Photography Wedding Review

Mark Greenstone (Majestic Studios) is the ultimate professional and he well exceeded our expectations. He did an amazing job photographing the entire wedding and catching everything from the smallest of moments to the main event. Wedding photos

Mark was very professional and great to work with. He started right away and got great shots of my wedding. I loved how he even made sure to take pictures of the decorations and little details that made our day special. He was extremely patient with everyone, especially the little flower girls! The pictures came out better then we imagined!

Outstanding and Impressive

Majestic Studios did the photography and video for my daughter's wedding. Mark and his team did a phenomenal job! They were professional, accommodating, unobtrusive, and pleasant throughout the entire event. The pictures were beautiful and captured every moment of my daughter's special day (the guests are still raving about them). Mark was efficient and responsive from beginning to end and I am grateful I went with choosing him for such an important occasion. I highly recommend Majestic Studios!

Mark and his team were fantastic. We received our photos and video only a few days after the wedding, which was great. Kat the photographer was such a joy to work with. She made everybody feel relaxed and at ease. The photos she took have brought me so much happiness.

I am still working with Majestic studios who did my photography and videography for my wedding. We haven't even gotten the video back yet and we are already thrilled with what we have seen so far. We received our photos back and are in love all over again with the photos. Pete was an absolute gem and shot such beautiful, perfect moments and photos. Mark is so wonderful to work with and we can't wait to see our video. We have no doubt it will be perfect as well. Majestic Studios was awesome! They were recommended to me by a friend of mine who had used them for her wedding and, even though I thought they were out of my price range, I gave them a call. I’m so grateful that I did! Mark listened to everything I wanted and worked with me to navigate a reasonable price for everything we needed. We even added in an engagement session, which was the best idea ever! My husband does not like having his picture taken, so the engagement session gave us both a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and working with Mark and Kat. They were both so relaxed and friendly, and made the whole process fun! Best of all – our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. As far as the wedding day, Kat and Adam were the photographers who came to the venue and they were great to work with. They were both so friendly and easygoing. They captured photos of all of the little details of the day, and even coaxed natural smiles out of so many guests who generally shy away from the camera! I was with Kat most of the day and had an absolute blast working with her. She was so much fun to be around, and completely made the stress of the day fall away. She laughed and joked with us throughout all of our pictures, and was completely flexible with changing plans because of the rainy weather, beauty issues, and anything else that came her way. I was also blown away by the fact that she remembered every little detail I had listed in my pre-wedding survey – including that I wanted pictures of my cousin who we rarely see because he’s in the Navy and that some relatives did not like being told to “smile” for pictures. Our pictures turned out downright gorgeous! We have enjoyed going through them again and again and reliving the day. We cannot wait to start selecting our favorites to frame!

Majestic Studios was one of the best choices we made for our daughter's wedding at Dutchess Manor. We absolutely love the photos and albums they created for us. Mark is a true professional. He is the real deal. He is very organized, responded quickly to our emails throughout the entire wedding planning process, and had the proofs ready for us in less than a week after the October wedding. The photos were stunning and creative. Once you've decided on a wedding date and Majestic Studios is available, do yourself a favor and book them fast!

Majestic studio team Mark and Kat are professional, dedicated photographer who provide beautiful photos. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos they went above and beyond to give us all the photos we were looking for.
Helping us coordinate and making sure no one was left out. Our wedding photos couldn't have come out better. Kat is fun to work with, she helped create a playful energy that made taking photos enjoyable for us ,our family and friends. Neither one of us enjoy taking pictures but they turned it into something we looked forward too. Every moment of our wedding was captured and we couldn't be happier with our photos!

