Amazing natural makeup for bride, bridesmaids and moms!

I found Laura somewhat last minute (summer 2021 for a fall 2021 wedding) after having a trial with another makeup vendor who gave me a much heavier look than I was going for. The trial with Laura was a breath of fresh air and I felt so much more comfortable! She totally nailed the natural look and was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We hired her for makeup for me as the bride, three bridesmaids, and two moms. My mom never wears makeup but wanted to get dolled up for the big day, and was super happy with her look. Laura came to our hotel, brought all her equipment including a tall chair, and finished with time to spare before we had to go get dressed. If you're looking for someone patient and relaxed, who will listen to what you want and then apply it with remarkable skill, I definitely recommend Laura!

Make Me Up Bridal was awesome to work with! They did the hair and makeup for my wedding in May and everyone looked great. Laura was easy to communicate with and gave great suggestions about makeup and hair styles. I had a consultation with Laura in November 2019, but then postponed our June 2020 wedding to May 2021 and my hairstyle had completely changed in this time frame. I was able to communicate with Laura ahead of time to discuss and decide on a style. Everything turned out great and I highly recommend them to any bride!

Absolutely amazing team at Make Me Up Bridal !

I found out about Make Me Up Bridal on wedding wire - about 2 weeks before my wedding! From the time I contacted Laura [for a last minute appointment] to the day of the wedding, I was at ease that things were going to be just fine!
A bit of my background - I am from Pakistan and my husband is from Ireland. I was wearing a traditional outfit and wanted someone who could understand my skin tone and makeup needs, the color contrast and especially that I was going to wear a dupatta [ head scarf draped in a specific way]. When I approached Laura via wedding wire, she responded to me asap and was very interested to learn and work with me. My trial was made easy by having the hair and makeup at the same time. I was very happy that they took their time and worked with me patiently.
I also had requested that Make Me UP Bridal help me with my family members hair and makeup as they were traveling from abroad and would not have time to have any trial period.
Laura was very diligent around her communication up to the wedding day and made a schedule that worked for us. Both Laura and Beth were punctual , professional and so easy to communicate with. Because the hair and make up and rest of the dress up went so smoothly the rest of my day was a blast... The make up was light and held up all through the day , the hair looked great even after I took the dupatta out and danced the night away!
I may have lucked out getting an appointment at the last minute but I would recommend them without any hesitation. They were FABULOUS!

Laura and Bonnie were absolutely amazing! Of all the vendors I worked with for my wedding, they were the best! From the trials, to the follow-ups and scheduling, to the big day, Laura was very responsive and accommodating and Bonnie was super helpful when selecting a hairstyle. They were on time and kept everyone on schedule and were of course incredibly pleasant and professional. All 8 of us looked and felt gorgeous and were very happy with our hair and make-up which lasted all day and night! Thank you again for your services! Would highly recommend them to anyone!

wonderful makeup artist

Laura and her team were fantastic! I had a very special look that I wanted for my eye makeup and she did not stop during our makeup trail to make sure she got it right!!! September 2019 Wedding

I could not have made a better decision than going with Make Me Up Bridal for my wedding this past September! Laura was great at responding to all of my initial emails and setting up a trial, letting me bring my maid of honor along! She was responsive to questions leading up to the day of as well. The day was extremely organized and I was relieved to be provided an estimated day of hair and makeup schedule and timeline! Laura and Beth were both extremely professional, prompt and talented! They listened to what each of my bridesmaids and mom had wanted and they were all thrilled as well! I don’t typically wear makeup and I was happy to have a simple yet elegant look that didn’t feel like too much makeup either! All of our hair and makeup lasted well past all of the dancing and running around! April 2019 Wedding

I am so happy I hired Laura and Bonnie to do me and my bridesmaids hair and make up for my wedding day. Laura is super responsive through email, I never waited more than a day to hear back from her. My consultation was done at her home on a Sunday morning in November for my April wedding. After my consultation I knew she was exactly what I was looking for.

