. Bobbie Jo listened to our thoughts on how our look should be and totally nailed it. I booked Makeup by Roxy for my wedding on May 31, 2019. I booked never meeting Roxy and her team, just by seeing pictures and reviews online. I have to say that was the best decision I ever made! From the very beginning Roxy was so helpful and sweet. She had no problem answering my random text messages at 9 o’clock at night. Her team did everything in their power to make myself and my bridal party feel incredibly beautiful that day. My hair and makeup were perfect and I’m so glad I made the decision to have Roxy and her team be apart of my special day!

Roxy and Kayte were AMAZING to work with! The hair/make-up I had originally booked for my big day was unable to make it, due to the arrival of baby #1, Makeup by Roxy was her reccomendation on who to book in her place. I took her advice and reached out to Roxy and within days had her and Kayte booked for my big day! It turned out to be the best risk I took - from my original contact to my trial to the big day - they were nothing but a huge pleasure to work with! Wedding makeup and hair!
The whole team at Makeup by Roxy is AMAZING at what they do. I knew at my trial that they were going to do a stellar job once I saw them at work in the studio. Everyone kept telling me that I looked beautiful, stunning, etc the whole night, and my bridesmaids loved their makeup and hair too. Our day of team consisted of Jess, BobbieJo, Kimberly, and Marianne. Jess did my makeup and BobbieJo did my hair, and I could not be happier with how they turned out and love all of our wedding photos. Roxy is very organized and excellent with communicating. She made this whole process easy, especially when wedding planning can get overwhelming with details. I would highly recommend the Makeup by Roxy team for makeup, hair, or both! Especially for a wedding :)

Roxy and Kayte were so great through the whole process. I didn't know what I really wanted -- hair or makeup wise -- but they turned my indecision and general preferences into something beautiful. They did the same for my sisters and stepdaughter, making each of their visions come to life. They were so responsive, so friendly, and kept us on time for the big day. Both hair and makeup stayed on point for the whole day, no one wanted to take it off! Don't hesitate, don't comparison shop, just book the MBR team.

MBR team goes above and beyond
As an out of town bride, it was really challenging to find the right vendors for the day. I often had to get to know vendors via email and the phone rather than meeting them in person.
I knew right away that MBR would be a great fit. Roxy has put together and incredible and talented team! She is also always on top of dates and questions!
The team got there bright and early on the day of for 6 bridesmaids and me. I wanted to make a few adjustments from my trial and my artists wouldn't stop until they made sure I was 100% in love with my look. We actually ran ahead of schedule, what a dream!

Roxy and her team did an AMAZING job helping to plan my wedding. I have been a part of many weddings in which the hair and makeup runs late and therefore impedes with the timeline for the day. Roxy made an amazing schedule and sent 2 hair stylist and 2 makeup artists and they were on time and stayed right on schedule. All of my girls LOVED their hair and makeup and it lasted throughout the day. My hair and makeup (done by Mariah and Emily) was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Everyone said "you look like you, just jazzed up a bit" which was exactly what I wanted! Roxy even did my spray tan a few days before the wedding and it looked perfect! I highly recommend the Makeup by Roxy team for a wedding!

There’s a reason Roxy and her team have been voted the best of the best in the Lehigh Valley for several years in a row. Of all the vendor decisions I had to make, this one was a no brainer. The artistry was flawless, my bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning and the hair and makeup lasted all day/night. The communication with Roxy leading up to the wedding was amazing and every detail was ironed out, I had no concerns and everything went more than perfectly on our wedding day. Wow, Makeup By Roxy is awesome! I never got to meet Roxy, but we texted and she is such a sweetheart and very easy to talk to. She runs a great business, and the two stylists that did my hair and makeup, Emily and Jess, raved about her. Jess and Emily absolutely killed it too when doing the hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. Everyone looked stunning. Not only that, but they were also outgoing, fun, and complete aces at what they do. I got so many compliments on my look on the day of my wedding, and I owe it all to Jess and Emily. My bridesmaids all loved their looks too. If I ever need hair and makeup done for another event, I am definitely hiring them again.

I seriously do not have enough good things to say about Roxy and her team! From the moment I met Roxy, she was so welcoming and so happy to be apart of our special day. She was so reassuring and she truly believes in every single one of her team members! Edaline was my hair stylist and killed it! She knew exactly what I wanted even before I did. I just wanted to let you know that I just got my makeup done by Mel for my graduation photos and I couldn't be happier. Not only did she listen to everything I wanted, but she made recommendations of what might be better in certain lights since I am getting my photos professionally done. Mel is Picasso with a makeup brush. She is so professional, kind, and a natural born talent. You can tell that this is her gift and she was born to do makeup. I would recommend her 100 times over for anyone looking to get their makeup professionally done. I also would normally never say this, but $75 is a steal to have her do your makeup. I would probably pay up to $150 to have her personally do my makeup. She is just that good and her work can not be replicated. Thank you for your superior product and I will be coming to her again whenever I need my makeup done. I will also be recommending her and your company to everyone I know. You have a phenomenal employee who's talent far exceeded my expectations!!! Thank you

Roxy was awesome to work with, she always was on top of everything! Traveling Monday-Friday for work things would get a little crazy but Roxy would send text messages to me reminding me of anything I needed reminding of! The day of the even our make up artist, Mariah was fantastic I can’t say enough of how great everyone’s make up came out! 100% recommend!

