The Best Wedding Day Makeup!

MAKEUP BY ELIZABETH was absolutely a pleasure to work with! All of my bridesmaids and mom loved their makeup and enjoyed the experience! We all really liked the air brush makeup! She was very easy to work with and communicated well throughout the whole process! Would 100% recommend for your wedding day!

Liz made it BEYOND easy!

Liz pulled out all the stops for my wedding makeup. She made sure we had our trial scheduled and even suggested to do the trial on the day of my engagement photos, which I loved, and she even came to my house to make it easy on me! She made sure to take note of how I normally wear my makeup and suggested ways to take it to the next level without being over the top. I’ve never felt so beautiful!! Liz has such a good energy and really helped boost my confidence! I was absolutely beaming all day. She also did great with my bridesmaids and my mom! We were all so impressed with how the lashes fit (my girls were so nervous to wear fake lashes for the first time!) and feeling so good. During our trial, Liz had suggested a few stylists (because I had no clue who to go to!) and she worked with the one I picked to ensure everyone would be done on time and just made the entire process beyond easy. On the day, I was able to relax and enjoy a drink while Liz made sure everyone got through their hair and makeup rotation. I can’t thank her enough. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Liz for any of her services. I’ve also had her do an eyebrow tint and lash lift and it was phenomenal! You won’t be disappointed.

Best Makeup Artist in Cincy/NKY Area!

Liz was the very first vendor I contacted to ensure she was available for my big day. I would have changed my wedding date if she wasn’t available. She provided makeup services for my 2 older sister’s weddings, and I knew I had to have her for mine. Her work is absolutely flawless and makes your feel beautiful every single time!

Definitely book!

Liz was fantastic! She listened to my experience and adjusted her style from there. She even adjusted from the trial to the wedding (summer trial v fall wedding, I had lost my tan) to make sure that I looked great! I think my favorite though, was how much she put my mom at ease. My mom had never had her make up done and was worried about how it would turn out and Liz was fantastic and my mom loved her look!

Best bridal makeup!

I was so so pleased with my bridal makeup. Elizabeth listened to what I wanted and had no issues adjusting on my wedding day based off my trial run. On the day of, she was efficient with my large bridal party but still did an amazing job with every bridesmaid. So many people complimented my makeup, and many friends have asked who did my makeup for their own weddings. Couldn’t have picked a better makeup artist!

Amazing experience

My best friend used her for her wedding (I was a bridesmaid for) and she did such a wonderful job I decided to use her for my own wedding! Liz was so wonderful to work with! She listened to feedback and genuinely wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable and accomplished my dream look for my wedding, especially since I do not wear makeup often and wanted a very natural look! She was easy to schedule with and I would 100% use her for other events and recommend her to others!

Exceeded My Expectations!

Liz did my makeup for my wedding, along with my bridesmaids' makeup, and was absolutely fantastic! She exceeded my expectations! All five of my bridesmaids admitted they loved how Liz did their makeup even better than on their own wedding days. Not only that, but it lasted the entire night of dancing, outdoor photos, and even through the after party! She's also the sweetest person and was so great to work with! 100% would recommend!

Liz was wonderful to work with! I really wanted to find someone to do my bridal makeup who would come to us where we were getting ready, and who also did airbrush. She fit the bill, and I was so pleased! She did my makeup, as well as both moms and 2 bridesmaids. She was very fast and so easy to work with. Her prices are also very reasonable, and it was great that she did a trial, and then even gave me a touch up kit for the day of the wedding!

The thing I love the most about Liz is that she made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself without looking overdone! I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, so I was concerned that with professional makeup, I wouldn't look like myself. That wasn't the case at all with Liz! When we met for my trial, she really listened to me & that was reflected in my makeup. Liz is so personable and sweet and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs their makeup professionally done!