The day of the wedding, Bonnie, Laura and a make up assistant arrived promptly and started with the bridesmaids. Leading up to the wedding, I received a schedule of my 7 bridesmaids, myself, MOB, MOG, my grandmother and flower girl. Everything was organized and professional.
All the girls loved their make up and hair!
A few of my bridesmaid and mother of the groom were nervous about having make up done since they rarely ever wear make up. After everything was done, they were amazed by how natural Laura had done their make up and loved it!

Bonnie did an amazing job with mine and the girls hair. The bridesmaid showed her a picture of what they would like done and she executed it perfectly! She put my clip in extensions in with curls and they looked amazing and natural.

I would recommend Make Me Up Bridal to anybody looking for services for the wedding day. Everything flowed smoothly and the whole day had a relaxed feel thanks to Laura and Bonnie. She is prompt, professional, easygoing and is a perfect pick for your wedding day!

Laura and her hairdresser, Bonnie, were amazing to work with both on and before our wedding day. She was so organized and made my day-of-timeline easy by providing me with a detailed timeline to give to all of my bridesmaids. Flawless experience!

I am SO happy that I went with Make Me Up Bridal Boston for hair services for my wedding on 8/31/2019. The owner, Laura Bodziony, was extremely prompt and responsive in answering my initial questions and setting up a trial. When I arrived for my trial with my mother, we were impressed with the comfortable set-up. We met Beth, who was my hair stylist for my wedding, at the trial. Beth was talented, efficient, and extremely personable. I was so happy with Laura's business and team that I booked my hair services with them before leaving my trial. Laura was very organized in her communication leading up to the wedding, including providing a hair schedule for the wedding day and contract/payment information. Since I had 9 bridesmaids, an officiant, two mothers, and myself all getting hair done, I had two stylists on the day of. On the day of, I met my second stylist, Julie, for the first time and she was wonderful. Beth and Julie traveled and arrived to my hotel (Seaport Hotel in Boston, MA) on time, stuck to the schedule (and even finished a little early), and Beth stayed until the very end to touch up some of my curls right before our first look. Beth and Julie were able to take visions and make them a reality. All my ladies raved about their hair and the beautiful styles lasted through many hours of dancing. I recommend this team without hesitation and would absolutely use them again for another event! Thank you Laura, Beth, and Julie!!!

fantastic and worth every penny

Laura, the owner, did the make up for my best friend’s wedding and it was amazing so I knew I needed her company for mine. Jillian did the make up for my wedding and absolutely killed it. It was 100 degrees out and I got married in an unairconditioned church followed by an hour of outdoor pictures. My make up still was perfectly in tact when I woke up the next morning. All of bridesmaids too. Treat yourself and get the airbrush it is so worth the extra money when done by these ladies. I looked perfect!

I loved working with Laura!!! She is extremely professional and responsive to emails but is also very warm and nice. Laura did makeup for my NYE wedding while Bonnie did hair. In addition to me, Laura and Bonnie worked on 10 bridesmaids, my mom, and 2 flowergirls. They are very quick and efficient, and every single woman looked amazing and unique! I couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup team! My hair and makeup lasted ALL day and night with no touch ups! And I word me hair down with extensions! My photographer even complimented that my girls lasted all night long and looked so good even in photos at the end of the night.

Laura and Solange arrived on time at my hotel and even finished each girl ahead of schedule. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and we're very honest with each other so I would've know if someone was lying!

I can't recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and hire these talented ladies!

