Incredible

Kevin Markey was incredible and played a large part in making our wedding day a massive success! From the moment we had our first intro meeting , he was attentive, thorough, and helped make the entire process less stressful. Throughout the night, quite a few of our guests made sure to compliment our playlist and noted it was one of the best wedding DJ’s they’ve heard. It’s been a few weeks since our wedding and our guests still talk about it. Our dance floor was never empty the whole night, and he managed to keep the energy going even through the last dance. We highly recommend booking Kevin from Make a Mark Events! Thank you Kevin for making our wedding day that much more special.

Best DJ Ever!

Kevin was absolutely incredible! From the planning process to the wedding day- everything was flawless. Our biggest request to Kevin is that we wanted our wedding to be different- and not like every other wedding we have been to. He exceeded our expectations and is amazing at blending songs seamlessly. Gerat DJ Set

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and kept everything running smoothly all night. He did an amazing job coordinating the speeches so everything stayed on schedule and stress‑free, which we were incredibly grateful for.
The music was unreal — exactly what we were hoping for — and he kept the energy up the entire night. He also helped us a ton with coordinating our entrance, which made a big difference and allowed us to really enjoy the moment.
We would 100% recommend him to anyone planning a wedding. Total professional and a huge part of what made our day so great.

DJ Steve was awesome

Steve was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He kept the energy up all night, read the crowd perfectly, and made sure the dance floor was never empty. Steve - Make a Mark Events

Steve from Make A Mark Events played a huge part in the success of our wedding. He kept the energy up and our guests on the dance floor the entire night. He played all of the songs requested and added in a few interactive-guest involvement dances that really helped keep the party going. He was very well organized and detail oriented throughout the whole process. We were so impressed by his ability to read the room while also sticking with the vibe we had previously requested. We had so many compliments on our choice of a DJ and truly are so grateful to have chosen Steve. 10/10 recommend!

100% Recommend (Thanks DJ Steve)!

We got married in August and hired Steve as our DJ through Make a Mark Events. Throughout the planning process, Steve was incredibly easy to communicate with made the whole thing stress-free. The sound set-up for our wedding ceremony was flawless and so was the music for our cocktail hour and reception! Our wedding was around 85 people and we were worried about keeping people on the dance floor throughout the night, but that ended up not being an issue at all with Steve! He also did a great job MCing and kept a great flow throughout the whole evening. Also huge shout out to Keno, who ran the photobooth! He also did a fantastic job and all of our guests absolutely loved taking photos. It was so nice having the photo guest book to keep afterwards as well! 100% recommend booking Make a Mark Events for your wedding!

Awesome DJ/MC!

Kevin was absolutely incredible to work with! He went above and beyond in every capacity. We had multiple check-ins leading up to the event to ensure that we were fully comfortable with the agenda and music picks. He is an awesome DJ, that totally could have made a living actually DJing, so the crowd was loving the music and transitions! Kevin is amazing!

Kevin from Make a Mark events was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely nothing short of amazing. There was no part of our wedding day that he did not handle flawlessly. From the moment we had our first meeting we could tell he was going to be a great choice for our event. He has great attention to detail and went over everything with us to ensure a smooth flow of our event. Kevin was phenomenal during our entire event and kept our dance floor absolutely packed all night long. We received so many compliments about Kevin from people telling us he was amazing and one of the best DJs they had ever seen. His ability to understand a room and keep the vibes going all night long is unmatched and we couldn't have had such a great wedding day without him and his talents. He also had a Photo Booth attendant Matt who did a great job with the Photo Booth and props for our guests which was a hit. If you are looking for a DJ to be able to make every guest at your wedding stay up on the dance floor and keep them partying all night long, then Kevin from Make a Mark events is your answer. You gotta book him!

