Christy Sent on 11/09/2011She was AMAZING! Originally we had booked another makeup artist who backed out at the last minute. I am SO glad we were able to have Yahaira do our makeup. She far surpassed my expectations. She was prompt, quick and a pleasure to have around that day. She gave each of us exactly what we asked for and she helped me stay calm and relaxed. I will ABSOLUTELY use her again in the future. -

Mrs Sent on 06/20/2013Bella and her assistant Joel were great! They did an amazing job on our hair and a reasonable price. The only thing I did not like was that we discussed we start at 9am and Bella and Joel arrived at 945am.. however, we did finish on time so it all worked out =). I would use them again, they know what they're doing when it comes to hair! -

Jenifer Sent on 05/12/2012Makeup by Bella provided hair and makeup services for my wedding on April 7, 2012. My makeup artist canceled last minute, and I was able to contact Makeup by Bella, and she agreed to do my hair and makeup, and makeup for a few bridesmaids, as well as MOB and MOG, later that week. FAST RESPONSE, which I was extremely thankful for. However, she brought with her an INEXPERIENCED hair dresser to do hair, although she claimed to be experienced. The hair dresser did a horrible job on both my mother and one of my bridesmaids, which we had to have a friend fix. Luckily, Makeup by Bella did both my hair and makeup, and it turned out great. The hairdresser she brought with her is not one that should ever do another person's hair. I am not one to write reviews, but I felt the need to write one for other brides that may be desperately looking for someone to provide hair and makeup. Makeup by Bella (the owner herself) also did my mother's makeup, and one of my bridesmaids makeup. It did not look nice at all, and again, we had to have a friend in the family redo their makeup. Before putting down my deposit, I explained that I had some people in the bridal party that would need makeup, and I would have to be done by 11am, in order to make it to the wedding in time. Makeup By Bella assured me that she will be there at 6-6:30 am, but didn't show up until almost 8am. MOG was on her way, when at around 9:30-10am, Makeup By Bella said she had to go, and could not wait, because she had another event to attend, so my MOG was unable to get her makeup done. As a business woman, she should know that weddings are always pretty hectic, and that you should never plan things so close together. At the end, Makeup by Bella gave me the total cost, since not everyone that needed makeup, got makeup done. I paid her and gave her a nice tip, even though she did a horrible job on 2 faces, and her "hair dresser" did a horrible job on hair for 2. Two minutes after she left, she called and said she forgot to charge me for one of the bridesmaids hair (WHAT PROFESSIONAL DOES THAT?), I told her that if she turned back around, I would go outside and give her the $, but she replied, "Well I already left, so just pay me on paypal Monday after the wedding!" On Monday, she sent me a reminder to pay her $40, and she added an additional $18 for stuff that had already been paid for, totaling $58. In other words, she was over charging me. I sat down and calculated everything (what each service costed, and how much I paid her on the day of the wedding), and realized I only "owed" her (Owed her, because she didn't want to turn back around for the $) $28. Therefore, I sent her a message letting her know how much I really owed her, and that's all I was going to pay for. To top it off, when I went to her for a trial session, she told me she would NOT charge a travel fee since the location was in Orlando, I told her it was in Poinciana, and her response was, "That's okay. I know where that's at. I won't charge a travel fee!" but the NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING, she sent me a message saying she was going to charge a travel fee. She was just very UNPROFESSIONAL, and although I looked great, and she was very fast and contacting me back...she was the most unprofessional business I have worked with, and what she charges should be way less, when compared to the quality of work she does. Like I said, I have never written a review, and I always said I would never write a bad review towards anyone, but I want to make sure other brides know about Makeup By Bella, before choosing this company to provide them with services.
