Make up artist

Could not have asked for a better make up artist for my wedding! Kara was so nice and fit in with my girls so wonderfully for my wedding morning. She listened to each girls requests regarding how heavy or light they wanted their make up and everyone looked absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend :)

If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Kara was truly amazing. She made my girls and I feel absolutely beautiful for my wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From emails to phone calls or text, she got right back to me. Not only was she professional, she is super personable and really helped to ease my nerves the day of my wedding. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone who needs makeup services. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did to help make our wedding perfect.

Exceptional!

I got married a month ago and couldn’t have been more thrilled with how my makeup came out. Kara Kamrowski did an outstanding job!!!! I can’t say enough about her work and her attention to detail. She is so easy going to work with, extremely friendly and has great ideas when it comes to makeup application. She clearly has a natural talent when it comes to bringing out the beauty in each person she works with without making them look artificial. My Mom, sister, bridesmaids and I all Absolutely LOVED our makeup on my wedding day. So many of our guests and friends wanted to know who did the makeup. She really made all of us look very fresh, soft and natural. It was a hot humid day in August and my ceremony was outside. Kara’s makeup held up great the entire night. Her airbrushing skills are right on and she blends the makeup to your skin perfectly so there is no caked on appearance. Her attention to detail when it comes to working on eyes and eyebrows in particular was excellent. She knows exactly what colors to use and how to apply it to enhance the natural beauty for each face. My bridesmaids and I could not get over how good the final product looked. We loved it! We all ended up going with the fake eyelashes that felt comfortable the entire day. Kara really takes the time to get to know each person. She was very professional and went the extra mile to make sure that each person was pleased with their makeup and felt good. I think one of my aunt’s summed it up perfectly at the end of the night when she said Kara did an awesome job making me look beautiful on my big day by enhancing my natural features while also making me still look like me. I would highly recommend her!

Knowledgeable & Friendly!

Kara was quick at responding to my somewhat last minute request for my elopement!
She welcomed me into her beautiful home, introduced me to her family and very cute dog, and provided very professional service in a timely manner. Kara is easy to talk to and makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. I would recommend her to anyone and will use her for future events. Thank you Kara!

Kara did a fantastic job making myself and my wedding party feel beautiful on my wedding day! She took into consideration the different types of makeup that everyone wanted as well as the ages of everyone. The fact that we a were able to get affordable airbrushed makeup for an end of June wedding was important to me as a bride so no one would feel like their makeup was caked on and sweating off. We all danced the night away and looked great throughout all of it, thank you Kara!

Unbelievably talented!!!

Kara did the make-up for myself, my bridesmaids and my mother-in-law and she was amazing! Everyone looked incredible and, even when we were dancing up a storm, the make-up stayed just as flawless!! Thank you, Kara, for glamming us up for the big day!

Kara was absolutely phenomenal, from first contact to the day of the wedding. She is kind, talented, easy to reach, provides honest feedback and gives wonderful recommendations. She arrived to the venue early, was completely unrushed doing the makeup for 10 people, and touched us up before we headed out. She even airbrushed one of my bridesman who had a peeling sunburn!! Everyone looked wonderful but more than that, she put us all at ease with her calm demeanor. Kara is the best and I would highly recommend her for everyone!

Every girl dreams of their Wedding day, and hopes everything goes as planned. Bedsides the planning aspects of it, every bride wants to look absolutely stunning and that means finding the perfect makeup artist! Lucky for me, I found Kara. From the initial trial/meeting I knew without a doubt she was going to be the one I went with. She is very easy to talk to, has a bubbly personality and extremely talented. I was not only impressed with my makeup, but my whole wedding party. Kara’s attention to detail along with pleasing everyone made my wedding day go by smoothly. She showed up right on time to set up and got started right away. Not only did she do my makeup, She managed to get 7 bridesmaids, the MOB and MOG plus another sister of the groom all done on time. There was no rushing at all, she spent quality time with each of us and even did touch ups before she left in the morning.

I just want to thank you again for all your hard work, this day would not have gone as smoothly without you. Your makeup made my wedding pictures that much more beautiful; I felt flawless! I highly recommend Kara to every bride who is hoping to look stunning and have an easy smooth day. Her makeup talent speaks for itself!

Kara is amazing!!! I had my make up done by her before my wedding at different events and absolutely loved her and her work. She went above and beyond for my wedding and I recommend her to all my friends getting married. She’s professional and also so down to earth, not to mention the end results are truly stunning!