While planning a wedding from out of state (currently living in UT and was planning my wedding in MA) Make Me Up Bridal was extremely helpful, flexible and accommodating. I had my makeup trial done 3 days before my wedding!! The moment I sat down for my trial, I knew right away that I was in good hands with Laura and Beth. They did makeup and hair for me (the bride), my maid of honor, my mom, my mother-in-law, a few bridesmaids and a grandmother! They can seriously do it all. They made everyone look and feel so beautiful. To top it all off, they are just genuinely nice people and we had so much fun getting ready. I would stop your makeup/hair search right now and book Make Me Up Bridal. Seriously you cannot go wrong!! I had a second wedding out in San Francisco, CA (with another hair stylist/makeup artist) and asked them to copy what Make Me Up Bridal did because I loved it so much. Make Me Up Bridal is amazing! Laura was absolutely amazing to work with through the entire process. She is so responsive, professional, and knows her stuff! Laura (makeup) and Solange (hair) made me feel so comfortable at my trial, and were able to perfectly recreate the look day of. Laura even took the initiative to create a hair and makeup schedule for day of in advance, so the bridesmaids and I could stay timely. It made the morning of so easy for myself and the bridesmaids. I had the pleasure of working with Laura and Bonnie on my wedding day, and their work was outstanding. From the initial conversation to the trial to the big day, Laura was so responsive and easy to work with. I had a relatively large wedding party (myself, 8 bridesmaids, 1 mom, 1 grandmother) and they were able to get everyone done with time to spare - and they stayed to do touch-ups right before we left for the ceremony, and to let the photographer and videographer get some "getting ready" shots. Laura did an amazing job with my make-up. She was able to make me look glamorous - I had a nighttime New Year's Eve wedding - without being too much, since I'm someone that doesn't normally wear a lot of makeup and I still wanted to look like me! Bonnie also did a great job with my hair - I have stick straight hair that doesn't like to stay in place, and not only did Bonnie get the up-do that I wanted, but it also stayed in place all night, even with lots of dancing! Everyone from my bridesmaids to my 84 year old grandmother looked so beautiful! In additional to being talented, Laura and Bonnie are also so nice and easy-going. We had a lot of laughs while getting ready. Finally, while getting your hair and makeup professionally done for your wedding certainly isn't cheap, I felt that Make Me Up Bridal's prices were fair and on par with other companies that I researched, and I felt that it was worthy every penny! I can't recommend Make Me Up Bridal enough!

Laura was amazing to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. She was the ultimate professional! Her responses were prompt and she was flexible with any and all changes that had to be made. On site, she and Solange made all of feel like royalty. My experience with Make Me Up Bridal was amazing, Laura and Solange were so easy to work with. Laura was super responsive right from the beginning when I first reached out to her about a trial and throughout the whole process all the way to my wedding day. My trial went so good and I booked them as soon as I could. Laura created a wedding day timeline for us far in advance for hair and makeup which made things so easy. Most importantly they did an amazing job, my bridal party consisted of all ages form 16 to 64 and everyone felt amazing and loved both their hair and makeup. I've been in a few weddings and it's close to impossible to make 6 women happy with both hair and makeup, but they nailed it! We had an incident where one of my bridesmaids got upset and cried (teenager stuff) and wanted to have her makeup fixed up again (though honestly she didn't need it, she still looked amazing) and Laura just handled it without any hesitation like it was completely normal. My daughter changed her mind about her hair, it was down and she wanted it up instead after an hour (teenagers!) , Solange changed it with no problem and did a beautiful job. These ladies are quick and talented and very down to earth and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Laura even gave me a little bag with things I may need to touch up throughout the night, make up, hair spray etc it really was a nice touch. They made the whole process easy and stress free which is exactly what you want when planning a wedding.

I highly recommend Make Me Up Bridal for your wedding day! Laura and Solange did my hair and makeup for myself, my mom, MIL, and 5 bridesmaids. They did an amazing job! After my trial I wasn't in love with my hair and they were so accommodating to make changes and make sure I was happy on my wedding day. I absolutely LOVED both my hair and makeup! All of my girls raved about how great their hair and make up came out too! They traveled to NH for my wedding day and I cannot say how nice it was to be able to relax and have everything taken care of right on site. Laura and Solange were amazing. They did hair and makeup for myself, my mother, and my bridesmaids for my August 20 wedding. They came prepared to my parents' house, even bringing a makeup chair and (amazing!) lighting! Solange is so fast with hair, and everyone's came out beautiful. My style stayed in all night long, through lots of dancing and photos. Laura's makeup was on point, the lashes were a great addition, and everything came out great. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, and I never felt like it was caked on or there was too much. She did a fantastic job making me look like the best version of myself. Thank you!

