Lark is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about her. As someone who never wears a full face of makeup, I was very anxious about my wedding look. I wanted to look like myself but elevated, natural but different from the everyday. And Lark did a beautiful job! She took my feedback and thoughts from my trial and crafted a look on the day that was better than anything I could have hoped for. I felt beautiful, confident, and entirely myself. It didn’t feel like I was wearing anything at all, it held perfectly through tears and sweaty dancing, and it flawlessly matched our venue and the feel of our wedding.
Lark was also a calming, fun, and positive presence on a day that was full of emotion for us. She helped me feel grounded and pampered in the midst of lots of activity and hubbub.
We highly recommend her-thank you, Lark!

Lark is truly something special. She did my makeup for my wedding and did an outstanding job! She took the time to understand my features, my comfort level, and what I actually wanted to feel like walking down the aisle. The result was so much better than I even imagined: soft, glowy, and timeless. I felt confident and beautiful, but still completely like myself.
She was also just such a calming, grounding energy to have in the room on a busy wedding morning. She was kind, professional, and never once rushed. She kept everything running smoothly and made sure every person (bridesmaids, moms, everyone) looked and felt amazing.
One of the things that stood out most? She handed me a personalized little touch-up kit before I left for the venue. It had everything I might need: lip color, blotting papers, even a blending sponge and I ended up using it more than once throughout the night. It was such a thoughtful detail that showed how much she genuinely cares.
If you’re looking for a sign to book Lark, do it. She’s so talented and will make you look and feel your best! -

Wonderful!
It was wonderful to work with Lark! She is very communicative and professional. I’m lucky I was able to book with her, since it was last minute. I booked her for my wedding makeup and WOW, I was blown away with her talent. She also worked on my mom, mother-in-law, and my maid-of-honor, and they looked absolutely stunning! Wedding Makeup
I had a wonderful experince with Lark! She is so professional and everything was clearly communicated and outlined from the start. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for my wedding and she was able to make it come to life. I felt so beautiful! I was very stressed about finding the perfect makeup artist and I got SO lucky! Lark is an amazing person and it was so relaxing the morning of the wedding to just chat with her while she did my makeup. I would HIGHLY recommend her, she made the whole process so easy and stress free which was exactly what I needed! -

Lark is the best makeup artist ever!!! She made my makeup look incredibly natural and glowy, and it lasted throughout the entire event! Everyone at the event asked who my makeup artist was and loved the look so much! Despite me running late to my appointment, she perfected my look even with the little time she had. Recently, I had my wedding, and I can say Lark is genuinely talented, but more importantly, she listens to what you want and can make it happen. I had the pleasure of having Lark do my makeup for my wedding. The preview set the tone- she helped me get quiet and create clarity around my bridal look. Lark encouraged me and helped link my vision to make up styles. I felt I was able to have my preferred vintage aesthetic, yet still felt timeless and current as she added input and options to highlight my attributes.
The day of the wedding, my time in the chair with Lark was grounding and rejuvenating. She was gentle with me as all my other responsible that morning were trying to take over. There was a softness and ease to her creating my look that helped calm my nerves that I never would have expected from my make up artist but it was a true joy to have my time in her make up chair with her on my big day. When I started searching for a makeup artist for my wedding, Lark came highly recommended by 3 different professional makeup artists that I had reached out to about availability. She did not disappoint! She did my makeup, as well as my bridesmaids and mothers of the bride & groom, and everyone raved about her artistry. She listened, and knew how to make each individualized according to wants, and the makeup lasted all night long. She took detailed notes from the trial and made every tiny adjustment we had talked about. She absolutely killed it! -

Lark was one of the highlights of my wedding day. As someone who does not regularly wear a lot of makeup, I knew I wanted a professional to help me on the day, but I was nervous I wouldn't feel like myself. Lark did such an amazing job. It was a true glow-up; I felt like myself, but just sparklier. Plus, she kept the vibe calm and fun during the morning, which is exactly what I needed. I also appreciated just how organized she was. I was so apprehensive about finding a makeup artist for my wedding day because I am super particular about how I do my makeup and I didn't want to break the bank. After searching for artists, my mom & I came across Lark's webpage. Immediately I was impressed with her variety of work & felt good vibes. After reaching out, we booked my bridal trial & I loved it! Lark was very responsive and insightful in selecting colors suitable for your skin tone. After the trial I had a few changes I wanted to make for the wedding & Lark was more than accepting! The day of the wedding, Lark arrived early & was extremely professional and welcoming! She stayed on schedule & was able to create beautiful makeup looks for myself, my mom & two bridesmaids! She helped keep me calm and relaxed. The makeup was stunning & lasted all day, even through 98 degree weather! Thank you for everything Lark! -