My husband and I went to a wedding where Kevin DJ'd for and immediately we were saying we NEEDED him for our wedding even though we were having a Chinese wedding. Our friends connected us to him and honestly Kevin is AMAZING. We were a little worried due to the cultural/language differences but prior to the wedding, he was very thorough in helping us plan how the night will go and did his best to make sure everything was seamless. He's always so responsive and helped us have the best night of our lives. There were guests constantly coming up to us saying how great Kevin was and even writing in our guestbook about him! He even got all the aunties and uncles staying all night on the dance floor! Honestly we STRONGLY recommend Kevin if you want to have a night to remember!

We also used their photobooth services where they provided someone to attend the booth, backgrounds, and props for the guests to use. Matt, who attended the booth, even helped guide our guests into putting the extra photo strips into our photo guestbook so we were very appreciative! Make a mark event group is the best!

5 stars underplays how great Make A Mark Events is...

Kevin and his team did an AMAZING job at our wedding. They handled all sound for the ceremony, which with well over 200+ guests outdoors, can be challenging. But everyone heard every word. Then came the awesome photo booth. Guests had a blast with all the props. Finally was Kevins ability to command the room from intros through the rest of the night. Dance floor was packed the whole time. OH yeah... the CO2 GUN?!?! 100/10.

Justin aka DJ JUICE was awesome! Very communicative leading up the event with a straight forward process. He took all of our suggestions and playlists and made it even better than we could’ve expected. He handled the ceremony and reception for our wedding. The ceremony was classic and exactly what we wanted. The reception was awesome! All of our guests were raving about it. Kevin for president!

Starting off this review with the facts - BOOK KEVIN MARKEY you will not regret a single thing. From our first zoom call with Kevin, my (then fiance, now husband!) and I KNEW that this was a perfect match for us and what we wanted for our reception. Kevin knew exactly what we wanted and brought good vibes from day one. Communication was great and easy! Kevin provided us with everything from ceremony music to photo booths and even surprised us and threw in the Bruins goal song during our t-shirt toss because he knew my husband was a Bruins fan. The night of our wedding, we got NUMEROUS compliments on how incredibly the music flowed, the transitions from song to song were spot on, and he definitely matched the energy of our wedding guests which was a huge plus. A friend of mine even went as far as to grab Kevin's card at the end of the night and said to me "i'm not even engaged yet but I am DEFINITELY calling him when it's time to plan my wedding!" To this day we have people talking about how great the music at our wedding was, and maybe I am biased but we TRULY had THE BEST time at our reception all thanks to Kevin. Kevin is the best BEST DJ EVER. From start to finish, he made our wedding unforgettable. Travis crushed it!

After one meeting with Travis in the weeks leading up to our wedding I knew we made the right choice! We discussed the list of songs I wanted/ didn't want played, he was attentive, professional and asked several important questions that I hadn't even thought of.
Keeping the dance floor packed and high energy the entire night was my number one priority for our 9/6/25 wedding, (aside from marrying my now husband!) and Travis DELIVERED.

He played all of our "must play" songs with the cleanest transitions and added a few of his own picks that fit the vibe perfectly. I can't express enough how incredible he is and how much fun everyone had. We still are hearing about how great our DJ was from guests. I will 100% be hiring Travis for other big events in the future and would HIGHLY recommend booking Travis for your wedding!

Steve was amazing

Steve from Make A Mark Events DJ’d my wedding on 9/20/2025. First and foremost, Steve did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job. We couldn’t be happier with what he did for us and how well he catered to the vibe of our wedding.

Steve was extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process. During our initial call, Steve detailed his typical style and approach and even provided us with samples of his work to use as reference. Throughout the process, we put together certain playlists for Steve such as entrance songs, first dance songs, background dinner music, etc. Steve also worked with us to cut and splice certain songs together and we worked through the timing of the music so that each song was played at exactly the right moment (ex. letting a song play for 20-seconds and then introducing the wedding party into reception). Through this, Steve had valuable input and recommendations that made the process very easy. On the day of our wedding, Steve really took charge in these big moments and executed our plans flawlessly. It was clear that we were in really good hands.