From the moment we met Mark, we knew that we would be working with an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, professional, experienced, passionate, and dedicated individual. Mark's positive & relaxed attitude and his expertise made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Prior to our wedding, Mark figured out what kind of pictures we hoped for, what our "style" was like, as well as the dynamics of our family, etc. He had a list of pictures/group shots that we wanted him to capture & he mapped out timeline to get them all done (in the fastest and least intrusive way possible!). On the day of our wedding, Mark and his assistant, were prompt, efficient, not obtrusive, professional, and energetic as always! They listened to our ideas/requests and offered up many awesome ideas of their own. They worked well together and worked well with our families and bridal party. They did not rush out at the end or make us feel that they adhered to a specific time frame...they stayed as long as we needed them to in order to capture all the big & small moments. After the event, they were very quick to post all of their photos online and shared the website/passwords with our guests so that they could enjoy them as well! Finally, the photo albums....UNBELIEVABLE!!! The photo albums that Kat and Mark put together are one-of-a-kind and are truly masterpieces. They sent us a sample album and we were able to make as many changes to it as we wanted (this was all done online with an easy-to-use program). Furthermore, they edited many of the pictures upon request. Honestly, every time I look at the album, I am brought to tears. We are beyond appreciative for the work that Majestic Studios did from start-to-finish and for their expertise, patience, and flexibility, and desire to please. We have a video and beautiful photos that will last a lifetime (and beyond) to remember our special day. THANK YOU!!!

We are so happy we chose Majestic Studios to capture our wedding day!! We had photography and videography, both simply amazing and highly recommended! Mark was incredibly professional. While we were deciding between a few different photographers, Mark was very responsive to our questions and was giving us honest and genuine responses. We created a package with the photo/video that worked for us. And looking back, we couldn't have imagined our day without them. They helped the day run smoothly! Always there when we needed them and felt like they were so attentive. We requested a picture of our entire group of guests and Mark and his assistant were able to coordinate it and communicate effectively with everyone to make it happen! The first time we saw Majestic Studios' photos we knew we were going to book them for our wedding. Mark and Kat are incredible to work with. From the beginning they both were so helpful, accommodating, and made us feel at ease. They have several packages at many different price points to fit any budget. They were so open to customizing their packages to our wants and needs that it really made working with them such a pleasure!
They discussed with us what our vision was for our photos so that they could capture everything that we had imagined.
We had a very large wedding party with many big personalities and Mark and Kat kept everyone on track and on our timeline , so we didn't have to worry about anything. They really helped us keep the day running so smoothly!
Our photos were online within a couple of days! They really went above and beyond our expectations. There were so many details and moments they captured that we may not have seen with out them.
Kat's design of our album is amazing! Our photos are so beautiful. Our album truly does tell the story of our wedding day.

SO! Mark was recommended to me by a few people when I first became engaged, that I met him at a Bridal show and I was like ok sweet this guy is amazing, his photo's are fabulous & there's no doubt who I want photographing my wedding. Multiple good meetings and conversations before and than bam day of, Mark and Kat were not just photographing our wedding but they were laughing with us and being our friends. We had so much fun and I knew that's how it would be, I loved how they understood my sarcasm and from hardly knowing me they grabbed my personality and made our wedding special. They do hundreds of weddings but each is different because they custom it to you, they learn you, they ask you questions and they study you. MY PHOTO'S ARE AMAZING, EVERYONE WHO HAS SEEN THEM CAN'T STOP RAVING ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL MY PHOTOGRAPHER IS. He captured the exact moments someone would want to remember. Every detail put into our wedding was photographed because he knows after that day is done you'll have your photos forever and he thinks of forever each time he takes a photo. We used Majestic Studios as our photographer for our wedding on Aug 19th in Washingtonville NY.
Mark and Kat were so accommodating from the very start, promptly addressing all of our many questions throughout the months leading up to the wedding.
We had the pleasure to work with Kat on our wedding day. She made sure to get the shots we had requested, even though the whole bridal party was late for pictures(brides fault).
Kat was so patient with the whole wedding party and family, making sure everyone was where they needed to be for group shots.

