Unbelievable hair and makeup!
I hired Evelyn because I wanted someone who specialized in a natural look. I have now used her 3 times - for my engagement photos, for my hair and makeup trial, and for my wedding. She did hair and makeup for me, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 of my sisters. She totally nailed it! We looked GORGEOUS. I am IN LOVE with my wedding hair and make up look. I also loved her assistant William, who was super fun and did a great job on everyone's hair. I also hired her to follow me around and be my glam squad for 3 hours and I'm SO glad I did. I felt like a movie star and she made sure that I looked fabulous for all of my photos. Also, my makeup stayed put even though I cried at my first look, the entire time I was walking down the aisle, and during the ceremony. My makeup stayed so well I wore it to the brunch I hosted the next morning! I just love Evelyn's makeup style. Would definitely recommend! -

Beautiful work and easy going!
Evelyn and staff did an absolutely wonderful job with everyone’s makeup and hair especially mine! I was getting compliments left and right! She was easy to work with and very flexible. She truly knows what she is doing and makes any idea come to life! I would recommend her to anyone for any upcoming event! Thanks again for your beautiful work! -

Evelyn’s work is amazing! She made me look and feel gorgeous my whole day. My hair and makeup lasted all night and photographed beautifully. She is also a great person to have while getting ready. She is extremely calming and fun. I could not recommend her enough! -

I’ve never get more beautiful
As someone who doesn’t wear makeup, I was terrified of looking like a clown in pictures.
Evelyn and her team did a fantastic job keeping my hair and makeup natural enough that I still felt like me, but amplified! Airbrush is definitely worth the extra cost.
All of my ladies praised how awesome Evelyn was and everyone looked so beautiful!
Even through the tears and 108 degree Los Angeles heat wave, my makeup still looked great at the end of the day!
Evelyn truly works makeup magic! -

Talented and super nice!
A way overdue review! Evelyn was my makeup and hair stylist for my wedding, she was so great to work with, not only is she a super talented makeup and hairstylist but she's also just so nice! I would not hesitate to book her again for other events. -

Evelyn was the only makeup artist I could find on instagram and wedding wire that had a price point I could afford for hair and makeup for my Bridals and Wedding, AND I wouldn't look like I had makeup on! You know the makeup artist isn't good when the first thing you notice about the photos is that the person HAS makeup on. What I loved about Evelyn's portfolio was that she brought out the natural beauty in all of her clients, and I noticed the facial features and beauty of the client FIRST before admiring the makeup job. She came to me to do my makeup and hair for my bridals and then came to me on location for the wedding on the morning before the ceremony. My makeup looked incredible for my bridals and my wedding, I felt gorgeous and that she really enhanced my natural beauty and the photos were able to really capture the essence of ME, not the makeup. She is incredible and was worth every penny. -

Evelyn was amazing, friendly and professional. I did a trial session with her, which I loved, and I booked her for my wedding day. It was my first time doing air brush makeup and I ended up loving it. She was on time on my wedding day and was also able to fit my mom in for a simple makeup. My makeup looked flawless and beautiful. I had a pic of the look I wanted and Evelyn matched it perfect. My husband and I got married in August, which was warm, and my makeup never smeared from tears or sweat. That was my #1 concern. I definitely would do airbrush again, and most definitely would use Evelyn for my hair and makeup again. Evelyn also matched the hairstyle I wanted as well. Everything was perfect! I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day. -

Evelyn was amazing with the trial and the wedding. With the trial she listened to the type of style I wanted for my makeup and hair that she was on point the first time and we didn’t need to keep anything else. She was spectacular even when I last minute month before my wedding called her, she was right on time willing to work with times and came to me. Evelyn made my wedding day everything I hoped it would be and more! She did my hair and makeup exactly how I wanted it. Because it was so hot on our wedding day, I asked her to stay after the ceremony to make sure my hair and make up looked good in the photos. This is where Evelyn shined. She retouched my hair/make up after every photo and made sure I looked great. She helped make sure I wasn’t shiny and had a fan blowing on me when I got too hot. She was kind and incredibly flexible. I told her she helped save my wedding bc if I didn’t have her for my photos I would’ve looked like a mess. She and her team are amazing and worth every single penny. -

Evelyn was a dream to work with, which was so refreshing! I knew the second we met for my bridal trial months before that I was in good hands. She managed to not only make me feel beautiful, but also look like myself (just an enhanced version) that my now husband and I were both so happy with. Evelyn is a bride's dream, because she won't stop until you're 100% satisfied. I changed my vision slightly the last week before the wedding and she worked with me until I was beyond satisfied. I've never felt prettier! -

Evelyn is amazing!! My whole bridal party looked fantastic. From the trial to the wedding day she made everything so easy.
I felt taken care of from day one! Her communication was so fast I never had to worry or wait. I wanted a very specific look and she really delivered. She listened to everything I wanted and I looked more amazing then I could have ever imagined.