Because the wedding planning process was so chaotic and time consuming on our end, we leaned on Steve to use his judgement in putting together the rest of the music for our reception (aka once the dance floor opened up after dinner). We provided Steve with a few Must-Play songs and using this, Steve was able to understand the intended vibe of our wedding and put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect. He sparked such a great energy into our reception and played music that got everyone up on the dance floor. He did an amazing job of mixing and transitioning music that kept things high-energy and kept the party going strong into the night.

Overall, we knew going into our big day that Steve was going to be great. However, Steve managed to even exceed our expectations. We really set out to have an elevated, aesthetic, high-end wedding and Steve ended up being the absolute perfect fit. He was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable and his equipment set-up looked incredible (white booth, accent lighting, uplighting throughout the ballroom). We were truly blown away with how much fun Steve made our wedding and I would recommend Steve to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding. His ability to read the room, adapt, and foster any type of desired energy from the crowd is truly top-tier.

Phenomenal experience

Travis was FANTASTIC! If we could give him more than 5 stars we would. He was communicative, attentive, professional, very easy to work with and highly skilled. He went above and beyond to make our wedding the amazing night that it was. He played all of the songs we wanted him to, and then matched the vibe perfectly with everything else. DJ Juice!!

DJ JUUUUICE!! He was absolutely phenomenal from the moment we reached out to the very end of our special evening. He was incredibly responsive and openly communicated and listened to us. We were celebrating our elopement so there was no ceremony, but we added some special speeches, a voice note, and a video that he took on and set up for us without issue. We had a crowd on the dance floor the entire night - he did not miss with beats! His price was reasonable - you get even more than what you pay for. If you're looking for a seamless, fun-filled evening, DJ Juice is the one for you! I might be bias, but I've never had so much fun at a wedding reception in my life! Dj Steve was phenomenal!

We had such an amazing experience with DJ Steve Minor. His communication was excellent from start to finish, which made the planning process so smooth and stress-free. He has such a laid-back, easygoing vibe, yet he completely delivered on everything we asked for. He played music that fit perfectly for our multicultural families, and everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Best day ever!

We had our wedding with Kevin and it was truly the best days of our lives. I worked with him in the past and knew that he was the perfect fit to be a part of our special day. Steve from Make A Mark was our wedding DJ and he was fantastic! My husband & I were a bit picky about our music selections for the event and we had provided multiple playlists for all parts of the evening; Steve followed our instructions to a T and then mixed in his own selections when our reception playlist was getting low on songs, matching our vibe quite well. Our Guests LOVED Kevin!!!

From our very first phone conversation to the days following our wedding, we knew we had hit the JACKPOT with DJ Kevin Markey. He created exactly the perfect vibe we had been hoping for. If you are debating who to hire, look no further!

The DJ is such an important part of a wedding from the intros, to getting people on the dance floor, and keeping the event moving along. Every part of the process was great with the planning calls to asking his opinions on songs to having such great energy the day of. We were recommended Kevin from a friend that used him for their wedding and it was one of the best vendor choices we made. We put together a playlist beforehand that showed the vibe of the songs we liked and he used a bunch of those songs as well as adding in the same vibe with his own song knowledge. He followed all our wishes for songs to play and songs to not play and we are so happy we chose him to be the voice of the day.

Best dj ever 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From our first meeting (where Kevin perfectly described what we were looking for) to the final song of the night, Kevin was professional, attentive, and truly committed to making our day unforgettable. Kevin took the time to understand our music preferences, curated an amazing playlist (that we were able to help share our favorites) that perfectly matched the energy of each part of the day, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. The transitions between different parts of the day were seamless (especially with a venue like the Providence Public Library) the sound quality was excellent, and his setup was impressive. Guests are still talking about how much fun they had, and many mentioned that it was the best wedding music they’d ever experienced. Kevin also did a fantastic job with the announcements and kept everything flowing smoothly, working well with our coordinator and other vendors. If you're looking for a DJ who is organized, talented, and knows how to READ THE ROOM, look no further. Kevin was such an important vendor to us and helped make our wedding one to remember — we’re so grateful!

Kevin was amazing!

