Excellent makeup services

I don't wear a lot of makeup to begin with so when I was looking for a make up vendor for my wedding day I was looking for a natural look. MABJ perfected this look for me. I was glowing on my wedding day but did not look overdone. They catered to everyone perfectly. They were very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!

Incredible!

Working with Jessie was the best decision. She was so easy to communicate with and plan everything, from the trial to the big day. She was so nice and flexible to work with ( I was in the west coast planning an east coast wedding). Her team is awesome! They made the getting ready process so relaxing and fun. All of my girls were extremely happy with the outcome and my look was beyond perfect! Highly recommended 🤩🤩🤩

Simply amazing

Jessie really made me feel like a princess. She is truly so sweet and the day of the wedding calms you down abs reassures you that everything will be beautiful. Ana is also amazing. She is sweet and makes sure you are completely satisfied with everything. Thank you Jessie abs team for being there with me on my special day!

Jessie and the MABJ Team are the BEST!!!

What can I say about Jessie and the MABJ team, they are so talented that AMAZING is not enough to describe them! Jessie was so great to work with, she made me feel so comfortable through our trial and day of wedding. I loved my trial soooo much that I had Jessie and her team do my hair and make up for my bridal shower and engagement shoot! On all 3 occasions everyone complimented me on my hair and make up!! They really do such a great job and they are always on time! The day of the wedding I had a large wedding party and they made sure we were on track to get everyone ready. I was a little stressed that day and Jessie made sure to create a more fun environment as we got ready! Thanks to her I went from stressed to feeling blessed in a matter of minutes! They made everyone looked amazing and our make up lasted to the next morning...intact!! Thanks to Jessie and MABJ team for making me feel so very special on my big day!!!

Jessie is an artist!

Jessie was my makeup artist for my wedding last month and she is truly an artist! She made us me and my bridal party look flawless! Ana, who is her hairstylist, also did an amazing job! The entire team with Jessie is great. They keep calm during such a hectic morning and knew how to make us all look and feel BEAUTIFUL!

Great Team to Work With

MABJ was my team for my wedding day and i LOVE them!! I worked with Vanessa for hair and Alessandria for makeup! They both made my vision come to life for my wedding day and I was so happy with my look!!!! Vanessa understood exactly what I wanted for my hair! Alessandria was amazing to work with and made me feel even more beautiful! Jessie was always professional and very prompt in responding to all my emails! Great TEAM!!!

Amazing! Great team

By far the best! The entire make up team was fantastic! They were on time, worked efficiently, and everyone looked beautiful. One thing I really liked was that the makeup they did on each person still made them look like themselves and not a different person. I love them, and would use them again for any event!

My husband and I got married on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Estancia Culinaria in Redlands,Florida. We hired you to do my hair ,my two daughter’s hair,my two flower girls hair, my niece, my sister and my mom’s hair .We want to thank you ! thank you ! Ana was extremely patient. After Makeup Artistry by Jessie was referred to me by two different brides, I knew I had to book them for my wedding day! Jessie and her team are beyond talented. They made me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day and were also so fun to work with. They not only did my hair and makeup but also my bridesmaid’s, mother’s, and godmother’s and everyone looked fantastic, even after a couple of hours on the dance floor! I am so glad I found Jessie and her team and know they’ll be doing my hair and makeup for any special events in the future!

The girls were on time and ready. They captured the idea of what we wanted for hair and makeup and were able to adapt it to our different hair types and complexions. They were willing to adjust them until pleasing for everybody. Very professionnal. Truly no complaints!
Most importantly Hair and makeup remained intact after long hours of ceremony, dancing, etc.. Until severe sweating because of so much partying hehe but still, great!!

I LOVED working with Jessie & her team! Jessie did my sister's wedding make-up a few years ago and as soon as I met her, we connected immediately! Years later when I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to work with her for my wedding! Jessie is a natural, funny, sweet & just understands how to make you feel beautiful and elegant!

When searching for a make up artist for my special day Jesse and her team were the first on my list. My sister in law hired Jesse for her wedding in 2012 and so did my best friend this February. After seeing her work on both of them I knew I was in great hands. From start to finish, Jesse and her team were so flexible and accommodating. Not only were they so helpful, but they were such a great group to have around and brought so much joy during the getting ready portion of the day. I can’t thank Jesse and her team enough for making me feel stunning on the best day of my life. She will forever be my go to girl.

