Melissa came to my house and did my makeup for my pregnancy photo shoot. My makeup came out amazing and I couldn't of had a better person do it. Melissa is so friendly and nice. She did colors that made my eyes stand out. A true transformation. Thank you again.

Melissa was absolutely amazing. Not only was my make up flawless, but she really listened to me, and it showed! She was super flexible about times (I had to change a few things around toward the end) and very accommodating. She was very sweet my little girls who were interested in all of her cool supplies! I would HIGHLY recommend Melissa to friends, and I cannot wait for another even so I can see her again. Five stars!

I loved getting my makeup done by Melissa! She was a referral from a friend. She airbrushed me and I had never had that done before. It lasted the entire day and so did my lashes. She definitely gave me the look I wanted for my day. If you are nervous about hiring a makeup artist, don't be with her! I had a trial before the wedding so I knew what to expect and both times my makeup was beautiful.

Melissa is SUCH a professional - she is responsive, arrives on-time, has everything she needs and ready to get you gorgeous. She did my make -up for a black tie fundraiser (as opposed to a wedding) and made me look "special" and still natural. Loved it. Can't wait to have another "something special" for her to come and do my make up.

If you are looking for a true gem and a professional make-up artist, search no further. Melissa Bateman is a true ace. She recently did my make up for my wedding in September 2013 and did a phenomenal job. She scheduled me for a trial-run until we came up with the perfect look. She uses the best products too. Melissa is a great communicator and educated me throughout the process on the best techniques that would work best for my skin type, etc. She respected all my concerns and my photos turned out fabulous! I didn't sleep well the night before and I was worried about my puffy eyes and dark circles. Melissa is a magician! People are still raving about my photos. Melissa was great to work with. I secretly cannot wait until my next big event so I can call on Melissa!

Melissa is a sweet energetic woman that makes you feel comfortable right away. She did such an amazing job on my makeup. I would definitly use her again for any future events that I feel requires that special touch. I wish I could have her do my makeup everyday!

One word : Awesome!
A lot of the makeup artist I've worked with in the past like to tell me what I should do. Melissa listened to me and do a fantastic job. Bonus, she's very nice and the price was very reasonable! Highly reconvened!

Loved my makeup! I ogt airbrush done and it felt really light but covered what I wanted. Ive had my makeup done before by others in the past and it felt heavy and cakey and I wound up taking it off. I didn't have to worry with the airbrush - it was awesome. I really recommend Melissa - she was great!

I was so pleased with my makeup that was done by Melissa! She took her time on me and was a natural when it came to choosing colors and styles that would best suit me. It was my first time wearing fake eyelashes and I was so happy with them! I received many compliments that night and from pictures about how people thought my makeup looked so nice. I cannot wait until the next event I have to go to so I can have Melissa do my makeup! :) it will not let me click yes, but I would definitely recommend Melissa!!

Melissa did my makeup for my wedding and I loved everything about it! I found her on WeddingWire & we set up a trial beforehand. The day of the wedding she got there early which was nice- no one felt rushed. She was down to earth and very personable. She was quick and listened to what everyone in my bridal party wanted as their makeup look. They even showed her pictures and she re-created the looks for them. Thank you for helping to make my day so special! Highly recommend Melissa - she's wonderful!

I can not say enough good things about Melissa. She was phenomenal! My trial was great. She listened to me and was able to create the exact look I wanted without much guidance. She just knew what would look good. I don't know much about make-up, so having someone who was an expert was perfect! On my wedding day she recreated the perfect look and my make up stayed all day. I never had to look in a mirror. That's huge for a bride that is always on the go! I have received countless compliments on my make-up and I can't wait to see it in the photographer's photos. Thank you, Melissa for making me so beautiful on my wedding day!

Melissa also made my sister and mom's make up perfect! She was easy to talk to, responsive, punctual and all around a great artist.

Melissa was great! She did exactly what I asked for. She was on time, very nice and took her time. She told me what she was going to do before she did it and explained how it would help improve my look. Melissa is absolutely fantastic! I've used her numerous times and each time she never ceases to amaze me! She took me step by step while she was in the process of putting my makeup on. She also took in consideration what I wanted and did it exactly how I pictured it! She makes you feel and look like a princess! She's wonderful!

Melissa is absolutely the best! Melissa has done my makeup for so many events such as weddings, holiday parties and photo sessions. I recently got married and I have also been a bridesmaid in a few weddings this past year and Melissa did an amazing job on my makeup. For each event Melissa arrived on time and ready to get started with an extensive collection of makeup and application tools. Melissa also does airbrush application which is incredible! I always worry about my makeup lasting all day but my makeup looked flawless during and after each event. Every time Melissa does my makeup I get tons of compliments. Melissa is a true professional who knows how to make you feel at ease which is so important when you are getting married!! Melissa will make you feel and look beautiful on your special day. I highly recommend Melissa for makeup, you will not be disappointed!!

Melissa did the make-up for the bridal party at my sister’s wedding and did a fantastic job. We each explained how we normally wear our make-up and Melissa helped match colors, etc. that we would normally use. Everything she did looked very natural.

In fact, I have never used foundation, blush or eyelashes. I gave Melissa free reign and let her airbrush the foundation, apply blush and add fake eyelashes. All of the colors looked subtle, but beautiful. Melissa applied the fake eyelashes and she knew the right size to use so they did not feel or look fake. In fact, it never even felt like I had fake eyelashes on.