Professional, great listener, and very talented!
It was such a great experience having my makeup done by Lark for myself and my bridesmaids. She listed to each of us and our likes, and worries (most of us had never had professional makeup or eyelash extensions before) and created looks that were true to each of us while looking cohesive. So many guests commented on how beautiful the makeup looked! I can't thank Lark enough for her flexibility, calm, and professionalism. It made the getting ready process a fun and relaxing experience which set the right tone for the entire day :) And, wow! that makeup had staying power through a couple of bouts of happy tears, eating, and drinking! It was perfect! -

Lark was so fun to work with, and she really listened to what I wanted! She let me show her pictures of what I had in mind, and listened to my input after our trial-run. She worked around my schedule to make sure that I was able to do a trial while visiting Colorado, and was willing to wake up at 3am to come get me all fixed up for my sunrise elopement! She's funny, easy-going, and VERY talented. She made me feel absolutely beautiful and my make-up lasted all day, through hiking, sweating, mountain-top winds, and crying!! I highly recommend her! -

My wedding day would not have been the same without Lark. She is extremely talented and an amazing makeup artist. I felt so comfortable, confident and beautiful with her makeup, and it held up throughout the whole night. Lark is absolutely amazing! She did my makeup for my bridal boudoir session and my wedding. She's professional, kind, and a wonderful listener. I loved having someone so authentic, genuine, and sweet on my wedding vendor team! My makeup was gorgeous for my boudoir session and lasted long after the shoot. Makeup on the wedding day was absolutely PERFECT- elegant, breathable, and showed up just right in photos. Same for my bridesmaids! Lark was so wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was responsive, organized, and just generally delightful. I’m sure there are a lot of talented make up artists in the Denver area, but here are a few things that really set Lark apart.
- After our trial we wanted a few tweaks to our looks, and Lark was totally on board. I was nervous to give feedback, but she was super receptive.
- We are a gay couple, and even though it’s 2021, it can be a little nerve wracking finding “cool” wedding vendors. Lark was completely wonderful!
- We had a couple of people in our party (my partner included) who wanted more minimal/less feminine looks. Lark and Jordan knocked this out of the park and really helped everyone feel like themselves (while also looking amazing).
- Lark and Jordan were such good vibes to have around on the big day. They’re both so kind, funny, and really easy to talk to!

Lark was amazing!
Lark was a dream to work with. She is exceptionally talented at what she does, and really made everyone look absolutely amazing on our wedding day. She was so flexible when we had two last minute cancellations and she showed up at 6:15 on the dot ready to roll. Not to mention she has a fantastic sense of humor and really is engaged with whoever is sitting in her chair. 12/10 would recommend. -

Lark was absolutely amazing and willing to accommodate all needs! I (the bride) have very sensitive skin and can only use certain products. She was more than willing to work with me and made me look absolutely beautiful! Lark is passionate about making sure you already know how beautiful you are and listening to what you need to feel special. As someone who is novice with make-up, I felt completely comfortable asking her questions and collaborating with her on my wedding day look. I loved my makeup from both events. She did a beautiful job! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made it happen. She even covered my darker patches of skin! She was a perfect fit for getting ready with all my ladies and made everyone feel comfortable, especially the moms! We learned we even have a lot in common. Lia Sent on 11/06/2017I hired Lark after being a bridesmaid in another wedding where she was the makeup artist. I was having such a difficult time finding a perfect fit in a makeup artist for my big day, as I was trying to stay natural looking and not made up in a way that I would be unrecognizable or feel not natural. I had 3 or 4 trials before meeting Lark, and none of them had my fiance too excited. When he saw me as a bridesmaid, the first thing he said to me is why can't you do your makeup like that for the wedding?! I decided to hire her then and didn't look back! She was professional, thorough, and took exactly what I wanted and made it a reality. I LOVE the way her work photographed and I am so grateful I found her! I will upload a photo of both my bridesmaid makeup and wedding makeup, so you can see her range of talents! I would wholeheartedly recommend Lark!

She is amazing!
I had booked a different makeup artist for my wedding, and that artist had to cancel a week before my wedding because her daughter tested positive for COVID. I found Lark last minute through a makeup artist referral chain, and I am so thankful I did. She was gracious enough to move a different appointment that same day so she could have time to be the makeup artist for my wedding. She was extremely responsive, understanding, kind, and thorough. And even in being thorough she didn't send one extra email that didn't need to be sent, knowing the week prior to the wedding would be stressful. She traveled to Twin Lakes, CO and found my Airbnb (despite me giving her the address to a different airbnb down the street that a family member was staying in *facepalm*) and had great procedures for COVID to make sure we were all safe. She was calm on the day of, listened to each person she provided makeup to, and finished right on time for each person, even if that person was being particular. :) She also found time to provide lashes to a person that didn't let her know in advance. I loved the way my makeup turned out, and it lasted all day and night. And this is coming from someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup-- I usually feel like a clown when I wear foundation. She really gave me the natural look that I wanted. Also, she provided me with tools to touch up my makeup throughout the day. I can't say enough good things about Lark. If you're looking for a makeup artist for any occasion, Lark is your girl. -
