I cannot say enough about how much I loved having Maison cater our 2023 wedding! From the moment we had our tasting in 2022, all we could talk about was how good our food was going to be. Somehow the food was even better during the wedding - and the drinks from the bartenders were all excellent as well.
Nick and Danielle were amazing to work with. Danielle was very responsive to all of our menu questions and very open to suggestions. If you are in need of a caterer that can make some of the best vegan or other dietary restrictive food, look no further - it was absolutely phenomenal and we didn’t have to worry at all about cross contamination.
Finally, Nick was just so amazing the day of our wedding. He was so professional, so excited to see was get married, made sure we always had food and drinks, and just a very wonderful person. -

We really enjoyed working with Maison Cuisine for our wedding. Nick and Danielle were great. They are very professional and kept our wedding running smoothly. They made the planning process easy and fun and worked seamlessly with our venue and other vendors. The food was great! We appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan options they have, as did our guests. They are also very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend them for any event. -

Maison Cuisine somehow blends quick communication, exceptional service, and reasonable pricing into what can otherwise be an overwhelming wedding caterer bidding experience. They worked seamlessly with our venue and BYO liquor vendor, asked thoughtful questions and buttoned up all of the little details in advance of the wedding. I truly didn't have to worry about one thing on the big day, and my guests truly *raved* about the food. It came out hot (seriously!) and delicious for each of our 110 guests, and the apps, dessert and late-night potato bar (fries, tots, and toppings galore!) did not disappoint. I'd recommend them to truly anyone looking for a fabulous, well-priced wedding caterer in Chicago. -

We worked with Maison for our wedding in January 2022 and really loved them! Danielle was really responsive and incredibly helpful. She answered all my dumb questions and was really flexible. If you have a budget, she works with you to try to stay as close to that as possible, which I appreciated. There are a lot of catering companies who don't care whether they get your business or not or don't bother to work with your budget, but Danielle truly did, and that made a big difference. Her team are also pros, so they gave us a lot of suggestions for the run of show and made everything really easy the day of.
The food was delicious. A lot of people gave us compliments about it. And Maison is great if you have people with dietary restrictions or want to get creative with their menu. When we did our tasting, there were a couple items that we mixed and matched with Danielle's recommendations. Also, if you have other vendors, such as alcohol, dessert or late night food, Maison will step in the days before the wedding and take over coordination, which was super helpful and one less thing for s to worry about.
I would definitely recommend them! -

We were so excited about our menu from Maison Cuisine that we decided to post it on our wedding website to get guests as excited about it as we were. Not only were the hors-d'oeuvres, meal options, and late-night snack absolutely delicious, but Maison Cuisine also came with an entire crew of servers, bartenders, and leaders to help us coordinate our entire wedding. They all worked seamlessly with the venue coordinators to set up, tear down, and set up again the ceremony, dinner, and reception party. Danielle was very responsive and helpful with all of the planning, and Nick asked all of the right questions to help us throw the best day ever! -

Look no further - Maison Cuisine NEEDS to be your caterer for your wedding day.
We booked Maison Cuisine for our 60 person wedding in June 2021, and we are so thankful we did. Danielle and her team were amazing to work with - from the tasting to the clean-up they were consistently on our side, making sure they understood what we wanted/expected and 100% meeting our needs. They are very seasoned with weddings and helped us think through elements of the wedding that would have completely slipped through the cracks with a less experienced caterer. Chelsea and Nick were the two event coordinators/leads for our wedding and they are both fantastic. They made sure food was served on time and even set out all the table decor, plates, linens, etc AND made sure to bring up champagne and hors d'oeuvres just for the bride and groom after the ceremony. They did an outstanding job.
I am so thankful for Maison Cuisine. They made our wedding day seamless, and we had so many compliments on the food (having excellent food was really important to us)! They went above and beyond what I expected of a wedding caterer, and I would not hesitate to hire them again for any big events in the future.Maison Cuisine's reply:

We were so lucky to stumble on Maison Cuisine. Danielle and her team are insanely talented, incredibly accommodating, and very reasonably priced in the Chicago market. Several guests mentioned they offered the best wedding food they had ever had. We opted for a cocktail-style, all appetizers dinner and went for waves of different offerings, keeping people very well fed and happy. Maison Cuisine had tons of choices for any dietary restriction and preferences, making out vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free friends super happy! Our only regret is that we, my husband and I, missed out on a lot of the food from being so busy! Maison Cuisine also allowed us to bring in different outside food vendors for specific things and still handled putting out that food, which was incredibly gracious. Finally the staff, chefs, servers and bartenders, was incredible. They truly went the extra mile, were extremely attentive to my groom and myself, all the way to packing up all leftovers really nicely. I will recommend Maison Cuisine forever! -

We were scrambling for a caterer after changes to our day due to COVID. With only ~2 week's notice, Danielle was able to put together a passed hors d'oeuvres and bar service for a 2 hour event (and didn't bat an eye to all the mind/menu-changing in the process). She was super quick to respond to my emails, stayed in our budget, and her team was SO GREAT day-of. Very professional, kind, and overall wonderful! -

From the beginning, Danielle was great to work with. She responds to messages so quickly and is very thorough with how the process works. She is a wealth of knowledge and is so flexible with all our requests.

We knew immediately we wanted to go with Maison Cuisine once we met Danielle and tasted her food! Everything was beyond delicious, beautiful, full portions and made with love :) We’ve received SO many compliments on how amazing our appetizers, dinner, cheese cake (literally made out of cheese) , and Late night food was. Danielle and her crew were so professional and friendly to work with. She was upfront with us and honest and you could just tell she wants to make every event the best. They were wonderful and we would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you again! -

Danielle was very professional, accommodating and easy to work with. The food was delicious and served in a professional manner. Many of the guests complimented us on it. I've heard many people say they didn't have time to eat during their weddings, but I made sure to do so. and my mango chicken was scrumptious. Highly recommended. - Lon Wehrle (groom) -
User1700273 Sent on 07/07/2014Danielle and her team were great to work with! She was one of the approved caterers at Salvage One, and I'd heard a lot of positive things about her from other folks. I was planning our Chicago wedding from the East Coast and it didn't phase Danielle at all. She was prompt in her responses, very organized and took the time to walk me through everything remotely.
We finally met face-to-face about a month before our wedding to do our walk through. We had some issues with the vendors I had selected for our cake and booze liquor store. Both fell through at the last minute. I was really stressed about it and Danielle went above and beyond.... offering some other alternatives who ended up being easy to work with and worked out perfectly.
On our wedding day, Danielle's team was there on time and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food and the service was great. They even made a plate for us during cocktail hour to make sure we were able to enjoy everything. I'd highly recommend Maison Cuisine.