Everything happens for a reason. I almost hired a different make-up artist, however, she backed out after I paid for a trial, and thank goodness for that because the artists from Makeup Artistry by Jessie that worked on me and my bridesmaids were so much better, both in their artistry and personality. Christel did my make-up and she was amazing. She was on-time to the venue, did beautiful work and was so sweet. Arlene did my hair, and oh my gosh, my hair came out better than I had ever imagined! I didn't get to meet Jessie in person, but I spoke to her over the phone and via email and she was SUCH a sweetheart. She went above and beyond to accommodated a large bridal party and then some, all without a single complaint.

Jessie and Jenise were absolutely amazing!! I'm so truly happy I chose Jessie to do my make up for my wedding. I'm extremely picky and even though she was highly recommended by so many friends, I was still hesitant. I have tried so many make up artists in the past including celebrity make up artists for different events and I was never happy with the results. I was really afraid about not finding the right make up artist for my wedding. I decided to do a trial with Jessie and I loved her from the moment I met her. I absolutely loved her personality. She is so sweet, genuine, fun, friendly and she was extremely kind and patient with all my requests and always very professional. She was extremely accommodating and truly understood what I wanted for my special day and I was so blown away by the incredible job she did with my make up. She is truly the best and the most experienced make up artist I have ever hired. Jessie and Jenise were so incredible and they made everybody feel so beautiful on my wedding day, myself, my mother, my sisters, nieces and my bridal party. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and flawless. The most beautiful make up I have seen and it lasted the whole entire day and evening even after I jumped into the pool with my groom at the end of the party. Jessie and Jenise were so great and friendly, it felt like they were family and we had a blast with both of them throughout the day. Jessie is very responsive and she has a team that are always on time for their appointments. Jessie will work with you and your make up decisions, she will do consulting and with no problem will suggest what looks best on you. All the make products she use lasted for the entire night. Same for the hair Ana was able to match what I had envision. I would recommend Jessie and her team any time.

Jessie is honestly so amazing. She is always on time, so sweet, and truly makes you feel beautiful. Makeup is not a job for her. She genuinely loves what she does – she is all about the bride and weddings! She listens to what you want and will give you suggestions but will always keep with your vision. Everyone looked flawless on my wedding day! She really goes above and beyond for her clients. She even stayed later for me after makeup was done to accommodate my veil when my hair team rushed out and didn’t even bother securing it for me. She and Lis (from her team) made up my bridesmaids, mother, grandmother, great aunt, and me. Every single one of us left the makeup chair happy and feeling great! Everyone’s makeup looked fresh throughout the day and into the night. Jessie also has such a positive attitude and gives great advice. I left her makeup chair feeling like a super model! The MABJ team was exactly what I was looking for on my special day. Not only were they friendly, professional, extremely patient (we had many small children running around thotel that day) but fun. Their make up skills were flawless as well as their hair styling. All my bridesmaids looked impeccable and the hair and make up team showed a wide range of versatility in my 6 bridesmaids. All my bridesmaid were happy and felt as beautiful as did I. I used their airbrush makeup and I really recommend it to all each and every bride. Just got my pictures and my face looked amazing. Most importantly Jessie and Ana were so funny and spirited!

I can't say ENOUGH good things about Jessie and her team! They traveled to the Bahamas for my wedding and became like family to us during the weekend. Jessie (makeup extraordinaire) and Arlene (hair!!) were AWESOME!! They did exactly what we talked about during the trial and were flexible with me when I wanted to make a couple of last minute tweaks. They did the hair and makeup for my entire family and were on time, efficient and fun to be around on the wedding day. They also helped get me into my wedding dress and my Mom into her dress. They were a pleasure to be around and so so helpful! I plan to use their services again for an upcoming event I am having. I would recommend them 150%%%%% to anyone having a wedding or being in a wedding. They are not only excellent at what they do, but they are wonderful people too!

Such a wonderful experience with Jessie and her team. I was feeling so nervous all morning and once Jessie arrived, things changed. I worked with Jessie (make up) and Ana (hair) before my wedding. Both were great. All the ladies including myself remained gorgeous all night. My makeup remained impeccable all night and survived Florida heat, hours of dancing and constant hugs and kisses of all my guests! Jessie an her team are extremely nice to work with from customer service perspective and professional perspective. I will definitely use them again.