Elizabeth was the perfect choice for me & my bridesmaids! Everyone's makeup made them look like the best version of themselves, natural with a pop! I absolutely LOVED everyone's eyes - she brought out everyone's eyes and I couldn't get over how well she brought out all my bridesmaids beauty even more :) Also, I loved the lip color she chose for me - it was an on-the-fly decision and it was just right. Liz was awesome! She was so friendly and easy to work with. She came to us on the big day, which made it very convenient. Everyone (14 of us) was so happy with their makeup, which rarely happens. My makeup was amazing. It was absolutely flawless and lasted all day. Elizabeth also did my girls makeup (we got the bridal + 2 package, Great deal!) and it was perfect as well. Wow! I am one happy bride :) Elizabeth did such a wonderful job on my makeup for my engagement pictures and my wedding day. She also did my bridal party makeup and everyone was so happy! Elizabeth was phenomenal. If you are planning an out of town wedding, look no further. She was not only accommodating, but easy to talk to, talented, and quick to respond. While searching for a makeup artist I had a hard time getting responses UNTIL I contacted Elizabeth. She was by far the best price for such amazing service. Everyone in my wedding party loved their makeup and felt confident, even my mother in law who typically never wears makeup. My husband was floored with how beautiful I looked and I can't thank my makeup and hair stylists enough for giving me that moment.

I am so happy that I hired Liz to do my make up for my wedding day. Not only does she do AMAZING work at a very affordable price but she is great to work with. She had great suggestions for how things should flow day of and was a great person to be around on my wedding day. Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with! From the trial run to the big day I felt very comfortable with her and was so impressed by her talent! Elizabeth knows how to make you picture ready while still giving a more natural look which was very important to both me and my husband. The airbrush make-up she uses is wonderful- feels so light but will last all day which is important when you have a summer wedding and know you will be sweating a lot. Liz was amazing!! I really enjoyed my trial and Liz was really open to changing what I didn't like as well as being flexible about colors and styles. She and her assistant did all of my bridesmaids as well as my aunt and mother of the bride and mother of the groom. Everyone looked simply amazing. I loved how she customized for each person and made those who don't regularly wear makeup feel comfortable. Price wise for on-site makeup I felt that she could not be beaten, the airbrush was flawless and made everyone look great in our photos. And I loved that she included lashes.

Liz was wonderful to work with, she and her partner arrived on time and fit right in with our crowd! She kept the bridesmaids moving and ensured everyone looked their absolute best before she left! Liz was fantastic!!!! Her packages are extremely affordable and her schedule was very flexible when wanting to schedule my trial makeup run! The day of my wedding went so smoothly! She arrived early in time to set up and get ready for a busy morning of getting all glammed up! She could Not have done a better job for me and my girls! We all felt and looked stunning!!! She made is all feel beautiful! She individualized each girls makeup to fit their personality and comfort level and we couldn't have asked for anything more! I recommend her to everyone I talk to who is planning a wedding and I hope I am in another wedding soon so I can work with her again! Elizabeth did an absolutely fabulous job! She was prompt, professional, kind, thoughtful and creative. My bridal party never felt rushed, and we finished makeup ahead of schedule. Elizabeth coordinated with the hairstylists whom she'd never met before to make everything work. The makeup photographed beautifully, and we were really happy with her fine work.

Elizabeth was amazing! Not only does she do wonderful work, she is super sweet, responsive to questions and would do just about anything to make you and your bridal party look great for the big day! Liz was absolutely AMAZING! She was referred to me by one of Matrons of Honor and I had seen her work at my Matron's son's wedding, but I was still nervous because 1) I don't normally wear make-up and 2) I wasn't sure if she would be as good on African American make-up as she was on my friend's. She was phenomenal. A true professional who did awesome on my entire wedding party with different races and skin types. I didn't want to look like I was wearing a ton of makeup and she simply enhanced my natural and hubby's favorite features - my eyes and lips.

Liz is my recommendation for all of your make-up needs!