There are no words big enough to thank Majestic Studios for working with us on our wedding. Every single detail from our engagement pictures to our guest book and to the final product of our wedding was 100 percent perfect! Mark & Kat worked on my sisters wedding and they were so thoughtful in making sure our wedding had a different feel and look. Our pictures were emailed to us during our honeymoon and we spent hours looking at all the wonderful memories. Each moment of our wedding was captured beautifully. The attention to detail was perfect. Mark & Kat are such a joy to work with. Mark was incredibly professional and fun to work with for our April 15th wedding! He showed up early and kept my decent sized bridal party and family members cruising through photos. When looking for a photographer for our wedding, my husband and I knew we wanted reasonable, quality work. We had met with many other photographers in the area but none came close to Mark & his team at Majestic Studios. We instantly knew from meeting Mark and reviewing his work that Majestic was the way to go. He was extremely reasonable in making his packages fit into our budget. We had many conversations via email and Mark was always prompt and thorough in his response. The day of our wedding was magical and we're so happy we decided to go with Majestic Studios. Family and friends have viewed some of our pictures and can't believe the quality of work that was put into them. Some even said they didn't notice our photographer or videographer that day. Our pictures are BEAUTIFUL. We also watched our video (also done by Majestic Studios) and I of course cried through the whole thing. We are SO happy we decided to get it and it fit into our budget, thanks to Mark! It is something we will cherish forever. My husband and I used Majestic Studios to capture our wedding back in 2012. The service, quality, price and professionalism were unmatched by any other vendor we had seen during our planning process. Mark shot our wedding and came with an assistant as to not miss any moment of our special day. They were prompt, courteous, and even helped our guests with tips on how they can take great photos of our day too! Mark and is staff were not obtrusive. They did not get in the way of our guests at all, which was appreciated by everyone. For weeks after, our guests even commented on how wonderful Mark was. They hardly even knew he was there, yet he captured every second perfectly!

Flash forward 2.5 years. We have still remained in contact with Mark and his staff, and decided to FINALLY purchase a wedding album. Our original plan was to make one ourselves, but life got in the way and it never got done. We reached back out to Mark and he was more than happy to accomodate us. His assistant, Kat, and I worked together to create an album that would become a family treasure that would last a lifetime. I can be overly anal about detail and Kat had the patience of a saint working with me.

When the album arrived, I was floored! I had never seen anything so beautiful in all my life. The album is a far cry from the traditional album that your parents might of had. It came in a beautiful archival wood box with felt lining. The album has a glass cover and the pages are thick photo quality which makes the photos pop like never before. It is truly a work of art!!

I would highly recommend Majestic Studious! What sets them apart is the way they conduct business. They are not transactional. They don't see couples with dollar signs in their eyes, rather they see you as people and they care about you and your day. Your wedding is their wedding too, not just a gig that they get paid to be a part of.

So thankful I choose Majestic Studios for my special wedding day. Mark and his assistant were amazing. They not only took amazing photos but they helped keep me calm during a stressful morning (due to another vendor). Some how they managed to get some great photos with all the rushing and stress. From the first time we met Mark and Kat from Majestic studios, it was an instant click. Their fun and caring personalities made our experience a wonderful one, from the beginning to the end. When thinking back to wedding planning, I have to say choosing vendors can be one of the more stressful aspects. 6 months later and I can still say choosing Majestic Studios was by far our best decision. Mark and Kat were absolutely amazing, wonderful, fantastic, to work with. Mark captured a fabulous engagement shoot in Hoboken, NJ. Leading up to the wedding Mark was my go to person to email. He answered ALL my questions quickly and was always very helpful. We also did video through Majestic Studios and it was exactly what I wanted. Mark and Kat captured moments on our wedding day that I never would have thought of. From the bridal prep to the first look to the ceremony and reception every picture was better then the next. I still look at my wedding album and all of my pictures frequently and I am happier every time I see them. I would without a doubt recommend Majestic Studios to capture any event but definitely something as special as your wedding day.

Majestic Studios was wonderful to work with!!!! From the first time I met with Mark I instantly felt at ease. He wasn't pushy and was very accommodating, and let his work speak for itself. Mark is a truly talented photographer and has such a great vision for photography. And Kat was great as well! They make a great team! I am beyond thrilled with the quality of my pictures and so happy we chose to work with Majestic studios. I know I made the right decision looking at my photos, and will have these images and album to treasure forever. Throughout the chaos of the day they somehow managed to capture everything... every little detail, stolen moments, all the emotions, and some traditional shots as well, without the photos ever looking fake or forced. Which is exactly what I wanted! We also worked with Mark for our engagement photo shoot which we loved as well! He was always quick to respond and touch base with us, and we had great communication throughout the entire process. Also they were extremely quick with getting the photos up online and to us. I was impressed with how quick it was. My family and friends have all commented on the wonderful pictures and even ordered photos for themselves as well. Mark is amazing. Everyone told me is be too busy with pictures to even see my own wedding, well they didn't have mark. He made sure we got to enjoy our wedding. He made sure we were both comfortable and made me feel beautiful. He was so much fun. He has a way of capturing the most unique and artistic pictures, and yet still can get some of those traditional ones in for us to give to the grandparents. I feel like my wedding photos are more than pictures, they are artwork and my husband and I are the focus. I am beyond happy. After the day is over you have your spouse and the pictures to capture the memories. Do not cheap out on your memories. Make the investment. I'm glad we did and my husband is too

