Brilliant and professional bridal makeup artist!
I got married on June 9th, 2023 in Chicago, and Krissy came out to complete my makeup, along with my bridal party (5 girls) and both mothers. Krissy was EXCEPTIONAL! I was referred to her by a friend who informed me she specializes in bridal makeup, and I would agree! Krissy was flexible, informative, fun, sweet & talented! Not to mention, Krissy's pricing was within budget, and I could not believe it! I completed my trial a month before the wedding and Krissy helped me make some decisions, while making sure I was 100% completely satisfied with my wedding day look.
The day of the wedding she completed my makeup the exact same as the trial! All of my bridesmaids were beyond satisfied with their makeup, as well as both moms. She took her time and assisted me the day of with perfecting our timeline/order for services and helped to calm me down when the wedding nerves hit. I would hire Krissy again in a heartbeat!!! Also, she referred me to the stylist that did my bridal hair - which was fantastic!

The Best of the Best!
Let me first start off by saying that I was completely against having a makeup artist for my wedding. It was my fear that I wouldn’t look like myself on the wedding day since my idea of glam makeup is wearing light-colored eye shadow. I also had a HUGE fear of fake eyelashes. I had visions of them ripping my real lashes out! Haha 🤣
I stumbled upon Krissy’s page and decided to email her with my irrational makeup fears. Thinking that there’s no way that this incredibly skilled professional would waste her time with just an inquiry, I was shocked to see that she actually emailed me back the very next day. She sent a very detailed, warm, and honest response and put my mind at ease. I immediately booked her!
What I think sets Krissy aside from all the other makeup artists in the area is her ability to do very subtle, natural makeup to very full-glam, bold makeup. She truly listens to her clients and works diligently with them to ensure they’re 1000% comfortable and ecstatic with their look.
Krissy made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my entire life, and she made my mama and girls feel so incredibly gorgeous. I truly don’t know how I can ever thank her for that priceless gift!!! 💞💞💞 She is truly THE BEST!!! 😍 -

I honestly do not even know where to begin when describing the amount of talent Krissy possesses as a make up artist. Krissy has done my make up previously, and between looking flawless then and all the incredible pictures of stunning make up she has done on brides, I knew I could have no one but her for my own wedding!! For someone who is constantly self conscious and hates how my face looks in all pictures, I couldn't get over how much I wanted to keep looking at myself on my wedding day. Krissy is the purest of souls and strives to make every single person feel like their best self through the beauty of make up. She was overly accommodating, truthful, helpful, and such a positive person in my wedding planning experience. She made me and every single person in my bridal party look and feel flawless! I will never get over how perfect she is! Krissy, you are a true artist! Your talent exceeds all expectations. Thank you for making me feel beautiful and giving my husband relief that I actually LOVED how I looked in pictures rather than retaking them from different angles (because guurrrlll, I looked amazing from all angles)! Your talent exceeds all expectations! I recommend you 100 times over! There is no one who has as much talent, knowledge, and most importantly heart in the make up industry! It as such a blessing to have Krissy do my wedding day makeup. From the initial email to the big day, she was nothing short of wonderful. While she is incredibly talented, she goes out of her way to make sure your vision comes to life. I was (admittedly) a very picky bride, but she was nothing but patient & accommodating.

Krissy is such a beautiful and kind soul! I found her by happenstance on Facebook before I was even engaged and knew she was going to be my makeup artist. She does beautiful work. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I owe a lot of that to Krissy. I wasn’t the only one to feel that way. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law all felt they same way! She is so gracious and talked to every single one of us, explained what she was doing, and made each of our makeup our own. Anytime I need my makeup done for any reason, I will be reaching out to her. If you chose Krissy as your makeup artist, you will be making the best decision!-