Liz was an amazing makeup artist for my big day! I usually don’t wear a lot of makeup so it was important to me that I didn’t look completely different on my wedding day. After talking to Liz I knew she was the perfect makeup artist for me; my trial was beautiful and I even had Liz do my spray tan for my wedding day. Liz first did my make-up when I was a bridesmaid in one of my friends weddings. I was hesitate at first because I typically don't wear a lot of make-up but once I saw the final product I was hooked. Liz was one of the first people I contacted when I got engaged to make sure she was available to do my makeup for my wedding day! Liz rocks! I had been looking for an affordable makeup artist in the Cincinnati/NKY area that used airbrush application. I found Liz in a google search and read her website. When I made my trail appointment I was very nervous. I think most women can be apprehensive about having someone else do their makeup. She immediately made me feel at ease. She is so friendly and welcoming. We discussed makeup looks/styles that I liked before our trial. I loved her work. Liz was very accommodating on the day of the wedding. We planned for her to provide makeup for my bridesmaids, and myself. The week of the wedding my mom decided she wanted to join in too. Liz was flexible with her schedule and was able to squeeze my mom in on short notice. Liz work is exceptional. We all looked stunning on my wedding day!

Liz is AMAZING!
On my wedding day it was snowing bad and with each passing minute the streets were getting worse and worse. Liz had a list of bridesmaids makeup to do, and I even added my stepdaughter at the last minute, which, Liz did not mind at all! Liz never acted rushed or like she wanted to get out of there; she was enjoying the moment with me.
She made us all look and feel so beautiful! I had the feeling that I always imagined that I would feel on my wedding day. I felt like a princess from head to toe and Liz was a big part in helping make that happen. My make-up looked so beautiful! None of my bridesmaid, myself or my mother had their makeup done before, but we all agree that the next big event or girls night out we may just go to her so that we can feel as beautiful as we did that night again. Thank you Liz.....the word amazing is not even a strong enough word to describe you and your work!

Liz was such a fantastic makeup artist for my big day! She even went above and beyond during a crisis and asked a friend of hers, Ashley, to come help out when the original hair stylist didn't show make it. We would have been lost without both of them!

What's not to love about the lady that makes you look absolutely GORGEOUS every time you see her?! Make by Elizabeth was one of the best choices I made as a bride for making sure I felt confident and beautiful the day of my wedding! My wedding was the first time I've had my makeup professionally done, so I literally discovered Liz by searching Cincinnati Wedding Makeup and found her on a Cincinnati Wedding website. I scrolled through the list of vendors and she just stuck out...her portfolio is amazing without the huge price tag to match!! I really wanted to have airbrushed foundation because it's extremely light and very natural looking (gorgeous in photos!) and Liz offered that as part of her package at an extremely reasonable pricing. Liz is awesome and very easy to work with, she walked me through her packages, options and worked with me to help me "save money" which allowed me to use my engagement photos as my "trial" so I didn't have to pay extra for a wedding trial when I mentioned I would love to have her do my makeup for engagement pictures. Liz is extremely knowledgeable about picking color palletes and playing up your best features! She also was great to listen to what I wanted and altered her ideas to make sure the final look was exactly what I wanted. Day of the wedding she came to our location, and knocked out makeup for 8 girls in about 4 hours! She does a great job to make everyone look beautiful while adjusting the makeup so that everyone felt comfortable based on how much makeup they typically wear (or don't wear)! End result was a group of Gorgeous girls with flawless makeup that literally lasted until we had to wipe it off at the end of the night. LOVE HER! - Megan

Liz was amazing - both the trial run and the day-of makeup left me stunning, and she was quick and calm and very flexible. She also was quick to respond whenever I emailed her with questions and even left me with a cute little makeup-disaster kit for the rest of my day. She traveled over an hour at no additional charge, and was prepared and on-time. I could not have asked for better!