DJ Kevin was awesome! The playlist was absolutely perfect, and his transitions between songs were so smooth. Kevin kept the dance floor going all night! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the DJ was! His energy, announcements, and ability to read the crowd made the night unforgettable. He also made our ceremony run smooth, providing microphones for our speakers and officiant so everything was crystal clear. Communication with Kevin was quick and easy from start to finish. Exceptional DJ - Made Our Wedding Unforgettable!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Kevin delivered exactly what we hoped for and more. His professionalism was outstanding. His ability to read the room and really mix the music (not just click play!) kept the energy going all night. We received so many compliments from our guests about how fun and lively the reception was.

Great Wedding DJ!

Kevin was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was super attentive leading up to the wedding to get our music preferences. We asked if he could play songs from a variety of decades, and he did a great job of mixing relatively short clips of each song to keep our dance floor active and engaged all night! We got several compliments from guests of all different ages. The uplighting setup we got through him also added the perfect touch to our venue. Would highly recommend!

So Happy we booked Steve from Make A Mark Events

We had Steve as our DJ and he was AMAZING!!! When I started planning the wedding last year I had talked to a couple DJ companies and didn't get a good vibe from any of them until I talked to Steve! He was super easy going, made great suggestions, and always got back to me quickly. We had a large range of ages and he had everyone out on the dance floor having a great time! Steve interacted with my guests and was just a great guy all around! My friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had. Steve truly was such a great addition to our special day!

Best DJ Ever

Kevin is the absolute BEST DJ ever. From start to finish the music was perfect. The way Kevin knows how to capture the crowd, pull them in, and keep them on the dance floor for the entire night is incredible. He was so amazing to work with and really listened to my husband and I's song requests and overall vibe for the wedding music. We had many different guests at the end of the wedding ask for his contact information so they can book him for future events as they couldn't rave enough about him. We can't thank Kevin enough for everything!!

Best dj ever!

Kevin is literally the best dj ever you should have no doubts about booking him! He was one of the first vendors we booked because we wanted to make sure he was available! From the very beginning he listened to what we wanted and took detailed notes. He was able to blend Russian music, EDM, and older music all together perfectly. He also did a fantastic job with the hora & other Jewish elements! Literally everyone told us how much they loved our dj and our friends even got his contact info for their upcoming wedding! Things were running behind and I was so impressed at how he was able to fit in all of our must have songs in such a short amount of time. Kevin is truly an excellent dj and we’re so grateful we have had him!

Dj Travis is the best!!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with DJ Travis on our wedding day! From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and an absolute joy to work with. They took the time to understand our vibe, our must-play songs, and the energy we wanted throughout the night—and they nailed it.

The dance floor was packed the entire night. Every guest, from our youngest cousins to our grandparents, was up and dancing. The transitions between songs were seamless, and they read the room perfectly. It truly felt like a celebration tailored just for us.

On top of that, they were organized, punctual, and worked seamlessly with our coordinator and other vendors to keep everything running smoothly. We’re still getting compliments on how fun the party was—and so much of that is thanks to our amazing Dj Travis

If you don't hire Steve, you're wrong.

DJ Stephen Minor from Make a Mark Events was sensational! From our previous calls leading up the wedding day, to the incredibly thorough survey he had us complete; every key moment/cue was executed to perfection. We wanted to dance the night away and oh boy did Steve deliver. He transitioned between songs with ease, hit all of our must plays with perfect timing to match the vibe of our crowd, and had our guests remarking that the dance floor was “all gas, no breaks” which is EXACTLY what we were aiming for on our big day. If you don’t hire Steve, you’re doing it wrong. Period.

Amazing Music, Flexible, and Fantastic!

Travis made our wedding absolutely amazing! When unexpected rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors and completely change plans at the last minute, he handled the situation with ease and flexibility. I coordinated every detail of the wedding, so the day was super hectic, but Travis was incredibly self-sufficient, which made a huge difference. I gave him clear directions ahead of time, and he followed them perfectly — by the time I even noticed he had arrived, everything was beautifully set up!

