Tammie and her team made our day everything we could have dreamed of. She goes above and beyond and far exceeded every expectation. Camellia Farm Floral is a little gem! Their floral designs and set-up are BEAUTIFUL! I truly had the best time working with Tammie and her team. Her responsiveness from the beginning made working with her so easy. I was planning my wedding from out of state and she planned many phone meetings to ensure that we were on the same page. I gave her my pinterest vision and she made my dreams come true and made my wedding even more beautiful than expected. She understood exactly what I wanted and continued to say "yes" to my additions or changes. Not only did she create beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for me but she also created a lovely stage piece, set up pipe and draping, had a hedge wall and mirrors for seating for me to rent. Going through one place for all of my rentals made everything very easy. I learned through the process that some vendors don't start thinking of your wedding until the week of- I never felt this way with Tammie. She always was fully involved through the whole process. I can't recommend her and her team enough!

WOW!!!! Tammie was AMAZING!!!! First of all, my fiancé and I had a very short engagement...less than 5 months, so I already felt a bit behind on planning from the get go. So, I feared that finding a good florist in such a short time was going to be next to impossible. I contacted Tammie after she was referred to me by a friend, hoping that she would be able to do my wedding on such a time crunch. AND, she could!! AND she didn't make me feel totally dumb for trying to plan an entire wedding in such a short time! She met with me, and listened to what I was wanting, and had me send lots of "inspiration pictures." She was able to make my wedding more beautiful and magical than I could have ever envisioned! My flowers were BEAUTIFUL
We were the lucky winners of a contest Tammie did back in the winter. I really had no idea what I wanted when it came to florals. I sent Tammie some inspiration pictures and she knocked it out of the park! Tammie also made us a wreath for our cross and it was BEAUTIFUL. I was worried about how a wreath would look because the cross my FIL made was HUGE. We were shorted one bridesmaid bouquet/toss bouquet (not sure which one it was) however I do not blame Tammie for that! We had communicated back and forth so much even I couldn’t keep straight all the changes and additions we made. Thank you, Tammie for helping make this day so special and so beautiful!!

Tammie and her team were incredible! She was so patient and flexible with me through the planning process every time I emailed or called her to make a change. You could tell she was completely invested in making sure she would capture what we were looking for. When I had questions she was happy to call me and chat about the designs and make any changes we wanted. After seeing her design plans for our day and other works she has created I felt completely confident in letting her be creative and make changes she felt would go well. Tammie was so perfect to work with. She made our wedding a dream. From the start, Tammie was very attentive to exactly what I wanted, she was very thorough on what types of flowers, the budget, and the vision. The day of my bridal shoot she even drove all the way out to Dallas to meet me to give me my bouquet cause I wasn't able to meet beforehand. The week of our wedding it rained every single day, forcing us to move the ceremony indoors. Tammie and her team worked to create her beautiful moongate that I was obsessed with. My friends and family are STILL raving over how beautiful the floral was at our wedding day. I was speechless when I saw how beautiful she made the entire place. My wife and I did not know exactly what flowers we wanted, so we met with Tammy and gave her our thoughts and left the rest up to her...we had a color scheme in mind and knew that we wanted greenery incorporated with loose bouquets. She made our bouquets so personal--my wife had an assortment of special flowers from her home country of Zimbabwe, while I had a bouquet that matched my bridesmaids. She also made an amazing floating arrangement for our kings table that we had many guests comment on. We added a ton of candles to the arrangements as well. Tammie was AMAZING. Super responsive and willing to work with my budget. I sent her a few images of what I was thinking along with my color scheme and she came up with some stunning arrangements. Personally, I don’t know a lot about flowers so I deferred to her judgement on some items, but when I saw my bouquet I wanted to cry it was so beautiful! I’d recommend using her wholeheartedly. She was a joy to work with.

Tammi was absolutely amazing. We pulled together a wedding within three weeks and evan made changes to our florals a few days out. Tammi was accommodating and flexible and prompt and professional! Everything was extremely beautiful with all the flowers and all the guests were in love with everything she provided for the wedding . Thank you Tammi!!

I knew when I eloped that I wanted MakeScents to provide my flowers. My flowers were packaged for travel upon pick up and the venue manager went on and on about just how beautiful they were. They were perfect and I would highly recommend.