I first met Kara when I hired her (as a surprise) to do my sister-in-law's makeup on her wedding day. Let's just say, I had to book her for my wedding as soon as I met her, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Kara provided make-up for myself, my maid of honor, (3) of my bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law on my wedding day, and I know everyone else was equally satisfied. She has a wonderful eye for color, respectfully listens to your requests, and moves throughout the getting-ready period of the day with a happy, collected stress-free attitude and demeanor. I was calm all morning because I knew I was in such great hands. The results? Flawless and fabulous; I never felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day!

I've known Kara for 8 years now, and she has thoroughly blown me away with every time I've used her for weddings; only this time it was my own wedding! I completely trusted her to pick my makeup and lipstick; and she did a phenomenal job! When I went to my makeup trial, I had just sprained my ankle prior too,but did not want to cancel! She completely made me comfortable and worked around my propped up ankle so I could look amazing at Urgent Care.

For my wedding day, she came to my hotel room and was able to set up. Kara is incredibly personable, is incredibly humble and very hardworking. Her attention to detail is impeccable. She put me and my family and friends at ease and she is a thoughtful, caring makeup artist who is someone I will continue to use for events. I highly recommend Kara for your wedding!!

I can't say enough about Kara's work - I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride looking for on-site makeup. At my trial with Kara she listened to my ideas, shared advice, and made changes to suit me. Over the course of my engagement I sent her a few photos of some different makeup ideas. Kara was responsive and reassuring. The day of my wedding Kara did the makeup for my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, aunt, and myself. Every single person looked like their very best self and felt it too!

Kara has been a really close family friend for a long time and I know how experienced and professional she is so it was a no brainer to go with her on our special day! She did my makeup, plus 5 others (including bridesmaids, MOB and MOG). Leading up to the day, she was so easy to work with and flexible on my trial date. The trial went perfectly. I showed her a picture of the look I was going for and she nailed it, and actually suggested changing a few things to complement my skin and style better, which I loved. On the day of, everyone loved getting their makeup done because she makes you feel so comfortable! We ended up running a little behind schedule but that was on our end, and the whole time Kara kept a positive vibe, not stressing me out which is very rare for me! I would highly recommend Kara – pleasure to work with from start to finish and by far one of our best wedding vendors.

Kara was absolutely amazing for my wedding. Incredibly responsive, flexible and so accommodating to my needs. Everyone loved her not only for the amazing makeup that they all felt flawless and beautiful in but because she was so personable and added such a great vibe to the day. I HIGHLY recommend her for any wedding, prom, or formal event that's in need of a makeup artist. Prices are incredibly reasonable for onsite services and the amazing quality that you get.

Kara did a phenomenal job on the makeup for my wedding day. In additional to my bridal makeup, she did the makeup for my bridesmaids and my mom. Kara was wonderful! So generous with her time and just so sweet and easy to talk to via email and in person. She was always very responsive and never left me hanging.

I don’t wear a lot of makeup (concealer under my eyes and maybe some eyeliner if I feel fancy) and she was very understanding and made me feel very comfortable. She was able to give me the perfect natural look that didn’t feel cakey so I looked like a more awake, smoother version of myself. The trial was great, I went to her home and was very comfortable there. And on the big day she did the make-up perfectly again! She was on-time on the day of, which was pretty early (7am), cheery, friendly, and reassured me that the day was going to be wonderful and that I was going to feel beautiful – and she was right! In the pictures I looked just like myself, the makeup matched up perfectly to my skin, and I got so many compliments that day! She did the makeup for two women in my family too, who wear more makeup than I do, and they loved her and what she was able to do. She has such an ease about her that is so necessary for the day of your wedding when you’re feeling a little stressed. I would recommend her to all brides if I could. She’s amazing.

Kara was lovely to work with! She took the time at my trial to understand what I wanted (very simple with a bold lip) and I was so happy and excited about what we ended up with. On the day of the wedding, she was a great person to have around while we were getting ready - everyone had an easy time talking with her and it was comfortable to have her in the wedding suite. I felt gorgeous in my makeup and it lasted all day/night on a really humid day. Both of my bridesmaids were very happy with their looks. She was also wonderful and patient with my mom who is scared of all things makeup. She found the right amount to put on her so she didn't feel overly done, but looked and felt really pretty.

In short, Kara is wonderful! :)

Kara is amazing!!! She is a true artist. I was very skeptical at first as I don't like heavy makeup but Kara was patient and reassure me the whole way. She suggested eye lashes and I am so glad I listened as they made my eyes pop. At the need my make up was flawless and perfect. Everyone who has seen my wedding photos comments on how fabulous my makeup was. I would highly recommend Kara.

