Lory was exceptional! She’s been my H&M for years, and I wouldn’t have picked anyone else for this special occasion. She was flexible as I added my stepdaughter last minute for H&M and she didn’t disappoint, she looked absolutely stunning! She also did my mom’s H&M, she did amazing; she was patient with her and her request. That morning was caos but she didn’t disappoint my hair was perfect and my makeup as well! The overall look lasted 12 hrs!! I was sad to take it all off! Thank you Lory for the perfect look for my perfect day! -

The Best experience I’ve had!
Lory was amazing! She was flexible with location and open to meeting the party at our Airbnb! She was personable and kept me company as my nerves kicked in and had to constantly stop to regroup. She executed the make up to perfection, knowing what we wanted and was able to blend the foundation, which was always a concern because of our skin complexion. I would definitely recommend her And use her again in any future events when I’m in Puerto Rico. -

I cannot say enough good things about working with Makeup By Lory Rms for my wedding this past weekend. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful and from the moment I connected with Lory that stress went away. All my questions were answered promptly and service was provided as expected and then some! The staff on the day of our event was friendly, professional, and very flexible. I was worried with not having done a trail run of my hair and makeup but Lory executed my vision better then I could have ever imagined. You know your in love with the outcome when you see the final look and want to cry! All the women loved their looks and were impressed with all the looks! A moment I will never forget is when I walked out and seeing my fiancé face and him saying "wow babe you look good" over and over. We loved every second working with Makeup By Lory Rms. Have never felt more beautiful - Lory is amazing!
I cannot say enough good things about Lory. She and her assistant made me and my family feel so comfortable and beautiful! We all felt like she understood exactly what we were looking for and couldn't have been more happy with how our hair and make-up turned out. Lory prepared us all with a touch-up kit that was exactly what you need to take about your day. The make-up lasted ALL night - photos were glam from start to finish.
Lory was flexible with some additions we made after our initial contract and was always so lovely and easy to communicate with over email.
I was not able to visit Puerto Rico for a trial ahead of the wedding and I didn't need one.. she nailed it!

Lory was absolutely incredible! Planning a destination wedding without getting to do a trial had me feeling nervous, but she completely exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable.
She made me and all my bridesmaids look amazing! The hair and makeup lasted all night long—even the flowers in my hair stayed in place until I took them out myself. Her attention to detail was unmatched; she even tried on three different sets of lashes before finding the perfect ones for me, which I truly appreciated.
I don’t usually wear much makeup and was worried that a heavy look wouldn’t suit me. I expressed my concerns, and she nailed it, creating a look that made me feel beautiful and bridal without feeling overdone. My makeup was flawless, and her work didn’t cause any issues with my eczema, which was a huge relief.
Everyone raved about how gorgeous they looked the next day. Even certain people that are notoriously hard to please, said Lory’s work was far better than the last wedding she attended where she had professional hair and makeup done. That compliment speaks volumes!

5/5 stars!! I booked Lory for her hair and makeup services for my destination wedding in PR, and I can easily say that choosing Lory was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! She did my hair exactly as I asked for and my makeup was so stunning. I wasn't able to do a trial run with Lory, which did make me nervous, but I had nothing to worry about. Her work is beautiful and hair/makeup skills are top tier! Lory and her team were able to do all hair types, from straight to very curly, and everyone was so happy with their results. She also did an amazing job color matching foundation to match everyone’s skin tones, which I know can be tricky when looking for a MUA. She was on-time, very affordable, and so much fun! I literally don't have the words to describe how great my experience was!
I had a destination wedding in Puerto Rico. Because it was destination, I never did a trial before the day of my wedding. But, my hair and makeup was absolutely everything I would have ever wanted! I looked amazing thanks to Lory. She was prepared, proactive, and easy to communicate with.
Additionally, she is great at working with long, thick, curly hair!

