Please don’t spend $300 to get your hair or makeup done. Use Jillyan and Geena for much less! You’ll get the same quality of work that those high priced MUAs and hair stylists charge! Jill and Geena are amazing at what they do! They were so easy to work with and were very responsive leading up to my wedding day. Their prices are super reasonable, and they were flexible with any adjustments or changes that needed to be made. I was so worried about running behind, and we actually finished early! couldn’t have been happier with my hair and makeup, and one of my bridesmaids is now using them for their wedding. Where do I even begin! I can't say enough about Jillyan & Geena. I will start by saying that they have done my makup & hair for 3 weddings that I was in. My 2 daughter-in-laws & now mine. I would have not gone with any other but them. They feel like family to me due to their friendliness and both are just so easy to talk to & get along with. Their both very punctual, professional and above all talented. Their prices are also affordable and there were no hidden costs. They stayed true to their word. I had many age groups in my wedding and they listened and worked with each individual to achieve the desired look that was wanted. They make you feel very relaxed and comfortable and put you at ease. What I liked the most is that they made each girl look very natural and not "overdone". Everyone looked incredible! I did do a trial, in which I highly recommend. This way on the day of your wedding you know exactly what you want. I would definitely recommend Jillyan & Geena 100%! They will not disappoint and will make your day something to remember.

This has been my 3rd event that I have used Jillyan. First 2 were my daughter in law’s weddings and now it was mine. I can’t say enough about Jillyan, but the main thing is her work is phenomenal! She has done all different age groups for me & what I liked most is that she applies the makeup and it looks so natural! She is a pleasure to work with & just so easy going. She listens to all your requests & concerns. She is very flexible, punctual & professional. Whenever I reached out to her, she would answer me back right away. In a pinch the girl that was doing our hair fell through. I reached out to Jillyan and she was able to help me with one of her team members named Geena. Geena was excellent with all our hair & styles we requested. They get there and get the job done. I would highly recommend both Jillyan and Geena. They made all of us look beautiful on my wedding day.

Jillyan and Geena are so sweet and experienced. Their prices are very affordable, and their quality of work is amazing. At the trial, Jillyan and Geena both were flexible with trying out different styles on me and took detailed notes for any changes I wanted for the wedding day.
We had a daytime wedding, so hair and make-up started at 6AM for 4 girls and the bride. Both Jillyan and Geena were there early, set up, and ready to go. Not only are both highly talented but also personable and easy to chat with. Jillyan truly listened to what each woman wanted and listened to their concerns and preferences. Jillyan made sure to keep my make-up looking very natural and not heavy or cakey. My make-up was finished by 8AM and lasted me until 11PM at night!! Geena was very creative with everyone’s hair. My hair generally does not hold a curl well yet it lasted hours. Both were extremely understanding and easy going if someone wanted a change here or there. I am so happy with Skin Bar and Paint Studio and would highly recommend their services!!!

Jillyan was so energetic, relatable, and so receptive to my insecurities. When I voiced concerns over how my makeup would last, she took her own time to research the best products and techniques for me, and the result lasted all night. She is reasonably priced for her years of experience, and she was responsive throughout the process.
Geena did my hair and it stayed all night as well, holding beautiful curls that I had never been able to do on my own hair! I showed her two inspiration photos and asked for a preference of a braid, and Geena was able to do the braid and loose curls with no issues. My bridesmaid had a braid and updo, which also held all night and looked beautiful.

Jillyan and her wonderful team provided hair and makeup services for my Bucks County wedding on April 20, 2024. Aside from the high-quality work they provided to myself, my mom, my MIL and all my bridesmaids, Jillyan is a complete professional and was extremely communicative even prior to hiring her in 2023. Her prices are very fair and her work is exquisite, and she is great at time management on the morning of the wedding. I did a hair and makeup trial in late 2023 at her studio in North Jersey, and I was really impressed with her work and also her warm personality and explanation of all the different techniques and color choices she made while applying the makeup. I would absolutely recommend hiring Skin Bar & Paint Studio again!

You can't go wrong with Jillyan & Beth!!
It feels weird to leave a review for a hair & makeup team when you hit it off so well, they feel more like friends! Jillyan & Beth get an A+++++ for not just their hair & makeup skills, but their friendliness and the way they set the vibe for our whole day. I did my trial with them in July for my December wedding and I knew immediately I wanted to work with them. I’m not a big hair/makeup person and they both made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I was torn between hair up or down, so when I booked them for my bridal shower after the trial Beth suggested trying a different look to see what I liked better. Jillyan also let me try different makeup styles to see what made me feel best. I made my trial appointment because they advertised “natural glam” but I booked my wedding because they were true to their word. I felt beautiful without feeling overdone or like a totally different person. The day of, they were on time & worked fast- and we laughed all day. Their prices also can’t be beat. I gifted hair & makeup to my girls (6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 aunt & 2 flower girls) and it was totally reasonable. Everyone was also super pleased with their services & all the ladies looked incredible! If you’re looking for wedding hair & makeup, book with Jillyan & Beth, you won’t regret it!

