  Greg was an amazing dj. He responded to every e-mail and call within a few hours. Any questions or concerns we had he was willing to do anything that he could to answer them. At the reception he got the crowd up and moving with some fun dance songs and was open for any songs that our guests requested. The week before the wedding we were in contact with him just about everyday ensuring that everything was planned the way that we wanted it to be. We would use him again for any function that required a dj. We would also highly recommend him.

  Greg was so easy to work with. He was very accommodating with traditions that were a part of our reception. He was quick to respond to questions, concerns, and needs. Greg also gave us suggestions for different parts of the reception.

  My wife and I did not take the task of selecting a DJ too lightly. It was important for us to have exceptional quality of service, professionalism etc, given the fact the DJ would set the mood for our entire reception. DJ Greg Young exceeded what we consider the highest of standards. Greg incorporated the latest in technology to allow for easy song selection prior to our wedding, an open ear should we have any concerns up to our wedding day and attention to detail. Our family dynamics may have thrown other DJ's, but Greg seamlessly incorporated special recognition into a evening of non-stop dancing. We interviewed about 5-6 other DJ's prior to selecting Greg, and from our perspective, he was in another league of professionalism and class. The other key attribute of Greg's services was his ability to read our guests, staying in tune to music likes of both an older and younger generation. We highly recommend Maine Event Entertainment and DJ Greg Young.

  Greg was a true professional from begining to end. He was quick to respond to emails and the online planner made things MUCH easier. Greg lets you "run the show" as far as setting the schedule for your event and selecting music etc. yet is quick to step in with advice and suggestions. His selection was perfect and he kept the dance floor busy all night.
  
  All of my guests loved his personality and style - could not recommend him enough!

  Maine Event Entertainment was absolutely amazing. Greg helped me every step of the way. He was completely professional and kept everyone entertained the entire time. I can't even begin to say how many people commented on how perfect the music was. Even my parents (who always have something negative to say) said the music was perfect and that they wanted him to keep playing for another hour! I wouldn't recommend anyone else besides Greg to be your DJ.

  We heard after the reception that Greg was more nervous about doing this reception than he had any other that he had previously done. You would never have known it. We had a hawaiian-theme reception and Greg did a great job getting music for our theme for our dinner music. We have heard from many of our guest and the staff that this was one of the most fun receptions they have seen in a long time. Greg did an awesome job keeping our guest on the dance floor. We had many young children at our reception and they loved the Chicken Dance and everyone young and old enjoyed the Cha-Cha Slide. We really had a terrific day. Greg helped to make our reception a memorable event. Thank you Greg for such a fun day Mom and Brad

  Greg was an amazing DJ for our wedding on Peaks Island, ME. He was very professional, easy to talk to and work with. He was flexible, and accommodating. He worked with us to make our day amazing, and it was! Greg played wonderful music, he made sure everyone at all age levels was taken care of. People raved about the great music selection. He had fun oldies up to the latest hits, and he knew when to play them and how to keep people on the dance floor! That was so important to me, and he did it wonderfully. Most of all, whenever me or the groom had a request, he played it immediately which was a lot of fun, especially as the night went on! We would just call out a song and it would play next, it was like having our own dance club. We had a blast and didn't stop dancing all night! He also did a great job of announcing events like the special dances, cake cutting, etc. He made sure everyone knew what was happening, but not in an overpowering way. Very professional. He made everything flow very smoothly. We also had a few extra speeches, and some games we wanted to play and he was very helpful in accommodating that. We would definitely book Greg again for another event, and we very highly recommend his services!

  Greg Is Fantastic!
  
  He is extremely funny and definitely plays to the audience that he has. Earlier in the evening he was very personable with the entire crowd, and his demeanor depended on the types of songs he was playing. So during "serious" dances he was extremely professional and worked with the crowd to honor those dancing (first dance, mother son, father/daughter, anniversary, etc.). When the evening wore on, and it was a younger crowd of my friends he was much more upbeat and again...played to the audience that he had.
  
  He kept our guests dancing all night. We were very particular about the songs/atmosphere that we wanted. He played every song we requested and found the perfect moments to play those special songs that either I requested for my bride or she for me. He really was fantastic in this department.
  
  Greg was extremely easy to work with, he drove to meet us where we worked and met around our schedule. The week before the wedding he was at our call with anything he needed. On the evening of he helped to organize the dance floor/reception hall while we were getting married. He went above and beyond what we expected of him. He was very professional and the staff at the reception hall we were at asked me at the end of the night for his name/contact information so they could consider using him as the on-site DJ to call for weddings/events. They said he was one of the most professional yet easy going and most well-prepared DJ they had ever had at the center. Our guests loved him as well and thought he did an excellent job working the room and getting everyone involved. In fact, we had to couples who were engaged at our wedding and both are planning to contract Greg for their weddings.

  Greg was absolutely amazing. He listened to everything we wanted and was very professional. He played the right music to get everyone dancing..infact the reception was such a huge success that we extended it an hour because people were dancing and having so much fun! I would highly recommend Maine Event Entertainment to every bride and groom. We were very pleased with his services!!

  Greg Young was an awesome DJ, he did a wonderful job. He is the best DJ i have ever had and ever seen. His mic skills are so great, he was very detailed and did one hell of a job.

  Greg was amazing. Always quick to respond to emails and willing to change things up at the drop of hat during the reception. The music selection he has available is amazing. Something for everyone. He'll obtain songs if he doesn't have them already. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an amazing DJ and a fun party.