Liz is INCREDIBLE!! To be honest, I was worried about getting my makeup done for the wedding, so was my Mom. I found Liz online and through emails and phone conversations not only was I excited for my trial but she was SO sweet and professional! My mom and I did a makeup trial with her and we were SO impressed!! We had a BLAST and neither of us had ever felt more beautiful! Not only that, but on the day of the wedding was no different, we felt like princesses and every single one of my bridesmaids (3) and my Mother in law all decided to get theirs done after seeing our makeup! Everyone was so BEAUTIFUL!! Liz is such an amazing makeup artist, but not only that she made the getting ready experience fun and enjoyable!! I would HIGHLY recommend Makeup By Liz!!

By the way, my mom and I are scheduling a makeup lesson with her also! We can't wait!! Liz is amazing!! :D

Elizabeth was wonderful! She made me look so beautiful on my wedding day! She made me comfortable and helped me relax and even explained the product she was using so that I could attempt to replicate the look sometime in the future. I love Elizabeth! She did mine, two of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother in laws makeup on my wedding day. They all looked gorgeous! The moms were very concerned that the makeup wouldnt look right on them since they are "old", but they looked fantastic! Everyones makeup stayed all night also without budging. Very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend her!

Liz is SO good at her job! My makeup for my wedding looked incredible and flawless. I used the airbrush and she did my mom and two bridesmaids as well. We were all very happy!

I selected Makeup by Elizabeth for my 2013 wedding and could not have asked for a better makeup artist. Not only is she extremely professional, but she comes highly recommended and has an eye for detail. She knows the make up industry and what it takes to make a bride look amazing!

Liz from Makeup by Elizabeth did the wedding makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and mother in law and I'm so glad we decided to go with her! I highly recommend her. The fact that Liz will come on-site makes getting ready so convenient. She was very flexible and super easy to work with in scheduling the trial and figuring out the schedule for the wedding day. She has such a sweet and fun personality that she was a great addition to the day. If you are on the fence about getting wedding makeup done, it really is worth it. Thank you Elizabeth!!! My make up looked amazing - I got sooo many compliments and it lasted ALL DAY (and into the next day at the wedding afterparty!). The MOB, MOG and all the bridesmaids also looked perfect. Elizabeth is great at getting back to you via email / phone and was on time and ready the day of the wedding. If I could give her higher than a five I definitely would! She was amazing and made my bridal party and myself look better than I could have ever imagined! Liz is professional and very prompt, she is the only "vendor" I would recommend without hesitating. My new husband and I were a little nervous about how my makeup would look since I never wear makeup, but it looked phenomenal! It was very natural but classy and very "bridal." She was so friendly and easy to work with, also very time efficient - and our makeup lasted all day (even being outside in 96 degree weather)! She did a great job with every person in my bridal party - mothers, flowergirls, bridesmaids and myself; all of us which have very dIfferent skin types. I consider Liz one of the best choices I made for my daughter's wedding! She is very accomodating and puts you totally at ease at a time when stress is a factor. My daughter is already a beautiful girl so she needed less "work" than I did! We received so many compliments at the wedding and continue to receive them as friends and family look at photos from that day. Liz was able to make me look younger than my age and feel pretty on a very special day. Would recommend her to anyone considering this service without hesitation!

I feel so fortunate that I found Liz to be my makeup artist for the big day!!!

AIR BRUSH MAKEUP!!! It's very hard to find someone who does air brush in Kentucky... There are 1-2 also very talented makeup artists in the Louisville metro area, however, due to the limited availability, they are way booked... Liz does an amazing job with her airbrush makeup. The product she uses is very natural feeling, non-irritating; even one of my bridesmaids, who has super sensitive skin decided to go with Liz's makeup and she did not break out!

SHE LISTENS TO YOU!!! I am Asian, and I was honestly very nervous and skeptical before I met with Liz. After the trial run, I gave her some feedbacks on how I would prefer the look to be (i.e. nude lip stick instead of the more baige color, thicker eyeliners to make my eyes look rounder instead of longer, etc). She took the feedbacks very well and indeed made me feel beautiful on the big day. I felt amazing and glowing the whole night.