I had been following makeupartistrybyjessie on Instagram long before my wedding, and I always knew I wanted to use them on my big day for hair and makeup. Before even scheduling a trial, I called Jessie to check on her availability. I basically picked my wedding date based on when she was available because I knew that I NEEDED to have her and her team that day. I did 2 trials - one for my engagement party and one for my bridal shower. Ana, who did my hair was very flexible in trying whatever I wanted and in one trial we tried 3 variations of a hairstyle until we found the perfect one!
On my wedding day, I had 6 bridesmaids, 2 jr bridesmaids and my mom and I that needed hair and makeup. Jessie and Ana did such a great job at staying on schedule and making sure we did not run late. I have to say that they are the VERY BEST and so talented at what they do. We all looked absolutely stunning and received so many compliments on our hair/makeup look. Getting married in Miami in June means that there is a lot of heat and humidity to deal with, but after a long night of dancing, sweating, drinking, and partying, I woke up the next morning and my airbrush makeup was still intact! I would recommend this team HANDS DOWN for your big day or any day!! Can't wait for the next event I have so I can use them again!!

If you want to look and feel like a super star on your Wedding Day you need to book Makeup Artistry by Jessie and her team, she will bring out your best features and take them to a whole other level of fabulous! Her hairstylist Ana is incredibly talented as well and so accommodating, patient and fun to be around! This is another vendor who obviously LOVES what she does, it shows in her customer service, professionalism, and her talent! Jessie truly makes you look flawless, is easy to work with, and just has fun while making you up. Time and time again, people look at our wedding trailer and ask me "who did your makeup?!" I was so happy to have Jessie do my makeup for my big day. I will start by saying that the result surpassed my expectations (and they were pretty high!) and she was absolutely lovely to work with. She was flexible, professional, and simply talented. She worked fast, but not rushed, and was able to flawlessly complete the makeup for four bridesmaids and for me all before 11:30AM. Everyone was very happy with the results. I can honestly say I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone and I will definitely work with her again.

Jessie and Ana are wonderful!!!! What a duo!!!! Jessie did a phenomenal job on my makeup. I showed her what I wanted and I got exactly what I asked for. I absolutely LOVE Jessie and her team!! They did a phenomenal job not only on me, but on everyone in my bridal party! Almost all my girls got their hair done and she did a fabulous job giving everyone what they wanted and what was best for their hair...some of my bridesmaids got makeup done and she did a great job...but the rest of them loved her eyelashes so much that she ended up putting eyelashes on almost everyone. (Nice alternative for bridesmaids who don't want full makeup) I got a lot of compliments from friends who got married before me and were impressed with the quality of her as a vendor--some were even asking if she traveled! The prices are comparable to other vendors of her quality--but the best part is Jessie is herself an awesome person. You spend a lot of time with you makeup artists on the day of so its a good thing when you get along and she makes the day go by smoothly. Definitely Recommended over and over again!!

Jessie was absolutely AMAZING!!! She made me look like a real princess on my wedding day! I went through 4 trails before seeing her work at a bridal show that was held at the Westin Colonnade. She understood the look I was going for and she made it happen. My husband whispered in my ear that I looked like a new woman!!! Thank you Jessie for making me so beautiful! Jessie was the first vendor I booked and the only make up artist I even tried out. I knew from the beginning that I wanted her to do my most important make up job ever! Jessie was incredibly professional, funny and most importantly, the girl is as talented as they come! She was really honest with me about what she thought would look good and I'm so glad I listened because my make up and that of my bridesmaids was flawless. She was also incredibly patient with me while I went through about 10 different lip stick shades. My make up stayed on all night and I got so many compliments on how great it looked. Jessie is just a gem of a human being and so, so talented to boot. She suggested a makeup style I'd never tried before and I went for it. EVERYONE was freaking out over how awesome I looked. Jessie really knows her stuff. She's also an incredibly sweet person and really a fun addition to your wedding day "team." I'd work with her again in a heartbeat. i have been using jessie for makeup for about 10 years, even before she became "makeup artistry by jessie".

jessie did my makeup for my bridal shower and i looked great even considering the "sunburn" i got from the tanning salon the day before, yikes. she was able to tone down the burn and make it into a soft shimmering glow. i looked radiant!!

i hired her team for my whole bridal party. jessie was super responsive during planning. she is always willing to go above and beyond, even assisting my wedding planners in creating the day of beauty schedule. although she wasnt even working my wedding since she was 8 months pregnant she helped every step of the way.

osi and monica were both great - quiet, calm, friendly, and fast. all of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous even 12 hours later at 2 am. they worked so well they were even able to squeeze in 2 last minute friends who were visiting my suite and wanted to get made up.

2 months after my wedding i decided to do an "after shoot" i contracted jenise to spend several hours with me at 3 different locations and do 2 different makeup looks. she was AWESOME!!!
seriously she was a blast to spend the day with and even assisted the photographer with his equipment, she was willing to do whatever it took to get the best shots and make sure my lip gloss was fresh and that i was not getting oily - summer weather in miami - it went from 91 degrees and not a cloud in the sky to a severe thunderstorm where we got very wet. in the pictures you would never be able to tell, my makeup looks flawless the whole time.