Kara did an absolutely amazing job. She made me feel 100% comfortable in our make up trial and really understood that I wanted to look like myself on my wedding (but a more polished version!) She knew exactly what to suggest and where to push me in terms of pumping up my look. She even went out of her way to get the eye last extensions I was looking for and a lipstick that she thought would compete the look.

On the day of we were running late (shocker!) due to hair and general excitement. Kara remained calm and when it came to my time for make-up assured me we had plenty of time and to relax. Sounds simple but her energy and confidence made me feel so great. I absolutely loved my look and it lasted all night! My bridesmaids were also extremely happy with the results- also happy with the price and commented that they didn't feel cheated and had someone who actually listened to what they wanted and liked.

Kara is amazing- seriously. If you're looking for someone who will really listen to you, act professionally but also get excited with you in the moment, she's your girl. I can't say enough good things and am happy to answer any future brides' questions!

I hired Kara for both my wedding shower, boudoir shoot, wedding and most recently baby shower. She has been able to adapt her technique based on the event and the look I was going for. She is pleasant to be around, reasonably priced, prompt with response time and always open to my questions/thoughts/suggestions. I will continue to hire Kara for any event moving forward. She is the best!

Kara did my makeup for my
Cotillion and Prom and she did an amazing job!! I was so happy with the outcome for cotillion that I asked her to do it again the following year for my
Prom and also had her do a couple of my friends make up as well! I'm very picky when it comes to my makeup so having someone do exactly what I wanted was awesome, She did exactly what I was looking for and I would absolutely reccomend her for any event!

Kara was by far my favorite vendor to work with! She was very accommodating and professional. Everyones makeup was perfect and we received so many compliments! I had a very large bridal party and she was able to get everyone's make up done and a last minute addition to the group, still leaving us plenty of time to get ready. Kara was so easy to work with, I'd suggest her to any bride to be!

Kara has always provided me with the best makeup I could ask for. Every time that I've used her services I get compliments all night on how amazing my make-up is! No matter the occasion she will cater to your wants/needs. I've gone to other artists before but no one compares to Kara. She always creates a flawless look and she truly is an artist. Kara was the sweetest most professional make up artist I have ever met . I called and met with 6 other make up artists . Kara was honest , easy to talk to and extremely flexible to my needs and wants . I had 8 bridesmaids all with defferent fashion styles and Kara nailed the make up on each girl ! Kara was incredible to work with from pre wedding to the day of. I was planning my wedding from out of state so i wasn't able to come up ahead of time to meet her for a consultation. I was a bit nervous about that at first until I talked with her over the phone about everything. Her expertise and genuine personality instantly put me at ease and I knew I could trust her right away for my big day. The day of she was so professional and calm which was so wonderful to have that energy around coming from a bride. She has been a bride herself and so she had awesome advice for me and like I said just kept me at ease. My makeup turned out so beautiful and lasted until 3am! It was exactly what I had wanted not too much, but enough to see in pictures and last long, classic and elegant. Not only was she great with me, but she did all my bridesmaids and my moms makeup. Everyone loved how it came out. She was especially so wonderful with my flower girl, my niece who is 6 years old. It was her first time ever wearing makeup and Kara was so sweet with her and made her feel really comfortable. I absolutely recommend her to anyone who is getting married or even for any event to have as your makeup artist. I cannot say enough good things about her. You will not be disappointed!

For my wedding in Boston, I could not be any happier for choosing Kara to do my bridal makeup. She is very professional and honest. I had a makeup trial with her and we were able to play around with a few themes but ultimately, I was able to trust her and allow her to do what she professionally does best. My family and friends could not get over how stunning my bridal makeup was. Kara used her airbrush and it lasted the entire day. She also picked out the timeless red lipstick for my wedding day and it shows well and classic on my wedding photos. My mom, 3 of my sisters, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law also had Kara to do their makeup and they loved how professional, fast, and smooth she was. They were very pleased with the results and the photos show! Kara is a delight to work with. She is very sweet and it makes the wedding planning and wedding day go so easily. Thank you Kara!

Kara was amazing! She was on time and very professional! She did 6 people in my wedding party plus myself. We had a schedule with the hairdresser I had at my house doing hair at the same time and when the times got thrown off Kara was very flexable and made it all work. All of her things were spotless and I couldn't have been happier with the way my makeup came out :) I never wear makeup and she made it very comfortable for me even making the fake eye lashes she put on me seem like they weren't there.
She did my trial the day of my bridal shower and I thought that was a great idea on her part :) I would highly recommend her!