Jillyan and Elizabeth were awesome!! Jillyan did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my sister in law's wedding two years ago and I felt such a connection with her and I knew I had to book with her! I LOVE Jillyan! She did my wedding makeup and did such a fabulous job! When I went for my makeup trial I was a little nervous because I never wear foundation or false lashes, but Jillyan made me so comfortable and reassured me we could always do more or less, but I LOVED it!! She did airbrush foundation and it literally felt like water was misting on my face, it was so light.
Leading up to the wedding day, she answered any and all of my questions quickly and made me feel so relaxed as I was getting more and more panicked the closer the day got. Communication was excellent!
On the day of, Jillyan did such an amazing job with all of the girls. We couldn't have been happier. Not to mention the makeup lasted ALL day. Thank you, Jillyan, for making my day even more special!

During my makeup trial, she listened to my requests and answered all of my questions. Her makeup services were very reasonable for the work that she does. Where do I even begin? Jyllian and Elizabeth were absolutely AMAZINGGGG! From booking all the way to my wedding day, they made the process smooth and fun!!!!. They arrived the day of the wedding on time and made the day fun and stress free. Our make up and hair came out gorgeous!! Elizabeth did my 6 year old niece’s hair which made her feel like such a princess and I am forever grateful she was still talking about it hours after! The sweetest, most talented make-up artist
I have very unoriginal titles and this review is very late. I was very fortunate to be introduced to Jillyan, the MUA and owner herself. She was AMAZING! From the engagement photo make-up sessions to my wedding. I cannot thank her enough and her team for making my dreams come true. She's very easy to talk to and accommodating (not only to me but my husband, our family and our wedding party). She is extremely reasonable for the amount of work she had to do, and efficient! (I don't want to use the word "fast" because that sounds sloppy and they were not. This is important because they had to take care of alot of us by a certain timeframe. It got done). Overall, she is a wonderful person who is extremely skilled and talented with ridiculously reasonable prices. Someday, one-day, if I ever need professional make-up done, she has my business 💯

Jill and her coworker came to my venue and hooked my girls and myself up. Even gave my little flower girl some lip gloss and blush to make her feel even more like my princess. Friendly and talented, I don't wear makeup ever and she made me feel comfortable. She matched their eyeshadow to their dresses, but not exactly, just enough to accentuate them. My girls popped, they're beautiful to begin with, but they were stunning.

My wedding day was so perfect thanks to Jill! It was such an easy and FUN day having all the ladies close to me together getting their hair and makeup done and that is in all thanks to Jill and her team. My makeup and hair lasted all day and night and looked so perfect. I cant recommenced them enough!!

Jillyan's work is FLAWLESS! I love that she does airbrushing as you don’t find a lot of people that do. She did my entire bridal party by herself and had everyone looking amazing! She is so much fun with work with and has a great personality. I highly recommend Jillyan and her team for any special event! Our makeup lasted all day and night!! I would definitely go back to her!!

Great makeup!
I had the pleasure of working with Jillyan for my November 16th 2019 wedding and everything from the makeup trial to the day of was fabulous! I don’t wear a lot of makeup so Jillyan helped me find a look that would be more formal for my wedding day but still look natural and not overdone which was exactly what I was looking for. On the day of we made a few changes to my makeup and it looked amazing and stayed all night! My mom was really worried about her makeup and Jillyan spent so much time with her on the trial and the day of to make sure she was comfortable and felt beautiful. On the day of Jillyan was calm and worked efficiently to get all the makeup done by the time we needed to. All of the bridesmaids looked fabulous as well. The price for the bridesmaids and bride are so reasonable too! On the day of our wedding it’s so important to surround yourself with calm, fun and efficient people and that’s exactly who Jillyan is. Perfect Makeup and Hair!
Worked with Jillyan for our November 1st wedding for both hair and makeup. During the trial she was incredibly helpful in figuring out the type of look I wanted and we played with a few ideas. I wanted a natural look and scheduled my engagement session with my photographer immediately after the trial and the pictures came out stunning! I typically don't wear a lot of makeup and while as she was putting it on it felt like she was putting on a lot, it didn't feel like it, nor did it look like it. The hair trial was the same, we played around with a few ideas and they worked with the hairpiece I had purchased flawlessly. Jillyan did 7 girls makeup the day of (including myself) in under 4 1/2 hours, which I was floored by. She was very responsive in emails and was an absolute joy to be around the day of. On your wedding day you want to surround yourself with people who are positive and helpful. Jillyan takes immense pride in her work and takes the role of shaping how you look on your wedding day very seriously. Could not have been happier with the way everything turned out!!