We used Majestic Studios for our wedding on October 10th. We are so happy we used Mark! He got everything done on time, was professional, helpful , easy to work with , and took absolutely beautiful pictures! We were able to view our photos on his website a couple days after our wedding while on our honeymoon which made it more special for us. He did an amazing job and we will be forever be thankful. Mark was not only the photographer for our wedding but was also the photographer at my brothers wedding last year. Mark and his staff are EXCELLENT! Mark is very professional but still relatable. He mixes classic portriats along with artistry to allow you a wide variety of beautiful photos to choose from. The two weddings had very different styles and personalities to them the first very sofisticated and classic and the ours was an outdoor wedding at a historic location on the river. Mark was able to capture what each couple wanted flawlessly. Our pictures are pnenominal and epic at the lighthouse on the river. He captured our setting and our love perfectly through pictures. We even have a few where family and friends were just in awe and some that reminded them of old hollywood inspired prints. We had a wonderful variety of photos of family and friends as well as our ceremony photos. He combines candid and posed shots. Mark and his team are very easy to work with and are all about pleasing the bride and groom. They go above and beyond to get wonderful shots to hold on to such timeless memories. They produce gorgeous wedding albums as well and allow to customize start to finish.

I could not have been more excited to come home from our honeymoon and get to stay awake looking at our amazing fabulous wonderful wedding pictures. They are seriously more amazing than I could have ever imagined. Mark was amazing to work with from the first meeting until now while we are working on the album. Choosing a photographer can seem overwhelming and I can honestly say this is one vendor we knew was perfect for us from the minute we signed the contract. Our engagement pictures were taken in Hoboken, NJ where we met. Mark traveled to us and even after the wedding I am still looking at the engagement pictures remembering how speical the day was. I have never been so satisfied with a photographer until i met Mark at Majestic studios. Mark was a gem to work with since day one, he was always available by phone and e-mail, and would answer any of my questions, take any of my recommendations and always email me back so quickly. As soon as I saw marks booth at a bridal expo almost a year and a half before my wedding i knew right away after seeing his type of work that i wanted him as my wedding photographer. He is truly passionate at what he does, and most importantly works his butt off during your event. He also did my engagement photo shoot and worked his tail off there and produced beautiful photos. My wedding photos are out of this world and we couldn't be happier with our choice. He really gets every shot during the wedding, makes you feel so comfortable and most importantly has fun with you! Believe me you want Mark and Kat on your wedding day! I've never experienced such attentiveness. You don't have to worry about - how does my hair look? How's my dress? They take care of all of that for you! They captured so many special moments that only a truly focused and topnotch photographer would. From my mom and dad holding hands as my brother preformed a song to the look of pure excitement My husband and I shared walking down the aisle - they paid attention to the little details as well as the big picture. The photos were just beautiful and the coffee table style album they put together was out of this world! They're the best and I'd happily recommend them to anyone!

I fell in love with Majestic Studios from the second i spoke with them at a Bridal Show and they did not let me down the entire process. Mark was easy to work with and plan leading up to our event and the day of Kat was SPECTACULAR. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Mark and his team at Majestic Studios. We first found Mark at a bridal show, and unlike other photographers at the show who were hassling us with their 'bridal show specials', Mark and his team let their photos speak for themselves. You know a product is good when you don't have to 'sell' it. His photos speak for themselves and are ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. When we looked at other photos from other vendors, they were nice, but ordinary. The folks at Majestic Studio have a keen eye for their craft and provide a QUALITY product. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

We booked really early and in the process, we had a ton of questions. Mark was prompt in response, professional, and real. He didn't give us the run around. On our wedding day, Mark and his assistant Jackie, made me and the entire bridal party feel like we were kings and queens. They really took care of us, and even to this day, we have heard so many people who were at our wedding, who weren't even in the bridal party, rave about how nice they were. Remember, your wedding is a day that will happen only once. Why go with ordinary, when you can go with the best! I wish I could get married all over again so that I can relive the whole experience with Majestic Studios