Kara is an extremely talented makeup artist and a pleasure to work with. She is a true professional who is willing to travel to the venue and really listend to the bridal party's requests. Kara did a fantastic job creating a personalized look for each individual girl. Everyone was so impressed at how fanrastic their makeup was and not only did they look absolutely beautiful, but they felt beautiful too! When you hire a professional to provide a service it is important that you get what you pay for. Kara's pricing is reasonable and I would recomend her to anyone who needs to look good for any occasion.

I'm so happy I chose Kara to do my makeup for my wedding! She is super friendly and wonderful at her job. Kara listened to what I wanted, we had trials to see what looked best, and she made sure I looked exactly how I wanted for the big day! On the day of my wedding Kara showed up early and made sure she had plenty of time for all my bridemaid's makeup. Everyone in my wedding party loved her and she made everyone look stunning. I will definitely be asking Kara to do my makeup for all my special occasions in the future.

Kara was flexible during all stages of our day and worked with us when we were behind schedule. The girls in my wedding party preferred a natural look and Kara was able to accommodate this request and everyone was thrilled with the results. She took into consideration everyone's requests and was able to share her recommendations and knowledge to ensure the end results were perfect!

Personally she handled my makeup and I never felt more beautiful! The stress on a wedding day can be high but Kara was sure to ease any nerves with her expertise and calm demeanor.

I would not only recommend Kara but will use her anytime moving forward.

I wish I could give Kara 10 stars. Not only was my make-up flawless it looked as good at the end of the night as it did right after she finished. I absolutely loved the airbrush finish and my entire bridal party including mothers and grandmothers looked gorgeous. Kara made me feel so relaxed as well while I was getting all done up. I appreciated that she took the time to walk me outside to check my coloring in natural light. She is a true artist and amazing at what she does. I trust her completely, she chose the perfect lip and eye shadow colors to compliment my skin tone. I couldn't have asked for anything more!! I have already recommended her to gfs with up coming weddings and will use her again any chance I get! Xoxo

I hired Kara in August for a wedding party. The bride planned a wedding within 6 weeks so I took it upon myself to do the booking of the make-up for the bride and bridal party to help alleviate a big task off the brides list. Working with Kara was extremely easy. Not only was she available the morning we needed her, she was willing to travel almost 2 hours to meet us. She arrived promptly, got set-up amongst the chaos of the bridal suite activities, and did an unbelievable job of transforming the bridal party. It was like having a friend of ours there with us vs a hired artist. Every face she touched came out gorgeous... and the bride was MORE than happy with her look and how everything worked out. I would recommend Kara for any kind of event that requires someone who is professional, has a great eye and updated sense of fashion to know exactly what will work for each individual, and someone you will enjoy spending time with. The bridal party looked amazing and I walked away a hero for making it all so easy for everyone to look their best on that special day!!

Kara did makeup for my wedding party and I, and we loved her! We had a wide range of requests for looks, from very natural looking, to bold and dramatic, and they all looked amazing! She was super professional, but also easygoing and fun to have around on the big day! You can tell she loves what she does, and this translates into her work. Highly recommend her!

Kara was the best choice I made as far as wedding vendors! She was so personable and professional I now consider her a friend! Her prices are reasonable and her professionalism is amazing! Any questions I had regarding my make up she was available and extremely helpful! She was able to order a specific lip gloss that I loved and brought it for me on my wedding day so I could keep up my gorgeous look! I have never looked so beautiful in my life! She is the best in the business!

Kara is AMAZING!! She did make up for my maid of honor and I and did a fabulous job! Everyone complimented us on our look the whole night. The make up photographed well also; It looked very natural. Kara works magic!!

Kara did my make up for my wedding and it was amazing!! She did such an incredible job. She did my cousin's make up for her wedding before mine and it looked so great I had to ask who she used. She told me about Kara and I called her right away. Kara is very professional and has a huge array of different products. Highly recommend!!! Definitely a make up artist!

Kara made my wedding day absolutely perfect. From the time I had my makeup trial with her up till my wedding day, I have been 100% happy with her. She made me feel beautiful, took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me awesome advice. She is extremely thorough and professional but made me feel very comfortable and was fun to have in the room while getting ready for my big day ! All my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law LOVED Kara. People are still bragging about how beautiful she made everyone feel ! I would recommend Kara to any bride that would like to be stress free and flawless for any occasion. I can't wait to use Kara again in the future for another special event!