Makeup Artistry by Jessie did the make-up for my entire HUGE bridal party and did an amazing job! The girls looked stunning and their make-up lasted all night long. Osi was extremely patient with the large and loud bridal party. She made everyone feel at ease and the craziness at my house did not affect her great work. I would highly recommend MABJ. Remember to allow plenty of time for hair and makeup for the bride. It's better than you're done earlier and have time for pictures and to enjoy the moment than to be rushing.

LOOK NO FURTHER when it comes to make up!!!!

Jessie is professional, fun, and amazing at what she does. She did my make up for engagement pictures, boudoir pictures, bridal shower, and wedding day. For each event, she gave me a different look - fun, sexy, daytime/simple, and classic. I was happy with all.

I only had one trial - she really took the time to get to know me / my style. We talked about different looks, what would look better based on my wedding style, eye color, face shape, hair, etc. I tried a different look on each eye. She took her time, fixed anything I asked her to fix, and just made me look beautiful. By the time wedding day came around, she knew my face perfectly. When I looked in the mirror after she finished, my eyes filled with tears... I stopped myself, thank god... didn't want to ruin my eye make-up.

Since my wedding was a destination wedding, I booked Jessie based soley on reviews from Wedding Wire and Project Wedding and I am so happy with my decision! Jessie was wonderful and so friendly! I am so happy I has Jessie as my makeup artist! She made me feel extra confident and beautiful on my wedding. I usually don't wear makeup so Jessie took it onto herself to teach me and choose the right shade for me. The makeup was not overpowering and it looked flawless. She applied makeup at 5 pm, my ceremony was at 6:30 pm and by 3 am, my makeup still looked fresh and wonderful. She uses only the best products and she has a great sense of humor. I love her! Makeup Artistry by Jessie always does an incredible and professional job. Jessie has a way of looking at your outfit and your facial features and being able to determine what is the best approach for you. At first it is difficult to hand full control over your makeup especially on those really special occasions, but after years of Jessie being my only make artist I have learned to simply show her my outfit. From there Jessie has full control from color to approach. Her style is truly unique, but she also terrific at taking directions if you absolutely want a certain look.

If you have the rare pleasure to attend one of Jessie's makeup classes I highly recommend them. She will show you simple techniques for everyday use or evening wear. My technique has drastically changed I have received multiple compliments as a result.

Makeup Artistry by Jessie is a truly fantastic makeup provider. She did my bridal shower, wedding and tons of other events before and since then from others weddings to galas. Jessie is a gifted and talented individual who will also make your special day that much better with her incredible personality.

back in 2004 i was planning my wedding and overheard some highschool girls talking at chicken kitchen about this makeup artist they were using for their christmas formal.
i asked some questions and decided to book this new girl jessie, although i didnt know much about her.
i took a gamble and couldnt have been happier.
i can honestly say i looked the prettiest i have ever looked on my wedding day. yes i was beyond happy and glowing and the dress and shoes and jewels all helped, but my face/makeup was flawless.

I got married in January 2016. Andrea was our hair stylist and Jenise was the makeup artist and all I can say is WOW!!! They both did a phenomenal job. Everyone looked absolutely stunning, they were extremely professional and so fun to be around. They asked what we wanted and exceeded expectations. Osira did a fantastic job with my make-up for my wedding! I absolutely loved the colors she used - they complimented my whole outfit perfectly! She got the make-up done pretty quickly and it looked absolutely stunning.

I love, love, looove Jessie and her team! They were so nice and fun to be around, which you want on your big day. Jessie worked with me on figuring out my eye shadow until I finally felt comfortable, which was not quick because I do not wear it often enough to know what I like. Not only did I feel beautiful on that day but looking at the photos and how the makeup came out is stunning. I also had my hair done by Anna (sp.) and she was fantastic. She listened to the tiny details of what I wanted and made adjustments until it was perfect. My bridesmaids loved working with her, as well, and commented on how she didn't settle when a look was done but, instead, would even see something she didn't like and fix it.

There is only one con, if you could even call it that - the team is very busy so scheduling can be difficult if you aren't from the area or don't have a flexible schedule for trials. That's it though. Give them your availability as soon as you can because they are so, so worth it.

I 100% recommend Jessie and her team!