Evelyn is so nice first of all! I loved my trial look and she was on time on my wedding day! She was actually even ahead of schedule which was great because we ended up having other setbacks later in the day. Everyone loved their looks and her and her assistant were lovely to joke with that morning! -

Evelyn was the perfect choice for me, my bridesmaids and our moms (bride's and groom's)! I interviewed a handful of artists and I felt comfortable with Evelyn from the start. She listened to what I wanted and she was super responsive with communication! I planned my wedding from afar (I don't live in Socal anymore). Evelyn was great about a creating a wedding day-of timeline, the practice round appointment went smoothly, the pricing was fair, and her entire team did an outstanding job of making us all look fabulous! We took wedding pictures prior to ceremony at a bluff near the ocean; Evelyn helped me plan for this and she was able to do touch ups after photos prior to ceremony-- which was AWESOME, my bridesmaids especially liked this! All my bridesmaids wanted something a bit different and Evelyn's expertise really made this happen. And I (the bride) was really happy with how my hair and makeup turned out! Perfection, I'd hire Evelyn again! -

Evelyn was super flexible and I was able to schedule my trial session at my home on my birthday. The trial went great and I had a couple of minor changes I wanted to make on wedding day. Evelyn and her team arrived a few minutes early (yay!!) on wedding day and were really nice, professional, and easy to work with. Everyone was stoked on their hair and make-up. I was extremely impressed; everything came out looking even better than I'd hoped for. And the prices were really reasonable. I highly recommend Evelyn! -

It was an absolute delight to work with Evelyn on and leading up to my wedding day. I appreciated her professionalism and friendly demeanor. Evelyn was a consummate professional! From my trial to my wedding day, she took care of me and made sure that I was happy with the results. My hair and makeup were executed flawlessly, and I couldn't have been happier. I got the full package, and had a half up/half down style with clip-in extensions which she put in, as well as airbrush makeup - the total prep time was 3 hours and well worth it! Staying power was fantastic, and I got so many compliments that everything looked perfect yet still natural and timeless...exactly what every bride wants to hear! The value for the quality of her work is incredible. You can't go wrong with Evelyn! -

I hired Evelyn to do the makeup and hair for my bridal party and I on my wedding day and she did such an amazing job! She was there early and worked on us for several hours. Our hair and makeup looked amazing and lasted all day! I also had a trial session with Evelyn and she was so helpful in helping me figure out which makeup and hair style to choose. Love, love, love Evelyn. She did an incredible job, was patient, responsive and connects with what you want.
From the first contact to the day of, she was very timely, respectful of your wishes. I was that bride that had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted but was not sure. For the trial I showed her 3 pictures of the hair styles I liked, picture of my dress and the 2 pictures of the make up I wanted and she produced everything I could've hoped for.
She is very very patient and super understanding. It was initially going to be just my mother and I getting hair and make-up but after the trial, majority of the bridesmaids wanted their make up done by Evelyn, which turned out to be 6 additional girls. The day of, she managed to get us all ready on time and we all looked ah-mazing.
She responds to you very promptly, answers any and all questions. And she just has a great personality.
Book her... you won't regret it. -

I first used Evelyn's makeup/hair services for my engagement photos. I normally do not wear a lot of makeup so she was able to give me a very natural look that I loved. I ended up using the same look for my wedding. I did a hair trial with Evelyn in which we did 3 different looks and for each look she would do 2 variations. She took her time and made sure that I was happy with whatever look I chose. I could not have been more happier with the professionalism and the services she provided. On my wedding day my hair and makeup lasted all day and all night. Through the tears, the laughter and the sweat. Evelyn, Thank you to you and your team for making me and my wedding party look fabulous. -