We loved Laura and Bonnie and Make Me Up Bridal! They were so accommodating to me and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with what I was going to look like...especially when I needed an emergency hair trial 2 days before our wedding because I decided to change my entire look! The day of the wedding they were right on time, and fit right in with my girls. They were fun to be around, and made all of the bridesmaids look BEAUTIFUL! Everyone was happy with their look! I rarely wear make up and was worried about not looking like myself with all the makeup on, but Laura made me look very natural and like a better version of me. My mom has really difficult hair and I have never seen her look better! I'm so happy that we went with Make Me Up Bridal and recommend them to anyone getting married in the Boston area!

I first met Laura when she did my makeup for my brother's wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. Laura and Solange were a dream team leading up to and on my wedding day. Laura was incredibly responsive and helpful when it came to planning, re-adjusting my schedule and scheduling a trial 10 months prior to my big day. They arrived right on time on my wedding day and made my bridesmaids and I feel beautiful, confident and natural. I've never seen a bridal party so happy with the final results. Make Me Up Bridal are awesome! Both Laura and Solange were so nice, kind and very flexible. When I initially met them, I brought some Pinterest photos and they were able to replicate exactly! I knew when I met them, that I would be hiring them. Laura was very professional and responsive throughout the wedding planning process and was able to answer any question I had. On the day of my wedding, Solange did both hair and makeup as I had a small wedding party. Solange was very friendly, and everyone couldn't get over how fast she worked! I and the bridal party couldn't be more pleased with how our hair and makeup looked. Everyone looked and felt beautiful. She was very flexible and even incorporated a last minute eye last addition for my mother in law. For all these reasons I could not recommend them enough.

I contacted Laura with only a few weeks to go before my wedding, and she absolutely saved my life. She even waived some of her fees and part of her contract to make sure everything went smoothly for me on such short notice, which is absolutely unheard of in the wedding business! She was so accommodating and sweet, and she and her team got me right in for a trial. I brought no photos and no ideas of what I wanted, but they somehow figured out exactly how I would look my best, and I was so pleased. After all of the stress of wedding planning, it was so nice to be able to relax and have professionals take care of me! On the day of, Laura's team, Susanna and Katherine, were so funny and really put everyone at ease. They met us at our hotel, and it was so cute to see how considerate they were to my mom and the groom's mom. They really rolled with the punches, too--my family doesn't know the meaning of "appointment"--but everyone ended up so happy with how they looked. I am so glad I found Make Me Up Bridal for my wedding, and I would 110% recommend them!

Laura and Solange were by far the most seamless part of my big day! From the second I booked my trial to the touch ups on my wedding day, they were responsive, listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy at every step. I can't say enough good things about these girls and how amazing it was to have them be part of our day. On top of how sweet and accommodating they are, it is an added bonus that they come to wherever you are getting ready! I was able to comfortably get ready in my parents house with them there!

Highly recommend!! Laura and Elliot were amazing to work with. The trial went great and the day of was even better. I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis but Laura did a great job making it look very natural. I didn't feel too over done like I had worried about. Elliot also did an amazing job on my hair and everyone else's. All of the bridesmaids and mothers loved their hair and makeup. Make Me Up Bridal and Laura were highly recommended to me from another bride so I decided to go for a hair and make-up trial. From the start Laura and Elliot (hair stylist) were great to work with. It was great to find a make-up artist and stylist to come to our hotel so we didn't have to stress about driving somewhere. They were very flexible with the varied tastes of the bridal party and mothers of bride/groom. I'm not the type to wear a lot of make-up and Laura did a great job with a subtle and beautiful look. They were both laid-back, which is great for a bride to deal with on her wedding day. I never felt rushed and they were very pleasant to have in the hotel room while we were getting ready for the wedding.

We had a great experience with Laura and her hairdresser, Elliott. We were originally thinking the makeup and hair trial would be a chore in the midst of wedding planning craziness, but we had a lot of fun. Laura was really open to our ideas and very helpful in suggesting what would or wouldn't work, since she does this all the time. We had two brides and two sets of bridesmaids, so getting ready was an all-day event! We met up with Laura and Elliott at our venue at 10 am (we had to be ready by 3:30), and they were already there and set up when we arrived. We had a blast hanging out and getting pretty all day. Laura and Elliot were really chill and fit right in while still being professional. We were really happy with the results and I doubt my hair will ever look that good again!