Majestic Studios has been there for me through my whole wedding process! We got engaged September 2011 and Mark always called me and answered any of my questions. I could tell he valued his customers when he emailed/called me immediately. Mark did our engagement shoot and they came out fantastic! I was so pleased with his work and professionalism. Kat did our wedding pictures this past weekend. The minute she walked through the door of my house she was attentive, sweet, fun and there for me to help with anything i needed. When we arrived at the church, there was a time that i started to panic and Kat was sitting at the limo at one point to talk me through it! She was fantastic at the church getting family photos done and making sure she got great shots of everything! At the reception she was also great! First, let me just say that both Mark and Kat are absolutely amazing and helped make our wedding day beyond what I expected. Our family and friends have raved about our photos, thank you cards, and our bridal party at how fun they made taking photos (even in the hot and humid weather with screaming children that MIL's was too busy to stay and watch... I really think that says something). Through all the stressful moments Mark was there cool, confident and ready to go, helping everyone to relax, and he stayed calm even through even the most frustrating moments.

Wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but I'm glad to say that choosing my vendors was not. Knowing that I wanted to have amazing photographs, since the wedding day would surely be gone before I knew it I decided to look for a photographer as my first task after deciding a vendor. The Villa pointed me towards Majestic Studios, as well as some others (which I then added to with my own research), and I absolutely loved their style and portfolio, but was hesitant to choose them. From the beginning Mark was absolutely awesome, he's laid back, full of knowledge, and willing to give his own advice while taking in your requests. Most of all he is willing to customize and compromise to give you what you want without a fight. He was also very professional and quick about emailing or calling during the entire process from book to finish.

During our engagement shoot we were very hesitant, neither of us particularly liking our photos being taken, but Mark got us warming up. By the time we worked with him at the wedding, and had our family and friends around us, we had a blast and our personalities were able to come out into our photos some more. He knows what makes a great photo and what will make you look your best.

We just recently finished designing our custom coffee table album with Kat, of which she put our pictures together in an awesome way that we never would have thought of. Based on the examples, and the low-res photos we know that we are going to flip when we get to see it, which will be any time now! Kat was also a lot of fun to work with at the wedding and you can see the two play well off each other. While we started off meeting our original photography budget, we decided to put some extra in to it by the end to get what we really wanted in our album. My best advice for a wedding is to not skimp on the photography, because you will have that forever. My second most important advice, book majestic studios if you are getting married in the Hudson Valley area....I can't stress enough how happy I am and how amazing they are.

Our wedding photos are a work of art and truly MAJESTIC!!! Mark was very professional, reliable, trustworthy, flexible, not to mention extremely responsive via email & phone. As a typical bridezilla, I had a very detailed oriented timeline planned for the wedding and even presented it to Mark a few weeks before the wedding not realizing that it wasn't necessary because he kept everything running as smoothly as possible & directed the photography very efficiently throughout the entire wedding day! Not only had Mark uploaded photos within a week of the wedding for guests to view online, but by the time my husband and I returned from our honeymoon, Mark was all set with the proofs from our wedding day! The prints we received were of such fine, high quality, I was overcome with excitement, I immediately ran home & framed them ALL!!! Our wedding day was the greatest day of our lives and we were honored to have Mark capture all of our most precious, emotional, happy moments... Working with Mark was a joy, he is both patient during meetings/over emails and very responsive or items that need follow up. He was fantastic during our event and knew our venue well. He dealt with our family with class and kept a fun and happy atmosphere even when trying to get what he needed (I really appreciated this).

Our proofs and album were turned around in no time, no fuss, no problems. I have heard horror stories about wedding photographers, but not with Mark - you get a professional.