So professional and beautiful makeup

SO many friends and family members recommended Jillyan to me when I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding. I contacted Jillyan and was very happy to hear that she had availability on my big day! I did a trial for my engagement shoot and I immediately knew I was going to love working with her! I even had her do my makeup again for my boudoir shoot. On my wedding day Jillyan arrived before me, was sweet as always, and she made me and all my girls look amazing! Top notch hair and makeup services!
Using Skin Bar and Paint Studio for my hair and makeup was one of the best decisions made for my wedding. I was recommended to use them by my sister in law who used them about 9 years ago and she used them since she was in a wedding before that! From the first time I emailed asking about the services I always received a speedy reply! The prices and quality are both top notch and Jillyan helped to make the entire process move super smooth the day of! I would highly recommend using them for anyone looking for their big day!!!

I can not say enough positive things about Jillyan. She was very responsive via email, answered all questions and never went back on her word. We made a last minute change to where the bridal party was getting ready and she rolled with it. No hidden charges. We handed her a bridal party of non-makeup wearing woman and she made each and every one look simply perfect. Not one girl that had their makeup done by Jillyan was overdone or uncomfortable with their final look. Every girl is trying to figure out how we can use Jillyan anytime we need makeup done! In a diverse group of women, both by age and skin type, she executed each one's vision with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any group for any event. She is a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5!!!!

I worked with both Jillyan and Jaclyn for my bridal makeup and hair. They also did my 3 bridesmaids hair and makeup. Everyone loved the outcome! Jillyan and her staff are very professional, reasonably priced, and do amazing work! My sister used Skin Bar and Paint Studio for her wedding in May, and everyone looked perfect! I decided to hire her and her team to do my wedding in October, and again the work was flawless. My friend just got married in December, and after my recommendation, she used Jillyan too! Everything was just perfect! Jillyan and her team not only showed up on time but were there early!
They take the time to do trial looks and come to you on your big day. Three weddings in one year, and Skin Bar and Paint Studio came through each time with excellent results. Highly recommend!

I worked with Jillyan for my wedding makeup and I couldn’t be happier! I did two trials, one for my engagement party and another for my shower. In the beginning I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but each time she did my makeup we got closer to what I was hoping for. On my actual wedding day, I was thrilled. I loved working with Jillyan and her team. They did an amazing job the day of my wedding for me and my girls. She was very prompt to respond to any questions that I had. So happy I found Jillyan!! She does a great job explaining her process and making you feel comfortable. During my makeup trial she was willing to show me several looks from "somewhat heavy" to very light and modifications in between. Day of my wedding she was right on schedule we had no drama with makeup delays and no issues with my makeup all evening! The best thing about working with Jillyan is she really makes your wedding day stress free! She allows for last minute changes adding/subtracting girls to makeup on the day of which I really liked. Also the fact that she offers airbrushing and lashes to everyone really made all my girls excited about their makeup. I highly recommend Jillyan for makeup she's a professional who uses high quality products!!!

She was so easy to work with, has a lovely studio and will travel for make up on-site. From start to finish my experience with Jillyan was wonderful! As soon as I met her at my trial, she was very nice and professional. She made me feel comfortable and listened to the look I was going for. I was very happy with my trial. Needless to say, on my wedding day she mad me feel so beautiful. She made sure I was happy. She told me she would change anything if I wanted. I didn't need to change anything. Everything was perfect! She also did makeup the day of my wedding for my mom, maid of honor, bridesmaid and two friends. She made sure everyone was done on time. She didn't rush and made sure all were happy with their look. I highly recommend brides to use Jillyan! You will not be disappointed!

I can’t not even begin to describe how amazing Jillyan was to work with. From the moment I met with her for my trial to my wedding day, she was calming, funny and made me feel amazing. Not to mention her prices are extremely reasonable. We had a few changes leading up to our wedding and Jillyan was super accommodating with everything! Jillyan’s work is flawless! I love that she does airbrushing as you dont find a lot of people who do. She did my Bridal party by herself and had everyone looking beautiful and ready on time. She has a great personality and makes everyone feel comfortable as she explains all the details of what she will do. My make up stayed on the whole day and night! I will definitely go back to her and recommend anyone I can.