Laura helped me to produce a hair and make-up schedule for my bridal party and was extremely reasonable when it came to pricing. Most importantly, however, was the quality of Laura's work. Laura and Bonnie were fantastic. I knew as soon as I sat down with them for my trial that they were going to make me feel calm and beautiful for my wedding and make me laugh. I’m pretty low maintenance in my day-to-day life, and I wanted to look like a more polished version of myself. They nailed it. I think the best compliment I got that day was that I looked like me. They were also so patient with my 6-year-old niece who wanted to rearrange their tools and tell them how to do their job (and cut in line to get her makeup done before the bride). When I was irrationally panicking that one of my vendors wasn’t going to show up, they calmed me down and even volunteered to do the job themselves. They were efficient and fun and did a beautiful job on my bridesmaids, my mom, my 12-year-old stepdaughter, my niece, and myself. They were such a joy to work with and I would highly recommend them!

Laura was very responsive and kind! I waited until the last minute to book hair and makeup and they were still able to accommodate me and my girls! I had to cancel my initial trial the morning of the appointment due to a family emergency and she was very professional and understanding. Solange was amazing! We had 11+ people getting their hair done and she was finished well before we needed to be done and everyone looked beautiful! So many guests commented on how great everyone's hair looked! I reached out to Make Me Up Bridal and heard back almost immediately. I found that their prices were better than many I had seen for companies that offer both hair and makeup. My trial was easy, the changes I wanted to make Laura was easily able to communicate to the artists doing my hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. This team was absolutely incredible!! Laura and Solange did the hair and makeup for myself and entire bridal party (6 bridesmaids and my mother). Their extensive experience was evident with their comfort in the current styles and the efficiency to pull everything together. They stay perfectly on time, even leaving a break for last minute adjustments. They have flexible and easy going personalities which creates a relaxed environment for the big day. Everyone looked just stunning! Laura and Solange were very polite and accommodating. Having a trustworthy and talented team is such a key component to a wedding day and I feel beyond fortunate that I was able to have Make Me Up Bridal!

Hiring hair and makeup artists for my wedding was one of the scariest wedding planning decisions I had to make. As a bride, you are putting your trust and your appearance into someone else's hands for the hundreds of people and photos from your wedding. So I dreaded this decision. But then I met Laura, Katherine and Nicole. Before my wedding day they had done two hair trials and one makeup trial for me only. On the big day, they met 6 more women (each with different hair and skin and features) and beautified us all as if they had known us. They listened to each one of us, they protected our insecurities, and they stuck to their schedule. I was so nervous on my wedding day, but Katherine and Nicole were so calm, patient and reassuring. I felt beautiful and cared for, and I've got those hundreds of photos to prove it!

Laura & Solange are a dream team. Honestly, any bride would be so lucky to have them available for your wedding day. They are wonderful people & were a pleasure to have part of the most important day of my life. I had a total of 11 women for hair & make up (8 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, & myself) and they took great care of the entire wedding party. Everyone looked stunning & the hair & make up lasted for many hours on a hot summer day. They arrived early & even went above & beyond by helping tie perfect bows on the bridesmaid tulle halter top dresses. The day of the wedding was very calm & smooth & we even were all ready a little early which left time for fun! Personally, it was so much easier for me to have Make Me Up Bridal manage both hair & make-up for my party versus having to coordinate with two separate companies - another perk! I highly recommend Laura & Solange & team!