The girls were wonderful! Everyone told me I could be on a magazine cover. My make looked great for hours on end. I definitely would recommend them!

Roxy and her team are simply amazing. There is no other way to describe their services. From my bridal trial to the big day, she was so responsive to messages and helped me achieve the perfect look. Team member Emily did all of my bridesmaids and my moms hair, and I couldn't have been happier. I will be using her to cut and color my hair as well from now on. Roxy is the sweetest and so is her team. I couldn't be happier, our makeup and hair lasted all day and night and looked amazing in photos!

Roxy is absolutely amazing. My wedding was complicated because of my dad being sick. She was ready to go whenever and however she needed to be to help. Thankfully that wasn’t needed, but the feeling that I knew she was there was so reassuring.
The day of went so smoothly. She was prompt, friendly, and every single one of my girls loved her and their makeup. I can’t recommend her enough - she’s the total package. Strangers complimented my make up - as did many people who saw pictures. It lasted all day and then some. I felt beautiful and it was all thanks to Roxy.

SO HAPPY with how I looked on the day of my wedding reception. Mariah was my makeup artist and made me look flawless. I got a gazillion (literally) comments on how great my makeup looked. I also received another gazillion comments on how great my hair looked, thanks to Mel. SO happy with this team, would highly recommend them to anyone!

I absolutely loved working with Roxy!!!! She's such a sweet and caring person. She helped me thru the whole process and really listened to what I wanted exactly. If I didn't like it, she tried something different until I was 100%. She also did a tattoo cover up for me which was amazing!!!!! It lasted for even more then my wedding and reception itself without smearing or wearing off. Those who knew of the tattoo thought I had a removal done and those that had no idea had no clue there was a tattoo underneath!!! I would recommend her to anyone and if I have anywhere else to go in the future where I need to get all dressed up, I know who to call for my make up! I can't thank her enough for completing my look on my special day! She was amazing!!!!

Roxy and team were absolutely amazing. From day one Roxy gave exceptional service, flexibility, and quality. She went above and beyond from helping me decide on a venue to adding in an extra girl day of wedding. She was able to be very accommodating matching my trial day to be the same as my shower. For my wedding prep she made a time schedule for each person well in advance which kept everyone on time. Roxy was in constant contact with me throughout planning to wedding day. Very punctual and professional. All of the girls, mother of bride & groom, and bride were given the exact look they asked for. Lastly, all of our hair and makeup stayed the whole night! Never once did I need a touch up or spray of the hair. It would be a personal loss not to go with Roxy and her team!

She is very talented and I wish I had her with me all the time to Do my make up. Her company even does amazing wedding hair. It was the last minute when I cancelled with my original hair stylist. Not only is Roxy and her ENTIRE team flexible which my schedule but the work they do is amazing! Neve have I felt more confident and beautiful in my life. I had my bridesmaids makeup done as well and OMG was it worth it. Trust me when I tell you it lasted all day and night! Through tears and sweat and it didn't feel cakey! The pictures came out beautiful. Words can't express how thankful I am to have come across makeup by Roxy. Roxy herself is amazing!! Trust me when I say this.. she is worth the price.

This team is absolutely amazing! Roxy was always quick to respond to every e-mail and text. She really develops a relationship with her clients! Kimberly, Kayte, and Jesse did a beautiful job on myself, my bridal party, and my mom. My makeup lasted on my crazy oily skin through a downpour, outdoor pictures in the rain, and a night of dancing! I would totally reccomend them to any upcoming brides!

Roxy was AMAZING! I love makeup and I am ok at doing it on myself, but I wanted it to be perfect for the actual wedding day. Roxy worked with me to get everything just right! it was a stress free experience and she was very professional and friendly with all of the girls, including my two flower girls! Loved the fact that she, and her fantastic group, travel. It made it nice and easy the day of! Would highly recommend!

Working with Makeup by Roxy, and Roxy specifically was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was concerned at first because of how far away I was from the shop-- to feel connected and that Roxy would be able to understand my vision for my wedding day. I was set right at ease from the first moment I emailed her. Questions were answered promptly, and the process was super easy and clear. Roxy made me feel at ease with her friendly sweet demeanor. What I also really appreciated was that SHE LISTENED TO ME. She didn't just do the same makeup that looks fabulous on a glamazon. She made me feel beautiful in my own skin, with my own makeup quirks and requests, etc. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my photos turned out incredible. I am so glad I booked Makeup by Roxy and would recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch professional and no hassle experience.