The music was fantastic, and we had an absolute blast on the dance floor. Travis had a great sense of how to get everyone involved — even getting the older guests up and dancing — and he kept the energy lively all night long. He was also great at handling song requests and making sure everyone had a wonderful time.

Thanks to Travis, our wedding night was truly unforgettable!

Extremely Professional

Steve did a great job with our wedding! Our original DJ had a last minute medical issue but was very professional and Steve was able to jump in and cover our wedding night. They even threw in some uplighting which looked amazing at our venue. Steve got up to speed very quickly and was very accommodating with all of our song choices. The audio quality was great, the ceremony went very smoothly, he did a great job announcing and was able to accommodate a last minute speech. The second half of the night he had the dance floor full the entire time right up until end, and all the guests were complimenting his song choices. We also rented a photobooth and the attendant Austin did a great job and provided lots of great props, people had a blast taking photos.

Would highly recommend hiring Make-A-Mark for your event! Very fair pricing, very professional and very high quality services.

Would Hire Again in a Heartbeat

DJ Steve was an amazing choice for our wedding! From start to finish, he walked us through the process and made it easy - which is exactly what you need from vendors in the wedding planning process. We had family who played live trumpet and sax during our cocktail hour, and DJ Steve worked with them to make sure their backing tracks were played and they had everything they needed for the performance. I was so thankful for his professionalism and ability to work with our vision. It was one of the best parts of the day! We also loved the music he played at our reception. We had lots of fun on the dancefloor and whenever there were lulls, he knew what songs to play to get everyone dancing again. All around, we are so glad we chose him and Make a Mark Events!

Party all night with DJ Kevin

First, let me say my friends and family LOVED Kevin and his photobooth. We had DJ Kevin for our wedding this past weekend and it was amazing! He is the easiest to work with, he gave us such a reasonable package price. He “lit” the venue up where it was so beautiful. I had so many family and friends who came up to me to comment on his work and his DJing style. I’ve had friends tell me “he’s someone I can see myself being friends with” and my husband even agreed after chatting with him. He works with you on your playlist and song choices. My family is from Laos so he played music for them too to show my wedding traditions. If I need another DJ, I will work with Kevin again. He doesn’t disappoint. I had doubts on my wedding already, if I had enough decor, If It’ll be pretty enough or if my guests will even have fun. I was wrong, I had no regrets of that day. I absolutely loved everything and I thank Kevin for it and for the most part, my family and friends stayed on the dance floor until the end of night. Thank you Kevin for such an amazing wedding !!

Best night ever

We got married about 3 weeks ago, and we are still hearing from guests about how amazing our DJ Kevin Markey was. From start to finish he was a good guy and absolute professional. His communication leading up to the wedding was exactly what we needed (letting us know a timeline for when songs needed to be chosen). On the big day he showed up early and was fully prepared and ready to go. His setup looked great and the lights added a cool affect. Absolutely amazing DJ - Travis made our night unforgettable!

We cannot say enough good things about DJ Travis!! From start to finish, he was incredible. He absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for— upbeat, fun, and so in tune with the energy of the room.
The music selection was spot-on all night. We provided the general vibes that we were looking for in each segment of the evening and DJ Trav took it from there. He kept the dance floor packed from the very first song to the last, reading the crowd perfectly and seamlessly mixing songs that kept everyone—from our grandparents to our college friends—dancing and excited. Our friends didn’t want to leave!
Beyond the music, he was a joy to work with—super responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our night perfect. He coordinated beautifully with our timeline and our venue, and made everything feel super easy and smooth. We also really appreciated how every time Travis was on the mic, he helped make every transition simple and seamless. Keeping the night moving was a priority for us and Travis did a perfect job executing that in a way that felt fluid.
So many guests told us it was the best wedding dance party they’ve ever been to—and we agree 100%. Travis brought the party and helped make the night unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing DJ - guests loved him!

Wedding Review

Kevin was an incredible DJ for our wedding. His planning leading up to the big night was seamless and he was a pleasure to work with. Not one person was in the seat for whole night once the dance floor opened!

Multiple guests came up to me the night of and the morning after saying how much they enjoyed his music.