Laura is absolutely amazing! Her technique is very natural which is exactly what I wanted. She is so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. I worked with Solange at Make Me Up Bridal and was so impressed by her! She made my mom, grandmother, the bridesmaids and me all look perfect for the big day. I feel so fortunate that I was able to find Laura and team on wedding wire! Laura and her team are not only incredibly talented, but they are all so sweet. Laura was so responsive throughout our contact, from the consultation to the wedding day. My mom, bridesmaids, and flower girls all looked beautiful and they were all so happy with the outcome of their hair and make up. Solange matched the pictures for inspiration so well. I have been in weddings where everyone complains about their hair and makeup, but with Make Me Up Bridal, that was not the case. They made everyone feel so beautiful. I had a hair and makeup trial a couple months before my wedding with Solange as the hair stylist and Laura as my makeup artist. I admit that I wasn't sure about the trial results because I just don't think I knew what I wanted and I didn't communicate it well. But I felt confident with Laura and Solange and talked to Laura over email about possibilities of changing my makeup and hair for the actual wedding day and she said that was perfectly fine and they were very flexible. So I went with something completely different for my hair and makeup from the trial and I loved it!! I paid for all my girls to get their hair done (6 bridesmaids) but as the bride, I got both hair and make up done. On my wedding day, Solange traveled to our venue and did both my hair and makeup and I loved it! She was super, super fast and all my girls loved their hair- they couldn't stop raving about her! One of my bridesmaids who were already married even said she preferred her bridesmaid hair for my wedding than the hair she had on her own wedding day.

Working with Make-me-up bridal was a wonderful experience. I reached out to Laura about a month and a half before my wedding and was very happy they were able to accommodate myself, 3 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and my grandmother. Laura had me come in for a consult that week and I knew immediately that this was a good fit. The day of my wedding Elliot and Renee showed up at the house we rented and did everyone’s hair and makeup. It was a fun, beautiful, and relaxed day that was made possible by their calming, graceful attitudes. Elliot even gave my niece, Nora, a braided crown. She loved it!

I was so incredibly happy with the services provided by Make Me Up Bridal. My favorite part about this company was that they came to us. We didn't have to worry about the hassle of going to a salon, and we were able to just relax as a bridal party and truly enjoy this part of the day. They stayed until just before pictures to do touch ups, which was also a bonus! Laura and Katherine were amazing to work with as well. They made us all feel comfortable, they were fun and upbeat, and they did an AMAZING job. In fact, one of my bridesmaids getting married next month booked Laura on the spot for makeup! I was in a last minute pinch to find a traveling hair and makeup vendor for my wedding. I didn't have time to run around the city the morning of my wedding to take care of these wedding essentials, and I ended up searching online for someone who could do this for a reasonable price in Boston. Laura was super quick to respond and very sweet and positive in her communication. She made the whole process a breeze! I went to her home for a hair and makeup consultation the week before my wedding and she and Kyreena were so calm and relaxed - it turned into a really fun afternoon! On the morning of my wedding they arrived right on time and set up in my hotel room. It was so much fun to be pampered by these ladies, they know what they're doing and made me feel like a princess for my wedding! I would highly recommend Make Me Up Bridal to anyone!

When I envisioned my wedding, I always imagined my hair and make-up stylists coming to my parents house and making my girls and I beautiful, while we sipped champagne and ate a light breakfast. Thanks to Laura and Lisa, I was able to have just that and more! Not only did they make me feel like a princess, they fit in seamlessly with the atmosphere that morning. They were fun, flexible and all they cared about was making myself and my girls happy with how they looked that day!
During the planning process, Laura was amazing. She responded quickly and was always available to talk if I had a quick question or wanted to run ideas by her. She is warm, friendly and very professional!
If you are a bride looking for someone who can come into your home/hotel/etc. on the day of your wedding and "make you up" beautifully, Make Me Up Bridal is the way to go!!! I highly recommend Laura and her team!!!

Quite simply, I LOVED Laura and Kathy. So friendly, so calm, soooo talented. Not only did they come to my house and do the hair and makeup for an extremely diverse group of women (and politely deal with the three flower girls running around all day), but their work was FLAWLESS. I had soooo many compliments on how gorgeous everyone was, and the coordinators at my venue kept commenting on how none of the makeup had smeared/worn off- even though it was a hot and humid night. Even after dancing for hours (hello, sweaty bride) my makeup looked like it had just been done- no touch ups needed. On top of that, my mom has extremely sensitive skin and had never worn makeup before. not only did Laura have her come in for a makeup trial to make sure the makeup wouldn't cause any reactions, she made my mom feel like a princess. Prices were incredibly reasonable, she responded within the hour to every single inquiry, and she was incredibly flexible (and she made me laugh a lot too). Thank you For helping create the wedding of my dreams. Future brides- don't look any further- Laura and her team are amazing.