I couldn't ask for anything more, he was worth every penny! Absolutely reccomend.

one word amazing!!!!!!!!! i got married on aug 20th 2011 and the second i got out of the car mark and his assistant greeted me and went thru the day with me. its wasnt over powering or annoying. he was great about it. the rest of the day went smooth. we had so much fun with mark and kat. you honestly didnt even know they were there. about 2 weeks after the wedding i got a call from mark saying that my proofs were ready. i got them and was amazed at the quality and the shots them selves more than half i didnt even relize he was there. i love him and highly recommend him to anyone..... i will be using him again<3

I don't even know where to begin...... there is so much I want to say about Mark and Kat. Majestic studios was one of many photographers I looked at in my search for photos for my wedding. I am huge into pictures and really wanted to choose the perfect person for the job. I found it with Mark. He was friendly, honest, professional, reasonably priced, and to top it off his eye for taking the most incredible photos was astounding. He and Kat were the perfect team. The day of he was so great, never pushy or rude (ive heard some horror stories).... he handled 8 drunkin groomsmen with ease and patience. The attendants in the wedding party remarked after how taking the photos was one of there favorite parts of the wedding day. I just picked up the pictures and almost cried at the quality and personal attention that he put into every single photo. Family raved about how beautiful the pictures were. On June 10, 2000 I hired Mark Greenstone of Majestic Studios. I will be honest I was young and picked him because he had the best prices. Everything went wrong that day BUT my photographer Mark. He was on time professional friendly and courteous. He even made me laugh when I wanted to cry! When my photos arrived,which was right after our honeymoon, they were beautiful. Unfortunately or fortunately that marriage ended. In 2009, I got engaged to a wonderful man ! Who said the wedding business isn't a repeat business? I knew immediately who my photographer was going to be. I contacted Mark and found out that he hadn't changed! His his artistic ability was still off the charts he was still flexible with the packages as I had remembered AND he had added Kat to his staff, who is truly a gem. The day of the wedding, April 18 2010, I will be honest I don't really remember Mark or Kat being there simply because they weren't invasive and they were so professional. Yet when I received the proofs approximately 7 days later I was OVERWHELMED with the work that I had received rather ART that I had received. They took such amazing pictures of everything! It left me saying "When did he take that?" ! haha... The only issue you will have with Majestic Studios is picking out the pictures for your album because there will be so many great ones. I recommend adding pages like I did!
Majestic Studios prices were still awesome after all of these years however your photographer is NOT where you want to trim your budget. These are your memories and I am so happy that he was able to provide me with such great memories of a day I will never forget..once again. Thank you Mark and Kat!

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing Majestic Studios for my photography. The entire experience was stress-free and working with Mark and Kat was a pure pleasure. I was very nervous before the ceremony, but my anxiety was quickly relieved when Mark took control and made me laugh. Mark is so dependable and experienced that I never had to worry about anything! Even though it rained on my wedding day, Mark made the best of the situation and my pictures are phenomenal. I received many compliments from my guests about how they never even realized the photographers and videographer were present. Most photographers in the Hudson Valley area were thousands of dollars for wedding photography. Mark worked with my limited budget. I chose his package A at $800, which includes a proof album for the bride and groom (the photos do not say proof on them) and then we added only what was important to us from there, rather than go up to the next package which was $3000. He also has huge packages and DVD options etc for the all-out bride. He and his employees were very professional, knowledgeable and I am so happy with my photos!

He captured all of the photos that were important to me and then took beautiful photos I would have never thought of taking. Scott was amazing as well and I literally cannot stop watching my video. He captured the day perfectly! I laugh and cry every time I watch it. I expected to wait several weeks, even months before seeing my photos and video. I was in complete shock when I had proofs to view prior to coming back from my honeymoon. I hardly had to make edits as Kat is a top notch designer and makes beautiful albums! Amazing and flexible

Kat and Mark were awesome. Mark was great in helping us pick extras that we wanted to add to our package and was helped work with our budget. Kat was amazing the day of. She had great ideas of how to set us up and get shots we hadn't even thought of. She was super fun and matched our personality great. Great candid shots!

Photography was very important to me, as it serves as your eyes on your wedding day (you miss so much during the day) and when we met Mark and Kat at The Grand wedding show and saw examples of their work. We met with Mark soon after and booked him immediately for our wedding (a year in advance!). Over the course of the next year we communicated back and forth with Mark and he was very helpful in helping us set the timeline for our wedding day. Mark sent us a planning sheet prior to the wedding that helped set our vision for our wedding day. The day of the wedding went very smoothly and Kat and Mark both arrived early.
