If I could give 100 stars, I would. Maria and her team at Make Happy Memories made our wedding dreams come true. They turned our Pinterest board and wildest ideas into reality and executed everything flawlessly. We cannot recommend them enough.
We found MHM thru google- they were the first company to pop up and we scheduled a call with the owner Maria. By the time we finished the 30 minute call, we were both excited and confident that her and her team would help us with every aspect of planning our wedding overseas (we are based in the US and I had never been to Greece so I knew absolutely nothing).
We got started working with her team and while wedding plannings can be excruciating - they took care of everything and made every decision as easy as possible. Christina and Katerina (whom we worked with primarily) went above and beyond to make themselves available whenever we needed them in between calls and communications, and they worked diligently to find options for every idea we had for our big day. They become like friends throughout the process and we trusted their guidance wholeheartedly. They helped us stay on track, on budget and on time with everything leading up to the wedding. I could never have done it without them.
For context, we had 100 people flying from the US for our wedding and to travel through Greece with us before and after. The MHM team helped us arrange details for every part of the wedding trip as well as helped out with some details before and after. Every one of our guests complimented us on the wedding- from the logistics, to the beautiful structures they created at the reception, to the timing and attentiveness to the guests- and we owe it all to MHM. People called it the wedding of the century- the time of their lives.
My husband (still getting used to saying that!) and I joke that we want to have Christina and Katerina come with us everywhere from now on to help us plan everything we do.
Your wedding is (most likely) the biggest day of your life and if you want it to be perfect, you have to work with Make Happy Memories. They not only care about their clients and their work, but they're the absolute best at what they do- and they are so much fun to work with.

We seriously couldn’t have asked for better wedding planners than Make Happy Memories as they exceeded every expectation we had. From day one, they were organized, responsive, and just really easy to work with. We worked closely with Sophia, and she was amazing — super professional but also so warm and calm, which made a huge difference during the whole process.
Planning a destination wedding in Paros sounds stressful, but they made everything feel totally manageable. They handled all the logistics and details so we could actually enjoy being engaged instead of stressing over timelines and vendors.
Our wedding was pretty intimate — just 50 of our closest friends and family — but we walked away feeling like every single guest truly had the time of their lives. The vibe, the flow of the day, everything just felt right.

Amazing experience
We truly cannot rate the team at Making Happy Memories high enough. 5 stars honestly do not do them justice!
We thought that trying to organise a wedding in Naxos, Greece from Australia was going to be hard work and didn't know where to start. After trying to find a suitable wedding planner via google to assist us with our plans, we definitely came across the most hard working, polite, professional and caring team we could have wished to find.
Once we engaged the team, everything just seemed so easy. From our first conversation over Teams to meet Christina and the group, we felt like we were in good hands.
The ease of using the Flowergirl website to communicate and track everything was fantastic. There were so many things that my wife and I didn't think about, but their expertise ensured we had everything crossed off.
Once venues had been decided for the wedding and pre wedding events, they were very detailed in their explanation of things and always kept us updated on how things were going. Time difference was never an issue and the line of communication was always open.
When we arrived in Naxos, we kept contact via whatsapp and the team (Christina and Myrto) were always available to answer any questions we had.
Our wedding day couldn't have been any more perfect. Each of the vendors we had from photographer, DJ to caterers were amazing. The wedding was simply the most special day. It truly exceeded our expectations. A day we will never forget.

If you are thinking of working with Make Happy Memories, I'll help you out, JUST DO IT! Deciding to work with this team was the best decision we've ever made.
My now husband and I live in California and we had always dreamed of a smaller wedding on a Greek island. However, when we began the planning process it felt very overwhelming and unattainable. That is UNTIL we found Make Happy Memories. I reached out to them and got a response within the same week. We had a very thorough zoom conversation with Maria who was just lovely to talk to talk to. She answered ALL of our questions and made us realize our Mama Mia wedding dreams could actually come true.
One of the most important things for us and our wedding week was to make sure we picked and island and accommodation that was easy for our guests to get to, and that the accommodation also served as our wedding venue for us and that it felt intimate and authentically Greek. And boy did the Make Happy Memories team deliver! They sent us countless islands and venues/villas/hotels they carefully selected to make sure they fit our vision and budget. They sent pictures and details for every single place. This was the hardest decision for us, picking the island and accommodation, and we could not have done it with out their expertise and patience. They did not stop helping us search until we found the perfect venue and island for us.
Throughout the rest of the planning process, they continued to cater to our vision and goals. They had extensive PPTs that mimicked our Pinterest boards to ensure the décor was exactly how we wanted it to be. They sent us the best vendors and ensured they stayed within our budget. The caterer we had for our wedding food, was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The best food I've ever had in my life... our guests are still raving about it to this day. Everything from the food, to the DJ, the violinist, the decor, the drinks, the staff, was 10/10. I don't think anything went wrong the day of and if it did, I had no idea about it which is how you know you have excellent planners!