Lory is amazing!
My fiancé & I decided to do our engagement photoshoot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Our photographer recommended a few make up artists, Lory was one of those people, when I saw her Instagram I knew right away she was going to do an amazing job. When we met Lory, she gave us such a welcoming, & warm energy. She made me feel super comfortable, and really paid attention to my inspiration but also added her own creative flare to my makeup look. Lory is so so talented, she also can do hair, I have big, frizzy hair & the day we decided to take photos was super humid & rainy.. I have to say my hair held up so well, my hair truly was so beautiful. I felt like a princess with my hair and make up done. I really recommend her to any person getting married in Puerto Rico, or even having their photos done. You will NOT be disappointed. I loved Lory so much, that me and my fiancé are even thinking of flying her out to our destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. -

Lory made me feel amazing and look so beautiful! I knew I wanted to have Lory as my makeup artist ever since I did the hair & make up test. She is so skillful at hair and make up and did what I wanted based on the inspo photos and everything turned out way better than I expected it the day of the wedding. She also helped me narrow down the make up as I had a couple different ideas and took in consideration what I liked and didn't like. She is communicative, responsible, punctual, and flexible. Days before the wedding she sent clear instructions on how to prepare the skin and hair, and recommendations on what clothing to wear. She is so easy to get along with and was just a joy to have her on my team. The make up and hair lasted all day and night, even after lots of dancing!! -

One Woman Wonder

Patient, diligent, flexible (thanks to a mid-day suite move after our hotel messed up!). Doing my hair with Lory was one of the highlights of our wedding. She and her assistant are truly amazing, professional, and so talented. We had done a trial with my hair straight, but a couple of days before the wedding, I told her I was learning to embrace my natural curls and felt I might want to wear my hair curly instead. She was so accommodating and made me feel beautiful. Before, I had always been told by hairdressers that I needed to wear my hair straight to look better, but Lory was so caring and quickly jumped to the task with no issue and clear plan. I could not be happier with the results. All the bridesmaids loved their hair as well.

Lory is amazing at what she does. She reviewed with me in a timely manner what kind of hair and makeup I wanted and she MORE than delivered. I'm more of an eccentric bride and had fantasy color hair and wanted dramatic makeup, but she also works very beautifully with natural and soft looks.
My makeup and hairstyle turned out absolutely amazing (It's got 800+ likes on a fantasy hair color group on Facebook). Lory expressed to me that she does not like to change dramatically the face when she does makeup, but that she likes to do makeup in such a way that the person feels and looks completely comfortable with herself and she performs this flawlessly. She is a very interesting person to talk to, and we just gabbed the time away for most of the time that she was working on my face and hair. In the end, she gave me a little touchup kit, which included a nice mirror, eyelash glue, oil-absorbing blotting papers, some extra lipstick, and a wipe to remove makeup. Lory did an amazing job with hair and makeup for me, three bridesmaids, and my mother - everyone looked stunning for the wedding! Lory was very easy to communicate with before the event and she is super professional. I really enjoyed working with Lory and her team. They were punctual, professional and worked so well with my bridal party. I was a little nervous because I’ve never had profesional makeup done but Lory did an exceptional job. My make up lasted the ENTIRE night! We all looked and felt beautiful. Best and sweetest makeup artist!
Lory is such an amazing makeup artist, and is also the kindest person! Lory did my makeup for our love story pictures and on the day of my wedding for myself, my maid of honor, and my brothers’s girlfriend. We all asked for completely different looks and she and her assistant nailed every single one, from the makeup to the hair. Not only that, but our makeup was able to withstand the Puerto Rican heat and humidity. Also, I cried so much during the ceremony I was worried after for the pictures, and when I asked my husband he confirmed my makeup was still perfect! Not only that, we had such a great time getting ready with them on the day. It was really fun and relaxing, we laughed a lot, and we were ready to go super ahead of schedule. If your having a destination wedding, it can be a very stressful thing trying to find a make up artist. Lory and her team were absolutely amazing! Lori is super professional, fun, and everything you want in a make up artist. We were able to bond and she felt like a part of my crew by the end of our time together.

Working with Lory was a dream come true. I had some changes to my bridal party, and last minute I needed hair and makeup for 3 people. I reached out to Lory and in no time, we had a contract signed!
Lory is so sweet, kind, calm, and professional which is exactly what I needed on my big day. She showed up right on time and set up all of her equipment like a true professional.
As for the hair and makeup? I was blown away. My mother in law and bridesmaids looked gorgeous. They shared their hair and makeup inspiration pictures and Lory recreated it beautifully.

Lory was terrific! Loved my makeup and hair. After trying an updo at the trial I opted for wearing it down at the time of the wedding and she was so understanding and flexible. The makeup lasted all day, surviving a Noon wedding, a photo shoot in old San Juan mid day in hot temps, and a reception that didn't start until 7pm! She is kind, fun and has a true eye for what suits your complexion, eye shape and bone structure. An artist indeed! I wish I had pictures to post to show what I mean! Love her and her assistant!
