  Made me (and my party) feel & look beautiful

  Christina Choi was so lovely to work with. When she's doing your makeup, she makes you feel like the most beautiful person in the world. I loved our trial session--I brought the makeup I use on a daily basis, we talked about what kind of look I wanted, we did some experimentation, we talked about longevity and did color matching, etc. Before the day of, she coordinated with our day-of coordinator to come up with a schedule for my bridal party/family and made everyone up so beautifully. It was important for me to look glam but like myself, and looking back at the photos, Christina definitely achieved that. In terms of longevity, my makeup lasted all day through two ceremonies from 9am - 11pm in terms of foundation, lashes, and color. Through pictures, my sister powdered me once in the afternoon around 3pm, but that was it (which is shocking because it was 100+ degrees). I reapplied the lip product after eating.
  
  Another special thing is that as an Asian person, it meant a lot for Christina to do my makeup because I felt that she really understood how to do my makeup, how to work with my monolids; not to mention she has tons of experience prior with BareMinerals and her own namesake makeup line. If I were based in SF, I would definitely try to go to her makeup tutorials and workshops!

  I had an incredible experience with Christina Choi. She was a godsend on my wedding day. She gave me a beautiful, dramatic, but natural look that made me look glamorous but still feel like myself. I got so many compliments on that day and still do now, weeks later. Aside from her expert makeup artistry skills, Christina is very kind and listens carefully to what her client wants. I had had to fire the makeup artist I previously hired, so I was nervous and tense about using a new makeup artist on the wedding day. But, Christina acted like both a professional and a friend, and calmed my nerves while applying my makeup and lashes with a gentle hand. My makeup was comfortable and going strong, with no fading or creasing, after a 14-hour day! Christina also did my mother's makeup, making her look naturally beautiful--it was like seeing my mom as she was 30 years ago. I should also mention that Christina has her own line of beautiful color cosmetics, and I know from first-hand experience that they are top notch. It was a pleasure and honor working with Christina and I hope to do so again!

  Christina did my makeup for me, my sister and my mom for my wedding in Sept in Inverness. She was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. To start, I took way too long to get my makeup artist booked, and finally about 3 weeks before my wedding I found an artist and had a trial, only to realize that I wasn't totally happy w/ it. So now I had 2 weeks to find and book a makeup artist. I did research online (and on yelp) and contacted Christina. She replied right away, pricing was within my budget and she was very accommodating. I live in Southern CA and wasn't going to be able to have a trial before the wedding, but she asked for some photos, I shared some images I liked from pinterest and we emailed a few times about what I was looking for. She totally got it.
  The day of the wedding she arrived and was working alongside my hair stylist, and just did a wonderful job. She is calm, and professional. Very pleasant to chat with and have as part of the whole wedding "getting-ready" time.
  She used products from her line which were lovely. My sister and mom loved how they looked, and I truly loved what she did for me. I looked like an enhanced version of myself. I wanted to look like I was wearing makeup, but not too much. My makeup lasted and looked great in photos. I'd highly recommend Christina to anyone.

  I was lucky enough to have Christina do the makeup for my wedding. She drove up to Sonoma (where I got married) early in the morning to make sure there was enough time to do my makeup as well as my two bridesmaids and my mother.
  
  Christina has such an amazing hand - she is a true artist that has mastered her craft. The most important thing for my wedding day makeup was that I looked my best without being overdone with heavily caked makeup. She did not disappoint!! Christina made me the MOST beautiful I have ever been! My makeup looked incredible and highlighted all my features. I didn't look overdone in the slightest. She took the utmost time and care to make sure everything looked perfect - I could not have asked for anything more.
  
  Everyone in the wedding party was so happy with the way their makeup turned out. Some of them even switched over to the brand of makeup she was using because they loved their look so much!
  
  Let's back up a little and discuss our interactions before the wedding day. In my trial with Christina she was open and collaborative - she wanted to make sure she understood what I wanted to convey on my wedding day and what colors I wanted to use. She combined that information with my skin tone and came up with the amazing creation that turned me into a beautiful bride.
  
  She is incredible and worth every penny - it's your wedding day - remember that face will be in every picture.

  Christina was absolutely fabulous!! I was able to have a trial with her a few months before the wedding and she took the time to really make sure I was comfortable with my look. I really didn't know what I wanted for the wedding day look and Christina helped me decide exactly what would look best on me. She really is an artist. And I can't forget to mention her great line of cosmetics; they are fabulous! My mom adored Christina too!! She was very flexible as I kept adding girls to the make up schedule and she brought another amazing make up artist, Mauro, to ensure everyone could be done in time for the wedding. Couldn't have gone smoother and all of my bridesmaids and moms were very happy.

  My husband and I were married this past fall and went through many ordeals trying to set up our special day, Luckily, the makeup portion of getting ready for our big day was not an issue. I hired Christina initially to do a trial so I could get a better idea of what colors/ style/ intensity of makeup I wanted to wear on my wedding day. She was professional, on time, and relatable- she is a girl's girl, someone I definitely wanted there for me on my special day. During my trial we played with a few color schemes and looks and agreed on a plum smokey look with a rich, berry lip. On my wedding day we I had a more intense makeup that looked polished and elegant. My husband loved it too, and he hates a lot of makeup. Christina also did my mother's makeup an it was simply gorgeous. I am confident that no one else would have been such a good match for me on my special day! Christina, thank you for your exquisite skills and taste and making me feel do beautiful!

  Christina is as good as it gets. Talented, professional, trustworthy, accommodating, and did I mention talented!!! I flew her all the way from SF to NY to have her do makeup for my wedding because I only wanted the best of the best. She is so passionate about what she does and it really shows in her work. I couldn't recommend her enough.
