I was initially very skeptical and even considered doing my own makeup for my wedding and reception because I was worried about looking overly done or not like myself. I had never had my makeup professionally done before, and I didn’t even have time for a trial session, which made me even more nervous.
But Kushboo was incredibly reassuring from the start. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel confident that she could bring my vision to life—and she absolutely did. The entire experience was seamless and so comfortable. I loved how my makeup turned out; it enhanced my features without ever feeling heavy or unlike me.
My hairstyle—a long floral braid—was stunning and got so many compliments (everyone called me Rapunzel!). Most importantly, I felt calm, confident, and completely like myself throughout the day.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Kushboo to anyone looking for professional makeup—she truly knows how to make you look and feel your best. -

Khushboo was very professional and easy to work with. She listened to my requests, delivered as requested, and had a very calm presence on an otherwise stressful day. Her communications were always quick and clear. She arrived on time to get started. I tried two other makeup artists before discovering her and was immediately impressed by my trial.
She created a makeup look that lasted all day despite copious amounts of dancing and movement. I would recommend her a hundred times over. Thanks for making me feel so beautiful on my big day! -

Khushboo is amazing!!! She is an incredibly talented hair and makeup artist. She brainstorms with you in the beginning for the big day, and works efficiently yet thoroughly. I didn’t have enough time to do a trial with her, but the way that Khushboo ended up doing my face, eyes and hair was flawless! She knew exactly what would look good for my skin. Everyone was complimenting her work throughout the night, it was better than I could have imagined. Every bride should work with Khushboo! -

I had a wonderful experience working with Khushboo for my Sikh wedding! From the very beginning, she was professional, warm, and flexible with timing. We connected ahead of the big day to discuss my vision, and it was so reassuring to have that conversation beforehand. Her Instagram portfolio was incredibly helpful in showing the range and quality of her work, and it made me feel confident in her skills.
On the wedding day, Khushboo arrived promptly and was fully prepared. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure I felt comfortable and happy with the look. My makeup, hair, and dupatta draping were absolutely beautiful—exactly what I had envisioned. Everything was done on time, and I was ready well before the ceremony started. Her ideas were so valuable, helping to create a unique and special look for each event. She was very professional, responsive and extremely flexible around my tight schedule of events, which I greatly appreciated. Best MUA I’ve worked with, made my dream wedding a reality .
Khushboo did my makeup, draped saree and jewelry for my wedding. I was really stressed finding a MUA that’ll match my style will also be available within such a short notice. And when I found khushboo she felt like a blessing. From the beginning she was really helpful and flexible. Even though she was busy on the day of my event she assured me she can help me get ready. Her calm and assured voice and the way she explained everything with me was really helpful. She was professional but also friendly and didn’t ignore even any small concern. Khusbhoo did my sister's makeup, saree draping, and hair for her engagement ceremony and party. Khusbhoo was extremely professional and responsive from the beginning. She arrived right on time and did my sister's make up exactly the way she wanted - a sophisticated and elegant look that wasn't too over the top. She also handled my sister's saree, which was somewhat heavy with sequences all over, with ease and experience. The saree was neatly and professionally pleated and draped. My sister didn't want a lot done with her hair and Khusbhoo was able to do the simple style and added a little flourish with one of her flower hair clips. Overall, I would highly recommend Khushboo - she is professional, listens to her clients and delivers! -

Kushboo did an amazing job getting me ready for all my events during my wedding. She did the sangeet, ceremony, and reception (3 events in two days!). Work with her so she knows what you want and she can deliver. Her makeup and dressing were particularly fabulous, and I felt like such a queen on my wedding day! Kushboo is so friendly, easy to work with, and most importantly, good at what she does.
If I had any criticism at all, I would say my hair could have been more securely tied for the reception event and dancing like a loon… However, I want to be fair and say I have curly, thick hair that reaches to my butt and I’m very particular in terms of heat and products (because, curls… if you don’t have curly hair, you probably have no idea what I mean and can ignore this part..) amazingly, the hairstyles attached to this review (not reception), Kushboo did without heat or product. And they stayed so well too! She was the only stylist who worked with me and my diva hair requests instead of pushing for a more traditional approach. I appreciated that so much— it was more important to me to have that flexibility and willingness to experiment than it was to have perfectly coiffed hair- and it still looks stunning too!
I would definitely recommend Kushboo for your wedding events or any events. Overall, she did an amazing job and I loved working with her.

Great south Asian makeup artist
Finding a south Asian makeup artist in our area is easier than it used to be but still difficult. Khushboo stands apart because she's the full package. She can do makeup, hair and dupatta setting if needed. I grew up in this area but don't live here anymore. Even from far away, she was very helpful, responsive, and even referred me to other vendors if I asked.
She listened to my makeup preferences and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Natural but still bridal makeup, hair was perfect and dupatta was exactly what I wanted. And she's timely and very efficient. She did all three of those services very well and in 2 hours no less. That's incredible.
I would recommend Khushboo to anyone looking in the area. -

Khushboo did everything possible to make me look exactly as I envisioned for my wedding. She scheduled a call in advance to discuss the look I wanted, and took inspiration pictures I sent her and recreated them perfectly. Her henna, makeup and hair services are all of top quality and for a very reasonable price. She is professional, courteous and friendly, and worked tirelessly along with her assistant to make sure myself and my closest family (all 9 of us!) were ready for the event. I would very highly recommend Khushboo for any special occasion that requires such services! -

Khushboo did a great job listening to what I wanted and was very flexible when I wanted to make adjustments. She was sweet, professional and had a very calming demeanor which I know will come in handy at the wedding. Cannot wait for the wedding day and my final look! -