Evelyn Sanabria and her team provided great service. She was on time, organized and kept to a well timed schedule. My make up lasted through out the night as well as the hair styles she had done for my bridesmaids. I loved the mini care packages she gave us in the end to be able to touch up with through out the night. -

Evelyn was the hair and makeup artist (aka guru) for myself, my mom, and my sister for my wedding, which took place on 09/26/14 in Canyon Country, CA. Evelyn is seriously a magician because she did such a wonderful job with all of us. We each had our own individual looks for the wedding, but were all equally radiant and happy with the results. I loved my bridal makeup! I felt beautiful from inside and out. My makeup was exactly how I wanted it to be. Evelyn was always on-time from the makeup trial to the wedding day. She is a true professional and knows how to make you look your best on one of the most important days of your life. I'm very satisfied and happy I choose evelyn as my makeup artist. I can not say enough about Evelyn, she truly is a master in her craft and a professional all the way around. My experience began when I decided to use Evelyn for my wedding. She was quick to respond to my inquiries and gave me an honest and upfront quote for what I needed. Being a self-employed business woman myself, I appreciated and understood the contract we signed, it meant that she respects her time and that she was committed to making the best out of my hair and makeup experience. We booked my trial date and she did an amazing job understanding what type of "look" I was going for on my wedding day. On my big day she showed up early and was flexible with a couple of unfortunate last minute changes we had to endure. Evelyn did nothing but, focus on me, my make-up, hair and making sure I was calm and relaxed before I walked down the aisle. My wedding day was truly memorable and she had everything to do with that. All of our guest said that my make up and hair looked flawless. I live in Colorado however I was getting married in California and I needed to find someone that did both makeup and hair pronto. I called around to a few places and Evelyn was the first to respond. I checked out her website and her prices were a GREAT deal compared to the other websites that I researched. Evelyn worked hand in hand with me to coordinate a location and time for my hair and make up (the bride), my mom's hair and make up, as well as my maid-of-honor's hair and make up. She even did my husband's make up for pictures! We all looked really great!
She was extremely responsive - all emails were answered and in a very timely manner (within 24 hours, sometimes within the hour).
With the stress of coordinating the wedding, everything was so easy working with Evelyn. I would definitely recommend her for any event! -

Worrying about wedding costs I was torn about hiring a make-up artist, at my Mom’s insistence I started looking around and found Evelyn, and I am so glad that I did! Evelyn was fabulous – I was going for a more natural look and absolutely loved what she did. I love looking back at the pictures and only wish I had her do my hair too!
To get feel for what I wanted for the wedding day, Evelyn did a trial session with my maid of honor and I before my bachelorette party in Vegas. This was really helpful for me so that I could gauge what my options were and was also just a fun day with my maid of honor… Highly recommended for anyone in the Los Angeles area, no better way to start a great bachelorette party than with some great makeup
On my wedding day in June, she and another artist came to the hotel, arriving early to set up. She did my makeup as well as my mom, mother-in-law and three bridesmaids. She got everyone done in our time window which allowed us to get to the wedding venue without rushing. Everyone was very, very pleased, and both Evelyn and her assistant were so sweet and fun – definitely a great addition to the pre-wedding party! Evelyn is a real professional - very responsive, honest and on top of her game - and I am very glad to give her highest recommendations. You won't be disappointed! -

Planning a wedding from out of state was very challenging and I was worried about finding someone good to do hair/make-up for my bridal party and myself, but Evelyn was amazing and super flexible. She was very responsive by email and clear about her wedding packages. I had very limited time to get a trial, but she fit me in and drove 45 minutes to do it for FREE! She made me feel very relaxed about the whole thing and did exactly what I asked for. On the day of the wedding, her and her team arrived promptly to our hotel room and though we had 6 people, was able to finish everyone within our time frame. All of the girls were very happy with their make-up and hair and our photos turned out gorgeous. I would highly recommend using Evelyn. -

I contacted Evelyn for my wedding hair and makeup after seeing her beautiful portfolio on-line. She was very responsive and flexible to coordinate a trial session with me around my busy work schedule (even traveled to my house in Long Beach). Makeup / hair packages for myself, bridesmaids and mother of the bride are very competitive for LA area and she and her assistant did an excellent job!