Where do we even begin?? Make Happy Memories was the BEST decision we made during our wedding planning process.
With me being Greek and my wife Grace speaking only English, it was very important to find planners who could merge the tradition of Greek weddings with the ‘Garden Party’ style that my wife had envisioned for years.
From the start, Christina and the rest of the make happy team were amazing professionals — responsive despite our 8 hour time difference, always willing to help regardless of how big / small our requests were, and kind through it all.
They made the ~15 months of planning so easy, stress free, and fun! They communicated perfectly with my wife.
Not only are they great planners, but they executed perfectly!!! We could not have envisioned a more perfect, beautiful wedding day… from the vendors they recommended: makeup artists, DJ, and photographers, to the venue and caterers… it was all perfect! They created a memorable experience for all 130 guests in Nafplio.. some guests even extended their trips because they loved their experience so much!!

A fairytale
I don’t even know where to begin! When thinking of whom can help plan our destination wedding we “interviewed” several companies, but no one and nothing compared to MHM. From our first call with Maria to their self created software Flowergirl, we were taken. We planned everything from abroad, so we never truly got to see what the decor would look like, how the food would taste, only what was shown and described to us with total honesty. My wedding was an absolute dream. Actually the entire week was a fairy tale. Katerina and Christina took every idea and executed it amazingly. My guests were in awe at every single event and just blown away at the wedding itself. My wedding was a month ago and I still find myself thinking about how it was one of the happiest days of my life, and I'm not the type of person who had this idea of what their perfect wedding would be. We’re an American couple who planned a wedding celebration in Greece after eloping during COVID. We found Make Happy Memories online and spent about a year designing a party on Crete. Weddings are usually very stressful affairs, even when they aren’t planned in foreign places, but MHM made the entire process incredibly easy and fun. They also, I think, really got to know us as a couple and the things we like—we were surprised at how closely they were able to follow and anticipate our aesthetic. The party was a huge success, a beautiful night with incredible food and a rocking band, along with several “hand made” touches that were unique to our celebration. MHM were also super flexible leading up to the event and helped us with every conceivable last minute request, cancellation, and peccadillo. Nearly all of our friends said it was the best wedding reception they’d ever attended—and a few of them were also recently married! MHM was absolutely a godsend in planning our traditional Greek orthodox destination wedding on Crete. I'm a clueless American who works 24/7 and has less than 0 interest in planning weddings, and somehow out of my grumpy, half-grudging direction that it should be "rustic but not dirty or tacky" they wove up the best, most beautiful day of my life. They held our hands through the devastation of having to delay the wedding because of COVID-19, coordinated and designed every single detail right down to the song we walked down the aisle to, and made sure my very traditional Greek family got the Orthodox ceremony of their dreams...all within our original budget! It was nothing short of a miracle, and I cannot recommend them enough. The best for Greek destination weddings!!! -

Amazing destination wedding for US based couple
While planning our destination wedding in Greece (we’re based in NYC), we knew we needed planners who we could trust to deliver our vision and bring the local knowledge we needed. We interviewed a lot of planners and chose MHM because we felt that they were committed to delivering our vision, within our budget. We liked that their weddings all felt unique and didn’t look like a copy/paste of each other.
Throughout the process, we felt that our planner, Myrto, truly had our best interest at heart. She balanced giving her perspective and listening to us really well. We felt like we had a trusted advisor which made the whole process much less stressful. She and the team went above and beyond to help us execute on our vision, and make the process as easy for us as possible.
We also found that the agency model gave us a lot of peace of mind. While Myrto was our main contact, we had a lot of comfort knowing that there was a team of amazing planners who were supporting our event and could step in at any point to deliver.
I think MHM would be a great fit for you if:
- You want support in shaping your event, but don’t want to feel pressured
- You want to be engaged in the planning process, but want to have an advisor and execution support
The only thing I would flag for awareness - most of your communication happens through their app vs. live meetings. This was helpful from a time zone perspective, but sometimes felt a little disconnected. When we started having more calls / getting to know each other, my husband and I both felt more comfortable and confident in the process.

Upon scouting for venues, everything seemed too big, dull, and unexciting -- nothing with the ambiance that we’re looking for, not one meeting our criteria. Good thing Maria was there to help us choose our dream venue, a villa near Athens with a beautiful garden. Even with simple decorations, the outcome exceeded our expectations. Plus, we were treated to the magical smell of roses as we held our reception! We look forward to renewing our vows in the future, of course, with the help of Maria again. Their website made it easy to communicate with them and quickly visualize different venues and vendors. They used my Pinterest wedding board to create a vision board that closely matched what I was looking for and adapted it to fit my budget accordingly.
