  Absolutely Incredible!

  Makenzie is an AMAZING photographer. Her and her husband are very talented, and also just wonderful people. Engagement photos were super easy and fun for my husband and I. We were nervous since we aren’t really picture posers, but Makenzie knows exactly what she’s doing. On the wedding day, Makenzie and Brock were full of joy, excitement, and handled everyone so well. I can’t say enough about how wonderful these people are!! She asked me how I was doing, suggested breaks if I needed them, and took great care of me. And the important photography part, her images are incredible! She literally can turn anything and anywhere into these magical, glowing, dreamy photos. I will have no regrets getting to keep these photos for the rest of my life to look back on! So gorgeous! And! She got us our sneak peak photos (a lot of them) literally the morning after our wedding. It was so nice to immediately send them to family and share photos with socials, and others that couldn’t be at the wedding. Also, they came all the way down to San Clemente for our wedding. Thank you Makenzie and Brock, you’re the best!

  The BEST Around!!

  If you are looking for the absolute best, then Makenzie is your girl! From our first meeting until long after our wedding was over, Makenzie was professional, hard working, kind, and extremely genuine. I have never seen a more effective, energetic team than her and her assistants/partners. She works flawlessly with other vendors to make sure everything is done right and exactly how we wanted. If you book with Makenzie you will not be disappointed! Her work is absolutely stunning and more than you could ever expect!

  Makenzie is brilliant!! I am so ecstatic we were able to find her. She is so creative and knows exactly how to make such an ugly background and make it look beautiful. In her office, she has pictures and most of them have stories behind them of how hideous the places she chose to do pictures at but once seeing the actual picture, it was just gorgeous. She really has that special quality for taking pictures and I would definitely hire her again. She knows exactly what she is doing.

  Makenzie is SUCH an incredible person and photographer! She did our engagements in San Luis Obispo and our wedding pictures in Santa Barbara and I truly could not be happier... She is based in Bakersfield, but is willing to travel anywhere, for a slight fee. She's very professional, has high quality work, and is fairly priced. She really captured our special day so perfectly, and I am planning on getting all of my family and event photographs taken by her from here on out.

  The best photographer in Bakersfield. She did such an amazing job on my Son's wedding. She captured the moments with perfection. I would recommend her to anyone wishing to have the most important moments captured.

  My family booked Makenzie as the wedding photographer for my wedding, which took place in spring 2016.
  
  I have very few regrets from my wedding day, but one of them is that I chose Makenzie to be our wedding photographer. If I had known the quality of service and photographs that I would receive, I would not have trusted her with documenting any occasion, let alone one of the most important days of my life.
  
  These are the main reasons as to why I regret choosing Makenzie Photography:
  1.Some of the wedding photos were lost in her care.
  - based on the information she's provided, it is unknown how many and which ones
  2.Some of the posed wedding photos that we did receive are blurry, have one of the subject’s eyes closed, and/or have one of the subjects cut out of the picture.
  3.Due to the lost photos and other poor images, I requested to see the photos from the wedding footage and choose more to be edited. She refused.
  4.In my opinion, she made poor choices when photographing on the wedding day.
  - tops of subjects' heads cut off in some photos, did not take photos of commonly photographed details (my wedding dress by itself, a picture of just the cake, etc.)
  5.The wedding photos were delivered late.
  6.She practiced poor communication, in my opinion, sometimes taking a week or more to respond to messages.
  7.She never provided a contract after I requested one several times.
  8.She posted our wedding photos to her personal Facebook profile (which she uses for business) without notice or permission.
  - I also had to request these photos from her, because they were not all included in our collection at first.
  
  In my opinion, Makenzie’s behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and reflective of a disregard for the magnitude of photographing someone’s wedding. There are plenty of similarly priced photographers in Bakersfield that I would recommend considering.