SHE TRAVELS!!! Liz is located in Covington, KY I believe. She goes all over the places and does weddings: louisville, lexington, cincy... Louisville is not that close to covington, and she did not even ask for gas or travel fee. I think this may and should change in the future as her business grows bigger. However, I think it really is going to be worth the little extra money.

SHE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! She arrived before our appointment times both for the trial run (she even traveled to Louisville for the trial run and did not charge me a penny!) and the wedding. She had all the products/tools ready. You would think this is a "must", but you really will appreciate not having to worry about anything makeup related that day. :) As for the free trial-run, again I think she may/should charge a small fee in the future; I almost felt guilty not having to pay...

Last but not least, You will feel not only BEAUTIFUL, GLOWING, but most importantly, NATURAL on your big day. Because she uses air brush makeup, it's so thin and feels just like your own skin. It is also LONG-WEARING, so you don't have to worry about sweating it off.

Seriously, if you are a bride-to-be who is open minded and wants to look absolutely gorgeous, please give Liz a try. She is still new to the Louisville market, but I have no doubt that she will get more and more business as her reputation spreads. I just want to say that I don't even know this girl on a personal level, but I do believe she deserves your business! :)

Elizabeth is both talented and professional. Her prices are resonable, and she was very flexible with appointments, which was important to me as I was planning my wedding out-of-state. She did a fabulous job and made me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. I would highly reccommend her.

She was great even when we sprang a couple of extra people on her at the last minute. The makeup was incredible. I had my wedding outside, in july. Even though I was sweating profusly, the makeup didn't budge and the pictures turned out spectacular.

Liz was great. I called her because I wanted airbrush makeup that would last all day. She did a great job with the foundation and it held up very well. What I did not expect was how much I loved the eye makeup, it was so pretty! I would definitely recommend Liz to other brides. She drove to Lexington for both my trial run and wedding day and was very flexible with my schedule.

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with. She made me very comfortable and really worked with me and what I liked and wanted to make sure I was happy and satisfied on my wedding day. I was not sure what I really wanted to do with my makeup since I had never had it professionally done before so she took the time to do trial runs with me, really listended to what I was going for and had many helpful suggestions which ultimately led to a great experience. She came to ME on the actual day so I didn't have to worry about traveling and the time it would take to get to and from a salon or somewhere else and I could just sit and relax while she did her magic. I highly recommend her!

Working with Liz was great. Having been a bride herself, she was able to relate to the emotions behind preparing for the wedding and marriage. She listened to what I wanted and got to know better who I was. We had fun trying different looks and her creativity and skill are amazing. Liz is AMAZING! I hadn't even considered having my makeup done for my wedding until a friend recommended her, and I'm SO glad I did! Having never had my makeup professionally done before, I didn't know what I wanted/needed at all, but by looking at just a few example pictures and through our consult & trial run, she was able to figure out exactly what looked best for me. AND her cost is incredible for the work she does.

I have got SO many compliments on my makeup, both the day of my wedding and from everyone who sees my pictures, and I recommend Liz to everyone I know who is getting married.

I wasn\'t planning on hiring a makeup artist for my wedding, but I\'m so glad that I did! I felt amazing on my wedding day and everyone told my I looked beautiful. Elizabeth worked with my budget to make it something possible for me. She also gave me tricks and tips for doing my makeup and gave me a touch-up kit to use through out the day. Amazing job!

Liz was amazing. She was so easy to work with and so incredibly kind. I'm not someone who wears a lot of makeup and knew I'd need a pro! I was nervous both about wearing a lot of makeup (didn't want to look "overdone") and about the wedding, but she really put me at ease. My makeup looked incredible, and she managed to get mine, my five bridesmaids, and our mothers done in under three hours. She is also very competitively priced. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to everyone I know!