He doesn't just press play and let the song play, as he actually mixes the songs and is a legit DJ.

10/10 would recommend for any wedding or any other event where a DJ is needed.

The best DJ we've ever experienced

Kevin gave us the EXACT experience that we wanted! I can't thank him enough. The dance floor was packed all night long; he played all the songs that we asked for and then some, and our guests were shocked at how talented he is. We had DJ Steve for our wedding on 10/19/24. I cannot recommend him and Make A Mark Events enough. If you are looking for someone professional, and passionate about their role in your big day, look no further. Steve is great at reading the room and kept our guests on the dance floor all night! From the moment we booked, Steve was responsive and committed to making our day what we've always dreamed of! Three months later I am still receiving compliments about the music.

In addition, Steve was so accommodating. We wanted to do a private last dance. He helped us kindly ask our guests to exit and fulfilled that request.

10/10 recommend!!!! I can't say enough good things! Thank you to Steve and Make A Mark Events for being a wonderful addition to our wedding day.

If you like to dance, choose Kevin.

Our wedding was the fourth we’ve attended with Kevin as the DJ. As we were planning our wedding, we didn’t need to shop around at all for DJ’s because we knew we wanted Kevin. It was the easiest part of the planning process. Kevin’s great at fading and mixing and knew exactly what we were into after a couple of conversations. He improvised when we realized our officiants didn’t have our vows and immediately put on music he knew people would sing along to while we waited at the alter. If anyone asks us in the future about DJ recommendations, we’ll only provide one. Our only compaint is that all of our friends are married so we don’t know when we’ll be at an event with him again. Thanks for four incredible nights, Kevin!

Kevin was great - guests specifically mentioned him after the wedding, the wedding itself was nonstop dancing, and Kevin was very organized and professional during the planning process. He listened to what we wanted and the crowd loved the music. The photobooth and lighting were also a big hit.

Kevin Markey is the best DJ

Since day one, Kevin new exactly the energy and vibe we wanted for our special night. He was really open to our requests and was so easy to get along with. He knows his stuff and trusted him throughout the whole night. He really found ways to please the whole crowd while still making it special for my husband and i. My biggest worry was having crowd pleasers for all generations and he hit the nail on the head.

It felt like we knew Kevin for so long because he is welcoming and full of great energy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amazing wedding dj!

We hired Kevin as our wedding DJ and it was one of the best decisions we made throughout the process. From the beginning, Kevin was so accommodating and had us feeling confident in planning. On our wedding day, Kevin’s job as MC was done flawlessly and his equipment and guidance helped execute our ceremony to perfection. Dinner music was refreshing and he mixed in our favorites. But, where Kevin really excels is the reception. Kevin kept the energy going all night with a great mix of music including our own requests. Our guests continued to comment how great he was - and we couldn’t agree more. Kevin stayed fully involved and added an extra flare to DJing that all other wedding DJs we have experienced have lacked. The songs he played and transitions between songs was thoughtfully and intentionally curated, which made for a continuous party with a full dance floor. We also got uplighting through Kevin which created an awesome atmosphere for the whole night. Could not recommend him more!

Kevin Markey did our wedding at Oceanview of Nahant on Nov 3rd.

Kevin did a great job keeping the dance floor hopping at our wedding! We had an amazing time at our wedding and Kevin was a huge part of that! Leading up to the big day we had meetings to finalize things and make sure everything was in order which was wonderful. He made the night effortless and he took great care of us. Kevin was phenomenal. I wanted a fun and full dance floor all night and Kevin delivered. he was so responsive in the months leading up to the big day, so so attentive the day of, and so incredibly professional. Best Wedding DJ

Kevin was easy to contact and made planning the music a breeze. He made sure to include the songs on our requested playlist and kept people on the dance floor all night. Danversport Yacht Club 10/11/24

Our wedding was 10/11/24 at Danversport Yacht Club and let me tell you Travis absolutely CRUSHED IT. He was the first vender there to get set up and position his speakers to get ready. From the beautiful ceremony music to causal dinner music Travis found the perfect vibe. Once dinner was finished he had the guests on the dance floor before my wife and I could even get up from our seats. Travis read the room and kept people on the dance floor all night. Not once was the dance floor empty. At the end of the night we had multiple people coming up to us to include venue staff saying how good he did.