Jillyan & Elizabeth were great! They did makeup and hair for 9 ladies. We began around 9 am and were finished and ready by 2:30 pm. I never felt rushed or worried that we wouldn't finish in time. They were very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. We showed them pictures of hair and makeup and they made it all happen, without any problems. Some of the ladies had idea about what they wanted but they recommended we do something different that would look better (which it did). They gave me a bottle of hairspray, Bobbie pins, and lip gloss just in case I needed it later in the night. Their pricing is very reasonable, it included airbrush makeup and eyelashes at no extra cost. I would highly recommend these two ladies. They were very accommodating and helpful with the whole process.

Jillyan did the makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law at my July 1st wedding. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. I read her glowing reviews and after a conversation with her over the phone, I immediately felt comfortable and confident that she was the one. Being an out of town bride, she was extremely flexible in her schedule to accommodate my limited availability for a trial.
Jill was on time, patient, and a calming presence in the chaos and nerves of the day. Her prices are very reasonable. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of cost-wise just because I used the word “wedding”. She really cares about making you look beautiful on your day—and that she did! My bridesmaids raved about how gorgeous they felt thanks to Jill. My mother and mother-in-law were so appreciative that Jillyan was able to do their make up in a way that looked beautiful and appropriate for their age. I’d use her again in a heartbeat.

This salon is amazing! I can't say enough about how wonderful their work is. I had the pleasure of working with Jillyan for a family photo session and Seema for my wedding day. Both times, I was so impressed with how natural my makeup looked! For my wedding, Seema was a wonderful addition in the getting ready process! She was so sweet and kind and just chatting with her about our children while she did my makeup, took away my jitters. She showed up exactly when she said she would be there, completed my makeup, 5 of my bridesmaids, and my mother and mother in laws makeup. We received so many compliments on how beautiful we all looked. I'll admit I had never done airbrushed makeup before and was nervous about it, but it added such a nice touch! I would highly recommend both Jillyan and Seema to everyone who is in needed of makeup for ANY occasion! So reasonably priced and amazing people to have on your side on your big day! There are are no words to explain how ecstatic I was with Jillyan's makeup services for my wedding. I first heard about Jillyan through my sister-in-law, who contracted her to do my sister-in-law's wedding. My sister-in-law, mother-in-law and family boasted about Jyllian. They told me she has a great personality, super flexible, produces amazing work and if you plan to cry and/or sweat none of the makeup comes off. Furthermore, she puts on eyelashes that make your eyes pop. She was so highly recommended that I immediately contacted Jyllian right away. She ALWAYS answered promptly. She was super helpful and understanding when it came to different skin conditions. She always made sure that all bridesmaids, mother of the bride and me (the bride) feel satisfied and comfortable with her makeup services. Everyone loved her! She always made conversation, made everyone laugh, and created a less stressful environment. Jyllian was employed by MAC in the past. There she was able to work with celebrities (such as Lil Kim and Pink). One of the bridesmaids was extremely relieved when she told us she worked with Lil Kim. Jyllian made my bridesmaid and all the other bridesmaids look AMAZING and comfortable in her own skin! Moreover, she stayed at my house for 7 HOURS!

When plans changed she was willing to work around my times and brought another artist in to help the day run smoothly. Jillyan is an amazing makeup artist and a pleasure to work with. Truly talented and a beautiful person inside and out. She is flexible, great personality and made me feel relaxed on my wedding day. She came to my house on my wedding day and did my makeup, my moms makeup and my bridal party. My makeup lasted all night and I was able to enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about going to check my makeup before every picture, no touch ups needed all night. I could not be more happy with Jillyan's beautiful work. She did my makeup for my engagement pictures also that came out beautiful. I am not used to heavier make-up, but she made me look fantastic (and still natural) and I have about 750 pictures to prove it. My mom and 2 bridesmaids also looked beautiful. On the actual wedding day, they came on time (probably even early) and did a beautiful job on all of our hair and makeup. Even with a small parking issue that was my fault Jillyan was extremely kind and flexible about the whole thing. Would highly recommend!

Jillyan was amazing to work with. She really does listen to what you say and what you like and what you're comfortable with, and she communicates with you throughout the entire process. I loved my trial so much that I cried because I looked like a "more enhanced" version of me, but still looked like me (which isn't always the case when getting makeup done). I would not have wanted anyone else to do my makeup for my big day. She was unfailingly kind to me and all of my girls, and I'm so lucky that I was able to work with her.