I'm so glad I decided to go with Make Me Up for hair and makeup for my wedding! Laura, the owner, was very quick in email communication and was able to answer all of my questions. My bridesmaids and I had Katherine for hair and Nicole for makeup. They were wonderful! I was hesitant at first because I didn't know what to expect and hair and makeup is a big part of your wedding! I was put at ease after the trial because Katherine and Nicole did such a great job! They arrived on time the day of the wedding and were able to set up quickly and get started on my girls. One of my bridesmaids found a few potential makeup artists for my big day. After my makeup trial with Laura, I knew she was the one. She is so calm, yet bubbly. She is not pushy or “salesy” – which was huge to me as weddings really add up in cost (and stress) and she just let me make the decision myself without pressure. She has a passionate for makeup and it comes out in her results. I love that she customizes her approach for each bride and each person. Her approach was much different for me (who also loves makeup) as opposed to some of my bridesmaids, who don’t wear as much make up. I truly appreciated this as it made each person feel comfortable and their prettiest. Her prices were also super reasonable for the Boston area. Highly recommend.

Laura and Bonnie did an amazing job! I was really worried about my hair, given that it is very curly and can be difficult to work with, but I was super happy with how it turned out (I had a half down and half braided to the side). My makeup also looked fantastic! I went in to this whole hair/makeup process not knowing exactly what I wanted but Laura and Bonnie were both so helpful and relaxed. Make Me Up Bridal was amazing! I had a trial with them back in January and Laura and team were so fun to work with and did such a great job at my trial that I couldn't wait to see how they would do on the big day. On my wedding day, the team showed up early, was super professional and was willing to listen to my bridal party with how they wanted to have their hair and makeup done. They were willing to go the extra mile to make updates and changes so that everyone felt perfect and comfortable. :) I would highly, highly recommend this company to any future bride on their wedding day! Laura and Solange were great to work with, and Solange did a wonderful job with everyone’s hair and makeup for our wedding. Laura, the owner and one of the makeup artists, was extremely responsive. She was also particularly good at communicating and helping me articulate the exact vision I had for both my hair and makeup.

Where I thought Make Me Up Bridal really went above and beyond was after my trial. I was very pleased with my makeup at the trial, but my hair wasn’t quite right. I sent Laura some more pictures and explanation about the exact hair style I wanted. Since I didn’t have time to schedule another trial, Solange practiced the style on Laura’s hair and Laura emailed me pictures--which was exactly like the style I had wanted. It was a huge relief to know that Solange had the style down, and I was grateful to save both the time and money to avoid a second trial.

Since I was getting married in Gloucester and I didn’t know any of the salons in the area, it was great to have Solange travel to us. She arrived early and was ready to go as scheduled. She texted and called to make sure she was in the right place to give me updates that she was on her way, which I appreciated.

My mother-in-law changed her mind at the last minute and decided that she didn’t want to get her makeup done anymore. We didn’t have enough people getting services done for both Laura and Solange to work on us, so Solange did everyone’s hair and makeup. Since I had signed a contract that included my mother-in-law’s makeup service, it was nice that Laura didn’t charge me (even though we offered to pay). I was a little nervous because I did my makeup trial with Laura, but Solange did my makeup perfectly on the day of the wedding. She also was wonderful and very professional with my mother who was admittedly difficult on the day of the wedding.

Their prices were comparable or cheaper to other similar vendors.

I definitely recommend Laura, Solange, and Make Me Up Bridal.

Working with Make Me Up Bridal was fabulous! They were extremely flexible with times when I had to have them come half an hour earlier than expected. They were both extremely professional but great girls to work with! I loved my hair trial and felt at ease knowing they'd be doing my hair. They were very quick with doing hair styles the day of and got along well with all my crazy women relatives lol. My hair stayed in place the whole day (as well as the bridesmaids hair). I also had makeup done and it was fabulous - it lasted all evening and my pictures came out beautifully!