Travis is the man

We couldn't be happier with our wedding DJ, Travis! Travis is a super nice guy, easy to work with, and clearly a very experienced DJ. From the start, he answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. His ability to mix songs was incredible - he had the dance floor packed all night long!

Several guests commented that the dance floor was electric, and many said it was the best wedding they’d ever attended—thanks in large part to Travis. We can't thank him enough for making our special day unforgettable. We’ll be recommending him to all our friends for their future weddings!

Great DJ!!

We hired Steve as our DJ for our wedding in Rhode Island. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and Emcee. He had the crowd excited and ready to party all night. He didn’t miss a beat. Steve is awesome!

Steve at Make a Mark Events was great to work with! He provided sound for us during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He had so many people out on the dance floor dancing and having a good time. I don’t think anyone even considered requesting songs because he understood the vibe we were going for and the songs flowed so well. He accommodated our very specific music requests and served as a great emcee in parts of the evening. He was also flexible with the schedule changes we were making up until a few days before the wedding. Many of our guests used the photo booth we rented through them. Make a Mark provided a guest book and promptly delivered the digital copies; they were so fun to look through! No complaints from our experience!

Kevin is hands down one of the best DJs we've ever experienced! After working with him through Make a Mark Events for my sister’s wedding, we knew we had to have him for ours too, and we're so glad we did! Carney Wedding 8/16/24

The task of compiling all the vendors needed to pull off a seamless wedding is daunting. Kevin was recommended to us through our venue, Willowdale Estate, and we were absolutely thrilled with his service. First, communication with him is top knotch. From the initial emails, to the preliminary phone call, to the final wrap up meeting, he is very clear on all the information he needs from you to give you the best service possible. He goes over timeline, song selection for all the different parts of the wedding, and takes so much time to make sure he nails your musical preference. I sent him my Spotify Playlist and he integrated all our favorite songs perfectly into the reception. It was phenomenal. He was extremely personable on the phone but even better in person. He made it so easy to make sure everyone who needed a microphone had one at the perfect time and helped make all the speeches go smoothly. We had a song cut for our first dance and he made it very easy to send him the link so he could play the exact version that we practiced our dance to. The best part of it all however, is how much fun you can tell he's having when he's up there doing his thing. You can clearly see that he loves his job during the dancing portion and his love for his work is clearly reflected through the party on the dance floor. I have never seen my father dance in his life and he was up there on the dance floor getting down with everyone else. It was spectacular. He was absolutely an integral part of the perfect wedding, I couldn't recommend Kevin enough. 11/10.

Best Night Ever!!

Make a Mark Events made our entire wedding night!!! Especially Travis! He kept the party going from start to finish. We were reccomended MAME by a friend and we were so pleased from the initial orientation. Travis listed to what we wanted… to the vibe down to the music. Everything was so seamless. Communication was great. When it came down to our wedding night the music played during cocktail hour and dinner was amazing. Once the dance floor opened, no one left!! Our friends and family have been talking that we had the best music out of any wedding they’ve been to. I will forever let friends know to use MAME and for any future parties we may have. Keep it up! Book him! From the start, Kevin communicated so well and was so quick to answer all our questions and everything we threw at him. Kevin and the Make a Mark team were absolutely incredible to work with from day one. Ceremony & Wedding DJ

Kevin was amazing to work with for our wedding on 5/26. He did our entire wedding day beginning as guests were seated all the way to our private last dance at the end of the night. He kept everything running smoothly with all the mics and toasts and everyone stated they could hear everything well. We had a small group of people dancing but those that did said the music was perfect. He hit all the requests. My entire friend group has or is booking with Make a Mark - 10/10 recommend this company and Kevin in particular! Extremely easy to work with and so friendly and professional.

Fantastic DJ