I had the most amazing experience with Krissy! I was referred to her by my photographer and after looking at Krissy’s work on Instagram I knew I wanted to book her! During my make up trial, I could tell within the first few minutes that being a makeup artist isn’t just a job for Krissy, it’s truly her passion! I had 13 people to get ready for my wedding, Krissy helped secure a second makeup artist and they were able to get all my girls and moms makeup done in enough time for even final touch ups! Some girls and my mom don’t wear a lot of makeup and we’re hesitsnt about getting a full face of makeup put on but not only did they look great after getting their makeup done they felt felt great without feeling it was too much for them! I also felt amazing, and my makeup lasted the entire wedding even in the 95 degree heat! -

Krissy is so talented and so down to earth. Made me feel so beautiful. Was one of the best days in my life! She made all of my wedding party feel so special. As a mother of the bride, I had not felt so good about myself in a long time. Beauty does come from the inside but it sure feels god to feel it on the outside sometimes too! The compliments were overwhelming. Krissy makes you so stunning that you feel so confident and pretty all day long. The makeup could last for days. Krissy is so personable and makes you feel so special. She gives each and every girl her full attention and takes her time to deliver perfection. After 7 straight hours on her feet she still was willing to give touchups to anyone before she left. She is the best! Thanks Krissy! She deserves 10 stars out of 5. -

Krissy is amazing, and I definitely recommend you book her! She is so talented and knows exactly how to tailor your makeup to your personal style! I usually don’t wear much makeup, so I wanted something more natural. I couldn’t believe who I was looking at in the mirror! All my bridesmaids, my mom and the mother of the groom got makeup done by Krissy and everyone looked fantastic! At the end of the night, it was amazing how our makeup still looked flawless! Where do I even start? From the moment I met Krissy i felt very comfortable and instantly loved her. Not only is she a master at her craft, she is just a joy to be around. I LOVED having Krissy be apart of our wedding day! Always on time (early) and had all 7 bridesmaids and moms done way ahead of schedule. She made me feel comfortable and confident in my own skin...I felt like myself 100% and bridal. When it came for her to give her professional opinion, she did it with grace and I'm so glad she did! I did not have to worry for a second about the makeup coming off, even on a 95 degree day. Absolutely LOVED having Krissy. One of the easiest decisions I made for our wedding. -

I had the most amazing experience working with Krissy on my wedding day! She is absolutely wonderful and does such a phenomenal job. She is truly gifted at making each individual look naturally beautiful. I love wearing makeup, but hate when it looks caked on, fake, or too much.....especially for my wedding day. I felt I had the perfect amount of makeup on my wedding day, and felt so beautiful. Myself, bridesmaids, and my mom/ MIL got many compliments on our makeup throughout the day. Multiple people commented on how talented Krissy was, and she made us all look naturally beautiful. One of these came from my half sister who is a wedding planner at a 5-star and very ritzy hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida. If you want professional makeup that lasts all day and done by one of the coolest women ever, book Krissy V! She was absolutely incredible and so much fun to be around. She did my makeup, my 4 bridesmaids, and my mother. She listened to each girl's ideas and makeup comfort levels. Everyone looked amazing! I have medium to sever acne plus acne scars. Krissy was able to cover everything perfectly! My makeup was flawless, never smudged, and was comfortable to wear all day. -

If you are looking for a great make up artist, Krissy is it!! In the past, I have always hated getting my make up done because I never felt like myself or I felt that I looked like a clown. I cannot express enough gratitude or praise this amazing woman enough for all that she did to make our wedding day so special. Krissy has been so easy to work with and she consistently goes above and beyond as a makeup artist. She was even a tremendous help with suggesting other vendors and sent me a list of vendors she approved (photographers, DJs, videographers, florists and even who applies the best spray tan-Maureen!). Knowing that she has been in the industry for so long and knows the good and the bad made me confident in choosing from vendors that I know she trusted. She is such a beautiful person and she has such a beautiful soul. She genuinely cares about every single individual she works with and makes it her top priority to make each of them feel and look absolutely beautiful. The quality of her work and make up is top of the line. She does not just do the "cookie cutter" approach when applying make up- she tailors it specifically to the bride, family and bridal party based on their unique features. My mom, mother in law and entire bridal party absolutely LOVED her! Krissy is very approachable if you want to change anything and she will go the extra mile until she achieves perfection as she wants you to look and feel your very best. Through crying, sweating and pure exhaustion of a wedding day- the make up stays exactly the way it did when she first applied it. Absolutely no smudging, fading or sign of any imperfection. I woke up the next morning still feeling just as beautiful with the make up she applied. Hands down she is the BEST in the chicagoland area. I was so blessed to have met her and to become a lifelong friend with her. Without pause or hesistation I would recommend her to everyone to ensure they have just as an amazing experience as I did :) THANK YOU KRISSY!! -