Miss Tammi Warner owner of MakeScents Floral & Design is not only a pleasure to work with, but truly a Artist! She transformed our daughters wedding into a vision of perfection. Tammi was very professional and fun to work with, Everyone that saw the work that she did for the wedding was blown away by the beauty and artistry of her work! The flowers truly made a stunning statement for our Great Gatsby Theme. If you are looking for a Florist , I would highly recommend her.

I loved working with Tammie! From the moment we met, I knew she would be perfect florist to complete my vision for my wedding. She has years for experience and knows what flowers are in season or alternate flowers to help you stay within your budget. Tammie even created the arrangements for my rehearsal dinner. They turned out more beautiful than the Pinterest picture. Working with Tammie, you are working with a woman owned local business! You can guarantee creative floral arrangements for her!

Tammy was wonderful to work with. I wasn't able to meet with her before the wedding since we lived in California. I was able to meet her right before the reception! Most of our communication was through email and all she had to go off was were my inspiration pics. That's it. She worked with my tight budget and I was lucky I found her because I wouldn't have gotten the attention and quality of service if I had gone to another company.
When I walked into the reception I was amazed! I knew Tammy was great, but she exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and I had so many comments on the centerpieces! I have no regrets at all with hiring Tammy to do our wedding!

I can't thank Tammie enough for all of her help. Prior to the wedding, we communicated via email. I let her know what I needed for my wedding: bouquets, boutioneers, and corsages. I explained to her what I was looking for, as far as colors, and sent a few pictures of bouquets I liked. She offered ideas and helpful tips. When I arrived to my venue on my wedding day, my flowers were waiting in my room and they were gorgeous! Everything was exactly as I'd hoped for if not better. The boutioneers were awesome, they guys even liked them. My bridesmaids loved their bouquets and I was thrilled with how mine turned out! It smelt and looked wonderful. I got so many compliments on it. Everything was perfect.

Wonderful! This woman is amazing. She braved the ice to make this wedding happen and did the most AMAZING job. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of. So professional and the best in the business. I have 2 daughters that will be being married in the future and I will most definately be using this woman again. Tammie was awesome! She knew we were on a budget and with that in mind showed me flowers that were in our price range and that fit my theme! She did the arrangements for the tables, flowers on the arch, and flowers on the cake as well as flowers for my hair, my maid of honor and the flower girl's hair. She was very open with us on what would work due to the heat in the summer and it being an outdoor wedding. She used flowers that would last and stay beautiful! She is very professional and is great at what she does!! Thanks Tammie for being so great at what you do!!!

Hi my name is Brianna Johnson and my wedding was on September 17, 2012. The flowers were done by makescents event design. I was absolutely pleased with all of the decorations, my theme was a country/ rustic theme with pale pink flowers combined with small sunflowers. When I walked in and saw how everything came together at the ceremony location and reception my breath was taken away. It was beautiful and more than anything I could have dreamed of. She absolutely captured everything I had told her that I wanted and more. Her prices were excellent and I would definitely recommend her to all of my friends. Thank you again!!

I used Tammie for my wedding flowers and decor and pretty much gave her free reign to do what she wanted. The day turned out perfect and her arrangements were GORGEOUS!! I couldnt have asked for a better florist. She's friendly, extremely creative and will work with your budget. She is just AWESOME!!

Tammie was a great help! She kept us focused and organized. The day of the wedding we didn't have to stress out with worry because Tammie and her staff handled every sitituation with ease and professionalism. The flowers were awesome and so much more than we expected, considering that she only saw the pictures of what the bride wanted only once when we first met and she hit it dead on! She handled the catering for us as well and Sagebrush Cafe in Bridgeport was the best choice. We expressed what we wanted in food choices and they delivered. Our guest asked repeatedly all night who did the catering and we were pleased to tell them. Patrica Burn made the bride and groom's cakes and they were masterpieces! Once again Tammie gave us an excellent choice for the cakes as well.
If you are looking for someone who will work with you and is easy to work with I would highly recommend Tammie Thomas and Make scents Floral and Event Design.

I have done business with Tami for a number of years. Her floral designs are always one of a kind and so well done. She thinks outside the normal box and I could not reccomend her highly enough. Things are always ready when she says they will be and she is very reasonable in her pricing.