I would highly recommend Melissa. She is very professional, showed up on time, took the time to discuss what we wanted, and had every product and color available. Plus, her prices are very reasonable.

Melissa is an amazing makeup artist, her work is phenomenal. She has a ton of different makeup that she uses so I'm sure any brand you like or certain color you like, she has it... She takes her time but also makes your face look beautiful in a perfect amount of time. The makeup feels so light on your face, its not clumpy or oily or heavy. When Melissa did my makeup, she transformed my face into a beautiful canvas and I never felt prettier. I highly recommend Makeup by Melissa Bateman, you will be more then happy with her services. She is a true artist at her work.

Melissa was great! She did the makeup for me and my bridesmaids and we all LOVED it, especially how it lasted all night! Even through my emotional moments my makeup/lashes still looked flawless. She was very professional and prompt, and also had a great attitude. Melissa listened to exactly what I wanted during the trial and completely surpassed my expectations. I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Melissa for anyone's big day! =)

Melissa did an amazing job with our makeup for my brother's wedding! As a 1 person team that day she did the makeup for my sister-in-law myself and all the bridesmaids and she did equally as fabulous job from the first to the last person whose makeup was done. Her pricing is totally reasonable, she is flexible with time, and extremely personable and fun. We really enjoyed her as our makeup artist and to this day I love those pics of myself mostly bc of the makeup!! And the eyelashes are an amaaaaaazing touch and they lasted over a week, not sure if this is the norm I think they were only $20 but I enjoyed having them on that entire time :)

Melissa just did my makeup for a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in..She is just amazing!! I got compliments all night!! I came to her with a few ideas and she told me exactly what was going to work/not work for me. She was quick but thorough! Very professional and seemed to know exactly what she was talking about. I had a ton of questions and she explained everything. In the end, I was flawless! Wish I could hire her everyday!

Melissa did my makeup for my wedding. A couple weeks before my wedding, we sat down for a consultation to decide what was the best look. I wanted a natural look and I didn't want it to feel heavy. She introduced me to airbrush makeup and it was the best choice I could have made. On the day of my wedding my makeup looked beautiful! Melissa was even able to accommodate someone else in the wedding party who decided they would like their makeup done. Overall, she was extremely professional and accommodating and I would definitely choose her again in the future.

Melissa from Makeup by Melissa Bateman is the most talented makeup artist I have ever seen. Not only was she fun, she was flexible with my hours and did an amazing job. Melissa did an excellent job and made me look and feel wonderful. She was very prompt and professional. I don't tend to wear a lot of make up and she took the time to find out what colors I do and don't like. my look was very natural and she was able to do exactly what i wanted plus more. If you need someone who takes the time and care i would definitely recommend her.

Melissa was able create a magical moment for me and my family. She was hired as the make up artist for my cousin, Antoinette's wedding. Her main responsibility was the bride, the bridal party and the mother of the bride. As I was watching her turn these young plain jane gals into run way models, I asked if she would be able to do my make up as well. Without hesitation she obliged. I told her that I was looking for that " SMOKEY EYE" look.....well she did exactly what I asked but it was a million times better than I could have ever imagined.....Between the eyelashes and the beautiful colors she chose for that smokey eye look, I too was looking like a true run way model in my claret colored satin cocktail dress. The Kardashians had nothing on me that day. It felt as if the paparazzi were around because the photographer kept following me around the reception taking my picture. I have used Melissa on several different occassions since then and have her booked for two other weddings I have this summer. I have and will continue to recommend Melissa to ANYONE who wants to feel and look as beautiful as they are.....inside and out. Melissa is a true professional and performs her craft with ultimate perfection and class. You would be a fool not to use her.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and Melissa did my makeup. She arrived early and was very accomodating. I asked her for a smokey eye and it looked amazing - I got a lot of compliments that day! I was really happy my makeup stayed on all night too - I definitely recommend her!

I had an event to attend with my husband and had Melissa Bateman do my makeup. She listened to what I like and did a great job making the makeup look natural and beautiful. I had a lot of compliments on my makeup and was very happy about it.

Melissa was really great! She helped me find the line between looking like myself, without looking too crazily made-up, but still looking special for the occasion. She did exactly what I asked for, and when my bridesmaids decided last minute that they too wanted fake eyelashes, she accommodated them without complaint, even though it was not in our original plan.

Melissa was also more than happy to provide trial runs and continued to "fix" and change how things looked until I was 100% happy.

As something that people might not think about when selecting a make-up artist ... she is also a SUPER SUPER sweet, funny person! I feel like that can be totally underrated -- but who wants someone awkward or miserable with their nearest and dearest sharing their most special moments on the big day?? Melissa is a total sweetheart and joy to be around, which made the experience for me and my friends/family that much better.

Melissa treated me like a Princess on my wedding day! I had been so stressed out but she totally calmed me down and made me look amazing! My little flower girls told me I looked like a fairy princess! I couldn't thank her enough for the amazing looks she gave to me and my bridesmaids! I even treated to mother and future mother in law and had their make up done as well. We all looked beautiful and loved how she made us feel so pampered! I would HIGHlLY recommend her services and plan on using her again for my sisters upcoming wedding!