Let's start from the beginning... I called Jessie, and she was lovely and very helpful. It turns out that because she was pregnant, she wasn't going to be able to do my wedding, so she recommended Andrea for hair, and Osira for make up.
Let's start with Andrea, when I went to the trial, after telling her that Jessie had sent me, she offered to do my hair and my make-up for a much lower price than what Jessie had said, so I figured why not... her work was nice, and it was MUCH more affordable. Since Jessie sent me to her, I figured that's how it worked. As time passed, I decided to try the make up with Osira even though her price was higher. I am not really a make up person, and I wanted something beautiful but light, my biggest fear was to hug someone and leave the imprint of my face on their shirt (more on that later...). I tried Osira's make up and it was BEAUTIFUL! I mentioned I wanted to work with her, but that Andrea had offered me a lower price... Oh what a mistake! The next day, Jessie called me to see if I wanted to work with Osira and I said no (because of the price), that I was going to work with Andrea... and she replied that Andrea wouldn't be available t work with me either! I don't know what happened between them, but all of a sudden I was out of options and I just didn't want to keep spending all that money on make up trials. After a lot of back and forth and discussion, Jessie tried to make it all better. She was gracious enough to not charge me for my make up, just my bridal party, and to book Osira for me. I really do appreciate how she tried to fix the situation, and honestly I was very happy to continue to work with her. If it wasn't for the Andrea incident, everything would have been perfect! Jessie was always so nice (besides the Andrea incident), and Osira did beautiful make up.
Let's fast forward to the wedding... Osira got there late (15 to 20 minutes late)... She kept complaining about the room temperature (she felt too hot, mind you the hair girl who was actually working with hot tools never complained, and we tried to lower the temperature for her but it wasn't cool enough) and she seem aggravated. She also kept making comments about how at some weddings they don't even have food for the make-up girl (my wedding)... she was supposed to be there from 3 to 4:30-5 pm (only two people were getting their make up done)... I don't think that justifies that we feed her. Also, none of us were getting any food... if my 5 year old sister was able to handle it, I can't believe she wasn't. She should've had lunch before coming... we did! Then, my mom (who is not a fan of heavy make up), said she wasn't liking the make up much... and that just continued to aggravate Osira... So you can imagine... NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE... As far as the make up... well like I feared, I left the imprint of my face on my stepdad's tuxedo jacket when he was giving me away. When she put on my fake eye lashes one was uncomfortable, and she seemed bothered by trying to fix it... they were also clumped together (ugly) and she also seemed bothered by trying to fix it(she said they were supposed to be clumped... who likes clumped eyelashes?)... And maybe because of all of the mad mojo, I didn't feel the make up was a beautiful as the trial...
I am sorry to write such a negative review, but that's the experience I had, and I wish it would have been much better. I do appreciate Jessie trying to fix the situation, but in the end, the experience I had on the wedding day was very uncomfortable.

Only negative review for my entire wedding and probably the most difficult to write since the final outcome and service delivered by LIS & ANA were amazing but until we got there, all the involved stress should have been avoided.
I don`t usually wear make up and did a lot of research until deciding to hire Jessie. Saw her work online and in general it looked very natural, which is what I was looking for. I booked Jessie in May *9 months before my wedding and did everything she imposed in order to have her as the make up artist in my wedding day: agreed to a minimum # of girls even if I didn`t need that much, sent a deposit & did a (paid) trial make up to be reassured everything would be smooth the day of my wedding. To my surprise, the week of the wedding I received a text from Jessie, who supposedly had a “family emergency” (as she phrased) and could not honor her commitment to do our make up the day of the wedding. She offered Lis, who ended up doing an amazing job, and with whom I had to do another trial (it was the week of my wedding, I had over 100 people from out of town to entertain but had to make time to do another trial and make sure the make up would be according to my expectations).
At the end everything worked and we were very satisfied with how we looked but I`m leaving this detailed review as I felt extremely disrespected when, the day of my wedding, I saw pictures of Jessie in her “family emergency” which to me looked much more as a party… As a business owner, I would have expected Jessie`s vision to be a lot broader and if not to protect her own image and business, at least for respect you should not cause this unnecessary stress for a bride the week of her wedding! If you can hire Lis & Ana independently I would definitely recommend – otherwise I`d suggest to look for professionals & business owners that understand the impact of their decisions and will respect you and your special day!

Jessie was insensitive and completely indifferent when I contacted her about our horrible experience with Stephanie- one of her make up artist. The make up artist almost ruined my daughter's wedding day becoming disruptive, immature and emotionally unbalanced. The intimate most precious moment became a nightmare... I have to also add that the Jessie did not take the time to make a telephone call to me, she preferred to text me and that's how she handled the situation!