Krissy is one of the most beautiful people I know inside and out. I have known her for many years and had her for many of the weddings I have been a part of in the past 5 years. Besides the fact that you are one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out, you are talented beyond words. Every time I sit down in your chair, from our engagement photos to our wedding day, I stand up feeling more beautiful than every imagined. I give a little input on the colors I like only to say "whatever you think is best" and oh my do I get 'the best'. Completely flawless makeup that enhances my best features. Matt still tells me how amazing my eyes looked on our wedding day. She was so amazing, she came to my house (in the middle of a snow storm none the less) and I did an amazing job with all of us. Krissy did my make-up for my wedding along with 12 other people in my bridal party all by herself and everyone looked fabulous! On my daughter's wedding day we had Krissy do our makeup. As the mother of the bride, I received so many compliments on how beautiful my makeup looked. I was told by many people that next to the bride, I was the 2nd most beautiful person there. I never expected to receive so many compliments. Krissy was wonderful to work with. She asked each one of us what look we wanted and how we wore our makeup and what colors did we normally wear. She told us if we did not like something, she would change it. But no one did. Krissy really worked with my scheduled to have my trail done. She went beyond my expectations when I had my wedding trail. Krissy did all of my bridesmaids and mother for my wedding. Krissy is absolutely the BEST makeup artist in the NW Indiana/Chicago area. I spoke with a wedding planner in the beginning of my planning process, and her #1 advice was to book Krissy ASAP. I read all the reviews, I heard from many people how good she was, but I really believed it after my makeup trial. My makeup was natural, beautiful and long lasting. She did my mom's makeup too and my said she hadn't felt that pretty in years! My wedding day makeup was flawless. I had soooo many compliments. The best part is the makeup lasted all night, not a single touch up needed besides lip gloss. I had to leave early the next morning for my honeymoon, and I didn't have time to get ready, so I kept my bridal makeup on and it lasted well into the next day! I can not say enough about how amazing Krissy is. She goes above & beyond to make everyone feel beautiful. She not only made me beautiful on my Wedding Day along with my girls & mom but she also did my trial for our Engagement session & helped me pull off a surprise Boudoir shoot for my Husband as his Wedding Gift. Krissy did an Amazing job! Everyone looked so beautiful! I even had a bridesmaid that cried because she looked so beautiful!! She traveled to meet us at our hotel and then moved to our venue, she was very flexible with what I needed. She stayed in constant contact with me and provided me with a trail run to make sure everything was perfect the day of! She was very professional and very personable! I will defiantly be back, next time I need my makeup done and would suggest her to anyone!! She's the best! -

I loved the services she provided,,, She did my makeup as a bride... I felt I couldn't look better. She did my mother and mother inlaw as well and they both looked great. Krissy was wonderful to work with! Not only is she an extremely talented makeup artist, but she is also so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable! At my wedding makeup trial, I was able to be honest and tell Krissy if I didn't like something, and she was quick to change it. On the day of my wedding, Krissy applied my makeup perfectly! I have never felt more beautiful. Even some of my bridesmaids who originally opted out of makeup, changed their minds to get a full face application. Not to mention, I had 9 bridesmaids and Krissy was able to accommodate all of them! If you are looking for a makeup artist, I HIGHLY recommend Krissy! You won't regret it :) -

You were extremely professional and came extra early to fit all the girls in. Even though it was early you still had a smile on your face and ready to go. I've been in quite a few weddings now as a bridesmaid & I've had my make-up done in the past where I look like a china doll, nothing matched, etc. Krissy's make-up is flawless, and so on my big day I wouldn't use anyone else!
